Sonora Quest Laboratories

This used to be a great place to go. I scheduled an appointment for my elderly mother, I received a text confirmation of her appointment and when she got there no one was at the front desk to help her check in, they didn’t have her on the schedule, they couldn’t find the orders in the system from the Doctors office, there were several people waiting who needed help but were told they no longer have employees at the front. Thank goodness for the kind lady waiting who offered to help. My mom’s appointment was at 1:30 and she didn’t get out of there until 3:30. That is ridiculous just to have blood drawn. Not everyone understands or have the ability to use the self check in kiosk. Companies don’t want to pay people and instead they put more work on the ones who are there. The changes to this place are horrible. Where is the costumer service?

Lady working the desk was completely rude and no where to sit. i asked if my lab work was sent in and she couldnt tell me. the last time there was an issue and i ended up waiting 3 hours while fasting only to be told yea we didnt get anything. sorry. i planned on waiting a while but had me write my name on paper didnt ask for insurance cards, dob or if i should use the kiosk. she said she would ask the other workers. i had only been there one other time years go so i had no idea what to do. after putting my info in at the kiosk, which wasnt really any help to me. i waited outside like it instructed me to do. was then sent a text that told me it was my turn. someone was at the desk so i waited over 45 minutes now after the text so i finally spoke with her and she told me to write my dob on the paper and turned around. ummm... ok. so i sit back down then she has all the other people there behind the counter talking. she then just starts talking really loudly saying yea we didnt get anything under that name. so sorry and smiles. then i start walking out. oh you forgot your card (while laughing). why do people even bother working jobs in this field if they cant help others or try to be nice. she needs a job in the corner away from people. never going here again. def dont recommend. waste of time and energy.

Very efficient blood draw laboratory. Office is small and there is often a short wait of 10-20 minutes for walk ins. At more crowded times, walk ins can wait for 30 minutes or more. The laboratory usually processes results quickly in about a day or two.

Waited too long. Now normally it wouldnt be a problem but I observed employees taking behind the counter for 5 minutes when they could have helped one or two patients. I Left.

This is a very very understaffed location! I however, was able to walk in and get my labs done towards the end of the day around 4:00 when they close at 5:00. I was very very grateful the women were all wonderful, the check-in desk was clean and germ-free it appeared..... And the entire waiting room was packed full of people. They will give you the option to wait outside and have them text you when your name comes up and it is your turn. That is what I did and it worked perfectly and although they kept apologizing for the long wait time I was absolutely impressed with how quick it was. They are all very courteous they are very professional its very clean and very fast. I definitely give this place an excellent reading because I have Labs done different places and I appreciate your professionalism, personable service and the clean environment.You ladies are doing wonderful thank you for your hard work!

Tonya was an incredible phlebotomist! she spoke with me about so many things to distract me from an otherwise lengthy lab request. i couldn’t recommend this location specifically Tonya more!!!!

We went for blood test for our 3 years daughter we were so scared she would cry and be in pain but the nurse her name is Amanda was an angel sent to us she was so sweet she took care of our daughter and she was laughing the whole time while taking her blood test will come again for sure here for any lab tests thank you Amanda for everything 🙏🏻🫶🏻

Brought my 2 year old here for blood work after a different lab kept missing his veins. Elizabeth was AMAZING with him! Got him in one stick and was able to get all the blood needed. She was so good with my son too talking to him and keeping him distracted the whole time. Will definitely be back if we need more labs done!

Ill be the first to admit that Im not sure how a lab should run, but I know that this one has horrible operations. We waited nearly two hours and, while we were a walk in, there were people here with an appointment waiting nearly as long. There would be periods where no one was being called back, yet we would see groups of staff standing around the front desk, so Im not sure who was even doing what. There was extreme disorganization and it was a long, awful experience.

There’s no customer service here. I hate Sonora. Can’t get in touch with anyone. Online doesn’t show you anything about labs being received. Garbage company.

The service here is a joke. Showed up today to fine no one working the counter....... for two hours. Look elsewhere

Super fast and easy process from start to finish! Elizabeth was so nice and she loves her job! It’s not easy to do what she does - but she did it with a smile and made me feel at ease!

This is my go-to location for my bloodwork... I usually always have a good experience but yesterday was exceptional. Miss Elizabeth found out I was nervous but easily talked to me to calm me down and then just chatted while she drew my blood. After she was finished I got woozy like I normally do but she took all of the proper measures to make sure I was good before standing up. I definitely felt like my mom was taking care of me which is special! I would like to let Soronan Quest know that I will need Elizabeth to draw my blood.. each time.. for the rest of my life please ♡

Awesome front office staff and phlebotomist! Wait was reasonable for not making an appointment. Highly recommended

Went for a blood and pee test, staff was engaged and kind, the nice vampire lisa was an absolute delight with a sense of humor! Thank you for providing customer service on this level to everyone. Also my wait was less than 20 minutes with no appointment. Worth the drive people.

I read mixed reviews, so I wasnt sure what I was going into. But I got in right away, and had a really really good phlobotamist. Im not always an easy stick, and he was GOOD. I barely felt anything. The up front staff were young and not as business like as Id hoped, but once you got to the back, the guy doing the actual draw was awesome.

Had a 9am appointment. Lobby is clearing their walk ins before my sons scheduled fasting appointment. Will never use this place again. Have always had issues with wait times but this is the worst. Apparently appointments mean nothing. And timely appointments are impossible to get. Don’t expect to get one earlier than two weeks out.

I had a great experience here yesterday, from the front desk staff back to the phlebotomists. All were super kind and helpful. Thank you for making this experience a pleasant one!

I had two STAT orders for bloodwork. Got called back within 20min which was nice,but then had to wait 8hrs for results. I called the main testing facility and confirmed the turn around time on STAT was 4hrs. When I went two days later with my 2nd STAT order I set an alarm to call at 4hrs if I hadnt heard anything. I was advised after 4hrs my labs were just picked up and heading to PHX for testing and was quoted a loose turn around time of 2-3hrs. Making it a minimum of 7hrs before possibly getting results. This is unacceptable and highly professional. My orders were STAT for a reason,and that didnt seem to matter.

I went to the Thunderbird Rd lab near Boswell Hospital the beginning of June and also returned last week. I arrived around 8:30 to just before 9am. On both occasions people were sitting in the Hall and outside since the waiting room was full and I was told it would be a minimum of a two-hour wait! Today I decided to try the Peoria location arriving around 8:45 a.m. the staff in the lobby and in the lab where excellent! I was at the lab for about 40 minutes and Cassy and back is an excellent phlebotomist ! Everyone was very helpful and I Would Not Hesitate to go back again!

My experience was terrible. I walked in with a fast pass from my OB. I tried to present it to Carla when I walked in. She wouldnt even make eye contact with me when she shooed me off to the kiosk. Then finally when I was called up to the window Lisa took my information while Carla checked the lady who came in right after me saying she didnt have an appointment. That lady got called in before me and when I went back to the window to find out why and what the point of a fast pass was when I waited 40 min already watched 13 people be called before me. I will drive elsewhere and not be treated that way. Thanks for false information and making me late to my next appointment. GO ELSEWHERE!!!

My appointment was 1:15 I was taken back at 1:53!!!

This Lab is It’s professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about what’s covered under Medicare and guides accordingly. They are efficient, organized, and seek for you to have the best experience!The front desk receptionist Karla and the lab tech Lisa, as well were extremely personable and just pleasant to be around. This is the only lab that we prefer and we have been to many. I highly recommend this lab

I scheduled a glucose test online at this facility. They let me schedule an appointment at 10:45 am. This test consist of fasting for 8-10hrs. I called the lab to confirmed my appointment and I fasted. I went to the facility and I checked in. The lady (Kassandra) at the front tells me that they cannot draw my blood for the 4 hrs because they will be close at 12pm. I asked why wouldn’t they tell me this when I was scheduling my appointment or when I call to confirmed. I am 6 months pregnant and I have been fasting. She tells me that its my fault that I should have come in at 9 am. I told her no one told me this so then she goes to blame my doctor even though they have nothing to do with the time of the appointment. I would have rather they accept responsibility for their incompetence than blame other people. Then goes on to schedule another appointment for me and she tries to schedule me on Thanksgiving day which they are closed that day. I am extremely upset for this waste of time.

This clinic is staffed with very nice people, and if you have an appt they do take you on time. At least that has been my experience. THE ONLY THING ..... I do wish they opened earlier. When you are fasting and cannot get in before 9:00 AM it is a bit inconvenient. I have gone to other labs that open at 7:00, which makes sense to me especially for those people who need to get to work. So, I like the lab but do NOT like their hours.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. I agree with the recent post about this place. The girl that checked me in, Rosalie, is the worst. Shes rude, dismissive and acts like the people coming in have an awful stink about them. You would think a smile is something she never heard of. Had my doctor not asked me to go specifically to this location I would have walked out and taken my business elsewhere. I know I have a choice on where to go, trust me it will never be this place again.

Just left and had to say it was the most unpleasant, rude, and dismissing experience to say the least, specifically with the receptionist. I never leave reviews for anything but had to share. This receptionist Talked to me like a peasant in front of a new employee she was “training”. The company should be ashamed for letting someone as unprofessional, and down right arrogant as this individual to represent them. I did not rebuttal with any disrespect or anger, so I can’t even give her the benefit of the doubt that I was being unruly. Id definitely recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

I went to this location to have 4 tests done. They withdrawal blood but Sonora have done only 2 tests out of 4. Few weeks later I went back to the lab with the referral and I told them what happened and asked them to perform the 2 missed ones that were not completed the first time.Guess what? They withdraw blood again and they tested the same ones.I would not recommend this place to anyone.You can not relay on this Sonora Quest Lab especially when you have a health condition that requires you to have the test done in time.

I took my one year old son here for a lead test. It was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad experience. The technician tortured my son in trying to find a vein to draw blood from his left arm. She poked him multiple times and used the needle to try and fish around under his skin for a vein and was unable to draw the blood that she needed for the lead test. When she gave up on drawing any blood from his left arm, she suggested that she was going to try his right arm. My response was like h@&% you are, you have tortured my son enough, I will take my son elsewhere and quickly left this lab. My son was already frightened of needles from the routine childhood immunizations he has received, but I am afraid he was further traumatized from this extremely negative and painful experience. I would recommend that you find somewhere else to have them draw your blood. I called Sonora Quest to register my dissatisfaction and complaint and was told that someone would be getting back to me in regards to my sons experience at this clinic and never ever received a call back.

The WORST!!!! Waited well over an hour, past my appointment time. Please go to a different location. The staff is ugly and RUDE!!!!

Everyone else has shared what a great team and I agre, Janae is the bomb. I also agree about the fasting. Hate it since I start my job at 445am, and having to wait until 10am to eat kinda sucks!!! Type 1.

Ive had to get a lot of blood work done lately. Theyre the best!! From the front to the phlebotomist, everyone is always so pleasant.

Today is Monday 1:25PM July 3rd, 2023, these dummies website said they were open today till 4PM and closed on 4th JULY, traveled 25 MILES TO GET HERE and there closed.

Everyone there is professional yet friendly & comforting, especially for those who are less than excited about getting a blood draw. Janae is AMAZING!

The people that work there are super nice. However, was supposed to receive a phone call with test results. After not receiving the call, their phone service is impossible to get through and to speak to a person.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Great Phlebotomist of 25 years made my experience just superb. Go out of your way to come here if possible.-Captain-

After checking in we waited outside, they called us in and Kelsey drew blood she was very pro.we recommend it to anyone.

If you dont mind waiting a little bit. This a great convinent lab to go to.. Staff are friendly. But if you are in a rush... This is not the place for you

Do not trust the kiosk to sign in without then checking in. Waited an hour just to watch people after me get in.
