Sonora Quest Laboratories

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service from Sonora Quest Laboratories after 20 years of being a loyal customer. Recently, I was sent to collections without any prior communication or explanation regarding an unexpected charge on my account.This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially for long-time clients who have consistently used their services. It feels like they don’t value their customers at all.I urge anyone considering Sonora Quest Laboratories to think twice. Poor customer service and lack of transparency are red flags that should not be ignored.

Do not go here. They do not submit claims to your insurance - but ask you for your insurance card with your paperwork. Because they were too lazy to run my insurance I now have $1400 balance for BLOODWORK and had to do THEIR job and submit my own claim to insurance. Which should have been done 6 months ago.

I made an appointment for my son,thought that I had made the confirmation on their website. Went in 30 minutes before our actual appointment. The front desk guy told me that its not on their system, and that I should have the bar code for confirmation.I ask him if we could just get the works done since were in there,thinking I made our appointment for the day and time.He said appointments only.Minutes later,I ask if he could just make an appointment for us just to make sure. Instead of doing that,he told me to go to Mc Dowell since they accept walk-in which far from us, and he gave me phone number to call for appointment. So I was not happy of how the service here.And maybe pls fix your website. Never again.

Arrived early in the morning without an appointment for routine bloodwork hoping to be squeezed in. Not a patient in sight but several employees sitting around chatting. They said they have no openings until the following week and didn’t even offer to schedule me just referred me to a location 5 miles away. Not very efficient or helpful.

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and they squeezed me in an hour before my scheduled appointment. The phlebotomist was so friendly and funny and she made the experience easier. She was super efficient and I literally didnt feel a thing. She took 3 or 4 vials so I was there for a few minutes. The wait was fine and the space is in a convenient location. Its small so if you arrive and there are quite a few people, be patient they are great and will take care of you.

Get fairly simple blood work on Monday. Spend Thurs & Friday getting my phone call transferred all over the place to find out the status. Finally get a hold of someone Friday and they tell me they didnt collect the right sample for my test and that I need to come back in. No one ever called me, I had to call them to find this out. Very frustrating, will use Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp going forward.

TERRIBLE experience with the lady at the front desk. She is so rude I am SHOCKED they still have her here. This is the second time she has turned me away and Ive had to reschedule my appointment twice now. I ordered my own test today and she said I had to have a doctors note. I told her I did not have one. She said I cant do the tests without a doctors note so I stood there trying to call my doctor and she never made a comment that I could do the test since I ordered them myself. I went outside the lab and the other two older gentlemen were also saying they were treated badly. Makes me sad for them as well.I got home, checked the website, realized I could order my own tests so I called her. She told me she NEVER said that and would let me do the test without a doctors note. She was extremely rude on the phone so I asked for her supervisor name, Amelia.I have left Amelia a voicemail and described all of the above and even asked her to check the cameras on my experience but have not heard back. I am sure Sonora will leave a comment on here apologizing but this is not the only bad review they have on this employee. I will be going to a different lab from here on out.

Great lab! Ive had to go here twice for two blood draws. It is appointment only and its super easy to schedule online! Its easy to locate right next to the pharmacy in Safeway. Ive arrived early both times to my Friday afternoon appointments and been in and out within 10 min! Friendly staff as well.

The people here were very impersonal. I was called back and then not spoken to again. Just taped my arm up and jabbed the needle in! The woman literally stabbed me so aggressively with the needle it left a bruise. I donate blood all the time and have had my blood drawn numerous times as well, and I have never had a painful experience when being stuck until now. It was so unnecessarily aggressive.

Went in thinking I had an appointment (turns out I never actually booked it). I was so worried I wouldnt get back to work on time if I had to wait. They got me in without an appointment in less than 5 minutes, and I was there a total of 15. They were very nice, the person taking my blood made me feel very comfortable!Thank you!

I do bloodwork every 3 months and discovered this one inside Safeway. They do a great job but you must have a appointment (easy to set up on their website)

Arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and the clerk was on a personal phone call and refused to put the phone down the entire time she checked me in. By providing less than attentive service, she missed the additional orders that were submitted by my provider.

The lady working the desk is extremely rude. Idk if she was just having a bad day or what. But she was also rude to the older gentleman that was ahead of me. Not exactly the warm welcoming you’d expect when getting your blood drawn. Another lady had told me she was extremely rude as well.

Best idea ever! Extremely friendly service. SO convenient. LOVE the fact that you can make an appointment and that its in a Safeway! I was in and out in 15 minutes. No more putting off having to get labs done because of having to leave work for at least 2 hours . They need more of these popups in other safeways as well as more facilities that take appointments. Genius!

Not sure why all the bad reviews. My appointment was right on time (early actually) the staff were friendly and efficient. I had my results about 24 hours after testing. I like that this location is small and requires appointments.Thanks Sonora teAm

Had a quick and easy blood draw that is required from my university. I ordered my own test and scheduled an appointment online and had no issues.

First of all, I love having a Sonora Quest Lab close to where I live, its very convenient! This lab is very clean, the phlebotomist very friendly and very good in drawing blood. In particular, JENNIFER P. I asked her to use a butterfly needle as Ive had really bad experiences in the past since my veins roll and hard to detect or find. I told her I usually end up having 2 or 3 sticks before blood can be drawn and end up having a large bruise from the site. She readily and gently drew my blood using the needle I requested for in one stick, no sweat. She was very competent and easily drew the amount of blood required by my doctor. I was very relieved, even said to her, why that was easy. I would ask for her should I need my blood drawn again in the future. Shes definitely an asset to this lab!!! I give her 👍👍!

It has been 3 weeks since I got my lab work done. No results, and they won’t call me back.

This is the worst Sonara Quest center. They messed up my wifes blood work twice. The drew the blood and after 7 days we got a report from the lab with a not NO Specimen received. I made a big mistake opting for this center. The interns who draw blood are least experienced. After drawing blood twice for the same test and losing the specimen. They asked us to re-read the blood again. I AM SORRY GUYS MY WIFES blood is not free. You need to fully compensate for all the goofups. It has happened to us and can happen to anyone.

Located inside Safeway (no signs) near the Pharmacy.Location is by APPT ONLY, unlike most other locations that allow walk-ins. Only one person getting drawn and no one waiting, but they cant see me until tomorrow. This place definitely looks a lot more sketchy than the other Sonoran Quest labs...and that is saying a lot.

Im pretty sure that Tony guy works for this place. The front clerk is still rude it seems like she hates her job

The staff is rude and inconsiderate. We waited since 7 were the first ones there and the staff there opened another door so that everyone else besides my wife and I were last. There was no sign stating where we had to wait or line up. I will never use this site again or refer anyone there either. Horrible customer service, absolutely the worst Ive seen

The whole experience was fast and easy, didnt even feel the needle, Angelica was very good with the draw, will definitely go there again to get blood drawn in the future if needed.

I selected this Sonora Quest location (in Safeway next to the pharmacy) after reading the positive reviews. My phlebotomist today was Brittany who was super efficient and friendly. Very professional setting. This will always be my choice in the future.

Make an appointment beforehand. I went on a Saturday morning & there mustve been 30 people in the waiting room with more people outside. Once I figured out how to check in, it only took about 30 minutes to be seen & out of there. Great sticks.

Take my husband for labs every month. Great staff. To the haters, you get what you give. Try human kindness!

Michelle is Brilliant, she has so much experience! First time EVER any one has gotten blood on the first time, and not had to do a new one halfway through because the blood quit pumping.

The women working there hardly communicated with me despite me asking questions. I didnt feel comfortable with their hesitancy. I asked what was getting tested and the technician couldnt even tell me. Wont be going back.

Drove around looking for lab. No sign nothing. After 15 min called and find out it’s in a Safeway store! Seriously no signage no logo to tell you that it’s it the store!! 35+ years in nursing and this is the first time in a grocery store to drop off labs. Google maps should have something in there too.

Quick and easy! The employees were pleasant and personable. This place is by appointment only but the appointment setting process was very simple.

It says walk-ins on the Sonora Quest page. I walked in before. The two ladies were texting and there were no clients there. They obviously had time and availability, but they have no compassion for their patients.

Horrible experience.. stay away !! The older front desk person is extremely RUDE.. I’ve never seen such poor customer service in my life.. they need to fire her, since it doesn’t seem she cares about her job or customers.

Ugh... you can never make a morning appt and the place is always packed. The staff seem overworked or not very happy to be there. Not the place to go if need to get out in a reasonable period of time

The current staff is a phenomenonal!!! They are well organized and their draws dont hurt. Now we only go to this location.

Your site does not work for scheduling, and there is NO way to get a human and answer the question or correct the sign in.Im requesting my Dr rewrite the order to another lab!

They are quick and polite I drove like a half hour just to come to this one by appt of course glad I did highly recommended

Its inside the Safeway! There is a great staff in here and the Starbucks on the way out is a nice stop before heading to work.

My sos’s arm was bruised and in pain for about 2 weeks after blood work done here.

Worst place and bad staff! I went to the wrong place by accident and they refused to help me! There was No one and I mean NOONE there to be helped and they still refused to do my blood work!

Refused to help me because Google map doesnt say by appointment only. Drove there for no service.

No indication from web site this is by appointment only. Wasted my time by not posting that also on web site are not correct. opens at 07:00 not 06:30.
