My wife and I welcomed our son into this world this last week and could not have done so without the help and expertise Dr. Adams at ORM provided. As a same sex couple, we didn’t know what to expect and we’re uncertain of how we would be treated as patients and as a couple, however after working with Dr.Adams and her entire team at ORM, our fears were laid to rest as we received exceptional care without being made to feel like we were “different.” We are so grateful for Dr. Adams and her support during our entire IVF journey. We now have a beautiful healthy baby boy and our dreams of becoming parents have come to life. I highly recommend Dr. Adams at ORM and believe you will be in great hands with her and her team.

Our experience at ORM with Dr. Adams and her team was nothing but professional, positive and the highest standard of care. After trying to get pregnant for three years on our own, we ended up with ORM where Dr. Adams was able to diagnose me with PCOS very quickly. Although a scary prognosis at first, Dr. Adams was able to explain the syndrome to me in terms that actually made sense and give us a path to pregnancy. Ultimately we ended up going through the process of IVF where Dr. Adams and her team were there to answer any (and there were a lot of them) questions I had at any time. We never felt like there was a stupid question or like we were wasting their time. For us, the process was successful and we are happily awaiting our first little one to arrive. We will be returning to ORM & Dr. Adams to grow out family in the future!!

This location is amazing. The staff knows you by name (despite seeing a long list of patients) and the office is beautiful. Dr. Fisher was always so kind and informative - you can tell that he truly cares about you and your success. They are incredibly thorough, so you know what you are getting into and if there will be any difficulties ahead. They also never lose hope and do a wonderful job of supporting you.Their billing department could absolutely be improved - the women are a condescending and not very willing to assist you with your questions, which made going through financial discussions exhausting. You do receive multiple bills - some of which have already been paid, some havent even been submitted to insurance - which again leads to lots of confusion. But, I just kept thorough records of everything, and bothered them until things were clear. Not ideal, but it definitely didnt ruin my experience. I think of them as separate departments and that shouldnt reflect poorly on the amazing experience of the doctor and staff.

I love Dr Fisher and the staff at ORM - have worked with them through several cycles. Hes very personal/professional and really invested with coming up with the best plan for fertility. My only complaint (why the 3 stars) is with the billing/finance. They must have an old system and keep sending bills after theyre already paid. So hopefully other patients notice and are not getting double charged. Also, when getting our refund for our upfront pay - it took a bit longer than what they give you to come up with the money. Their initial letter for paying up front in finance comes across rude giving you a week to come up with the money or risk delayed treatment. They must have had issues in the past and thats why they word it the way they do, but definitely got my goad up. I would still recommend ORM, but hoping they fix their finance/billing area.

My wife and I were looking for a new fertility clinic last summer after moving back to Oregon from South Carolina. We were finally ready to try to start a family again. I came across Oregon Reproductive Medicine online and was excited that they were so LGBTQ friendly. They seemed like the perfect choice for us, so we got in touch to set up a consult. The whole process wasnt what I would call warm and friendly from the beginning; I never actually spoke to anyone on the phone, until I submitted all of our initial paperwork. I received a phone call from a nurse shortly after I scheduled who wanted to let me know that there was no reason for me to see them until I lost weight because I wasnt a candidate for IVF. The phone call really caught me off guard and I think I said as much. I was also really upset that they hadnt bothered to get to know me/us, review any of my medical information or history, or simply ask us what type of fertility help we were looking for. They simply put me in a category based on my weight. If they had bothered to ask, they would have learned that yes, we had tried previously to get pregnant, but were unsuccessful. I chalk that up to a very stressful job and long hours. All of my tests were perfect; there was no reason to suspect infertility. We just dont have regular exposure to sperm, so that makes getting pregnant a challenge. We couldnt have afforded IVF anyway and wouldnt have gone that route, if that was our only option.Anyway, they didnt bother to ask, and I was so upset by how I was treated before we had even met with them, we decided not to make the hour and a half drive to Portland and I cancelled the appointment. We found a lovely midwife at the Corvallis Birth Center who helped us with a pre-conception check up, tracking ovulation, and she eventually did our IUI. Im currently 8 weeks pregnant.Frankly, were really happy that they treated us so poorly. It was the push I needed to advocate for myself and find a care provider who cared about who we were as individuals. If youre looking for a caring provider, look elsewhere. This isnt the place.

We visited this clinic hoping they would have the proper treatment to increase my wife chances getting pregnant as we were trying for sometimes with no success. Dr. Hurliman referred us to do some test as she explained how important they are. Most of those tests were for my wife as the doctor though it was an age related problem, she ( my wife ) did all these test even though the doctor decision was based on only one of them which is the first ultra sound that Dr. Hurliman personally did for my wife. Next visit, Dr. Hurliman informed us that the chance of my wife getting pregnant is zero even with the treatment that my wife wanted and requested and didn’t get, againm there was no treatment plan no medicine nothing. So the bad news kindda ruined the whole week for us, to be honest my wife never trusted this doctor. Next week, my wife bought a pregnancy test kit from target, tried it and she discover that she was actually pregnant. Think about it, would you trust them again? Even the billing information were incorrect, we discovered that their lab, unlike the clinic, is not within our insurance network, despite the fact that we, and before making any appointment, called and confirmed that Oregon Reproductive Medicine is contracted with United Health Care. For example, one of the tests we got charged around seven times the cost of doing it with a contracted lab. I wish there was less than one star in this rating system.

I am definitely going to miss the Dr. Adams and the ORM staff. Dr. Adams especially always made me feel very comfortable and ORMs prices were very competitive. Her team was always patient with us and all of our questions.
