Access Medical Center Urgent Care Oklahoma City

I feel like I got exceptional service today. The nurse was one the best nurses I’ve ever had.. She took the time to make sure that I took just the right test since I had a lot of symptoms. Luckily for me they were able to tell what the problem was right away…. and Doctor was very professional and took time to listen carefully to why I came in and he was able to answer all of my questions….

Even with an online appointment and no people in the waiting area for an infection from a hangnail my son was being seen for it took 1 hour and 15 minutes. We were left in a dirty exam room with dead bugs in the overhead light and Dirty paint chipped walls for 50 minutes. When the PA showed up it was less than 5 minutes. No doctor was seen , he/she must have been in the back eating lunch. Basically the PA was snarky from the start even though we heard lots of laughing as we waited in the room looking every once in a while at the dead bugs and the filthy wall near the trash can. We paid 50 bucks and got what we came for which is an antibiotic to treat it but safe to say we won’t be back. People don’t go here. Plenty of other cleaner and more efficient walk in clinics around. Go there instead. ***Update one week later: my son had to have his nail drained the next day and it certainly wasn’t here. It was taken care of at another location not associated with this clinic. Once the infection was drained and his finger treated with betadine and triple antibiotics ointment it has healed well. The PA at this clinic just told my son to put a warm rag on it and that it didn’t need to be drained. It had to be drained not even 24 hours later. Seriously incompetent.

Didn’t even make it to see the doctors or other providers, but the front desk people were some of the rudest and antagonizing people yet. Had some questions to ask over the phone and got put on hold for literally not even a full minute each time before I could get an answer. They also kept repeating themselves over and over again as if I was a little kid and not a grown adult trying to find an urgent care to go to. They were also quick to hang up as well, which made me question how much integrity or values they even have if they just wanted to basically ignore my questions and hang up.

The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the provider told me that I was “hyper fix-aiding” on getting an xray when I told him about my husband having pneumonia and how I was starting to feel chest pain and trouble breathing. He said based on my “story” he didn’t think it was needed but he would order me on to “calm down.” He said all of this without listening to my lungs and I just felt crazy for asking for care. It was very shocking to be spoken to this way and made me very emotional. I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Luckily the front desk staff was very nice and had a cup of water for me and the paper work needed to get a refund. They are the only reason this is not a one star review.

This is the nicest staff and Doctors. I drive from the Northside because the quickness professionalism and beside manner of all the staff at this specific location! I have used other urgent care centers over the years but this one has always been consistent for the last 5 or 6 years. Will continue to make the drive even after moving from the immediate area

This clinic has improved greatly since my last visit. I had left a very negative review before, but this time the front desk staff was friendly, the PA was friendly, and I was in and out very quickly. So glad this was a much better experience.

Our kiddo fell off the monkey bars and broke a bone. Everyone was so helpful and we were in and out in record time. X-rays and casting was very quick and the staff explained everything every step of the way.

I dont even know what to say... I was so flabbergasted by the PA that saw my daughter yesterday. She was seen the day before, on Sunday, (they also sent script to a closed pharmacy) they overcharged her on her co-pay and sent her home with advice to take Musinex-D. Then, overnight her husband went to the ER where he was diagnosed with pneumonia. On Monday, my daughter was having trouble breathing so she called this urgent care back and asked...should I come get a chest x-ray? The person on the phone said, yes, I think that would be a good idea. When she arrived, the PA Thomas Uzuegbunen, told her that she wasnt running a fever or coughing bad, so he thought she was... and I quote hyper-fixating on getting an x-ray. My daughter started crying and called me I was near by so was there within minutes. This man tried to deny that he said that, at first. I told him it was very inappropriate to say to someone who has come to their facility for care. Especially, because she was in the day before and her husband was at home so sick. I wanted to leave and take my daughter elsewhere and be refunded because we did not get care. They told me to call the billing department.... so no refund. I am livid. You do not tell a patient that they are hyper-fixating on something that they have EVERY reason to be concerned about!! She was having trouble breathing, they were reluctantly going to give her the x ray but made her feel like she was wrong and questioned herself on how her body feels so we left. Very wrong. Never go here!! So disrespectful to the patient! Shame on you!

I absolutely adore everyone at this location, they never make me feel uncomfortable or mind when I ask dumb questions and I absolutely always recommend them to everyone. They’re saints when it comes to handling my anxiety and explain throughly why they recommend certain things and how each and every step is going to be done so there’s never any surprises.

The entire staff was kind and empathetic through the whole process. The wait time was minimal for a Saturday. My doc, Brookelyn Johnson, made me feel like she took my pain seriously which is something I’m always afraid of being overweight and a woman. She put me on a good path for treatment/relief until I can get to a specialist. Thank you so much everyone at this location.

Was extremely pleased with my visit today. Probably the best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care facility. Staff and FNP were wonderful. Each of them went the extra mile for me in their own way. This is a rare experience in healthcare these days. I hope I won’t be back, but if I’m in need, I’ll never go anywhere else! THANK YOU 🙏🏼

I had appt, in/ out 25 min total With a sinus infection. Meds ordered online at walgreens and picked up one hour later. The process, customer service, staff, Dr, was awesome when I felt crappy.

Father-in-law developed red/swollen/hot to touch elbow. Did not schedule online, but we did not have to wait long to see the PA. The staff was incredibly patient, compassionate, kind, respectful, and so helpful! Couldn’t have asked for a better crew!

Slight wait despite no other patients being there but nothing outrageous. The staff were lovely and the APRN was very thorough and informative. I will return here.

My appointment was early AM. Had to call to get lab results and then had to call AGAIN to have prescription sent to pharmacy. Idk who dropped the ball but the fact I had to keep calling and then by the time prescription sent pharmacy closed… not cool. I’m very upset with the way it was handled.

Great experience. Picked them randomly from Google. They were close at the time. Everyone was attentive. Easy paperwork online. They were very patient, the facility looked well taken care of. There wasnt much of a wait in the middle of the day. They made sure that I understood how to properly care for myself while at home. And even took consideration of other medicine to avoid me possibly feeling worse. I would definitely use them again.

Ive been going here and ive had a great experience everyone is so friendly and all the nurses and the doctors are awesome ! i would highly recommend them if you need and urgent care ACCESS is great!!!! thank you!!!

Check-in and nurse were terrrific. The doctor I have my questions about. When I was leaving he said “oh you have a fever.” Isn’t that something he should have thought about before diagnosis. Then he prescribed me 30 days worth of antibiotics, 3 times a day! Kinda excessive for my glands being swollen. No tests run at all. Won’t go back. Sorry

DO NOT come here. Tried to make an appointment, the lady kept giving me reasons I should just walk in (only one person there atm etc) so I did. A/c isn’t functioning properly and of course lobby was packed. Had me sitting in there for an hr just to tell me it’s $150 to get seen. They wouldn’t set anything up to where I could pay tomorrow (pay day) so I had to leave. 10/10 will never waste my time here again.

The place is great clean wise and the staff in the front is nice the Drs too the reason Im doing 4 stars is because I didnt get anything prescribed I will say the Dr did give me pointers on what to take but day and night quill is not what I wanted to take!!

The front staff & nurse got me in right away & the PA that saw me was very proactive when my pharmacy was closed. She helped me find a 24 hr pharmacy & sent my prescriptions there. The nurse was caring & helpful as well.

Unfortunately for me, this is about the 3rd time Ive had to use this facility. But everytime, it has been clean, friendly and quick service. Ive been really happy about the care theyve given me.

It was great. Jackie was amazing and friendly while being very professional. The doctor and the rest of the staff were just as awesome. I recommend to patients of all ages.

Just a note here. I pay for Previous bills.I had period love.I tried to pay when I was there. And they told me.I didnt know anything so when I received email about it.I thought it was a scam so please have them let us know we will be built. I dont mind paying my bills.Just need to know that I need to pay, even later. Thank you.

Great service, receptionist, nurse and provider were really friendly. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes!

We came here after my daughter developed a fever and was complaining of an earache. We were treated and on our way within 30 minutes around 7:30pm. The PA was very gentle and sweet with my 5yr old. We liked the Halloween decorations and thought it was welcoming and inviting. The MA was super sweet, friendly and gentle. 10/10 recommend.

Everyone there was so nice and kind. Hopefully, I’ll never have to use them again, but if I do, I would gladly go there

No Stars! The inability to get anyone on the phone when they send your script to a closed pharmacy is ridiculous.They called back and called it into a new pharmacy. They had prescribed a medication that no longer exists! Called that night and next morning. Took 3 hours, no phone call, had to call against. Its been almost 24 hours. Worst experience ever. Do not recommend.

I was a walk in, off course I waited a while; but it was worth it. Clean, super friendly staff. I needed some last minute meds before my vacation and they where all so amazing and I feel much better! Thanks ladies!!!!

I had problems with the app, but it probably my fault because I am sick and not 100% today. Everyone was kind and friendly which is nice when your not feeling your best. Larry Ruffin DO is one of the nicest doctors I have met, he listened, was patient and kind.

READ!!!I had a terrible experience at Access Medical and will not return. I had an appointment, and there was only one person ahead of me, so I expected a quick and efficient visit. Unfortunately, I was waiting for over an hour before the Doctor even came to see me. When the Doctor did finally arrive, the examination was extremely brief, lasting only three minutes. I felt rushed and like my concerns were not being properly addressed.In addition, the cleanliness of the lobby chairs was concerning. There were visible stains on many of them, making me question the facilitys overall cleanliness. Given that many sicknesses are going around, I would have expected higher standards of hygiene.To make matters worse, I paid $50 for this experience, which was a complete waste of my time and money. I do not recommend Access Medical to anyone looking for quality medical care. The lack of attention to detail and poor customer service is unacceptable.

I go out of my way to get to this specific clinic. I feel comfortable. Staff is professional, polite, and caring. They take care of all my urgent medical needs when I cannot see my primary care physician right away.

The PA Lillian Tran that saw my daughter was awesome very attentive and was very nice took care of her needs.

Staff was great. The doctor was very helpful explaining X-ray results.

We got there 30 mins before closing and was still able to be seen without a problem, all of the staff members were friendly and answered all my questions!

Updated xray equipment is needed at the Western location, went for a forearm injury that took 3 repeats but on the last one we were offered to take the 3rd set of X-rays at another location that had newer equipment.

Best doctors visit ever fast, genuinely pleasant friendly and kind personnel very knowledgeable I’m impressed

The staff is amazing and couldnt ask for a better place to be seen. They took great care of me and very quickly got me in and seen and treated.

Went to access medical because my daughter had lots of pain in her ear. Dr. Lee, immediately upon looking at her arms says she has a virus, I explained her skin is always that way she has fair skin and that is what her skin looks like.Then he goes to questioning my eight-year-old of everything that is going on asking her leading questions even though I had already explained the reason we were there was Ear problems. Dr. Lee commences to looking at everything except her ear. I finally tell him it is her ear and That is the problem upon which time he looks and sees that both of her ears are very irritated and infected. He immediately goes into wanting to test for the flu. I said that’s fine but what about the ears. He tells me that he will get her an anabiotic and treat for the ear infection, but he needed to see if she was positive for the flu.After waiting 20 minutes for a test to come back he comes in and explains that she has the flu, and that he needs to treat for the flu. Upon which time I asked him if he was going to treat her for the ear infection as he said he would. He said no I’m giving her Tamiflu because it’s the flu. I explained to him you’re not going to give our child Tamiflu you told me that you were going to give her something for her ear infection. His response was yes I’m going to treat the flu and give her Tamiflu to help with the ear infection. By this time my daughter has been crying uncontrollably for 10 to 15 minutes in the room because she is in extreme pain in her ear. Nowhere else but her ear.This is what the CDC AND FDA says about Tamiflu and its treatment for ear infection:The CDC describes Tamiflu as a drug that may “reduce the risk of complications such as ear infections in children, and pneumonia and hospitalizations in adults.” The FDAs drug label for Tamiflu, however, says the remedy “has not been shown to prevent such complications.”Dr.Lee according to these groups that are highly respected in medicine your treatment for what you deemed as very infected ears may help PREVENT by one and not proven to PREVENT by the other. Even if it would’ve helped, it says, possibly good for prevention, both of those ears were already highly infected as you stated. You should have been a caring Dr. and treated the ear infection that you said you would treat instead of pushing your agenda and trying to get someone to take a medication that was not going to help with the problem a crying eight-year-old had in your office today.Your unwillingness to give us a medication to help with an ear infection, that you clearly said my daughter had and you would treat for is unprofessional and completely uncalled for. You said you were going to treat for an ear infection, even if she came back positive for the flu. Then you refused to give us any type of medication for the infection to help a crying eight-year-old in your office. If You knew about the medication you were prescribing you would know that that medication was not going to take care of the pain that my daughter was in in that office.We will not be bullied into doing something just because that’s the medication you wanted us to take. We needed treatment and you were unwilling to treat. Sad day when we can’t even trust Going to see a doctor to get help for a little girl that was in lots of pain.Have a little compassion and integrity when it comes to treating patients instead of trying to give a medication that would not even help a little girl.

Just left and was blown away at the lack of compassion at this place. My 10 year old cut his finger, so I wanted to take him in to see if he needed a tetanus shot. I took the time to fill out all of the paperwork. I was planning on being customer pay since my family is in between insurance. After waiting for my turn, I was called up to the desk when the receptionist took this opportunity loudly to let me know that “just to see the dr would be $285 and it will just go up from there in regards to the treatment.” I let her know that was fine. She then started to talk more about expenses as I nodded. I then asked if someone would at least look at my son’s finger to see if I need to do the tetanus shot. Then out of nowhere she tells me that the nurse said they don’t have the medications for a tetanus shot! If that was literally the case the whole time, why did they have to try to embarrass me in front of the entire waiting room about how expensive it was going to be. So let me get this right…an urgent care that does not have the capacity of giving a tetanus shot? I don’t know what is more appalling.

Let me paint the picture for you. I am sick and have been for a while so I decided to go to the closest urgent care facility that could get me in, it happened to be this Access. I scheduled the appointment in advance and filled out all of the paperwork online to save time when I got to the facility. As I got to the facility there was nobody manning the front desk. Eventually someone did come and check me in but it was well after my appointment time. There were only 2 people waiting for a long time, me and someone scheduled for 10 minutes before me. Nobody was coming out of the back, making it seem very likely that nobody was being seen. I waited 45 minutes for them to take me back. The waiting room was warm and I began coughing violently due to my illness about 30 minutes into my wait. After they took me back the nurse asked me if I wanted any tests ran before I’d even seen a doctor or received any sort of recommendation on what I might need. Believe it or not I do not have a medical degree and I did, in fact, go there for them to diagnose and help formulate a treatment plan for me. The equipment was barely medical quality, the examination tables and chairs were all lackluster at best and the facility certainly didn’t seem all that clean. Once in the back I waited 30 additional minutes to see the doctor, during this additional wait I could hear someone that came in long after me loudly complaining (seemingly about a shot) as he was leaving the facility. When the doctor came in he looked at my throat briefly and listened to my lungs briefly, that’s all. Told me I had an upper respiratory infection, prescribed me antibiotics and told me to take an over the counter decongestant. Mind you, at this point I had mentioned multiple times that I am breastfeeding and, knowing decongestants can tank your supply, mentioned I couldn’t take many types of decongestants. He offered me suggestions at that time for a type that would be safe but frankly it shouldn’t have taken prompting after it was well established I was breastfeeding. At no point during this did anyone so much as acknowledge the unbelievable wait time. I get busy, but the facility was nearly empty of patients when I arrived. I waited nearly an hour and a half for someone to spend less than 5 minutes trying to offer me care. The doctor was nice enough but that is literally the only nice thing I can say about this place or the experience. It was, by far, the worst urgent care experience I’ve ever had.

The wait time is ridiculous even if you come 15 minutes early like they ask you to,you still have to wait for an hour to even be seen.

I would absolutely recommend Access Medical to anyone needing immediate care or unable to book appointment with your primary physician. 10 minutes in lobby, then a pleasant nurse took vital signs, then I waited 15 minutes to see the physician. Very knowledgeable, listened, examined, then diagnosed and issued prescription. Facility was very clean, as you should expect. I had no problems with my visit to Access Medical and definitely will return in the future.

I went in for a terrible sinus infection. I made an appointment online. I did not have to wait long to be seen by a doctor. They prescribed antibiotics that helped me very much.The staff was nice and helpful. I have been to this urgent care several times for my daughter also and they do a great job.

Ive never had a bad experience going to Access Clinics. Staff has always treated me kindly and Ive never had a long wait. Will definitely be going back if I cant get into my primary

Doctor was brisk but polite, the MA on the other was rude and condescending and after waiting an hour past our appointment time it was hard to believe how rude she was and felt that she could or should speak to myself or my son like that. Will never use your clinics again, if you were the only medical facility around I would drive a hundreds of miles to get care somewhere else, thank you for wasting my day and being rude in the process!

This is not a complaint against staff - they do the best with the corporate support they have. When I called to see if they were open since it was Dec. 26, the call went to a call center for all Access Medical Centers in who knows where. I used the recommended on line appointment and sign in at around 8:30 am. I was given an appointment for 10:45 a.m. Show up 30 minutes ahead of time to five people ahead of me and others sitting in their cars. After 11:00 I asked how long the expected wait was since I had an appointment. Was told it would be early after noon as all the people waiting were ahead of me. I left and found another urgent care that had me in and out by 12:00. Again this is not against the staff, the one I talked to was apologetic and kind. The problem lies with their cooperate - There is no local phone number listed to contact and it was clear the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. What a shame.

Today my daughter went in to this Urgent Vare with a fever of 103 and really serious symptoms, only to be told she was fine and was sent on her way without meds or further instructions or treatment. There was tests for COVID flue and strep administered and Dr. Joan Kloske said it was all negative and sent her on her way. We then drive to another clinic right after we leave where she was positive with the flu and they could not understand why she was not treated properly at the Urgent care clinic. This is negligence and so uncalled for. The Dr at Urgent care was aware the patient was driving alone and still let her leave with no treatment, this is just unheard of and I do not wish this on anyone that goes into an urgent care feeling like they are dying and dont get taken seriously. Dr. Kloske, and this urgent care need to do better this was the worse experience ever.

Staff was knowledgeable and efficiently on point. I love the fact that I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room with a bunch of other sickly people. I was happy to do business with this facility because of that. I actually left another urgent care down the street because their waiting room was too packed with people. They set an appointment for me to come back in a hour or so and as soon as I came for my appointment I was ushered in the back.

I had two visits in a two week period. Both times I was seen with little wait time.I found everyone in the clinic to be friendly and courteous.

Took my kids there because they were sick. We were there for a total of over two hours and there was only one person ahead of us. The lady working the front desk was pleasant. The nurse was EXTREMELY rude and she asked me what tests needed to be run on the kids instead of being the one to tell me what test needed to be done! Also, there wasn’t a Dr on staff, we saw a nurse practitioner, who misdiagnosed one of my children. I had to take my them somewhere else to get proper treatment for their illness. Stay away from this place unless you are into paying for a dr visit then have to spend more money to go somewhere else for a proper diagnosis! We will not be back.

Overall very happy with my experience. Receptionist was very sweet, nurse was very nice and professional. The doctor was kind, didn’t rush me as I explain why I was there and was very understandable with his diagnosis. I would certainly recommend this clinic!!I really like my primary care doctor however, I would consider going to this clinic for my future needs!

99% of the staff were amazing and helpful. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars, was that I checked in online. And thought I was good, but apparently you have to go on and check in again... Which I didnt understand, but the front desk lady was kinda grrrrr about it. And made me feel like I should have known that... Maybe have the online check in let the paitent know they need to go in... Because I called and was on hold for 10 min to make sure I was good And eventually gave up and went inside, and she told me she was getting ready to cancel my check in because I did not come in and check in with her after checking in...

Only giving 2 stars because the actual Dr was amazing. I believe her name is Tina. The lady who works the check in and the lady who does your vitals are both very rude. If you can not be empathetic or just simply pleasant then you definitely should not be working anywhere in the health care field.

The ladies here were the absolute SWEETEST! I was turned away from 3 urgent cares until I got here and they were seriously some of the most genuine and heart warming faces and personalities that could’ve greeted me after a horrendous night!

They were friendly, good vibe.. ran tests I asked for.. wasnt so long of a wait to be seen, I was just a walk in. Id recommend them...

Private, fast, effective appt. I didn’t have to wait long. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I have been on meds that have been prescribed and doing better.

The Western clinic was so quick and caring during my whole visit. They have a system down for their COVID testing to keep everyone safe. Heather at the front desk was so quick and kind to get me in and help me with all the check in. Melissa the nurse was so calm while getting my medical history updated and getting vitals. Dr. Adams was the provider who saw me for my visit. He was so thorough and attentive to all my needs through the entire visit. I would HIGHLY recommended this clinic to anyone!!

Had my vitals taken, spoke to the Dr. For 5 minutes, paid my CoPay ($50) and received a bill in the mail for an additional $50. If my CoPay and my insurance aren’t covering the cost of the visit…then the cost of the visit is too high.

Only spoke to the doctor for a few minutes for her to question my judgement on how sick I was and question my workplace as if I was making my place of employment up. She ended up writing me a doctors note for the wrong day with typos all in the note making it look as if it was fake. I use to think highly of this urgent care but after meeting with this particular doctor, I don’t believe I will ever return back to this location.

I found out I was exposed to covid-19 I feel horribly horribly bad I pulled Access medical Access medical up on the web which told me to drive straight to the clinic there were two people ahead of me when I got here I told the receptionist I had a fever of 102 I felt horribly bad could I please get tested and she sent me out to wait in my car for 1 hour there is absolutely nobody here I under the circumstances think this service is horrible

Quickest in and out. Took care of my problem and got relief immediately. Staff was very kind and polite.

Front desk lady is very rude and feels powerful and has smart remarks and attitude and seemed irritated. She has black short hair around her 60s-70s. Don’t waste your time we were there for an hour plus and we were the only patient at the clinic. They need to fire or have a talk with their front desk staff (mainly her)to be more nice if their working with customers. If not this is not the environment for them to work at! So not welcoming!!! This is not the first complaint over the front desk.

Very fast and friendly visit. Check in was simple. Facility was clean and spacious. I have taken my children and grandchildren here multiple times. Highly recommend if you or your family needs to be seen.

I never leave reviews, but by god i am this time. I wish I could leave 0 stars, because they did absolutely nothing for me. I went in with these bites and swelling that have just started popping up, no sign of bugs or anything else on me or in my living quarters. The “doctor” came in, asked me one questions, “what’s going on”. I told him, this quack would not get within 5-6 feet of me, never asked to even see the bites or rash. He then tells me that he doesn’t know what it could be, prescribed me a steroid, says if it continues to go consult medical advise from a dermatologist or pest control company… wut?! Wrote the reason for my visit was “dermatitis”. Walked out very frustrated and felt like all they wanted was my money. Didn’t even take the time to examine anything, or even ask questions. I do a little research, and find that their is an ointment that is used to kill mites, which is more than likely what it is. So I go back the next day, has not even been 24 hours. I ask front desk if they could just write me the script to get this ointment, cuz the steroids he prescribed won’t actually kill anything, the problem will still exist. Was told no, I would have to schedule another visit, pay another visit fee. So I’m penalized cuz this jackwagon wanted a quick turn over and failed to do his job. My insurance sucks, so I don’t have a lot of options as far as places to go. But I will NEVER go back to an urgent care that is looking for a quick buck and turnover, ie this place. Also if you plan to call, plan to be on hold for 30 mins minimum. Absolute joke of a place. Stay away

Front Desk lady is super rude. Stated she called me for my time to come in after I had been on the waiting list for 3 hours but never did. Was completely rude when I attempted to speak to her like she’s rather be somewhere else. Was rude to at least 3 other patients that I heard of as well, not really sure why she works there. Will never go back and will actively advise others not to go.

I’ve been to this location several times and love it. I’ve been to other Urgent cares -and been really disappointed. About the visit I had today though. This was the best visit I’ve ever had at any urgent care ever. I did the call ahead option and they got me in and out extremely quickly. All of the staff was very kind, caring you can tell they truly care about people, even the receptionist. The doctor was amazing!! He listened to me which sometimes doesn’t always happen at other places. I would recommend this place and give it five stars. Loved loved, loved my experience today!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I took my sick daughter to access medical urgent care on 119th and western around 6:45 pm on Sunday night they did not closed until 8:00pm so I got there with my daughter she was complaining about her throat hurting. So when we got there we where turned away. Simply because of the fact they wanted to leave early that is the only reason. That was not right they had an hour and a half before they closed. I told them to give me there corporate phone number so can talk to them about it. So I went somewhere else where they treated us right away. There is no excuse for that kind of treatment.

Great resource for urgent care needs. The front desk staff is always pleasant and the nurse was wonderful. Dr. Adams is a great addition to the team. Thank you for taking such good care of me and my foot.

The staff is so kind. The lady doctor that I just seen, forgot her name don’t know how... who works on saturdays is wonderful!! I absolutely love it here. They do their best to figure out exactly what is wrong with you. They were so sweet to my eleven month old boy. I absolutely love the staff. It’s such a clean environment. I have absolutely all good things to say. They truly made my visit so good and my day so great.

Horrible. For starters the lady in the front was talking badly about a patient (HIPAA???) and then people who were walk-ins went before me when I made an appointment! I sat there for like 30 mins and no one acknowledged me at all. Gross.

SO SO HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY!! The doctor and nurses showed real concern for me. I’ve been sick on and off for about two months and this was my first experience where they actually sat down with me and we tried to figure out what was going on. Genuine concern and quality care. Definitely recommend and this will be my go to urgent care from now on!

I made an appointment, I showed up early even. Then when I go to the front desk she makes me re due the paperwork. Takes an hour to get me back past the time of my appointment. The woman at the front desk was eating Cheetos, and playing on her phone. I wait until ver 30 minutes for the doctor even though a Covid test takes 15 minutes. Overall it was all horrible I was there for about an hour and 50min because they forgot my paperwork for my job. To say the least I’m very irritated.

Came for my nephew and we made an appointment for 4 pm. Got there early told him his name and the witchy old hag at the front desk who was too worried about her iced tea asked us to wait in the car and we did. We sat in the car for an hour and watched 5 other people go in before us and then she says oh you need to finish paper work and your not even checked in so itll be a wait. She was so rude and and just seemed irritated for no reason. Get better desk people. Not that they care at all but we wont be back!

Took my elderly mom to the clinic on SW 119th and western. I was very impressed with the care we received! The front desk worker (rachelle) and nurse (Jocelyn) were very professional and kind to us. Easy check in process. Had me sit in my car while filling out the paperwork on my phone. The wait showed 30 people in front of me but it only took about 10 minutes to get called in. Everyone in the office was super sweet and the whole experience was quick and easy.

The staff are friendly and professional. Even though they were working on Christmas Eve they still had smiles on their face and made me feel comfortable. I was in and out in about 30mins and they were pretty busy. If you are trying to decided where to go, I would highly recommend this one!

Walked in was told appointments only. Only available appointment was 4 hours out but my son had to be seen. While I was waiting I seen online there was an earlier slot. There was only 1 person in the lobby the place was dead but we waited. Now I go to Classen Urgent Care!!

To say that they were amazing would be an understatement. We actually live about 30 minutes away but went to an access medical that was closer (one on 15th and post) and was told that there was a 2.5 hour wait... so I called the main line and was told the one in Midwest city should have been able to get us in quicker than that, but that the one on western didn’t have a wait at all and going there was the best decision I could have made. I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed (as most moms would with a sick kid) and they (Melissa and Heather) were sweet, and prepared and already knew My daughters name and were just extremely on top of the game. The PA (Batt) was in the room immediately, did a thorough examination of my daughter and reassured me she was going to give her the right medication to knock this out. They were truly a God send and I don’t see us ever using another after hours clinic. Thank you guys!

The PA, Alex Sheppard, was great with my toddler ! He was friendly and kind. He did a great job of making my son comfortable and not scared. The only thing that bothered me was that one of the nurses smelt really bad like cigarette smoke and we were there for asthma issues, but thats not the companys fault. Overall it was a good experience . We were in and out quick. The office was clean and professional.

Worst place ever!!! Booked a virtual appointment. When time came I was never connected. While waiting to connect to our appointment (w/ my phone) I used my daughters phone to call the local number that was provided. Couldn’t get through so I used my sons phone to call the 1-800 number that was provided. Which was a total of 3 phones waiting to get through to someone. I finally got someone on the phone, 32 minutes after our scheduled appointment. Plus I was already heading to the the location. Customer service was horrible. She kept cutting me off, placing me on hold. Ladies at the clinic were just as useless as their customer service line. Quick Urgent Care is the place to go if you are in the South OKC/Moore area!! This place doesn’t even deserve a star smdh

The lady at the front was sooooo rude and unhelpful. She acted like a complete B* the moment we walked in. I will never go back because of her. Doctor was nice though but still...the lady up front. Hell no. Dont bother. And the crazy part is....I thought it was just me thinking she was rude. Nope! Stay clear of this place !! Went in on 18th, the doctor said I had an upper respretory infection and that it would wear off. I knew that wasnt the case !! I couldnt breath but the staff didnt seem to care. I called my husband to pick me up and was taken to ER at Integris South then transferred by EMSA to Integris Heart. Had heart attack and still recovering. Access Care get with it !!!!!!!!

Went there on March 2.Extremely rude lady at the front desk. Who thinks she’s so important because she works there. She should be retrained in providing a good customer service, Or at least how to smile and talk to patients . Doing data entry is not the only required skill for a front desk employeeEven during the checkout she continued to be confrontational and arrogant.At the end when I told her: I don’t like the way you talk to me, she turned her back and just left. Went in on a Saturday early afternoon they got me in & out quick. I wasnt even there an hour! Dr & staff were friendly. Ive been to other urgent care clinics and once had a Dr tell me well if your not better by Friday (went in on a Monday) call me and Ill call you some antibiotics. Not this place the Dr went ahead and prescribed me the antibiotics in case my symptoms get worse. Loved it definitely going back when I need to.

The Healthcare providers were attentive to my healthcare needs, and I noticed how they assisted and signed in other patients, and they received that same outstanding assistance with getting seen.

Please update your web page and answer your phones. If you have started only providing Covid tests fir scheduled appointments you need to update your web site. I drove to your client, to get a test. Your web site said that they are available. Being told that I could schedule an appointment in 3 days was very discouraging. I crawled out of bed for the rest, placing myself and your staff in harms way.You should also answer the phones. Being told that the phones are answered from the corporate office was frustrating. We called 3 times. The corporate office did not respond.Your staff told me, “there is nothing we can do, things are done at the corporate office”. If this is true, the corporate office needs to do a better job.I wish I could give zero stars since you provided zero assistance when I was so very sick.

Checked online and it showed no one was waiting in line. So drove 30 min to that location so I could be seen. When I got there, there was one woman waiting inside the lobby. There were only 2 cars parked out front. The front desk lady said they couldn’t see me today??? They were doing appts only? Why would your sign on your building and online say “Walk ins welcome” if you are going to turn ppl away and it wasn’t even that busy?! I understand if it were busy, but they weren’t. I even told them how far I drove, they didn’t offer any advise or try to fit me in. Just that maybe I should try to book an appt online.

He seemed kind of werid and wanted to look at her butt and made us very uncomfortable. My daughter screamed and we didnt have it. Will never go there again. Horrible experience. Dr. Adams is amazing!! He took the time to answer all my questions regarding my health and didnt try to bs me with the usual doctor responses of pushing meds. I love his demeanor and professionalism. This place is a joke. Came in for something simple and minor and they told me they could do nothing for me. They gave me no recommendation or prescription. They didnt treat me or do NOTHING for me. I asked them since they did nothing for me if I would still get billed. They assured me I wouldnt, they only bill if they treat you. They lied. I made an appointment online and called once I arrived per the sign on the door (due to covid). I told the receptionist that I was here for my appointment, and she already seemed a little put off when asking me what I was needing to be seen for. I told her I was experiencing swelling and pain in my foot. As soon as I said I wasn’t aware of any particular injury to cause the pain, she informed me that they don’t prescribe pain pills (opioids) with an accusatory tone. Cool, already starting this off as if I was an opioid seeker? I get that there’s a opioid pandemic, but should your receptionist be the one talking about this when I didn’t even request pain medications? I go on to explain what my issue was and how I just finished a medication prescribed from my PCP (for something else), and she asked why I wasn’t following up with him. I explained that it was a different issue, but either way, he wasn’t going to be available for immediate access— ya know, not like an URGENT CARE CENTER. I was somewhat annoyed and asked if I should just cancel this appointment because she clearly seemed to think I shouldn’t be there. She changed her tone a bit and we completed the process. But really, why is a receptionist having this sort of conversation with me?I had a good experience with the nurse, and the physician helped alleviate my worry. I was just wanting to get a medical professional to tell me whether I needed to go to the ER or not.The conversation with receptionist really tainted the experience though. And for that, I’d never return.The irony is that I literally help people taper from chronic/excessive opioid use.Best of luck.

I am from Alaska and in town visiting family. I must have picked something up in the airplane and finally dragged myself into this clinic. Making an appt was easy, i was seen right away, the staff is extremely courteous and kind. I felt like they cared about my health and communicated with me every step of the way. The cost was reasonable (compared to Alaska) and my visit was short, which is also different from Alaska. Highly recommend this place!

Other than having to wait two days to get an appointment once I did everything went smoothly and quickly. Staff were very nice, test results were fast! Great service.

I called access medical to schedule a covid test. I live in mustang but the mustang location always fills up fast. Now recently I had to go to the newcastle location to get a test a few days prior. I was showing all the symptoms of no taste, smell, super labored breathing and coughing. The results came back negative but the doctor said that most likely it was a false negative. I was trying to go get another test so I could be double sure and so I could possibly get compensated at work. When I was on the phone with the nurse at this location, the whole experience was super combative. She asked me if I was quarentining to wich I told her I was trying to the best of my ability to which her response was Well obviously your not if you had to come see us. When I finally made it inside (same nurse) she started asking me why I had to come all the way to this location instead of mustang. I tried explaining that they had no open spots and she said that she worked at the mustang location and they had plenty of tests and that I shouldnt have come all the way here. After she left I was sitting there just kinda shocked from the whole encounter, registration came in saying that they where not going to give me service anymore due to 2 payments from 2017 and 2018 that where not payed. I told here that during that time I was insured and that we where disputing them which I understand is on my part. However, the combativness of the two people that I had to deal with was completely uncalled for. I got up to leave and she reluctantly said that they would test me anyway due to the cares act. I sat in the room for 30 minutes and just decided this whole experience was just not worth it and walked out. I normally am a very reasonable person and understand our Healthcare workers are going through a lot right now, but these two individuals should be ashamed of themselves. If I could give zero stars I would. Super disappointing experience where normally at any other location the service is exceptional.

Don’t expect to be seen for up to two hours even if you’ve scheduled an appointment days in advance. Expect to see several walk-in’s seen before you as you wait patiently. The lady at the front desk is honesty pretty rude. Use this location as a last resort and know that access medical centers do not answer phone calls.

Everyone at this clinic was so nice. The receptionist helped me with the check in process. The nurse told me there was an other Access Medical Clinic closer to our home & pulled the map up to show me & the Nurse Practitioner was so nice & helpful. Thank you for everything you do.

My son cut his thumb and needed stitches. The PA Augi was amazing and explained everything to us.The nurse and front desk ladies were super friendly. Highly recommend going to Access for your urgent care needs.

I took my 6-year-old son in because his pediatrician was booked. All the staff here were friendly and made us feel comfortable. We will definitely use them in the future.

The lady who took my weight and Blood pressure was super nice. She made me feel good about the weight I lost in the last year since I was there last. I wasn’t thrilled about the new flu drug they prescribed me that my insurance wouldn’t cover any of. Made my time at the pharmacy more taxing than necessary for someone with the flu.

Not to happy with my experience here today. The Doctor did not examine me properly and when I spoke to the nurse about him checking my ear she checks my ear and jabs the instrument in my ear. So, now my ear really hurts.

I will never step foot in another Axcess Medical, and I highly suggest you do the same. Ive had strep throat multiple times a year for as long as I can remember, and have always come to this Axcess Medical for treatment. Everytime Im tested, it comes back negative, since they test for type A, not type B (which is what I always have.) Im immune to Amoxicillin (since Ive had it prescribed to me for the vast majority of my childhood,) it eventually stopped working for me. I waited for an hour in a room before I was seen, and wasnt given a chance to speak, as the doctor was in and out in a matter of a couple minutes and talked the entire time. The doctor, Jared, then prescribed me Amoxicillin and made the prescription unfillable for 3 days. When I went back in after realizing what I was prescribed, he changed it for me, but then made it unfillable for 4 days... I was then rudely told to find a primary care physician. It only takes one terrible visit to lose a life-long client.

Very disappointed in this place. Went in sick and coughing, saw a PA, which are pointless to see. Gave me a medicine not covered by insurance because is just one over the counter med mixed with another over counter med. The PA was so quick to get out of room he never listened to anything that was going on. On top of that they consider themselves specialist so u have to pay specialist price on insurance. Was a complete waste of 60 dollars. Highly recommend going elsewhere, they are just a revolving door to get paid and not help the patient. If could give zero stars I would.

Everything about this office is amazing! The aesthetics were very nice, well kept and organized. Everyone of the staff was friendly, approachable and informative. The wait time for being a new patient was almost non-existent.

Staff was unfriendly, and unhelpful. I got prescribed a $95 medicine and acted like that was my only option. After I found out how much it was I had to call and wait for them to get my message to get me a cheaper option. I had to go back to access medicine because they didnt send my prescription the first time. I will not go back to this location.

I used to bring my daughter here when her doctor couldnt see her for sicknesses, the doctors used to be nicer. I dont know if its because they changed, but this male doctor was rude and impatient the entire time. I just left because it seemed like he didnt care at all and I dont want her to be scared of doctors, never coming here again.

I came in to have something rather personal taken care of. I had looked @ my options & decided my easiest was to go to an urgent care after googling and asking around. I requested STD/ STI testing. I’m taken to a room where I’m told a doctor will come talk to me.. I can hear everything in this room. Literally everything. A female doctor comes in and rather than being approachable and sitting down to a speak with me she stands above me almost intimidating and says loudly says MULTIPLE times “what does std testing mean to you” I mean this women repeated this question about four times. I was so confused. I told her twice it meant I wanted tested and she asked again. She made it so awkward, uncomfortable, she was unprofessional, and honestly disrespected my rights as a patient. I was absolutely mortified. I couldn’t believe what was going on in this urgent care room. She then preceded to make inappropriate comments regarding her receptionist to ME and pricing regarding my visit. I will never come back here. I could hear everything in the other rooms. & I know people heard what was going on in my room. My privacy shouldn’t have been compromised.

I called earlier today to inquire about a covid test, and was told I needed to make an appointment. So I made an appointment for 6:30 that was the only time they had available at 5:40 I received a text message that stated that they had met capacity for covid testing and they would be available again tomorrow. to which I called to inquire about my appointment and was told it was walk-in only.that is information that I should have been told when I called in the first place, and now I have sat and waited all day to take my test which is unavailable to me. I only left one star because I had to

Went for a covid test. Called to check in and waited in the car until they could see me. They open the door and get the test and your information while you stand outside. Everyone was quick and professional. The process was explained clearly.

The staff was awesome, they got me right in and took care of my needs. I was only here for about an hour, and that was with taking xrays. The staff was very friendly and the dr explained everything to me, Im very happy with my visit!

Access has a great organized system in place to see patients during the pandemic. I know the staff must be exhausted, but they could not have been nicer. Very efficient and great customer care.

From the nurse to the dr they were very patient with my 6 yr old not wanting to have the strep test done in her. I have been to this location several times and have always been pleased with the outstanding, professional care.

Terrible experience. Went in because I was having issues with my breathing for about two weeks and my doctor has cancelled my appointment due to weather so I went here as a last resort. The RN asked the normal questions about what issues I was having. When the PA came in, she did no tests, didnt listen to my lungs, literally did no examination of any type. Told me she thought it was anxiety and gave me a number to a doctor in Midwest City who just opened an office. She knew the number and address by heart. When I looked up the doctor, he and the PA shared the same last name. Sounded like instead of making any effort to help me, she is farming new patients for a family member with a new office. Absolutely upset and disgusted. Breathing issues are so serious and I went in looking for help and instead got treated like a product as opposed to a person in need. Will never go here again.

I was told nothing was wrong with me and goes to another doctor and I have a urinary tract infection.... The doctors office seem like they did not want to care for me when I was there... They was nicely rude about not giving me the care I needed. I will not go back to this doctors office.

My daughter was bleeding from her ear so we went here as it was the closest place. When we got there every staff member but one were just apathetic. When the doctor came in, I think Dr. Shelton or Sheldon, he had absolutely no bedside manner and just told us that she had a tremendous amount of blood in her ear and needed to go to her ENT doctor. That was all he offered. He was not friendly or reassuring at all. I will never go back there.

Convenient access for minor situations. Staff and Certified Medicsl Assistant not especially warm and medical assistant actually was rude in her tone and approach. When people don’t feel well they need compassion and kindness. PA was attentive, quick, understanding, and professional. I am a nurse and felt he made a sound diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Would choose another clinic if convenient just based on CMA attitude.

I received wonderful service from the nurses to the doctor. I especially appreciated how Dr. Adams explained what was happening to me in both medical terms and in plain English.

Took my husband here because our normal doctor was out for Christmas. Every year at this time he gets a cold that turns worse, trying to prevent this so Dr. Hanh Tran PA came in to check him and said she is not prescribing anything for it nothing wrong basically, after they took our $60 co-pay. We tried explaining clearly why we were there and this happens but she has no people skills what so ever. So now on our way to the hospital before it gets worse. I wouldnt recommend my dying dog to go there. Beware

Wow! Fast and Friendly! From the checking to triage to the doctor they were all very friendly and professional!!!

We were able to get in on Christmas eve as walk-ins. The wait wasnt too long and the staff was very kind. Ill be returning there for our Urgent care needs.

I had an appointment at 9:30 didn’t get seen till 11am. Staff was friendly but the doctor was not. Access Medical is a good company. However this location needs improvement. I will not reschedule at this location again.

Wait was too long after sign in. Otherwise, i was treated very well by reception, nurses and doctors.

They did a great job. They got us in a room to see doctor in no time.

Went in there office the night before last and was very sick I walked out without any medicine I had a cold was up all night last night coughing and called first thing this morning to try and get some medicine I was told they would get back with me and by 3:00 this afternoon I still did not hear from them I called back and was told they were too busy and give them time. When I went in I was the only patient there thats how busy they were. I would rather not go anywhere than to go there I dont understand how people can be treated like that. I guess they just needed my money to pay employees to stand around and talk to each other......

I received very courteous and thoughtful treatment. My time with the doctor was not rushed and everything was explained well. I was very pleased and so gave 5 stars.

Made an online appointment. Why? 5 people, walkins, according to the text they sent me went ahead of us. Its 3 and we still havent seen a doctor. They need more efficient staff!

Saw a nurse practitioner not a doctor and she said my son tested negative for strep and both flu strains but prescribed him tamiflu and antibiotics anyway. Didnt even try to figure out or talk about the fact that is was probably just a cold virus. Then nurse handed us discharge papers and said He was negative for strep and both flu strains, but we are treating him for the flu I am guessing because he was exposed to the flu?They really dont care to figure out what is really wrong, they just guess, prescribe and send you on your way so they can get another paying person in after you as quick as possible. It would have been nice to see a doctor, not a nurse practitioner.

I’ve been to Access multiple times in the past 18 months. I’ve always had a great experience. Each provider has cared for my kids very well. Thanks!

Came in very ill today with pneumonia, and from the front desk, nurse intake, X-rays, to Dr. Adams, they were all very professional, personable, and most helpful every step of the way! Hopefully, not soon, but I will come back again!

Got a covid test done here & it was quick and easy process. Staff are nice & safety protocols are in place. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get a quick test done here.

They’re great for walk-ins and accidents. Later hours are convenient and I’ve usually gotten in and out fairly quickly.

Visited the establishment and had no issues. Front Desk for very professional, all the staff I encountered were top notch. Based on see the reviews from other facilities that are considered Urgent Care establishments I would recommend this establishment.

Staff is friendly and efficient. They managed my visit quickly and with professionalism regardless of what is going on medically right now. A+

Thank God for them. They helped me with my Father in law who has been in memory care in a wheelchair. They made him feel wonderful during a very painful injury. I love these guys

Its always quite pleasant, but the p.a or doctor was kinda lazy, I came in with possibly a viral infection he didnt test my lympnodes to actually see what it is cause Ive had symptoms for over 2 weeks and it just seems like maybe something more. Im not a doctor but I wish he couldve take an initiative

Went in for covid test and was met with the most burnt out and unprofessional nurse or tech that I have dealt with in many years... Told the individual she needs to work on her professionalism as I walked out of the triage room with her still berating me and my spouse who was also a checked in patient in their system... Just FYI its not ok for your staff to yell out about killing people... Will be contacting the Oklahoma Boards of Nursing along with the Boards of Ostepathic examiners and the medical board of supervision...

Hour wait. But I needed to be seen. 3 people walked out. Still waiting on dr call my rx to my pharmacy. Waited at the pharmacy for 30minutesL p
