The staff are friendly and attentive. Facility is clean. My main complaint is the pre operative space. This is a relatively small room with numerous curtained off patient beds/rooms. It is loud and you can hear every conversation. My next door “neighbor “ spent her hours bog prepping time talking on FaceTime with the speaker on full blast. I would suggest many changes to this environment! It is not patient friendly. At the very least ask for some phone etiquette. The other aspects of the facility are fine.

On 6/19/24 I had a hip replacement surgery with Dr. Kyle Mcgivern at this facility. The care I received from the staff and doctor were some of the best I have ever had at any medical facility I have used. The staff spoke highly of the doctor, and the doctor spoke highly of the staff! First rate care all the way around!

Dr. Jeffrey Moore and his surgical team did back surgery on me 5/2024 he and his team were wonderful. I stayed overnight due to my surgery and my nurses Malat and Cristina were outstanding.I could not sleep (because I can never sleep in strange places and due to post op pain) but Malat and Cristina took great care of me. Since the hospital is small, only 12 beds, the staff to patient ratio was great, my needs were addressed quickly, I highly recommend this hospital for outpatient surgery or surgery requiring 1-2 night stays, the food was great and everyone was friendly! Excellent facility and staff!Dustin M.S. OKC

I went into this surgery terrified. My first surgery on my shoulder was beyond traumatic and here I was having my second surgery less than a year later. New doctor new hospital. The staff was absolutely AMAZING! The Preop nurse and anesthesiologist helped reassure me and made this experience 100 times better!

Very nice hospital. I had surgery there recently and it was a very pleasant experience. My nurse made sure I was comfortable and she was very kind. The front desk workers were easy to talk to and were very professional. After surgery the nurses made sure to bring my mom in as soon I woke up. Everyone there treated me with kindness and respect.

Everyone from check-in to departure was amazing! They were very friendly, kind, and attentive. I never felt neglected or like the nurses were stretched to the limit in patient/nurse ratio. A few days after I was dismissed I received a card with all my caregivers signature and a follow-up phone call.

Staff was ok. I have better and I have had worse. But what I dont understand is why the billing department didnt notify me the few days before or the day of my surgery that I would have a co-pay. The hospital had plenty of time to run my insurance and verify my insurance and what my co-pays are.

I absolutely loved this facility and the staff.I couldnt have any visitors, family or friends,be there for my surgery. But they were patient and caring. Even with a pandemic, going on. (Christina//Kristina) the referral coordinator. Was very helpful. She had helped me, save money on my surgery, which was 100% covered,by my insurance. I couldnt thank her enough, for her help. She went above and beyond, for me. Also,Jeannie, was equally just as helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone, who wants to go to a place, where youre treated like family. And they take excellent care of you. They even send you a thank you, card, after your visit. They give a personal, phone call to see how youre doing, afterwards. Which was very sweet. Thank you, to everyone that had their hand in dealing with my surgery...You ALL are the real MVPS.

This place is not designed for patient comfort or privacy. They cram everyone into a large room sectioned off by sheets. You can hear every conversation being had, the guy across from me didn’t like to cover himself with a blanket or keep his legs closed so I got a full show from him. I will never return to this hospital.

My nurses and anesthesiologist were absolutely amazing. It was my first surgery ever and though there were some complications in the beginning, causing the surgery to run later than expected, everyone treated me so kindly. The head nurse made sure that everyone who was going to work on me said hello and talked to me for a bit. I know that if I ever need surgery again, I am in great hands with those nurses.

I was very disappointed with the nursing care my husband received! My husband had a total knee replacement surgery in August 2021. My husband s pain was definitely not a priority to the night shift. My husband was in obvious pain, the nurse would not call the doctor, he kept telling me he has 2 more hours before he can have anymore pain medications. He did not do any neurovascular checks the entire 12 hour shift he was there. My husband was is so much pain that he was sweating from head to toe. The nurse did not take me seriously until I came out of the room and demand that he call maintenance or find a fan, he finally brought a fan to my husbands room, I stood outside of my husbands room until he found one. My husband remained in pain all night and did not sleep. His ice pack started leaking, the night nurse took it off and never put another one back on. I had to ask for him to get a dry sheet because he was just going to leave the wet one on him. The night nurse did not put on gloves to hang IV antibiotics or give IV pain medication. I thought maybe they were busy, I asked how many patients they had. My husband was 1 of 5. The dayshift nurse on day of discharge was the only good nurse we encountered. I will be writing a letter to the hospital Nurse manager as well.

Christy at the front desk does not have a pleasant attitude or demeanor for patients to see upon arrival. She is short with them and hateful showing signs that she does not like her job. A caring/smiling face would go along way for patients to feel cared about. It’s not very assuring to a patient that is about to go under anesthesia for any type of operation. My father was told multiple times prior to the almost 4 hour trip I made, that I would be allowed into the facility for the duration of his procedure along with my mother. And the exception was made with the understanding that I would wear my mask and provide proof of my COVID vaccination. This is very frustrating to not only myself but my father who wants the support from his daughter with medical background. I knew the rules in place due to COVID before coming, but because the staff insured him that I would be able to stay I took the opportunity just like anyone would. So if you are going to make exceptions to the rules at least stick to what you said and relay the information to your miserable front desk staff.

I am not one to write bad reviews. But I am not very pleased with this hospital. The pre op nurses were amazing. My surgeon and anesthioligst was amazing. The recovery nurse was horrible. 1st off I am going on day 5 from shoulder surgery, still have not received a follow up call to see how I am doing. 2nd my recovery nurse was not kind or knowledgeable I guess. She couldnt figure out how to put my sling on. When I got home it was on inside out. She gave NO discharge instructions to my husband. She not so gently flopped an ice pack on my shoulder. And again going on day 5 post op surgery and no follow up call. Not very pleased with the recovery part of out patient surgery.

Rugged. Downgrade from most other surgical hospitals. My surgery was switched here last minute from Community Hospital. Received call on Friday at 3:20pm to advise me that Im having surgery here on Monday instead of community where I feel comfortable. Had last 3 surgeries here. The pre-op was adamant about getting all other insurance information even after I advised her that the VA already had the pre-authorization and the Dr who was performing the surgery had the information. Told her I didnt want to have my surgery here and even advised my surgeon the same.Fast forward to Monday. I check into this place, feeling uncomfortable and looks like a make shift field hospital. And could tell this is the place where Medicare & Sooner Care patients go. When this woman comes out stating she needs my alternative insurance and Medicare number. I again advised her wasnt going to give this to her since the VA choice card was paying for services. At this time Im really agitated by all this. Then I taken to this so-called pre-op room where you sit in a recliner and you could here the other nurses making calls to other future patients. The only thing that helped me relax was the my check-in nurse, my fiancé by my side, the surgeon nurse. My surgery was scheduled at 11:30am and I didnt have surgery until 2:45pm but thats not the hospital or staffs fault. I understand surgeons get tied up. After surgery one of the nurses asked me if I needed crutches after my right knee was cut open down the middle. Wow really nurse ..? No I didnt need nothing Im okay really (sarcasm). Had to ask several times that get them crutches. On top of that i receive someone elses discharge papers. Unbelievable. I refuse to have any other procedures done at this facility. No better than the VA except some of the staff is better.

Surgery scheduled four weeks after appointment, no time given, will call the day before w/time. No call the day before, I called and left message at 4:30 pm the day before to ask for time, no return call. Received phone call the day surgery was scheduled to see if I would be there for my surgery in an hour, I answered no, because no one called me w/time. The lady answered that her record shows someone called and left a voicemail the day before. I said “No one called, I had my phone with me all day”. I called the Drs. office two times, they didn’t answer and never called me back.So now I’m going to Dan Gentry, my Rolfer, and the feeling in my fingers is returning . So I guessI didn’t need Carpel Tunnel surgery after all. Is Jesus in control? YES AND YES!
