This is my second review talking about my second appointment. My first review is under the same name but different google account.Second appointment done. Had about a two hour wait for 39 patients total that day, one doctor in house. It’s not so bad considering the website said to expect a 4-6 hour wait on busier days. I just watched the TV that they had on in each waiting room. I even took a nap sometimes lol. During waiting you do an ultrasound and take 4 pills for the procedure. 2 Tylenol, another to help with bleeding, and the last one was the sedative. The ladies were still super nice as usual (nothing new there) as well as the escorts. Actually, one guy who was an escort checked in on us every few minutes while we were in the waiting room, even offering us Gatorade, which I thought was super sweet. I had a nice chat with him after as I was waiting for my ride to pick me up. He made sure I stayed out of sight of the protesters so they wouldn’t pester me. What a kind man, he definitely deserves recognition. Anyway, since I was about 6 weeks in my pregnancy, the procedure took only 5 minutes. I was able to hold the nurse’s hand while the doctor did her thing, which was nice. I felt short pains when the speculum (duck bill thing) was being inserted and also when she was numbing up my area. The pains literally lasted one second so it wasn’t bad at all. Other than that, the procedure didn’t feel weird. After I was done, they took me to a room full of recliners and handed me a heating pad to rest on top of my pelvic area. Like what??? I had no idea they would treat me this nicely. It helped so much with the cramping. I forgot to mention that there is cramping during and post-procedure. It’s light and feels like a period cramp. Nothing unusual. Ladies, I highly recommend going to this place. You will definitely be taken cared of.

I love this place! They love their patients and they treat women with respect and kindness. I was disheartened to see protesters screaming at me and the other patients when I came for my abortion in 2013, but once I got in the door I was greeted with a smile and treated with dignity. The procedure was simple and I have never regretted my decision for a second. Since my abortion, I have started volunteering as a clinic defender helping women get past the gauntlet of angry, hateful protesters because the protesters were the ONLY negative part of my abortion experience.

This clinic is amazing! They were incredibly professional and caring and I felt valued as a patient. My only concern is the people who stand outside to harass people as they seek health care treatment. The clinic does have amazing volunteers but i wish those rude people that shout would just go home.

The faculty and staff are amazing as well as the escorts outside and doctor that come in! The process was made as easy as possible by the friendly nurses who talked to me and they gave me plenty of time for the medicine to kick in. I never could’ve done it without them!

I chose to have an abortion in sumer 2015. I picked this facility because it was closest to where I lived. I deeply regret that decision. The receptionist was kind and the intake nurse was sweet as well. The waiting room was small and crowded, but that is to be expected. The nightmare started when the doctor adressed the room full of ladies and explained the procedure and how everything would happen. Myself and 5 other ladies had not arrived yet and thus missed this presentation. The doctor had apparently left it up to a patient to inform the rest girls that came in afterwards of what to expect. I never heard a word of the explanation and had no idea what was going on. Terrified and alone, every person I encountered after that was cold and rude. The doctor and bedside nurse were the worst. They ignored me when I asked questions about what was going to happen and what to expect. Rude does not even begin to describe them. I laid there tears streaming wondering how and why a human could be so unempathetic and cruel to someone in such a compromised state. I was is no way prepared for the pain. My boyfriend said he could hear my screams from the lobby. I had to beg the nurse to hold my hand as the doctor screamed at me to stop crying. Yes, beg, she refused at first time. The doctor was a monter of a man. He told me it wasnt his fault that I didnt know what to expect because he had told one of the other patients to tell me. He told me to suck it up and stop crying because I was making his job harder. After the pregnancy was removed, he forced me to look at it and said to get my life in order. I am a 23 year old adult , clean, and attending a 4 year university. He made me feel like I had zero worth whatsoever. What should have take 3-5 minutes took 7-9 because I couldnt stop crying. The physical pain was intense, but the lack the humane treatment is what made me go into hysterics. If you can avoid this doctor, do so at all costs. He was a foreigner with what sounded like a south african accent maybe. He is not black, but rather an olive brown of unknown decent. As for the rest of the staff, I have no major complaints. But it is not them you need to treat you well. Its the nurse and the doctor that make the difference. My procedure was a nightmare that has left a deep emotional scare.

I’d like to say that the staff was kind and I mean all of them they even offered snacks now as for the medicine that they give you it either needs to be a higher dosage or they should wait or give it to the patients earlier because it did absolutely nothing before the procedure now as for the nurse with the brown or black hair kind of Asian I guess she was rude as hell and I believe had no idea what she was doing she told me to stop crying but i’d Like to ask her what does she do when she’s in excruciating pain she was also extremely rough the pains I’m getting five days after the procedure it’s like reliving that moment all over again although it was my choice to continue the operation for the amount of money I paid better medication should have been given and the after medicine the doctor didn’t even sign my prescriptions off so I had to wait over the weekend to take the medicine which could have damaged me or I could’ve gotten an infection ... I came from out of town and we had to leave Alabama so I tried to go to the 24 hr cvs and they called no one answer leaving me with the strong sharp cramps and I’m bleeding light on pad but with I go to the bathroom it’s like I’m peeing blood so I don’t know what to describe that blood flow . I’m just not back to normal yet
