My Ear Infection CheckupDuring my visit to this location, I experienced significant discomfort due to an acute ear infection. The receptionists at the front desk demonstrated a welcoming and friendly demeanor, which helped alleviate some of my distress. However, I felt that the doctor prioritized financial considerations over my well-being, resulting in a rushed and impersonal consultation. Here is what happened.During my checkup, he asked me to turn my head to the side, which I did. Apparently, I kept turning it while he was checking it, and he raised his voice at me, telling me that he could not check if I kept turning my head in a loud and frustrated manner. This, of course, made me feel even worse because I felt as if I had done something wrong. I am not sure if I am in the wrong, but as a patient, I would not want someone to raise their voice at me while I am experiencing extreme pain. After this, he prescribed pain relief and went on with his day. There was no emotional support or sympathy from him, and I did not receive the quality of service that I needed at that moment.

Express family care is the best! I’ve made Jimmy (The Nurse Practitioner) my primary care physician and he’s been the absolute best. Definitely recommend. Him and his staff are always positive and make you feel comfortable. 10/10

Granted this was on a Friday afternoon. But I probably was there like 15 minutes. Got seen, treated/prescribed. Staff was nice, doc was nice. 10/10. The US health system could learn a thing or 2 from these peeps. Also, Im already sStarting to feel better. Thank you!Immensely better than Mercy on Nw expressway!

I went to see this NURSE PRACTITIONER, not a doctor, and asked him if he would prescribe me an inhaler. He told me he would and two weeks later I called for the third time about the inhaler that had still not been prescribed and the office girl replied by telling me I have an outstanding bill of $3 and laughed at me. That NURSE PRACTITIONER has now made his last dime from me. I’ll NEVER return there again. I’ll go to a real doctor next time.

My family has been seeing Tisdale for years. He is down to earth and honest. He tries to make care affordable and doesnt push unnecessary tests or treatments. There is never a terribly long.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Clean, beautiful office; kind, welcoming staff. Comfortable and quick. Dr. Tisdale was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this clinic to anyone!

This is what accessing medical help should be. The people were kind and responsive. I received upfront accurate information about cost and the Practitioner even talked to me plainly about what my prescriptions would cost. This transparency is important on the patient end. It made me feel confident and informed when I picked up my medicine, rather than being afraid of the possible total. I contacted them on a Friday afternoon and they had everything I needed taken care of within a short period of time on the same day. I have never experienced that on any day at any other clinic, let alone on a Friday afternoon. There was no upselling. If youve been churned through some of the large medical groups you know what I mean. It was an outstanding experience and I will definitely call them next time I need something.

Ive been going here for almost 2 years now, great staff, quiet environment, quick service. Dr. Tisdale is great with both of my kids and answers any questions I have, offers info for anything that comes up. Definitely recommend coming here. 5yr update, still amazing! Called and left a message for prescription refill/pharmacy transfer on a Saturday, an hour later pharmacy confirmed. Hands down, best PCP Ive ever had for both my children and me!

Dr. Jimmy was excellent!! At most places, youre told to visit the clinic without knowing if they have any rapid tests left for that day but he told us on the phone so we wasted no time. After we got our results, his telemedicine call was extremely informative and helpful and encouraged us to call back if we have questions. Such great service! Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been going here for 4 years now and the experience is always great! I met Kalli at my sons recent visit and she is phenomenal, I’m so glad she’s part of their team. The whole staff is amazing! I even called a week later to get some paperwork sent over and the lady who answered automatically knew who it was for without me giving a name. They listen, pay attention to detail and genuinely care for you. There’s no better place!

Couldn’t get into my PCP so I tried this place. The wait was short, front staff super helpful and Dr. Tisdale was attentive and great! Strongly considering moving my primary care to him because the availability and no appointment model clearly works! Love that they can draw labs in office and have a Patient portal! Great bedside manner, beautiful and clean office- this experience beats any urgent care (and probably any doctor visit) I’ve ever been to! Thank you!

I have been seeing Jimmy Tisdale for years. He is the best! He treats you like a person and not a number running through the revolving door.He gets it right the first time. And his staff at the front are always so nice and helpful.I followed him when he moved to his current location and would follow if he ever moved again.

This place was recommended to me for my daughter and after my daughter was seen by Jimmy I immediately signed myself and my son up to have him as my primary under my insurance. Jimmy is simply amazing and he will take the time to listen to you and you can ask questions he will answer them he will ask questions he will dig deep to find the problem and try his best to solve it and get you feeling better. All in all he is the best nurse practitioner/doctor Ive ever seen in Oklahoma to date and I have been in Oklahoma since 1993. So apparently that is saying a lot!!!

11/30/2023 I did my Yearly Follow Up for 2024 and the NA at the front desk were very helpful and polite, and Dr Jimmy Tisdale was very polite, thuro professional and helpful and stays on top of the ball with health care medical needs with other companies and their patients like me I wished Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2024 , I highly recommend this medical facilityI really appreciate your medical facility, Patient,Dustin Miller Jr

I continually asked Jimmy to see a specialist for my sons stomach for years. I asked again in the summertime to see a specialist to find out what was wrong. He said it was probably nerves. I visited again and he acted like nothing was serious.I dont understand how you can run a health clinic without a certified doctor?My son ended up with cancer after going to an emergency room in another statefortunately we are able to fight it no thanks to Jimmy.We should have had it diagnosed in the summer when my son was in pain.I believe it was serious negligence because my son could have died and you refused to help me find out he had cancer.

Dr. Jimmy Tisdale has been providing medical care to our family for approximately 5 years and we couldnt be happier with the service that he provides! The staff is always friendly every time my family is there for an appointment. I highly recommend anyone needing a great family doctor to go see Dr. Tisdale at Express Family Care!

Dr Tisdale is great ! I love how he explains things & how assuring he is . I haven’t had any problems even though it’s been awhile since I seen him , however I recently called to ask some question & don’t like how the receptionist who answerd the phone at front desk was acting , she kept laughing on the phone while talking , just not very helpful , didn’t seem like she was paying attention or wanted to talk . I didn’t have a PCP nor health insurance. Thankfully i found Dr. Tisdale.He is an amazing doctor, and very kind to your needs and he remembers our conversations from months ago and follows up.I just couldn’t recommend him enough. Thank you Doc. You rock.

Doctor Tisdale is seriously heaven sent. My 11 month old son was sick and he took him in last minute when he didnt have to. He was thorough and looked for any possible thing that could have been wrong. He never made me feel like an inconvenience or just another patient. He treated my son like his own. Its so refreshing to find a doctor that is so genuine and caring! THANK YOU!

He refused my visit because I left honest review after he took my copayment. They staff that answers the phone is unprofessional. The Doctor is unprofessional he changes his prices every 2 months. I wouldnt recommend my dog to this place.

Listen, folks. Dr. Tisdale is hands down one of the best medical physicians in Oklahoma City, and when you pair that with affordability it does not get much better than him. I avoid doctors and hospitals as much as possible but have treated with him for several years through a few clinics and have NEVER had a disappointing experience. He is efficient, informative, considerate, honest and of the utmost integrity both professionally and personally. I dare say any negative reviews left about his office must be a result of miscommunication or a failed attempt to acquire prescription medications for a non existent medical condition. If youre sick, go see this guy!

Great experience!!!! I was a little sad we didnt get to see Dr. Jimmy, but he picked an excellent partner!!!!! She was absolutely great!!!! The nurse that took our labs is the BEST ever!!!! This is why I love this place and will go no where else!!!!! THE BEST IN OKC!!!!! 100%

Jimmy and his staff are the best in town. He is the first health care professional that I have felt perfectly comfortable with and he never makes me feel awkward or weird. He genuinely cares about my health and well being. He, his medical assistants, and office staff are ACES!

My review is late, my kids and I have been seeing Dr. Tisdale since he worked at the Today Clinic. We found him again after he got his own clinic on NW Expressway and through his move to his current building and my kids and i love him. He is great with the kids helpful of any and every problem health mental and emotional (he has been our PCP for years now), I suggest him to everyone and anyone. Dr. Tisdale and lovely helpful ladies of the front desk thank you thank you thank you for all your help and care over the years for remebering me and my kids and keeping us healthy.

Express Family Care was the best decision I could of made when my daughter had a bad ear infection and her own pediatrician wouldnt be able see her for nearly 3 months. My daughter already had fears of her ears being messed with after getting tubes put in on two different occasions, and Mr. Tisdale was able to not only put her at ease, but able to take a look at her ears and give the proper treatment needed to make her feel better and get her back to herself again. I definitely will be going to him for all my daughters and my medical needs.

Awesome, caring and professionalism at its finest!! My grandson experienced injuries to his head, eyes and ribs at an early age. During his recovery, Mr. Tisdale noticed an issue concerning his head and sent him to the hospital to be further examined. The result ended with my g-son being admitted and having to drain fluid from his brain. He also called and checked on him during his hospital stay. If it wasnt for Mr. Tisdale observations and quick decision to send him to the hospital; I deeply feel my g-son wouldnt be here today. I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!

Doc Jimmy is pretty rare in the medical environment right now. He actually LISTENS.He doesn’t rush through the appointment to make sure he meets some obscene quota like some clinics. He’s courteous, thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional.

Jimmy truly cares about his patients! My husband and I see him regularly and he always takes great care of us. His staff is also great and friendly!

I dont have a family doctor, I just visit Express Family Care for any need I have. They know me and my husband. Never had a problem, excellent attention. Never have to wait for too long. Love it!! Oh! also, they are bilingual!!!

Tisdale is the best doctor I have ever had. He helped me with traumatic hernia on my side more than anyone else. And when I called months later, he remembered me! Amazing staff and fantastic Doctor.

I was feeling ill this holiday season, So I went to Express Family Care. I was not expecting to get the level of service Dr. Jimmy gave me. Not only did he give me antibiotics, He gave me an instant feel good shot that lasted for 16 hours, which allowed me to function till the antibiotics kicked in. He then gave me a followup call to check in with me, to make sure I was healed. I will defiantly use Express again in the future.

I actually went back in may (awesome) but had a recent experience with thier amazing staff and remembered to jump on google. The staff and nurses are very kind and dedicated. The doc is very thorough and personable. I love Express Family Care. 😊👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

So impressed, the person who took us back was lovely, I wish I knew her name so I could give her credit. The dr was simply amazing and genuinely cared. Everyone was so sweet to my little guy and we maybe waited 5 minutes.

We just mived here from kansas. Tisdale was amazing he took great care of my husband my son and myself. After seeing other facilitys here in okc . i would strongly encourage everyone to go here. Hes Very imformative and down to earth. Im one that dreads going to any health facility but i like seeing him. And also his front staff girls were amazing and friendly.

I have gone several times to this office and have insurance through Aetna with my employer. Last winter i made a visit after a fall on ice and was told I was not insured. I called my HR and Aetna and they assured me i was covered. The office would not speak with them and I paid out of pocket. I just made a visit and in their notes in computer they stated I need to verify with aetna. We alreAdy had encountered that previously. So now I am in severe pain and can barely walk and must find another doctor. I am very disappointed.

Doctor Tisdale is great. You can tell he actually cares about his patients. He also has a great staff with him that definitely complement his office.

Took my teenager in with chest pains...was very worried! But the Doc was fabulous and immediately did an EKG to rule out heart issues! Took the time to talk to my son and myself about what was going on! Definitely will bre using him on a regular basis!

Very friendly staff, and doctor. Very quick service. Was in and out in less than a half hour. Doctor actually took the time and listened, and it is obvious he cares about making his patients feel better.

He was very rude at questioning anything. Very quick to write prescriptions without finding the root of problems. Not fast enough to write prescriptions actually needed.. he very much seems to be on a power trip if you ask for any information.. I have every symptom of prostate cancer but because I’m younger he assumed it was prostate enlargement instead of taking simple blood test. When I insisted on the blood test he only did a basic cmp test and not the (psa) test needed to identify prostate cancer

Went in tonight with my 2 year old daughter who had a deep cut in her head. We were in and out in about 30 minutes, but received EXCELLENT care in that short time! We will definitely be coming back!

My wife tried to get a proper invoice - twice they said they would email it to her - they never did. She had to go in person and THEN they said they didnt have a proper invoicing system - they tried to give her a letter but it did not contain the required information - the reception did NOT want to cooperate.So if you are using a TASC card or any supplemental medical credit card - you will run against issues doing a claim. Very unprofessional.

I am so grateful for the care, compassion, and expertise that this clinic offers. You will not find faster, more convenient, and expert care with genuine concern for their Patients anyplace else! I would recommend this clinic to anyone before going anyplace else in Okc. Thank you for being there for me!

Good service. However, they lied to my wife, assuring her they took our insurance. A few months later they send us a bill for all the expenses. They didn’t bother to call or anything, they just sent the bill. When we called, they basically just said, “oops, we made a mistake, our bad, you still have to pay.”

Went there last week and the doctor was very polite and knew what was wrong in a matter of seconds. Then followed up with me the next day to see if things were getting better. Great service and very nice people.

Dr. Tisdale and staff were exceptional. I didn’t have insurance at the time of my visit but the prices were very reasonable. Even though I was in tremendous pain at the time it was a great experience.

Dr. Craig A. Phelps seemed more interested in how I found this Urgent Care and why I chose this Urgent Care than really looking at my 8 month olds symptoms. He looked at my sons red bumps and blisters for a short time before diagnosing him with them being from bug bites. However after getting a second medical opinion I found out it is from Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. Wish I could get my $69 back because I could have properly diagnosed my son myself through the internet. I just dont understand how he so wrong misdiagnosed my son.

This was a very nice place to go for my needs at the time I was just traveling thru and I needed to see a doctor. I called around and this place was welcoming over the phone ,I seen the doctor he was very nice and took care of my concern and I was on my way. Dr. Tisdale is a joke along with all of his staff. I tried multiple times to get him to send a referral to a specialist I need and he flat out refused. I asked for an email or piece of paper stating that he wouldnt refer me and still couldnt get that. Stay away from this place if your in serious pain!!!

I cant rate Mr. Tisdale and his staff highly enough. He goes so far above and beyond anything I have experienced with any other g.p. or specialist. I honestly think he works to damned hard. Thanks for the extraordinary care and patience.

Jimmy is a wonderful Nurse Practitioner he got my wife on the correct diabetic medicine. He made me feel at ease on my visit.

Care is standard (not my normal NP and I was sick) but BILLING IS HORRID. Make sure they are CONTRACTED with your insurance and even then, make sure the billing company gets it right. In and out fast and got what I needed to get better.

They really care about their patients! The Dr was very informative and explained everything clearly. The receptionist and nurse are friendly, bilingual and always smiling.
