Planned Parenthood - Newark Center

Wonderful staff and experience at this location. Best care I’ve received during a month long health scare where I’ve seen several other doctors. We couldn’t diagnose my issue but their bedside manner is amazing and they sent me off with a referral to a specialist. Thank you NP Emily Seiter and nurse Nita for giving me peace of mind!

Receptionist, tech, and doctor were all absolutely wonderful. This was my first visit, and I was extremely nervous, but everyone I interacted with was great. All concerns were handled with kindness and no judgement.

Wonderful staff and experience. Office and examination rooms are very clean. I explained that I was very nervous about the service I was receiving and the staff and the nurse practitioner helped me relax and even got me to laugh. They were very informative and was willing to listen to my questions and concerns. I will be back

I’m pregnant and I called this facility to ask if they would accept my ensure. The receptionist was very rude, he told me to call them when I knew what I am looking for and he hung up.This facility needs a better receptionist because this male receptionist didn’t listen to what I was telling him.Definitely I don’t recommend this place.

I scheduled an appointment over the phone explaining what i needed and once I arrived they said they don’t do it . Like 😳 absolute waste of time money and Gas

I visited for the first time to get my Birth-control implant updated. I had a great experience. I made my appointment online, the only appointments available were about 3 weeks in the future, but all other doctors offices were about the same. The lady at the front desk was kind and made sure all my questions and concerns were answered. I did have to wait a little while to see the doctor, but I have had this experience at every single doctors office (PP or not). The doctor was also very kind and VERY attentive to my wants, needs, fears, and concerns. She made great conversation while trying to distract me from the little discomfort I had during the procedure. Everything was explained very well and everyone was professional.

ANSWER YOUR PHONE! I called 10 times with NO ANSWER. I showed up for a walk in which their website says they do, and the front door is locked. I’ve been trying to call over and over but no one picks up. I guess people just don’t do their job here.

Very very bad experience for my first appointment and service. I will not be coming back and I do not recommend. If I could give a 0, I 100% would! I trusted them with getting my blood drawn and the lady who did it said “oop” as she took out the needle and my blood dripped on the floor and down my arm I felt the hot blood. I started breathing heavy and nurses had to come in and fan me since I was very light headed could barely keep my eyes open. I’ve never had any experience like this before and I’ve gotten my blood drawn a couple of times in my life. Unprofessional.

I took my daughter here and it was her first Gyno appointment and the receptionist couldnt have been kinder and more helpful. Because of Covid I couldnt accompany her to the back but the Doctor answered all her questions and my daughter said she made her very comfortable. I have to get her refils this week so Ill report back about that but Im surprised to hear all the negative reviews considering what a great experience we had and thank God because this was going to set up how my baby girl would feel about gynos for life!

I would give this place a zero if I could !! So unprofessional and lazy. I had to call them two weeks after my appointment to get my results and it doesn’t take that long usually. During the time I waited they didn’t contact me at all and they didn’t even update there patient portal app so if they decide not to give you a call you can look at your test results from your phone. I finally gave them a call today just for the lady to not be specific on my results and to have a nasty attitude over the phone. I usually go to Christiana care for these things and I decided to try this place out knowing all the nasty and bad reviews about it, I still went and everything they said was true!! Don’t even waste your time trying to get the care you need here because trust me you wouldn’t get it.

I dont understand why so many people are having bad experiences here. The staff are incredibly friendly and more than happy to explain anything. I have PTSD and everyone who helped check me in and even the doctor who saw me were incredibly patient and kind. Im so happy this place exists and Im so thankful for the staff and Planned Parenthood as a whole.

Unprofessional, I’ve been calling them for nearly 2 weeks for a follow up appointment with no response. The last time I called the woman answered the phone and HUNG UP ON ME when I asked for an appointment absolutely ridiculous this is definitely a 0 star establishment never had an experience like this at an other medical center

I came in to take out and put in the new birth control implant, theyre very nice, careful, gentle, professional, Kelly did me, not hurt at all and very quick, shes the best, I love her ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would also rate this place a 0 if I could. I had a miscarriage and they told me to let everything flow on its own.... fast forward 2 months later I am in the hospital almost dying because i still had parts of the sack in my body. I had mentioned feeling sick after a week of my miscarriage to the doctor and she said “it must be another thing” .. OH and she never mentioned resting for even a day.. which yes you’re supposed to do, to avoid getting a HEMORRHAGE.

This has to be the worst experience Ive had in a health care facility. Had an appointment for 8am, its past 9 and I havent been attended to, after being placed in a room that felt like I was in Antarctica. Everyone who came in after me has been attended to, while I am still here. This is a really terrible place.

I was treated with great respect and everything was explained to me in detail during my exam. I would always go back and recommend the Newark location to anyone needing a yearly exam and/or birth control.

This place is a total mess . Cant even make an appointment. & When they tell you to walk in you wait til like 8 o clock didnt explain anything just said youll be in shortly but then have you wait for 5 hours . Staff if not helpful & have no clue what there doing .

I have gone to so many clinic before here and they had no clue what was wrong with me. Planned parent hood has the most knowledgeable doctor and would recommend stoping here first before you stop anywhere else!

It would be nice if they were actually open during business hours. We sat outside for a half an hour called the office and was told they couldn’t do anything she’s an “scheduler”

Unprofessional came here to pick up my prescription mind you 30 mins before closing the front door was locked called the office no one picked up and they don’t open until next tuesday again

Definitely needs funding to update the place, but the staff has never given me any issues and they seem to know what they are doing

Do not waste your time with this horrible place. The staff is rude and its clear that they really dont care about you. I will never go back. If I could rate this place with 0 stars I would.!!

It took me 4 hours till I was seen....then I sat in a room for at least an hour while they took lunch 😭never again.

Friendly, knowledgable and never have any issues
