I didn’t know nothing about a recovery center before PRCC until I found this one. Initially I was looking for a place to do my community service and fulfill my court duties. But, once I found this place. I feel like I found a place to be part of with a good cause. All the employees are A1. Justine helped so much. And I once spoke with the director of center and She was helped full with the information. Honestly, after my community service. I want to be part of this place. Everyone is so welcoming and I just realized it’s good to be part of the good causeOCHAN

I love this place, the people that volunteer here and work here full time are wonderful people to be around, they genuinely care about people and their recovery. They have been helping me for almost two years now. I go here to get my funding to live at sober houses. I love to go here to take part in the meditation classes. Meditation is good for recovery from addiction. If you have someone who you care about take them here to get the help they need. They cover all types of addictions. Check it out you wont be disappointed. On my word.

I love the Portland Recovery Community Center.“Recovery is for everyone.”You’re never too young or too old for recovery. The Portland Recovery center is a place you can feel safe no matter how far along in recovery you are. You’ll always find someone to relate to who will make you feel like you’ve found your place. I remember years ago my first time trying to get sober I was so nervous and walked into the old Portland Recovery center building on Forrest ave. There they made me feel welcome & even helped me find a sober house in Portland. They pointed me in the right direction and made me feel confident that I could really do this. Things really started changing for me right there even though the journey still always has its ups and downs. I’m sober again today because of the help and love I received from these people. All the the staff and volunteers in this facility are wonderful people. I’m thankful to know that there is a place like this one out there, I wish I’d known when I was younger. They offer all types of meetings, recovery coaching and yoga. Even a special meeting for artists. It’s amazing to see the recovery community rising. Seeing people change and better themselves is a beautiful thing. Its places like this one that save lives and make it possible for positive changes and internal growth.Thank you guys! 🙏

This place is a god send! Ive been around recovery for most of my life and have never seen a place like this. They have everything here from yoga, reiki, 12 step meetings of every kind, poetry groups, movie nights and its all free. Even if you just want to hang out with like minded people. This place is magic. I cannot say enough nice things about it.

Phenomenal resources for those in recovery. More places like this should be made a priority....not only do they hold meetings they also offer free yoga and computers to help with job searching and resumes....they offer support groups like AA, NA, smart recovery as well as other 12 step based support. Great place to make new friends and build a solid foundation in recovery.

Met with Matt and Molly for some research on the recovery community in Portland maine, they were both incredibly knowledgeable on all things recovery. Got the grand tour and though theyre in the throes of a relocation the center offers many different services to aid those looking to overcome addiction. Absolutely worth looking into if you or someone you love struggles.

A Great Recovery Center! I moved here from PA and lived in one of PAs richest Counties. PA offers recovery, however, nothing offered in PA for recovery support ( in my opinion) is comparable to what I have received here as one suffering a disease of addiction. Recovery is an individual choice and requires MY Actions to Succeed, however, a large percentage of my sobreity and maintaining a one day at-a-time life without alcohol is directly related to the recovery support in this community.

Absolutely mind boggled at first I wasnt contact with Bill Warner or Bill he put me in contact with someone to help my brother the lady ended up only talking about money I related to Bill that those are the people we do not want to be in contact with and his response was $4,000 a month is not a price tag to put on someones life I just was completely astonished in the way he handled it and replied to me he does not even know my personal situation or what I do for a living or my financial statements all he care about was money I was extremely shocked.
