Very happy today!Fast service my appointment was at 8:40 and i Was out by 9:32. Maybe because it’s a day after holiday 🤷🏻‍♀️ All the staff very nice and professional. Great experience with Nurse Practitioner made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and my procedure was painless 🙌🏻

The staff and nurse (I think?) was very knowledgeable, considerate and professional. Thanks to the nurse, I felt comfortable and safe when getting my Nexplanon removed. I highly recommend!

I went to FPA for consult and scheduling a surgical termination. I was so nervous at all of the risks associated, i was in tears and on edge. The staff is very informative, kind, and reassuring. They treat you so well! Two people that stood out the most to me were Teresa, she assured me that everything would be ok and i would be well taken care of and Elsa she was so sweet and gentle in post op. Dr. Rachel Steward did my procedure and also educated me on IUDs. She was so nice and professional. Would recommend using this facility as you will be made feel cared for and like your health really matters to them!! 10 out of 10.

I’ve been to FPA in Long Beach and this one every time I’ve come to this one I’m waiting over two hours for something minimal like a follow up. I literally just walked out of this appointment because my appointment was for 9:30 and its 11:30 they only took a urine sample. When I got my copper IUD inserted Dr. Teresa was the one who help me she had terrible bedside manner when I fainted. They also sent me a concerning scary letter all bc of a follow up that didnt even happen. Not to mention this is supposed to be free womens healthcare and i paid out of pocket as well. I rather spend my money else where

At downtown location, nurse practitioner, Alexandra and the doctor are wonderful! They explain things in detail and make sure that I am comfortable during procedures. I am grateful for their service!!

Honestly the best, well inform facility I’ve ever been to, planned parenthood treated me like a number, they was very personable, treated you like a human being and which such care. Very clean, very nice employees, and nice facility

This place gets worse and worse every year. Staff is too busy chatting and texting to do their jobs. Minimum of a2 hour wait no matter what day or time. I have been forgotten (locked in) , they’ve lost my chart , misdiagnosed me for an sti and misdiagnosed the time frame of a pregnancy. No one knows what’s going on half of the time. If you don’t have an entire day dedicated to seeing these people you will be extremely annoyed by their lack of competence..Update: trying to get my patch prescription refilled. Called westmoreland to ask to speak to provider like I was instructed by the nurse . They made one for a telehealth11 am appointment. Waited on the link until 11 I got an in patient intake form. It froze on the site so I called the doctor. They tell me that it’s an in person appointment for 11 am in glendale. I made the appointment at 10:50 am. How in the hell would I get there by then. Idiots of the highest caliber. So now I’m waiting on the regional manager to call me back because everyone else doesn’t know how to fulfill a patch prescription. 🤨

I traveled to this FPA location from a different state for a medical termination. My baby was diagnosed with Trisomy-18 at four months. I was able to make an appointment easily which would be a two day procedure- prep & D&E. Both days I felt properly advised, informed, and taken care of. The entire staff was helpful, patient, and kind. I believe I had as positive of an experience as I could’ve had.I feel a lot of relief and gratitude; special thanks to Medical Assistant Elsa and Dr. Stewart.You are in good hands if you are in a similar situation or need assistance from FPA at this location.

This is the best clinic i have ever been to.All the staff is amazing really friendly, they treat you with respect.Never disappoint me, every time i come in they are very welcoming and helpful.

Every situation people have coming here is different and some pregnancies are VERY wanted but unhealthy. The lack of compassion shown was appalling. The lack of understanding and the poor choice of words are horrendous. You need to do better

My first time here at FPA Womens Health & I will say the staff are friendly and very attentive to you. I was a bit nervous to be seen but Nurse Practitioner Sandra Toledo made me feel comfortable and at ease. She explains everything clearly and gives you head ups what she is doing. Very professional and kind. Love this facility and would be coming here for all my future check ups. Thank You girls.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Staff was very nice but I had the worst experience with the Doctor. She had a very bad attitude. I went in for a certain exam & when I asked her she talked to me really bad saying they don’t do that two times. Okay lady, I understood you the first time. She started raising her voice & got mad because I couldn’t control myself from moving. I told her I couldn’t control it, to give me a second and she didn’t. When she left the room she slammed the door very loud, how old are you? Like, do you not care about your patients? Do you not know they’re in a vulnerable position already? For you to treat them like that. The nurse saw me crying & brought me the manager but please go somewhere else if you don’t want to be treated like an object. No one deserves that.

I have been to FPA Women’s Health on three separate occasions. Each experience has been very pleasant. The medical staff at this women’s health center are beyond kind and genuine. The staff answers questions thoroughly and with the utmost respect. One of my visits I had a physical exam done and I really appreciate the fact that my doctor was a woman because I felt much more comfortable and safe. I have overheard the manner in which the receptionists answer phone calls and even how they deal with nervous patients and it’s reassuring how gentle and thorough the receptionists were. Keep up the great work everyone! We appreciate all your hard work!

The ladies at FPA were very helpful and nice. Every room in the center was clean and I felt safe. All my needs were met. I would highly recommend going to FPA.

You can get an appointment pretty easily and they provide the basic OBGYN services, like STI testing, birth control, plan b, routine paps.But do not care about your long term care or goals, or a patient specific needs (if you have endo, PCOS, fibroids, abnormal paps—anything they won’t help coordinate long term care or solutions)The providers don’t read your chart consistently before your appointment (very negligent to not at least glance at it) They won’t even remember you telling them specifics about your case 2 minutes after you told them because they’re completely checked out. They’re not actually listening they’re just waiting for you to leave.It’s sad because accessible clinics like this can be so important to a community and the people who provide the actual care, are not with it at all and clearly do not care about what happens after their patient leaves or what they actually need. The front desk staff is nice though.

Been coming here for a few years now, staff is always kind and professional. They are thorough which I appreciate and very informative. Practice is very clean and wait time isn’t too long most of the times. I always schedule a day where I don’t have much planned just in case. Definitely recommend.

The nurses were amazing. They actually care about how you’re feeling. They have an answer to all your questions. I would recommend this place to any woman who is in need of care. I love this place and I appreciate everything they do ,#1 one in my book.

The lady I spoke with is so UNPROFESSIONAL. I called on Monday November 13, 2023 at 3:02pm to ask why they had called me over 10 times and left multiple voicemails. She told me it was a follow up, on a test that I do not need. While inquiring, this Lady HUNG UP. I called back twice and whenever she heard my voice, she Hung up. Shameful display and quite RACIST as well. FPA needs to do better.

Staff is nice, but when you make an appointment I’ve always waiting 20 to 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment.. I’m always just told to sit and wait.. but I feel like If I made an appointment I should be taken care of.Like right this moment I made an appointment for 08:45 and I’m still here waiting while other customers came in and have gotten token cared off... it’s 1:27 now hopefully they won’t call me in an hour later. I really want to give them 2 stars but I’m being nice

From the time of walking in, to exiting, my visit was very pleasant. The process was quick, I was in and out within 2 hours. From the receptionist, to the nurses, to the surgeons, they were extremely caring and helpful! Even though the event of it all was sad, the whole staff made me feel safe and welcome throughout the whole process. I appreciate you ALL at FPA on Westmoreland!

I made an appointment for 3 pm and they called me at 4.30, when there was nobody else left in the waiting room. There were a lot of people coming after me and they kept calling them first. I was literally the last person left. And you know what? I was the only person who was white there. If you dont want to experience racism, dont come to that clinic!

Really clean, and organized. They offer great financial options and make you feel very safe. You’re going to want to set aside 4 hours for the appointment if it’s on a Saturday morning, but no shock there. They have everything under control and there’s no need to be nervous about anything! Staff is really nice and open to answering whichever questions you may have. Truly a great place, really grateful I came here.

I loved it fast and easy the doctors were nice only thing when I made appointments they were rude and they didn’t call when the doctor wasn’t in the first time so I wasted my time coming but the downtown location was good very careful and straight forward made me feel comfortable especially the doctors

All the bad reviews seem to be from a year or longer ago. I just visited this clinic last week (10/01/20) and this place was just great. All the staff from the receptionist, to the care coordinator, to the ultrasound tech, to the doctor, to the nurses in recovery were ALL genuine and kind. I waited about a half an hour to get called back but once I was called back everything moved very quickly. I felt cared for and safe which is so important when going through something like this. I would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful staff, service, and decor. Waited a significantly longer time for the doctor to come in after undressing for my annual exam than other parts of my visit (vitals and STD testing) but everything else about my appointment was swift and easy. Free crackers and water helped make my experience enjoyable as well.

This place is the best in Los Angeles. Every location I went to was amazing , wonderful crew and great doctors. They took Great care of me every time.I would definitely recommend it to my family members and friends especially women. Their service and care are out of this world .Thank you for every person that took care me while I was there and I thank Dr. Steward for being awesome.

Everyone was very professional, kind, and quick to help me. There were small wait times in between the process but it goes by fast. I get nervous during annual exams and I was afraid about how things would be handled. However, the doctor and all of the nurses were very helpful and professional. The doctor communicated to me every thing she was doing, she explained everything through the process and made the whole experience easier than I thought it would be. I was looking for a trustworthy and safe place to go for reproductive and women’s health—this place is it.

So far my experience has been good. The staff I had encountered were very helpful. They made me feel comfortable of my decision. They have a counselor that they could refer you too as well if any other issues come along. They answered all my questions at the best of the knowledge as they could and even made me not feel stupid asking questions either. I would recommend to come here.

Professional and caring staff.Dr Stewart is not only an excellent doctor she is also a compassionate human being . She successfully fixed a mess performed by a Dr from a different facility. Elisa was very rude. I’ve been coming here for 2+ years if not more. I’ve never experienced anything bad with any of the other girls. They always make you feel welcomed and very comfortable. Elisa in the other hand should not be in the front if she’s going to talk to the patients like that. Definitely made me feel so uncomfortable. She definitely needs guidance in how to correctly approach a patients. 3 stars only because the other girls and the clinic it self is amazing. But rating Elisa I’d say -1 star.

This location is by far the best Fpa, it is bright and clean. I don’t usually wait long as I did at their other sister location in lbc, I am attended promptly and effeciently. The MA’s are always nice. I park on the limited parking meters they have at the front but I believe there is a lot behind the building where you can park. It is a drive for me but I prefer this location.

Can’t recommend FPA highly enough. Everyone was kind, efficient and professional from the moment I walked in the door.Sidenote, I donate to PP but have never had a great experience in their facilities and last time was the last straw.It was such a relief to receive affordable care with truly exceptional bedside manner at FPA.

This was the best care I could ever ask for. They were gracious, professional and attentive, but most importantly, kind. My husband and I were extremely impressed by the level of care We received , and best of all they took my insurance. They really know how to make the best out of a bad situation.

I went in today for the usual girl stuff (2/25/2020) and the ENTIRE staff was amazing! From the two young ladies at the front desk, to Darlene that took down my info and BP, to the young lady that drew my blood, to the young lady that took me to the exam room to the doctor. They were honestly all so friendly. They really made me feel comfortable and heard.Thank you so much, ladies!Keep up the good work 🖤

Beth is the home girl u never knew u had. She made the worst news of my life seem totally dealable. Her knowledge sets u at ease and the way she speaks to u calms ur soul. Also the whole staff is genuinely concerned for your health and resources. I could go to a primary care doctor but I prefer these awesome ladies. I choose to pay to go here rather than use my insurance.

I visit fpa everyone was so nice staring with Martha then the lab tech Rocio didn’t even feel the needle and then flor n last the provider sunmeet she answered all my questions and concerns that I had … I would most definitely recommend this location the team here is awesome

Caring professionals, I was treated by Christina Pella, PA for my yearly checkup. She thoroughly answers questions and had a caring demeanor and bedside manner. I did feel a little bit like everyone was rushing (could just be me). However, I understand, that this is a busy facility. Wait times are a bit lengthy but not unexpected. Overall, good experience, ill be back for next year.For the entrance, sometimes there are some annoying and intrusive religious people who dont care if youre there for checkup or whatever PERSONAL reason. They come up to you and try to bother you. Just put your hand up and ignore these freaks. Unfortunately, I dont think the facility can do anything about them.

Expect to be here for about 2.5 hours. The wait is long, facility is clean, other text like HIV/STD are quick. Receptionist are quick to attend you and polite and nurses are polite,nice and professional. If you come to FPA don’t plan anything because your visit will not be short. The Doctor was beyond helpful and nice. I got my nexplanon removed with little to no pain thanks to her.

Would not recommend ever going here. They waste your time. Its been my 3rd attempt at coming in and they still have not verified my insurance. That should be the first thing before you attempt to bring in a new patient. I have given them 3 weeks to work on it and they are unprofessional and never answer their phones. They sit around and waste my time for no reason. Whats the point of being a clinic that just puts clients on hold and never answer their calls?

Everyone was so nice! The doc (cant remember her name) and nurse were the best people Ive ever known in a clinic. So professional and they explained everything to me. I was so nervous and she made me feel better.

This locations wait time is ridiculous. There’s really no point to make an appointment. All 4x I have come to this location, with an appointment, I had to wait an hour and a half just to be seen. Then they move you to another waiting room to wait some more!! There excuse is always on “we have 2 separate provider, one just takes longer than the other” crazy!

The Dr. And staff at the Westmoreland location was very professional and caring despite how busy they were. I didnt feel like just another number. I definitely would recommend this place to family and friends! Thank you for seeing me! 💜 -Adriana B.

I recieved a service from this clinic via telehealth. A month later was sent a collections letter for $550 even though I already paid upfront. Luckily I used my credit card and could prove payment. If I had paid in cash, then I would have been SOL. Keep your receipts, this place is shoddy.

All the experience was amazing no waiting time, (compared to downey all pack and nothings organized) scheduling was perfect all staff went above and beyond for any questions and needs that i had. The only thing is the anesthesiologist was horrible. She couldnt get a good vein and i got poked deep about 3 times. Even the doctor was friendly and attentive. Very happy, easy, fast, procedure.

Went to this location for a LEEP procedure in which I was put under anesthesia, after having 2 abnormal pap smears. Had a biopsy and cells came back having CIN 2 moderate pre cancerous cells. Cristina, Dr Stuart and all of the staff here made a very scary and nerve-wrecking experience smooth. Its hard enough to receive the results. But I felt like I was in very good hands. Thank you to all of the FPA staff.

All staff are great they made me feel welcome every time I visit the doctor. Lupe, Irma and Brinett are great nurses they had so much patience with me and they took good care of me. I have never seen nurses sodedicated to their job like I did with these nurses(Lupe, Irma, Brinett).

This was such a great experience for being such an uncomfortable appointment! All of the staff were so friendly and provided great care!

I was very nervous about the WHOLE situation. But I was greeted nicely. My intake personnel was SUPER helpful and kind. The procedure was very quick. My appointment was for 8am, I was out by a little after 10am.

A clean, orderly, friendly facility/staff. My insurance was verified prior to my appointment so nothing was a surprise in terms of coverage and what I needed to pay. The process for being seen is systematic and organized. Downtown location is accessible via subway, bus and light rail.

The wait here is just ridiculous. You would think that because it’s a more central location they have more staff. No they do not. More than two hours of waiting here and still nothing. Mission hills location is way faster and easy. Next time I will have to drive 15 miles rather than being local because YOU people need to hire more doctors. Need I remind the staff is SUPER RUDE when you ask why you have been waitiNg for two hours and a half

Received minimal information regarding the procedure beforehand. Didnt feel like the staff was supportive. Everyone was just there to do their job and your personal needs/emotions werent really considered in the process.

It was my first time in this clinic. It was so good, all doctors are very attentive and caring. I really liked it!

Went in to remove my birth control and Beth, the Doctor there, was so nice and made my experience more fun than scary, because Im not a needle person lol but she made me feel safe and not as scared.

This location has horrible service. Front desk kept putting me on hold after I described my situation. After 15min hold, she impolitely asked me what can I assist you and I said I described before and you put me on hold. Then she just hang up my call and when I tried to call back no one picked up my call anymore.

I honestly dont understand how this place has such a low rating. All staff here were so respectful and compassionate. They really took care of you and checked in on you all the time to see how you were. If you were in any pain they immediately accomadate you. As far as the wait time, it does take awhile, however, they inform you of this before you ever go in, so it shouldnt be a surprise.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Easy to book or change an appointment on the website or over the phone. Spent an hour working with me and my insurance company to make sure I was covered. HIGHLY recommend!

Ive had such a hard time finding somewhere open for Pap-Smears during covid and had no luck until I went to FPA.Their staff is so friendly, its quicker than most clinics Ive been to and I felt so much relief walking out.Thank you for the such an easy experience!

Had a good experience with my intake process thanks to the medical assistant Gabriela Perez . A really nice , sweet & enthusiastic person someone who details all the information for you and answers all your questions to make everything understandable to you . I enjoyed my first visit here and will be coming back for another appointment next week thanks to Gaby for recommending me new resources here .

I 100% prefer FPA women’s clinic over planned parenthood any time I have needs with my female body. Hospitality is excellent.

All the staff members were super welcoming and sweet and Dr. Barcellos was so wonderful. Theyre also taking precautions and keeping chairs apart in the waiting room. There was only one other patient when I was there

Struggling with a mental Battle and a breakup was not easy to deal with, during a pandemic. finding out about FPA womens Health Therapy was probably a life changing experience for me. I mean, I had a phenomenal therapist by the name of Dr. Bradly whom I would recommend to anyone! she not only listened to me and assisted me through the most difficult times. she provided me with the skills I needed to guide me through the times I was unsure about or fearful of. if you or a loved one is suffering from any kind of mental illness, I would definitely recommend FPA womens Health therapy. remember your mental health is important.

The staff here were really kind, especially the NP whose name I cant remember :( only giving 3 stars because of the waittttttt. i was sitting in stirrups waiting to be seen for 40 mins, and that was after being in the waiting room for 15 mins despite having an appointment. and it was late on a sunday and i think it was just me and 1 other patient so im not sure what the hold up was. BUT it was still a great experience bc of the NPs customer service, she was so supportive and compassionate throughout the procedure.

Super kind and funny. They all make me feel very comfortable and most importantly they make me feel heard. As soon as you check in…the wait is never too long. Highly recommended.

They could do better on keeping confidentiality. When I got my pregnancy test result (positive) they didnt take me to a room to tell me in private. Instead I was told at the front desk where people sitting nearby can hear. Then they immediately asked me if I wanted to set an appointment assuming I wanted to terminate when I actually wanted prenatal care (they offered the services there too). I also overheard a staff member speaking to a client and family member in the hallway about how much bleeding to expect after her procedure. It makes me wonder if they have enough rooms there for a private conversation.

Started here to accomplish my hours and let me just say that the staff are bullies . They will bully you because they think you are replacing one of them and do not train you much .

Bonnie nurse practitioner made me feel very comfortable ,other staff are very rude , they look like they dont wanna be there. Especially over the phone trying to get information about test results , and they take days to call you about your information ,customer service very bad.

I had an emergency on a Sunday (morning after pill) They even picked the phones up that day and they took me in the day after. When i walked in there was only 1 person monday morning. Really good for me and super fast!

The nurses and medical assistants were nice, they answered my questions and understood my concerns. The pregnant dr was a sweetie pie. It’s good vibes in there.

Terrible. Had an appointment for 11am and been waiting for over one hour and a half. Apparently, it doesn’t matter what time you have an appointment for.

My experience was amazing, the nurse practitioner that seen me was very concerned about my health and called me after my visit.

The first time I went to this clinic I was young and scared . They made me feel very comfortable. Now 15 years later I’m still very happy with the birth control options and how they treat patients .

Everything was pretty smooth the staff where pretty fluent about what was going on and explaining things to me cus it was first time there all though when I left to say goodbye they just stared at me which was rude but other then that it was fine

Just use birth control or preventative measures because these wait times are beyond absurd. it’s not worth it. knowing that you can’t eat or drink beforehand they should honor appointment times because some of us are prone to fainting.

They do not make you feel welcomed the girl who does the ultrasounds is great and also the doctor but the girls who work in the front desk are awful I wish I never even went there the one in Whittier is way better they are more CALM AND WELCOMING the girl at the front shouldn’t even work there if she doesn’t like her job.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Love that there is a parking lot there. Would definitely recommend this location and it’s services.

If i could give 0 stars i would, the wait time is horrifying they have you waiting for hours in a preop room have you freezing as if your a specimen, i DO NOT RECOMMEND, if anything be prepare to FREEZE YOUR LIFE AWAY.

I HAD SO MANY People tell me about this Abortion clinic but they didnt remember the name. And every time I searched abortion clinic this one NEVER even popped up!! The only places that show up are Anti choice places that dont even do abortions lol

They don’t make you feel welcomed at all. They talk to you like you don’t know your own body. They are rude and it’s noticeable they don’t want to be there.

The wait was too long I scheduled an appointment for 8:15 and I wasnt seen until 11:15! Its really unfair to have to wait that long like whats the use in having an appointment if there not going to follow them !
