I was nervous about coming to WWHM for a consultation after taking an at-home pregnancy test, but I was greeted with friendly, empathetic faces and provided ample information about my options. Fortunately, my initial test was a false-positive and I did not have to follow through with any further care, but the entire staff was incredibly friendly, approachable, and supportive.Protesters stand along the perimeter of the property and shout their beliefs as you pass to and fro from the entrance. So, for anyone dealing with this alone or in a state of distress due to pregnancy, I send you all my strength and love as a barricade for those unwelcome individuals youll see at this time. Escorts are provided and on-site to help.

Horrible!!!! Appointment was at 10:15 am… its currently 1:15pm and i still havent taken the pill. I took this same pill several years ago in miami and it was way quicker. They never mentioned I would have to wait 3+ hours otherwise I wouldn’t have came. I did this same procedure before like I mentioned, in florida is way less time wasting.

It has been the best place I could find. The service is wonderful, they make you feel good from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave.

Awesome people, answered any questions I had and was quick to get back with me.

Everyone here was so nice and Doctor Nelson was so great! I felt no judgement by anyone and they even let me have my boyfriend in for support during the procedure! Everyone made sure I felt comfortable and all my questions were answered. Honestly best health care I’ve ever had, thank you all for what you do!

Everyone was amazing from the time I walked in until I left . They made me feel comfortable. I felt like I was in good hands . I would highly recommend coming here . After my procedure 5 days later was experiencing some pain . I came back and they helped me out . Again everyone was kind and helpful . One of the nurses Kay helped me both times she should honestly be a doctor she was amazing!

Everyone I talked to was extremely friendly and helpful. They answered my questions on the website quickly. The abortion pill was a rough experience in general but they definitely made it more bearable. Definitely more affordable with no health insurance than planned parenthood which I appreciate immensely. I will say I feel like they dont send as much ibuprofen as I think they should, I ran out in 3 days, but the pain stayed for a week but thats not too big of a deal.

Words cannot express how great the women are here. Non judgmental and caring, I went in on Wednesday originally to take the pills but was told from a close friend to do the procedure at the clinic and Im so glad I did. They medicated me and within 10 minutes it was done. I wasnt super groggy afterwards they helped me get comfortable and were very kind and nurturing.

Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and understanding. I wasn’t judged. I wasn’t treated differently. Everyone ensured I understood everything and they were great! Definitely recommend!

This would be my second time here and on both times the staff were super friendly. i had the procedure this time and i was so out of it and barely remember anything but i do know that the staff took care of me and made sure i was doing okay, they never judged me once. they did their best in trying to make it quick and easy for me.

Having had a very personal experience with this medical practice I can say that they were far beyond helpful and exceeded my expectations for compassion and general education in this type of health field. Expect nothing but support and empathy when dealing with anyone from this practice..Safety in education are also a top priority..

This is an absolutely incredible organization. The process for getting an appointment is very simple and straightforward as well as quick (which is very important)! There is always an actual person to assist you via telephone or messenger if needed, and there is even financial assistance if it is needed. The person that I spoke to initially to book the appointment and go over all of the details was actually the exact same person who gave me counseling and assistance later on and I greatly appreciated the consistency! I highly recommend this organization to ANY woman in need of assistance with choosing to discontinue a pregnancy

Went in for what should’ve been a quick and easy procedure. Instead, was drugged with anti anxiety medicine and sat in a waiting room for 5 hours. No updates, no nothing. Just sitting to think about my decision. I arrived at clinic at 9:30 and was told the doctor had something else come up. Like what?! So you leave me in a waiting room to contemplate my decision for 5+ hours? Very unprofessional. Will never ever return. Couldn’t even give me snacks for my wait. Did I mention I’m still pregnant? Very bad experience. Traumatizing to say the least.

To people looking to receive an abortion here:Be your own advocate. If you have insurance make sure they confirm it is eligible before your appointment, if not reschedule and wait until it is. Insist on having a follow up appointment and have it scheduled as soon as you schedule your abortion appointment either with them or your primary care. Sorry you are going through this.My experience:I had an in clinic surgical abortion and a month later I passed placenta tissue and a fetus. This has been the most traumatic thing I have experienced. I thought the pregnancy was removed and that I could move on with life, so I was shocked and mortified when a fetus came out of me. It seems they did not remove the pregnancy at all. It should have been a simple procedure, but they managed to completely mess it up. I did try to schedule a follow up visit a week after my procedure, but the website said none were available so I let it go. This is my biggest regret.Additionally, I sent my insurance over a week before my appointment to be verified, on the website they request that you send it 48hrs before your appointment to be verified. I emailed and called twice to get an update on the status and was told they would have it done in time. The day of my appointment I waited for 3 hours to meet with someone about the payment for the procedure at which point they told me the insurance staff did not confirm my insurance and I would either have to reschedule or pay out of pocket. I decided to pay out of pocket as I didnt want to waste another day sitting around waiting. They said they would send a request to my insurance and I would be reimbursed. I assumed everything would be taken care of. I waited for a week after my appointment and hadnt heard anything, so I called the insurance line and they said my insurance covered it and they would email Virginia to issue me a refund. I was disappointed that I needed to call to initiate this, but I was happy it would be covered. I have continued to call and email so many times to get the process moving, and I shouldnt have had to at all. It has been over two months and I am still waiting for a refund.I understand that insurance and medical institutions can take awhile to process things, but the issue here is the lack of accountability, communication, and initiative. It is heartbreaking that women have to endure a traumatic procedure (sometimes failed, as in my case) and then jump through so many hoops just to get their money back. I hope this isnt something more women have to deal with in the future and the financial/insurance staff make some improvements. Realistically I should have showed up to my appointment knowing I would have coverage as I gave Whole Womans Health far more than their requested amount of time to verify insurance. It also would be wise if the clinic helped women set up follow up appointments after their procedure instead of just sending them on their way. I wish women had better resources than this.

I took my cousin to this clinic instead after reaching the conclusion that the other clinics are too expensive and one of them is a little too unprofessional. Overall the experience was not a bad one. Everyone at this clinic was helpful in one way or another. My cousins only complaint is how stern a nurse reacted the whole time and how another nurse had such a hard time finding her vein that she poked her a couple of times before being able to find a vein. The gynecologist was friendly and professional. There were two nurses that were exceptional staffs and thanks to them my cousins experience with this clinic went smoothly.

Environment is actually better than I’d expected it to be. Very comfortable and welcoming. From the staff I interacted with, they are very friendly and knowledgeable. Oh and they have comfortable seating, which is a plus if you’re waiting quite a bit :)

Couldnt of asked for better support!!! I felt very respected, staff was very kind, everything was done super quick, i have ZERO complaints. Very appreciative of each staff memeber I spoke with, 10 out 10 recommend!!!

At first they were amazing. When you walked in they had people escorting you to the proper floor to the building. They support you when you are there but when you get in contact with them later they are the worst. My insurance covered the procedure, and they were going to bill my insurance. I had to go through someone named Virginia and never got a response back from her. This has been on going since august. They were to issue me a refunded check and it would take about 90 days until I received it. It’s now January and I have no seen it. Every time I call and ask about it they try and transfer me over to her which never gets anywhere. I’ve sent multiple emails to both the staff there as well as the women I was told I had to go to because that was her department. Then a couple weeks ago I decided to call again because I still didn’t receive anything. I’ve been put in multiple “manager” group Emails and still nothing was processed. It’s frustrating because it’s already a hard thing to go through and even worse when you can’t get through to people who have continuously said they will be there to help even after the appointment.

The staff is encouraging and helpful, supportive, knowledgeable. I was told that my doctor has been in practice for 35 years and that experience was definitely reflected in my procedure. Highly recommend, great staff and comfortable environment.

Staff was very friendly over the phone. Answered all my questions bi had a lot. Asked them over and over again and I appreciated their patience. I also appreciated the privacy. This was a health decision for me but there still was a lot of support if it was for other reasons.

Very rushed and advocates and counselors are not properly trained to offer anything other than a scripted speech. Privacy is not a concern hete, they will call toy by 1st and last name in a full waiting room. When you have post procedure issues. They treat them very casually. I would recommend seeking a different twin Cities clinic.. Update; after my procedure I was hang complications and called the on call nurse who essentially brushed off my concerns and didnt even really listen to me. I told her I would go to the er. While at the er I was informed my procedure was incomplete after blood work and an exam I went through another traumatic dnc. I was contacted by the same nurse today and when I told her what happened she was quick to state the hospital must have been wrong. Irrelevant. However when I expressed my discontent with her and stated theyd not be getting a positive review from me, her tone changed and she attempted to bully and pressure me to not leave any negative feedback. However that would be an injustice to other women gong through something like this. Its a bit of a drive but I would recommend Red River Womans Clinic in Fargo. Ive had my own advocacy clients go there and I have accompanied 2 patients there as well, the experience was much different in a positive way. The staff was more knowledgeable and werent scripted. They did not have trainees watching.

My appointment today was at 10:45, sat there for 5 1/2 hours. I couldn’t sit any longer due to children at home. So I had to take the medication form which something I didn’t want to do. If you can go else where I would.

Definitely would NOT recommend. After being Lied to flat out by staff, argued with, I was treated poorly and had a HORRIBLE experience. Id go ANYWHERE but here. They made it very clear their only concern is $$ and not that of the patient. Very rude uneducated staff!!!

A friend of mine scheduled an appointment at this clinic but called to canceled her appointment because she changed her mind. I overheard the conversation and the person on the phone was a GEM! They didnt force my friend to get the procedure like most pro-lifers had portrayed in the media, instead they offered their best wishes to my friend and said something like we wish you a healthy pregnancy and only you know whats best for you. They even offered her reputable resources for prenatal and maternity care but my friend declined since she had an OBGYN. Overall, this clinic does a wonderful job being supportive of their patients decision! I took away one star because the building that theyre in has a few protestors outside and they can get verbally aggressive and would accused any women, who are seeking non-OBGYN care, from other clinics as murderers or would try to stop these people from heading to their appointment like they tried to do with my mom, who was a patient at Davita.

Just scheduled an abortion consultation. You need to give the guy that answers the phone a raise! He’s awesome, personable, and made me feel very comfortable. Overall exceptional service!

I went here for an abortion. The staff was great, a warm welcoming environment. The abortion didn’t hurt at all. However, 2 days after the abortion I started to get very sharp pains in my abdomen and back, and I started to pass large clots. I was bleeding a lot and I ended up having to go to the ER. The iud was not able to be found and there was lots of blood with possible retained product. Meaning that the abortion was possibly incomplete. I was almost sent to another hospital to get everything removed immediately. But my vitals were good and my blood count was ok. I was sent home. And wast told to call Whole womens health back Monday, so I called back 2 days later. Monday, and talked to a lady on the phone about my symptoms. She was telling me that my symptoms were normal, and that I had nothing to worry about, my iud was most likely placed in correctly, and the people in the Er don’t know what’s normal when you’re recovering from an abortion and that it was probably covered by what WWH said I was “normal amount of bleeding” in the ultrasound. She was essentially downplaying my extreme sharp pains in my back and uterus. Not her fault, she just didn’t understand how much pain I was in and all the bleeding. She told me that she’d prefer me to come back instead of seeing an OBGYN because they don’t know much about abortions and stuff related because they’re not abortion experts, which made sense but I went to see an OBGYN anyways. When I went to see an OBGYN, they did another ultrasound and scan and there WAS retained product (incomplete abortion) AND my IUD was upside down in my uterus. I do have to say, this place was great, maybe it was an accident, or a slip up because I was super early into the pregnancy (7-8 weeks). But I was more displeased with the nurse I had talked to. This I was not normal side effects, and now I have to pay almost 2,000 extra dollars on top of the 615 for the abortion fee because I had to go to the ER. But the service was amazing, it wasn’t their fault the iud moved and I’d definitely suggest this place for abortion care at an affordable cost :)

When it comes to health, being a woman. Its important to check as you age. Great and Absolute hospitality. Care and nurturing.

Do not trust Whole womens health. Ask to see your ultrasound first! I have been told that the procedures and the abortion pill are EXTREMELY PAINFUL. Please research this before you decide. Please know the facts!!!
