Ive been going here for ~20 years and I will never go back. After my very first pregnancy ultrasound, no providers were able to meet with me. I was told someone would call me and do a virtual visit that evening and no one ever called. If I didnt advocate for myself, I would have zero additional prenatal visits scheduled. No one from Southdale OBGYN has followed up since that day. Ive transferred my prenatal care and its been the best decision Ive ever made.

Dr. Almdale is hands down one of the best doctors I have ever gone to, she respects, listens and makes you feel heard. I am so grateful for everything that she has done and would recommend her to everyone!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Swigert for over 20 years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a tremendous doctor who always stays up to date with the latest advances in women’s health. Dr. Swigert takes the time to listen and provide thoughtful, thorough care, and her professionalism and compassion make every visit a positive experience. Dr. Meschke was thorough, thoughtful, and empathetic in her approach to my care. She took ample time to listen to and address each and every of my concerns. I felt heard and am confident in her and her ability to partner with me in my care.

I had a great appointment with Dr. Jaqua. I have atypical PCOS and he answered all my questions and went through my blood test results very thoroughly. I personally prefer not to be on a birth control (no problems with it, just a personal preference) and he provided me with an alternative medication that fit what I was looking for. Incredibly knowledgeable, I definitely reccomend Dr. Jaqua and this location. The facility was clean and nursing staff/front desk staff were kind and helpful.

I wanted to share this review for awareness and to hopefully encourage changes to be made so this situation doesnt happen to anyone else!I had been receiving my routine health/medical care from Southdale OBGYN since 2021 and was a satisfied patient of the clinic. In November 2023, I started pursuing an infertility work up since I hadnt been able to conceive in 12+ months of trying. I was at the Edina clinic for a required pregnancy test prior to an HSG. I had just finished my period and fully anticipated a negative test. I gave my urine sample and went to the lab as the nurse had instructed and there she told me to have a seat and wait for the test results. There was only one other patient in the lab with me at the time. Very quickly, the test was done and the nurse walked over and shoved the test in my face without saying a word. I looked at her in confusion and she said Its positive. I was in total shock. She asked if I was expecting this and I said No, I just had my period and Im here for an HSG, this makes no sense. But of course I want it to be positive. She handed me the test and went to get a doctor. They pulled me from the lab and into a room and I was told that I was going to be getting a blood draw to check my HCG levels and Dr. Swigert stopped by the room and told me that bleeding in early pregnancy can be normal. I sat there holding this positive pregnancy test (with my name on it!) and was thinking this was crazy, but amazing, and had already started to plan how I was going to tell my husband that we were finally pregnant! Ultimately, Dr. Lewis came in the room and told me that the nurse had tested the wrong urine sample, and that the very positive pregnancy test in my hand...wasnt actually mine. I didnt ask for more details on how this could have happened, because now I was in shock all over again...now with the fact that I actually wasnt pregnant after all, and that instead I was holding someone elses pee in my hands. I assume it belonged to the one other woman who had been in the lab with me. I am currently receiving infertility treatment elsewhere because this mix up was very upsetting for me and made me lose trust in my care through Southdale OBGYN.To this day, that is still the only positive pregnancy test that Ive ever held, and it wasnt even actually mine. I understand that mistakes happen, but unfortunately this mistake is now a permanent part of my journey in trying to start a family.Ultimately, I am hoping that measures are being put in place to prevent mix ups of patient samples like this, ESPECIALLY when you are telling someone struggling with infertility that they are pregnant, when theyre really not. This was a mistake that resulted in a deep level of disappointment that will stick with me for a very long time.

Nicole is the best. She listens, empathizes, and truly cares about you as a person and holistically. She is my favorite doctor to go see. I feel so comfortable sharing my concerns, knowing she will take me seriously.

Dr. Koidahl is amazing! She put me us CB at ease and made conversation so easy. She is incredibly knowledgeable and explains things in a way that anyone can understand!

These doctors are some of my favorite of all time. It feels like you are going to check in with a female friend, who is also your doctor. The are professional, but take time to listen to you and answer questions you have. They are friendly and want to make you feel at home, rather than just feeling like you are at the doctor.

I have seen Dr Curran for about 20 years. Never rushes and always is very thorough. He is so personable that I am always at ease during the exam. A true gentlemen.

Nicki has been great to work with for both of my pregnancies. The handful of times I have seen other providers, they have been wonderful as well. Lab and front desk staff are pleasant to work with. All around a good experience and I am grateful.

Dr. Curran is great! He is kind and gentle and answers all questions. I never feel like Im being rushed out.

Great staff! Clean. Very welcoming and caring every step of the way. Dr. Harris is a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10! She explained everything about the procedure as she went through it. I knew Exactly what next steps were and the follow-up was exemplary. I was cared for as an important patient. I would Highly recommend Dr. Harris and Southdale ObGyn at the Edina location! My wife and I went through an entire pregnancy with Southdale ObGyn and our experience was fantastic. The front office staff are friendly and enjoy getting to know your story along the way. Their Edina office is also walking distance from where we delivered at MHealth Fairview Southdale Hospital. Their office is easy to access and we always found parking. The team of doctors is vast and knowledgeable. My wife and I found it value to get to know a few of them to hear different perspectives and make scheduling easier. Thank you Amanda and Denae specifically for your warmth and support! Highly recommend.

Dr. Heupfel was extemely helpful. She didnt seem rushed at all and was very kind, patience and answered all my questions and covered lots of options. I hate trying to find new providers and I was so glad she turned out to be so great!

I love Southdale ObGyn! Every member of the team there is great but I especially loved my doctor who delivered my baby last week, Dr. Leigh Koidahl. Dr. Koidahl always made us feel so comfortable and supported throughout my pregnancy through our delivery. I feel so blessed by my entire journey working with Southdale ObGyn! Went to get a skin tag removed and the process was extremely painful it felt like she cut before she applied the lidocaine shot? She didnt explain much. Then I was sent home with no suggestions on pain management or wound care for the stitches. I had to guess that they would dissolve. When the spot healed it seems like maybe she cut into the actual skin tag and stitched it, so after all of that I still have a skin tag (though smaller). I will not be returning to this clinic.

Dr. Huepfel is the best! She is so kind, caring, loving, gentle, and sweet to her patients. Highly recommend!

Dr. Johnathan Jaqua is the absolute best doctor to work with in the entire world! This man has gone above and beyond to help me in many ways with my health care. Dr. Jaqua listens with compassion and hears my concerns, he never makes me feel as he doesnt have enough time to spend going through things with me. Dr. Jaqua saved my life when it came to my endometriosis and how sick I was. He understood from the moment we met that I needed help and I needed it fast, so that I could get my quality of life back to take care of my miracle baby I was so blessed to finally have. If I wouldnt have found Dr. Jaqua 11years ago my life wouldnt be what it is today. There will never be enough words to thank him for all of his understanding and help with my health care over the past 11 years. He is truly a blessing to have for a doctor and I would recommend him for a doctor anytime. The whole southdale team is truly amazing!

Dr. Harris always takes TIME to speak with us. She listens, gives options, pays attention to our wishes and provides excellent care.

I have been going to Southdale ObGyn for nearly 30 years. In that time I have seen primarily 1 doctor but over time 3 different doctors there and all were outstanding. Each one very thorough, caring, and personable!

My wife received her pregnancy care through Southdale OBGyn this year. We cant say enough good things about the midwife staff here. Top notch care, facilities, planning, and communication. Theres no question, go here if youre growing your own family!

I’ve been going here a long time. They are organized, friendly, helpful, and they explain everything they are doing and why. I will continue to see the doctors here as I feel 100% confident about the quality of care I receive. Dr. Jonathon Jaqua has great bedside manners and communication skills. He is a wonderful doctor.

Our experience with Southdale OBGYN has been excellent since, day one. They have helped us with initial infertility issues to labor/delivery of our child and aftercare. The providers specifically Danae Nurse Midwife and Dr. Harris were excellent along with all the staff. The office staff, US/imaging clinicians, nurses and CAs have been wonderful to work with.

I have had the best experiences so far - everyone is so kind and accommodating, all the way from schedulers and receptionists to technicians and practitioners. Highly recommend!

My OB GYN retired so I saw Dr. Lindsay Lewis at the same Southdale OBGyn clinic in Edina for my annual woman’s health check (post-menopausal). Dr. Lewis was a delight: so knowledgeable, informative, friendly, professional, and interested in me. She also had gentle technique with her exam. She’s my new doctor!

I’ve had 2 pregnancy’s here at Southdale OBYGN and always got the best care. Unfortunately my last pregnancy didn’t make it to birth but I felt Dr.Koidahl was there with me every step of the way through one of the most tragic experiences. She really went above and beyond to give me the best care. Everyone there was also wonderful as well, thank you

75% of the doctors here are great, the other 25% need to work on their bias towards fat people and how they approach care. The doctor that delivered my baby via c section was AMAZING. I wish she practiced elsewhere because unfortunately I don’t think I can return here. More often than not my experiences dealing with their nurse hotline has left me shaking in tears. Like way more than it should.Their postpartum care was awful and made me feel like I was only there for the money they could get from my ins for the birth…I was 3 months postpartum and nursing, I got mastitis, this was my second time getting it so I knew what was happening. I called to make an immediate appointment and was told very RUDELY that I couldn’t because I had an outstanding past due balance. This has already been paid but the nurse refused to believe me and told me to go to a random urgent care instead. I was fuming, I had my multiple past due balances DURING my pregnancy and they never refused me then but as soon as that baby was out they were so ready to drop me. They did this to me when I was extremely vulnerable and at the peak of adjusting to being a new mother. They called me the next day to apologize there was an issue in their system and I could indeed make an appointment. The whole thing left a very bad feeling about them as a business.

Edit- Billing office continues to treat patients as nothing other than a number and someone to get money from. Anytime you ask for help or questions they respond with a tone that implies they could care less about helping. The billing office for Southdale OBGYN needs a lesson in customer service from their providers and rest of staff as they are all amazing- the billing office will be the reason and the only reason I search for care elsewhere.5 stars to all the nurses and doctors- they are all so great to work with and you feel as though they truly want to help with any questions or concerns you have.2.5 stars to the billing office...it is truly one of the worst I have ever had to deal with. And I am not speaking on a single experience, I am speaking of multiple over 10 years of going to this clinic. They generally are hard to get a hold of, extremely rude or unhelpful when you do and will pass along as much of the work to you as possible. For example, a clinic should be able to provide you with a estimate of cost for you and instead of this they simply say heres the code we will bill, you gotta call your insurance yourself, this is the only clinic I have ever been too that handles estimates like this. The clinic and doctors are fantastic, but if you ever have to deal with the billing department... best of luck to you.

Nikki Dishong is one of the best providers Ive ever had. She made my birth exceptional. Her patience and belief in my ability made all the difference. She is truly a special and wonderful person and I cant wait to go back to her for my next birth!All the midwives are fantastic, as well. I havent seen any OBs but the midwives really fulfilled all my needs.

This is the best clinic I have ever been to. The staff is SO friendly! Dr. Lindsay Lewis is extremely personable and answered all of my questions. I have had so many issues in the past finding a good provider. It feels good to know I will continue receiving great care from great people here! Highly recommend!

After decades of painful periods Dr. Huepfel made my hysterectomy dreams come true! She is knowledgeable in multiple surgery styles and tailored my surgery for me. Many surgeons just stick to one method, regardless of what is best for the patient. I couldn’t be happier.

Dr. Almdale was awesome. Extremely comfortable with her. She was thorough but gentle. She recommended a medication that I had not known about, it helped me very quickly. Helped me out tremendously! I am usually anxious when doing the annual checkup, she put me at ease. Thank you!

I have been going to Southdale OB/GYN for 40 years. That is right! They delivered all 3 of my sons and taken care of me for 40 years and Dr. Duquette, Dr. Stark and Dr. Crandall were and are extraordinary women Drs. who have cared for me throughout my entire life. I could not have asked for better Drs and Friends throughout my OB and Gyne journeys. The care and attention I have received have kept me healthy and feeling like we are family/great team!

I went to this clinic throughout my second pregnancy including delivery. The delivery of my first child was very traumatic and this clinic worked to ease my anxiety and the birth of my second child was calm and comfortable. Dr. Harris delivered my daughter and I just saw her again after two years and she remembered me and was extremely kind. I have seen many of the providers in the clinic and they are all excellent, as well as the nursing staff and front desk.

I absolutely love Southdale OBGYN-Edina. The experience is warm and welcoming the moment you walk through the door (from the ladies at the front desk, medical assistants, ultrasound techs, and of course my AMAZING midwife Nikki D.) This is my first pregnancy and Nikki has made this such a beautiful experience for me. She makes me feel very comfortable and she listens to my concerns. Nikki is so sweet, I definitely plan on her being my provider again if I’m fortunate to have baby #2.

I was incredibly nervous for my first ever exam, but the nurses and staff were all wonderful and comforting. Lizzie walked me through everything that was going to happen and while it was happening. She also clearly cared about my whole health and wellbeing, not just specific areas. Definitely can see myself using this clinic long term!

I switched over to Southdale from a previous clinic. I have nothing but good things to report in terms of care. During my miscarriage the doctors, midwives and admins always made me feel like I mattered and went above and beyond to ease my anxiety during a really difficult time. Almost every practice I have been to has had to rotate practitioners if you need an appointment on a moments notice and it is comforting to know that no matter who you get, you are cared for. I have some high risk components to my health and they are very knowledgeable and do not dismiss my concerns.

Nicole Dishong is the best provider I’ve ever worked with. She’s knowledgeable, personable, and funny. She makes me feel like a friend, not just another patient. I’ve seen many other providers at Southdale OBGYN throughout two pregnancies and all have been good. I would definitely recommend this group.

I had an amazing experience at Southdale OB/GYN. The entire staff are always kind & efficient. Towards the end of my pregnancy I saw the nurses often & they were always the nicest & remembered me - even at my 6 week postpartum check up! My questions were always answered & everything was always thoroughly explained. My midwife Nicole was AMAZING & she helped me deliver my beautiful little girl.

I went here during my first pregnancy and will continue to go for regular/annual care and any future pregnancies. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. Dr Almadale is kind and has a very positive vibe.I briefly met her before and after my c section as she was the on call doctor that day.I met her again in my 6 week pp appointment during which she patiently listened to all our questions and concerns.I highly recommend Dr Meshke and Dr Almadale,both are AMAZING!

Dr Leigh Koidahl is extremely personable. She takes the time to listen to her patients and explains the benefits and risks of all the treatment options. I have had a positive experience at every appointment and fully trust Dr. Koidahl with my OBGYN care. The nurses, medical assistants, lab staff and registration associates are all very professional, friendly, and helpful as well.

I have been going to Southdale OBGYN for 38 years. My original doctors who were absolutely wonderful have both retired, I now have a new wonderful Doctor which I like very much. If you are looking for a place that treats you right, that will be there for you every step of the way with pregnancy or anything else female related then this is the place for you.Do not hesitate they are the best!!!

I’ve mainly been seen by Nikki Dishong, who is so personable and caring - I really can’t say enough good things about her but all the healthcare professionals I’ve worked with have been great! Coming here was honestly the best doctor’s office experience I have ever had. I dread coming to the doctor because I feel like they never listen to me and hurry me along. This was not my experience here. Krista was very personable, willing to listen to my concerns, and helped me make a workable (and wholistic) plan towards better health. I am very impressed!

Ive been at southdale ObGyn for almost three years. I started using their practice during my last trimester with my son. They are wonderful. I float around with doctors and always have a good experience, even with post delivery complications. I recently found a lump and my doctor was so caring and non-dismisive with quick referral. The majority of doctors I have seen also always start by asking how I am and seem to care about my mental health as well as gyno needs. Highly recommend.

Dr Jaqua is a wonderful and skilled surgeon. I needed a hysterectomy and he was kind, reassuring and took the time to answer all my questions. So grateful for Dr Davenport in being decisive at diagnosing me promptly. All staff is wonderful, thank you! I have now referred my daughter to their care since I know they are excellent

I’m not sure where to even begin. I’ll start with the fact that there seems to always be a lack of communication between staff therefore resulting in constantly something going wrong whenever I visited. It was never a smooth enjoyable process coming to my appointments, receptionist never knew why I was there,nurses would forget to do what the doctor said they were gonna do,and the doctors seemed very un-interested and never answered any of my questions or concerns. This is my first pregnancy and I am new to everything so I have a lot concerns and questions so being dismissed really made it known that we weren’t being taken seriously.My fiancé and I came here because we were told good things about the staff and unfortunately we just never were able to experience that. I will say that we didn’t stick with just one doctor or midwife we were introduced to several on both ends and less than a handful of them seemed personable or like if they truly cared for us.

My experience has been the complete opposite of the other reviewers! I dont have anything bad to say, really. When I walked in, the staff were really friendly, chatting with me about the weather and the holidays. And the review that mentioned the outdated decor is not valid anymore, as it looks like they just went through a renovation. It looked modern and nice to me!I waited maybe 5 minutes after filing out my paperwork. The nurses were good at explaining the reason/necessity for each of the tests - which I very much appreciate because at other doctors offices its not always the case.When it was time for me to meet with my doctor, she was really personable - chatting about things that have changed in my life since the last I visited, and the other usual questions. She made sure all my questions were answered, and I didnt feel rushed out of the office. I hate when doctors make you feel like they are late for their next patient.When it came time for my results, one of the nurses called me. She left a message as I couldnt pick up, and just said to call back. When I spoke with her she said she prefers to talk vs sending an email or leaving a message because she didnt want the results to be misunderstood. Everything was fine, but I could see how if she had left a message I may have panicked a bit. I really appreciated that the nurse made the effort to speak with me directly.Overall I had a great experience. I will keep returning!

I highly recommend Dr. Huepfel along with many of the other providers at Southdale OBGYN. She is skilled and knowledgeable while also being relatable and compassionate. I was on the verge of breaking down into tears when I found out my baby was unexpectedly breach at nearly 40 weeks but I felt incredibly confident that I would be in good hands with Dr. Huepfel performing my c-section. So much so that I changed my hospital plan just so that I could have her perform the surgery. I now have a beautiful baby boy delivered without complications thanks to her!

I would highly recommend Dr. Almdale to any woman who is in the market for a new OBGYN provider! Her calm disposition and friendly personality always makes me feel at ease. Shes very thorough when talking through what will be done during an exam and always listens when expressing any concerns I may have.

Dr. Margolis made my experience so much better than any other OBGYN I have gone to. She was extremely welcoming, caring, supportive and patient. She didnt rush through our appt and spent thorough time going over all my questions/concerns/history. She made the experience very comfortable. I am very grateful to have found her for my OGBYN.

I couldn’t recommend Niki, or Southdale ObGyn enough. I moved out of state and I still keep them for my annual visits! The staff is incredibly welcoming and the office environment is exactly what you’d want. I’ve been with Niki for years and I’m continually impressed by how personable and warm she is. This clinic and group of providers, nurses and staff are all amazing! Seamless care! I have recently been seeing Dr Curran and Dr Davenport.. both excellent providers. All lab staff and admin are wonderful as well! Ultrasound staff is also so professional and personable!

The midwife team here is AMAZING. If you want the best care, see one of them. You will feel so heard and cared for.

I can’t talk about Southdale Obgyn without getting emotional. They have treated me as a young women, thru a miscarriage, a high risk pregnancy, a birth, regular check ups, para menopausal and now menopause. I’m so grateful for the amazing care no matter whom I see!

All of the staff are always very friendly and professional. Scheduling is always easy and convenient. All of the providers I have seen have been great but Dr. Lewis is my favorite and I feel very comfortable talking to her and asking questions.

I have been going to this clinic for a little over 5 years now and have had nothing but positive experiences with them. The staff, nurses and doctors have all been helpful and kind and encouraging through all 3 of my pregnancies. They suggested that I see multiple doctors throughout each pregnancy so you get to know many of them and have a better chance at having a Dr. you actually know deliver your baby. I love this idea, Ive been seen by every Dr at the clinic and have been to both the Burnsville and Edina locations, I cant say anything bad about anyone of them. I trust them to provide the best care for me and my baby and will continue to go to this clinic after the third child is born for regular check-ups. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

She heard out and empathized with my frustrations.Since then, I have had smooth sailing with appointment scheduling, office visits and treatment. I even underwent a minor outpatient surgery with Dr Harris and was very pleased with the entire experience.

I actually have my appointments at the Burnsville office (not Edina). I have always been very satisfied with my gynecologist, Dr. Liz Crandall. She has been my provider for over 20 yrs and has always been friendly, thorough, and reassuring. She is an Excellent Doctor!!

Terrible - if you consider the staff, nurses and the other people who you need to work with.Good - Experience with the doc was goodBut unfortunately, you need to get through the staff to get to a doctor. I left several messages for the nurses for test results, pain, other issues I faced during pregnancy and never managed to get a call back. I managed to reach a nurse once (after staying on the phone for about 30 minutes), who said thats how they work here. I was treated like a part on an assembly line.Even when I had concern with insurance related details, it was a Herculean task to finally get to talk to someone who understands what you are saying. The usual answer if talk to your insurance. Well, damn, the insurance people are on the phone and they need to talk to some one who can make sense!!One more unique experience: I had to ask for tests etc. After the request the typical response was yes, we can do that and that will help confirm .... Do I need to do that? Yes. Why didnt you suggest this? No idea! I sometimes got confused on my role with his clinic.Overall a very bad experience, and decided it was no worth going through all this trouble especially when I am pregnant. Changed clinics and am happy. Avoid this place if at all possible. If not, check with someone you know who has been here before you make a choice.

On my third hyperemesis pregnancy and I have never been treated with such efficient care coordination. By end of the same day I called to say I needed help I was receiving my first home health care visit and establishing home IV fluids. Thank you so much nurse Nicole and Dr. Davenport and Dr Lewis.

Collected copay when my insurance covers everything 100%.Very disorganized for new patients..very frustrated with my experience. ..They were late doing ultrasound and than cancel ob appt last minute. I took day off work just for my appts....waited in office pretty much all day to be seen by another dr...almost 22 weeks and there was no consideration for the inconvenience. ..How can one trust them with delivering a being in timely fashion?

I conceived last november. Consulted a different clinic for few months and wasnt happy so moved over to southdale obgyn. During mid pregnancy I was really worried to move to a new clinic but the doctors, nurses and the staff at the clinic enabled a flawless transition. My first appointment was in burnsville with Dr Torres. Even though she didnt she speak much but I could feel her warmth and compassion towards her patients. I moved to Edina clinic which was near my home, where I got a chance to meet Dr Davenport, Dr Harris, Dr Mischke, Dr Koidahl, Dr Stark , Dr Tweedy and Dr Swigert during the course of my pregnancy. Meeting one Dr after another I couldnt stop myself feeling how amazing and truly exceptional they all were. At the end my dd was delivered by Dr Swigert and she made sure that I was given the best possible care. She is truly a rockstar!!Last but not the least the nurses and office staff was also very caring and supportive.. Thanks Southdale Obgyn team!!

Not a good experience the second time around... They delivered our first baby and all was great but this time were waiting 15-20 minutes just to talk to a nurse who often doesnt actually have the information we need. In addition, there isnt much continuity in who youre seeing and theres a decent chance you will not have worked with the doctor who delivers your baby.The decision to leave their practice was solidified when one of their NPs delivered some test results so poorly that she basically left us sitting there for a couple minutes thinking things were really wrong. In the end, the news was delivered that actually everything was fine but I had to actually clarify whether there was a huge problem or it was just a fluke false positive. You would think a trained NP would lead with the result and then touch on the fluke result rather than letting us think we were getting really terrible news...All in all, Id look elsewhere.

My worst experience so far.I asked by phone prior to making an appointment whether they do specific blood tests, whether I will be seen by a DraDr orsor aea nurse practitioner, etc. They said yes to all the matters important to me. When I came for a visit turned out that whoever made my appointment misunderstood me and they dont do this. So frustrating, is I didnt even check for other options and it was critical for me to have my baby 20w anatomy scan. I did an appointment when I was 17 weeks if I knew that Southlake OBGYn dont do that then I would look for other doctors and would not waste my time on preparing/ sending all the new patient paperwork/requesting my old OBGYn work to be forwarder to them. I am so frustrated now and upset, I hope being this emotional is not gonna harm my baby.

If you are going to this office about fertility questions, dont. I was given a packet about different tests and told to call back a certain intervals for tests. No description of what the tests were for or what theyd show...just a big blue folder. I waited 30 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start for the provider to spend 15 minutes with me of the 45 that the appointment was supposed to be. The visit felt rushed and disingenuine. Very disappointed.

Have been going to Southdale OBGYN for 10+ years and would highly recommend it to anyone! All of the providers are knowledgeable and helpful. Office staff is quick to answer patient portal messages which is my preferred method of asking Qs or requesting appointments.

Nikki Dishong is amazing and I love her! Best provider I’ve ever had and there’s no one else I would want delivering my babies. Her presence is warm and loving.

Dr Koidahl and Dr Huepfel are wonderful. They remember you and take great care of your concerns. I have met with several other doctors at the Edina location and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend them.

Excellent customer service starting at check in and my experience with Dr. Huepful was superior. They also called me in response to a message in my chart right away; i highly recommend.

They seemed rushed and unenthused. Due to their error in measurement and judgement, they misdiagnosed my child with several scary diseases for which I had to see a specialist once a week. They didnt listen when I told them I had been leaking amniotic fluid for days (I made several calls), so when I went in for a checkup they saw my child had no fluid around her and I had to be induced that morning. She was born perfectly healthy, nothing wrong thank God. You can imagine that it was a horrible first pregnancy experience for me.

Nicole Deshong, CNM, part of the Southdale OBGYN team of providers, is caring and compassionate. She really takes the time to listen and get to know her patients.

Lizzie is one of the best care providers I’ve ever had. She goes above and beyond for her clients and truly cares. 10/10

They encourage not to get attached to a particular provider having the concept that at the time of delivery is very likely that your doctor won’t be on duty anyway. But if you really want to see the same provider each time, they will do it. Further more they seem to be so keen to give work to Certified Nurse Practitioners (CNP) that for the first appointment (usually between 8-10 weeks of pregnancy) they default you to a CNP. I didn’t care who I saw for my first pregnancy because it was low risk, nice and boring and as long as it was kept taht way, my priority was to fit best my work schedule. Now I am pregnant with my second and had some vaginal discharge that I wanted to be checked before the 8 week first check-up. I was scheduled to see a CNP, which I didn’t frown upon. Swab was taken, lab results came positive and they called my home number even though I have asked repeatedly to change my records to show my cell phone as a primary phone number. So I missed the call they’ve initiated. I follow-ed up with a call to discuss results. I was prescribed to take some antibiotics and an over the counter antifungal. I am one of those that I’d rather endure a headache than take a med if it doesn’t totally skew my life. So naturally, being pregnant and more concerned than usual (and after googling some information about the meds), I wanted to discuss more about the risk of taking the prescribed medication vs leaving infection untreated for a while (at least pass the first trimester). I asked specifically to have a MD to call me, to have a kind of a second opinion and to get through the ton of questions and concerns about the treatment that I did not have the chance to ask at the time of appointment since the lab results were not known. I could not pass the nurse on duty. She kind of liaised my questions and waited to be called back. And she did (the nurse), though during our conversation she put me on hold three times because other emergency calls (she was the only one to take on the calls). Every time she came back she had the same story and my questions and concerns were not addressed. Then finally I have been invited to schedule another appointment if I wanted to. I changed my obgyn clinic the very same day and had an appointment with a MD and addressed my concernes.

Dr.Lewis is amazing and I’m really looking forward to this pregnancy with her guidance. She made me feel comfortable talking to her about my medical history and already gave me options to help me feel better

One of the best visits I have had! What a treasure! I received some common sense advise. I did not feel rushed or hurried. I would definitely see Nicky again.

Had an appointment at 3 was in there before then... the nurses were super nice and compassionate didnt feel rushed at all. All my questions were answered. They send the paperwork ahead of time so I didnt have to sit around filling out stuff ... Great experience.

I went to the yearly preventive visit but they charged me as a sick visit .. and telling them about hair loss considered as sick visit ..how funny .. very irresponsible people .m they dont even want to let you know at the time of visit about their charges..when my insurance requested them to change the code to preventive visit they denied .. this doctors office is a scam .. please dont consider visiting this place .. u will be charged for unnecessary things ..beware
