Columbia Medical Clinic PC-Stark Street

My husband was in a hospital for weeks and the hospital did not detect a huge mass in my husband lung. The Drs at Columbia healthcare were concerned about his health issues and ordered chest X-rays. Dr King and Dr Shae Montenga office called multiple times until they were able to a hold of my husband and I. They sent us immediately to Ohsu adventist where he is now getting the mass and partial lung removal. If this office hadnt gone out of the way to get Troy in and run the tests needed the DR here says Troy would have died. I cant express the amount of gratitude for these ladies in this office. They are simply amazing! I owe my husband of 24 years life to you all. Ty ty for caring about him.

No one is answering my calls to refill my meds. I have been going through severe SSRI withdrawal for 2 WEEKS and no one has answered my call in those 2 weeks or responded to my countless messages. I am considering going to the emergency room cause of how bad it is. Please answer your phone more or actually respond to patient requests. I don’t wanna die because you guys are too busy to give me refills.

I took my 2 year old son in for a lasting cough. I was told by the PA that he just had a cold. My mom gut feeling kicked in and I took him somewhere else to get a second opinion. Come to find out he has pneumonia and a double ear infection. Everyone at the clinic was very nice but I’m really disappointed the PA couldn’t see that he was sicker than just a cold!

(SIGH) No one calls you back. The doctor ordered a blood test. Were told that wed know the result by a week. A week passed, no one called. So I started leaving message. Tsk. Until today, which is almost 9 weeks later, no one let us know the result of the blood test. What is up with this place... Oh the doctor also didnt listen to patients symptoms, kept forgetting her notes.

The general experience was disapointing. The receptionist was rude, grudge and slow. The nurse was nice. I feel that the doctor did not consider the key info I gave about my general condition and previous treatments that worked. I did not get any report, The prescriptions were sent to the wrong pharmacy, and 24h after o start the treatment I got hard collateral effects and my simptoms are Pretta sorará. Dont tô there !

I cant speak to their Urgent Care services, but Primary Care physicians are hard to come by these days and Columbia Urgent Care had some availability so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Montegna. I dont question her abilities as a PA, but without going into detail, her bedside manner is... lacking. Ive had my fair share of physical exams and I left thinking to myself, that was weird, right? Overall the staff was cordial, and I know everyone is stretched thin right now, which may explain why my only two visits felt a bit chaotic, but I dont think Ill be returning to this office.

The clinic was very clean, staff was professional and Provider listened and was very compassionate. I also got in to be seen very quickly which was a definite must when I am sick. I would definitely recommend this clinic!Came to this Urgent Care a few days ago for my illness, was referred by a friend who had great experience because I dont have a primary care. Wow, I was impressed.

I went to this urgent care this morning to get my finger stitched up. The receptionist was nice and they got me in pretty quick. They were disorganized and a bit scrambled when stiching my hand, but very nice and when I left I was happy with my experience. But latter that night when I took the bandage off to change it, I realized half of my six stitches were not even holding my cut closed. The doctor literally put three of the stitches only on one side of the cut. They are doing nothing to hold the cut closed! Would not recommend!!

I have been a regular patient here for about 2 years. After endless searching for the right fit for my medical care, I found it. The people who work here are the best. The medical assistants have made me feel at ease and comfortable since my very first appointment. They are friendly, very caring and go out of their way to ensure that a patient is listened to and understood with concerns. I do of course have my favorite MA, and truly do enjoy talking with her whenever I am there. My PCP has been my best Dr to date. He has been nothing less than stellar and very informative. Ive actually learned a lot from just our chats during my visit about what I am there for. Hes very kind hearted. Hes compassionate and it shows with his care for his patients. Other Dr.s that I have seen at this office are no less as caring and compassionate with patients. I love that they take time to actually listen about concerns a person has and do not try to rush the appointment out the door. I would 100% absolutely reccomend this Dr office for primary care and even urgent care needs. You rarely find an entire staff let alone a Dr that can be this good. Its usually one or the other, not both. But this office has achieved that.

Was a decent place to go get affordable care. Walked there today and the place was closed down and cleaned out. Even the lighted sign was gone off the building. Have to find another place now.

Great clinic, I would highly recommend. Been a patient of their urgent care clinics for many years. Very helpful staffs. They also offer primary care services as well. Also very affordable if you are uninsured. They are always able to get you in on the same day with almost no wait time whether its a visit for an illness or injury. We have been a patient of their clinics for over 10 years and we still come here every time we need. Thank you for your quality care and hard work.

Although the Dr. seems friendly, the office and other staff did not impress me! The main lady working the font desk was not friendly or even dresses professionally and the chairs in the lobby and rooms were filthy. Also the rooms need some cleaning.

Great service. I brought my daughter in today. I think we were the only patients in there on a Sunday at 10am. Its great to not have to go into Emergency and get a huge charge that insurance doesnt cover. Very kind front desk staff. The nurse and Dr were great as well.

I have been going here for over a year!! I love the receptionist there so helpful and they make sure all your needs are meet from the time you arrive til the time you leave. My doctor is very respectful and always there when I call, also I love that its never over crowded when I arrive. I would say this urgent Care is the best.

The best customer service!! The front desk is so helpful whenever I have questions about medication, referral...Dr.Shook is a good doctor . He cares of patient. I bring all my family members here to see him & his medical assistant: Ginnie and vanessa Every time Im here, I feel relax with her. Keep them as my PCP, dont wanna go anywhere else. 💕

They took care of my coworkers infected toe & nail. I inquired for him where to get treatment since he doesnt have insurance or he dont speak English. He paid out of pocket - reasonable prices & his feet are on the mend. Friendly & helpful. Well be back if my friends or family need to

Dr Schook is my PCP and I love working with him. The staff in the front are rude and would not share with me the administrationsphone number to lodge a complaint.I should be able to leave a message for my PCP. I am a current patient and seen more than 2 times a year, if not more. I do not recommend this office based on the front office staff. In the process of finding a better and more professional medical office. Sorry Dr. Schook, I will miss you.

I wish I could give this place negative stars!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!Receptionist was BEYOND rude, watched me struggle with the door, crutches and my purse with absolutely no assistance. After a 15 minute wait doctor saw me for less than 10 minutes, Said there was nothing he could do for my swollen knee (I had taken a fall, dislocated my knee and had put it back in place myself before going to urgent care) until I had an x-ray. He outsourced the x-ray saying there wasnt a tech on duty that day to do it.He sent me away with a knee immobilizer and $85 poorer (which was required *in cash* before I filled out any paperwork)On my way out, the receptionist caught me and removed the immobilizer right there in the waiting room, saying it was not included in the $85 and I couldnt have it without paying for it first. The rude Asian receptionist then got on her knees and began ripping at the velcro straps of the brace. The pain was excruciating and she offered no apology.This is THE WORST place I have ever been to. I was given the exact same advice (for FREE) by an RN at my job.Total waste of money and time.AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL

This is the best clinic Ive ever been to. Dr. Shook is my primary care doctor and I always receive the fastest and most comprehensive care. The staff are really professional and nice. The location is great and getting appointments is easy and painless, no pun intended.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I literally LOVE this place. I use Dr. Shook as a primary care provider and am so thankful for everyone in the office. Dr. Shook found out in the 1st visit, what many doctors in 13 years hadnt figured out. They work with me and my 3 kids and our hectic schedule. The assistants are so sweet and get everything together so quickly when it comes to prescriptions and appointments to the specialist.

Poor performance. I drove an hour on a 7 minute drive. No signage. This was a terrible trick telling me to go left and right onto one way streets. This app sucks!

I want to first say thanks to Columbia urgent care. Recently I was rear ended by a big rig. Well I dont have a primary care cause of insurance mistake. Well I spent days calling around to get one to see me for the duration of my recovery. Unfortunately I know what is involved in recovery as Ive been through many broken boys and a car accident 7 years ago. So getting help with all areas to recover. Well I contacted a local urgent care by legacy and explained what I needed well lets say this I hate when drs dont listen to their patients. I am 38 years old and have not been unresponsible with my health care and know my body to know what is wrong. Well first I went in and next time a different dr told me we dont do that head and tried prescribing a drug Im allergic to so one he never looked or listened to me. Well I landed up in the emergency that night and was made aware of a prescription issue saying I was given one and it was never filled yet I had the empty bottle. So I went back to the original dr to tell them to fix it. The receptionist kept asking if I needed to be seen and I kept saying I just need you to fix this in the system needless to say I got seen by the dr so I could get them to fix it and once again they asked about my health and I told them I found someone for the physical therapy and chiropractic and that their office lied to me it landed up me walking out cause I wasnt their to be seen as I knew I had a appt with Columbia and filing a complaint.So I went to my appointment and brought my wife because I was feeling defeated and that drs dont listen. First off the entire staff was nice. When I went to meet the dr he listened he really listened and he agreed with my recovery and is helping me and will see me for the duration. Completely the best experience and I felt relieved and respected. So again thank you. Also the dr was extremely knowledgeable.

I called ahead and asked how late I could get there and still be seen. They told me as long as I was in an hour before close that I could be seen. I had been calling around for hours in need of treatment. I paid $30 for an Uber and arrived an hour and 5 minutes before closing just to be told that all the providers had already left.

At first I was slightly suspicious because there wasnt anybody else in the waiting room, but the staff were very friendly and pleasant. I was pretty sick and they didnt treat me like I was a leper or anything. The doctor diagnosed me very quickly and after a shot and a day of rest, I feel so much better.

Like most other people have said, this Urgent care center is very fast and clean. The location is very close to my work which made it easy for me to get to. I went for a sore throat and at the time my symptoms were ambiguous, but a few days later they got worse. Instead of having to go back in they called in a perscription for antibiotics. The doctor seemed very understanding of people who are cash patients, which is awesome since I just started a new job and currently dont have insurance. I have been to ZoomCare which is good but not great, in the future I will be going to MLC for minor issues like this.

Great place to go if you just want a bag of pain pills. I called ahead telling them I needed a x-ray on my ankle and was told to come on in to see the doctor. First they tell me my insurance is no good,which was not true. Then they ask my husband how much cash he has on him and say I can have pain meds for $75.00 cash. No doctor, no medical questions and no x-ray. Turns out they have no x-ray machine even though they not only advertise but told me to come in for an x-ray. Went just across the parking lot to Adventist where my insurance was fine and accepted (thanks for scarring me about that columbia clinic) and turns out my ankle is broken.

A nice clean friendly place!To Reginald: When you suddenly cannot walk, you should go to the emergency room, not a clinic. I am going paralyzed, I should know. Also Prattfo is not a word. You also expect too much. I am writing as someone who has been in severe excruciating pain 24/7 for 5 years. Sometimes, there is no solution.

I have been satisfied with Dr. Shook but extremely dissatisfied with their admin staff who are ignorant of Medicare crossover plans in which Medicare after paying pushes the rest of the bill to the supplement with no reauirement . The supplement is automatic and requires no contract with the physician billing. Based on the ignorance of their admin dept I am looking for another primary.

The doctor really was just trying to get me out the door as soon as possible. She dismissed some of my symptoms, and was completely condescending. When I talked to a doctor that actually cares a couple days later, she was shocked that the doctor Id seen had basically just decided not to do some of the basic first steps in treating what Id been diagnosed with. Which meant the medication she gave me wasnt accomplishing anything. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT HELP. THEY DO NOT CARE. AT ALL.

Came in with an emergency. Having problems with using the restroom. came in at 5:30, and was told that they close at 6:00 so they could not take any more patients. I expressed it this was an emergency and I could not get back on my car and drive somewhere else without having an accident. She did not care. Do not go here. Useless places last possible resort.

This review is long overdue. But I still think about how grateful I am that there was a respectful and caring staff at this place when I badly needed both those things. What could have been a very awkward and embarrassing experience went as best as it possibly could considering the circumstances of why I visited. Thank you to the dr and staff from the bottom of my heart!

They just take your co-pay or full pay if you dont have insurance and prescribe treatment plans that you can easily Google to find over the counter remedies when you are in going through legitimate sickness and or pain. Upon returning to ask for help through the legal means these primary care physicians hold the keys to they told me to come pay them more money and see another doctor. They are a business not care givers in my experience with them. Very frustrating for them to more or less turn me to the street to find aid that will actually help. Im a corporate professional who has had to take additional sick time due to the negligence and uncaring money grubbers at this facility.Take your time, money, insurance and most importantly health somewhere far from here if at all possible. $20 May not be a lot to some people but asking for it repeatedly and telling me to buy over the counter medicine...? Youre better off using Web MD

I walked in and was helped by the nurse and receptionist immediately. Less than 5 minutes after that, I saw a doctor, had my recommendation and was on my way to pick up prescriptions in less than 20 minutes. Fantastic experience.

Wow fantastic service I mean wow.... Prozac is apparently Still being prescribed lol... stay far away from urgent care facilities if looking for a pcp. Liberal Democrats have ruined Oregon... apparently if you have cancer and are already on a low dose of valium .5 ( point 5 mg) it is UNheard of to prescribe benzodiazepines according to the doctor at this facility. The guy actually told me Prozac was great and he literally said benzos will kill you... huh ??? imagine all the homeless and less fortunate that are forced to go to the county or state for medication.... they are put on ssri drugs you know because they are wonder drugs ( sarcasm ) strange how something that works for anxiety is NOT being given to patients in Oregon, its all about s.s.r.i drugs. Also the guy was shaking soo bad when he did my lung function he was causing my head to move seriously, glad I wore HD Video glasses on top of my hat , urgent care places should not be in the primary care department. UP date just got the bill from insurance... $110.00 for absolutely Nothing seriously the money was paid to a Vietnamese Dr but I was seen by some guy who I dont even know if he was a Dr .he did not like my religious views about ssri drugs and said we were not a good fit and I said you got that right and I left. So $162.00 for some trembling person to listen to my lungs ? very weird ANOTHER update just got a bill lol my insurance paid them $162.00 and the grand total is $245.00 !! for nothing these places are a scam.

Not Happy With my first experience they verified my insurance upfront called and double check on coverage and i paid my Co Pay. Send me another bill in mail without any info on my check up. Not enough clarity on the procedure of how they are billing.

Ive been going to Dr.Shook for almost 4 years, he has been excellent in my care. I have multiple health issues, so it has been a relief to have him as my primary care provider.

Good thing I am only temporarily sick because this location seems to be temporarily closed. Not to mention I have found at least two (more like three) hours of operations between Google, Yelp and their answering machine which doesnt mention this location being closed. Looks like I will never get to rate this facility for the medical proficiency of the staff due to the business incompetency of the management.

Had a very good visit recently and was taken care of by Shae (sp?) who was very friendly and approachable and had a great energy - really put me at ease and answered every question I had. Thanks again!

Been REPEATEDLY HUNG UP ON after waiting over 10 minutes on hold.Then I get sent to voicemail.This is completely unnacceptable of an urgent care.

Ive been going to Columbia clinic for years and have never had a bad experience. Very friendly knowlegable staff.

Lots of attitude and just generally unhelpful. If they dont know or understand something, theyre unwilling to work with you or try to understand. Not recommended.
