Sonora Quest Laboratories

If you have 3-4 hours of your life to lose and sit shoulder to shoulder breathing the air from 20-30 people sitting in a small room waiting and waiting and waiting…. then this place is your utopia ! Or you can sit in your car a literal 3 + hours waiting for a text that its now your turn little sheeple. I went to Lab Corp, took total of 10 minutes including the blood draw. 3.5 hours later after I was home I get a text that its now my turn at Sonora Quest….thats just Banner-rifficly impressive. Have fun !

Marnie was fantastic!I showed up on a Friday around 10am, and while the receptionist lady was at best coldly efficient, my experience with the actual lab technician Marnie was wonderful.I checked in, sat down and was called a few minutes later by Marnie. She then helped me print my lab order, found that my California insurance covered everything, and took my blood painlessly and quickly. I could not be happier with this place and am impressed that Payson has such a professional lab!

I checked in at 10:30am I waited very patiently. I asked how much longer and was told by the receptionist it would be 20 more minutes. It is now 12:05 and I was never seen. Other patients were bumped up before me in the queue. I don’t recommend this place at all. I DONT appreciate being lied to and not being provided with customer service.

I had to wait on hold, to set a double appointment for my Dad and I. Although, the wait time was a bit long (approx 12-15 min), Ashley got both of our appointments set together the vary next day. Outstanding service, thank you

Easy fast and painless. Great service. The lady that took my blood was awesome. Didnt even feel any. Great experience.

I have been coming here at least every few months for over five years, and I have only good things to say about everyone here! Always professional, helpful, and kind. Marnie and Tammy are the best! I also like that Sonora Quest makes it easy to make appointments online.

Update: I walked in, signed in at the kiosk, and they drew my blood after a medium,/short wait. 3 years after my original review below, and the blood draw was still AMAZING! My update is that it remains the best place EVER for a blood draw. Thanks, you guys!~~~~~~~~~~~~My first trip here I was impressed by the friendly and very effective staff, then the young lady took my blood and I could hardly tell when she put the needle in, very impressive.On my second trip some time later, the staff was again stellar but I got a different lady to take my blood. I thought theres no way shell be as good as the first girl!. And she was, if anything, a little better! Unbelievable! This is THE PLACE if you have to get a blood draw! No kidding!

Honestly would give NEGATIVE reviews if I could!! Where to start? They are slower than molasses! Front desk person checked in 2 people in the 40 minutes I stood in a line that went out the door! Zero customer service! Do not honor your appointments! I finally left 2 HOURS after my appointment time! Over all a complete and utter JOKE! I would rather drive down to PHX than deal with this cluster ever again!

I think it is ridiculous how you make people stand outside and wait. Yes you open at 7am and people get there early, why can’t people come in earlier and wait in the waiting room? It is very inconsiderate to make old people who can’t stand for long, stand outside in the elements.

Technicians are wonderful but the older lady at the front desk is a witch, always rude grumpy

Doctor ordered blood tests. I came in fasting for these tests without an appointment. Appointments are taken, but the fastest way is to come in and wait. I came in mid-morning and did not wait more than 10 minutes. The Phlebotomist was efficient and she did not hurt me, which is to her credit, since I am not an easy draw. I much prefer Sonora Quest Labs to the other lab in town.

My only beef is with scheduling. Its nearly impossible to make an early morning appointment for a blood test online.

Very unprofessional, i was on the phone with my elderly grandmother and i heard them yell at her because she was at the wrong location and they didnt take her insurance. She started crying and i heard the, laughing on the phone. HORRIBLE women working here.

The whole Team in Payson Az are AWSOME!! 8yr and always professional they are like family!! Im so blessed to have them 💓

I have been coming to Sonora since they opened in Payson. Today I went in for my morning appt, was a couple of minutes late and standing in line to check in when the the receptionist called out to me that they opened at 7 in the morning to come back then!!! I have worked in offices for 20 years, and have never seen such unprofessional behavior. Not sure I will use them again!!!!

This is the worst lab I have ever been to in my life. Dont worry about making an appointment they will see you about 2 hours after your appointment time

4 PM is WAY too early for a Sonora Quest laboratory to close. My baby has had 7 days of diarrhea. I was expected by Urgent Care to get a sample to take in to Sonora Quest to see if its viral or bacterial. I was able to get a sample at about 4 PM, and will have to wait ANOTHER day to see whats going on, thanks to these ridiculously early closing hours. I know this isnt Phoenix, but 5 or 6 would be a much more reasonable closing time. Most medical facilities, even in small towns are open until at least 5 PM. Ridiculous!

If i could rate them lower than one, i would. This place has horrible staff. I cannot believe how horrible and rude the reception is here. I would not send my worst enemies here.

Great facility and staff. Phlebotomist Marnie rocks!! You won’t even know she’s taking blood. Love the fact you can make an appointment and get in and out quickly.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION-PEOPLE BEHIND THE COUNTER ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL-TODAY THEY YELLED AT AN ELDERLY WOMAN AND THEN PROCEEDED TO LAUGH AT HER WHEN THEY MADE HER CRY-CLEARY THIS IS NOT THE PROFESSION FOR THEM- THE CITY IS HIRING SEWER WORKERS MAYBE WORKING THERE WOULD BE A BETTER USE OF YOUR TIME-AND THE COMMUNITY WOULD BENEFIT MORE-SHAME ON ALL OF YOU-SHAME ON YOU-

Amazing. I was highly scared of getting my blood drawn due to one bad incident, the amazing lady working not only took her time but made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. 10/10 will get my blood drawn from here again.

Awful place, horrible and rude reception. I was there today and the reception was yelling at an older woman to the point of tears. Absolutely terrible and I will not be coming back and supporting this business ever again.

Even with an appointment you wait at least 1/2 hour to be call. This place is always a waiting game whether you have appointment or not.

People go in, but seldom come out.

These vampires are very kind,knowledgeable, and pleasant. No matter what you have to have done they make sure you understand the entire process.

The people in the lab were very nice and performed their work on an up scale .nice invironment especially( Marnie)

Took forever to get through the line. Office staff could be much more friendly and helpful.
