Michael Moran Acupuncture

Michael’s knowledge, care, and expertise as an acupuncturist is indisputable (as shown by other reviews) but I’d to take this time to highlight his use of traditional Chinese herbal medicine. I’ve been going to the doctor on and off for years dealing with gut issues (gluten allergy) and skin issues. The medicine given to me by doctors for my skin issues since March has burned my skin, has me needing to do liver tests every 4 months because of heavy toxicity levels, and is only a temporary solution for something that will “never go away”. Over the last month I’ve been intentional with my work with Michael and am MILES ahead of where I was working with doctors. My skin condition has cleared up in a month, he’s alleviated pain, and is helping me for a long term solution in repairing my gut and healing my skin from the inside out. I feel so much better and am so happy with this pain alleviating for the first time in a long time.

Michael is hands-down the best masseuse and body-worker that I have ever seen. I saw him at a time where I had severe, chronic upper back pain. Michael was licensed to do massages and cupping at the time, and he was excellent at both. He often also provided me with herbal remedies when I happened to have a minor illness.Michael has a unique combination of passion, intellect, and intuition for body work that in combination make him excellent at what he does. He creates a soothing atmosphere and plays wonderful music.Could not recommend more strongly. Michael is the best, and New Orleans is so, so lucky to have him. For those who dont live in NOLA, Michael is so good at what he does that hes worth planning a trip around!

I saw Michael for over two years. He helped me get through some of my most difficult times. Through his kind demeanor and exceptional knowledge of acupuncture, I always felt better physically and emotionally after leaving each session. Through a series of fortunate events I started seeing Michael for massage but I am so grateful that it turned into cupping and herbs as well.
