I cannot say enough amazing things about this office!!!! I have seen both Dr. Mangi and Dr. Benavides on multiple occasions. They provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere and answer all of my questions, and I know for certain that my health is their #1 priority. The receptionist staff make my visit every single time I come here. They are always so welcoming, friendly, helpful and personable, and I find myself excited to come in for an appointment because I know I’ll get to interact with such amazing people. I recommend this office to every woman I know. Health issues can be frustrating to deal with, but I’ve never once felt frustrated after leaving this office. I’m so glad and thankful I am a patient here!

I am more than pleased with Raleigh Gynecology & Wellness practice. After recently moving to Raleigh, I started going to see Dr. Kaminski. From my first visit, I felt totally at home. Within months after my initial visit, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. As unfortunate as it was, I was supported by Dr. Kaminski with numerous phone calls. She called me personally to make sure I felt supported until my surgery. Her kindness meant the world to me! Since then, and another trip around the sun, I cannot recommend this medical practice enough.

When relocating from another state, I relied on Google reviews. Dr. Benavides had excellent reviews and my experience was nothing short of excellent. As a new patient Dr. Benavides took the time to welcome me and answer my questions. The office staff were very welcoming too.

Dr Kaminski spent a lot of time talking to me at my first appointment and I feel like she cares who I am and what I need as a patient. Thats the kind of doctor I want, not one who cancels my annual appointment/Pap smear 3 days before because they dont feel like doing annuals anymore...

My husband and I retired and moved to NC. Dr. Benavides was recommended to me by a nurse friend who worked with her as a resident at UNC. Dr. Benavides was great, she was easy to talk with and seems to genuinely care about her patients and their health. Dr. Suzanne Kaminski is the best physician I have worked with. She is generous with her time, taking time to explain thoroughly my options for care. She is knowledgeable and keeps current with all research in her field. I would highly recommend her!

I was a patient at Raleigh Gynecology throughout my high school and college career- nearly 8 years. I went to this office numerous times for “abnormal” reasons, where I experienced horrific symptoms including bleeding uncontrollably for months at a time, stabbing cramps that literally would make me fall over in pain and miss classes, later turning into chronic severe cramping that continued throughout the whole month regardless of my period, and pain during sex. The physicians at Raleigh Gynecology saw a normal pelvic ultra sound and told me “the uterus is a muscle; it’s going to cramp,” basically telling me everything I was experiencing was “normal” and sent me along my way. Years later, i move to Boston where my new gynecologist hears my symptoms during our first meeting and immediately sends me to an endometriosis specialist. I now have recently been surgically diagnosed with endometriosis and underwent excision surgery to remove all of the lesions. When I woke up and they confirmed that it was endometriosis causing me almost 10 years of pain, I broke down in tears. I am upset because Raleigh Gynecology had all of these signs that pointed to endometriosis, yet never even mentioned the possibility of me having it, leaving me to feel crazy and like all of it was in my head. This post is important to me because gynecologists need to be educated about endometriosis. 1/10 women suffer from this disease. Endometriosis is rarely detected on an ultrasound- this cannot be used as a tool to rule out the disease.

Im 52 and I have never, in my entire life, had a doctor this attentive, compassionate and informative...until now. Dr. Benavides listened and discussed ALL the things I needed to cover with her. Being peri-menopausal its not exactly easy to find someone who doesnt dismiss all your symptoms and really listens to what you have to say. I couldnt recommend anyone more! 10/10

Dr. Benavides is a very genuine person and Doctor. Wish she would have been around 25 years ago when I had my babies. I didn’t have to wait long at any of my visits and she is not rushing off to the next patient. Also she is very gentle and exams are not painful.

UPDATE: Horrible office staff experience yet again! Beware, they charge your credit card without your authorization.The doctors are amazing!!! The office staff and the patient software that is used is quite the opposite and is never consistent. Ive been going here for almost 10 years and every time I have an appointment there is an issue. Office processes and procedures are constantly changing and there is no communication of such changes prior to the appointment to ensure preparedness. I wish the admin team had the compassion, patience and understanding that the medical team has!!

Amanda was great: friendly, professional and efficient. I was in and out in no time and that worked perfect for me. The office is very nice and clean, receptionists friendly and helpful. Overall had a very good experience and would highly recommend this practice for all your gyno needs.

Ive been hesitant to review this practice as I dont want to jinx all the good luck Ive had here, but after my most recent visit I felt I had to share my thoughts. Ive been dealing with a longstanding uncomfortable issue off and on for the last two and a half years. Gynecologists at other practices have dismissed my concerns or have run the same tests over and over with no real answers. Dr. Kaminsky is extremely well informed, empathetic, curious, and has gone the extra mile with me to get to the bottom of my issues. She takes the time to speak with you and helps you understand the why behind the things happening with your body. The office is extremely responsive to messages, and the nurses and office staff are extremely professional and kind. Im so grateful to have found this practice.

I chose Dr.Benavides because she has expertise and interest in post-menopausal care. At my visit today I found her professional, kind & friendly, knowledgeable, explained everything thoroughly, not rushed, very gentle, touched on general health & well-being with aging, not just gyno (fitness, flexibility, etc.) I felt seen & heard as a whole person. Very encouraging re: preventive care, great feedback on what I was doing right. Staff were all friendly, kind, efficient without making me feel rushed. Short wait time. Very pleased with the care I received.

Dr Benevides TAKES THE TIME TO LISTEN. 1st thing she does is sit down, look me in the eye say, How are you doing? as she touches my knee or hand like a friend would. Its like this all thru the visit (not the touching, but the genuine concern). Even during the pelvic exam. YOU COULD NOT FIND A MORE CARING DR OR BETTER MANAGED OFFICE. There are TONS of seats in the waiting room. They only need 2 or 3 because nobody has to wait more than 2 min,

This is a phenomenal practice. The atmosphere is inviting, clean and calm. The front desk staff are professional, welcoming and kind. The nursing staff is friendly. Dr. Kaminsky is an exceptional doctor with superior knowledge, skill, and care. I did a search for the best Gynecologists in Raleigh and this practice was listed. They are the best! If you want exceptional care, this is the practice for you! By the way, I have very high standards!😊

Let me start my saying I come from the medical field and how you treat people matters!!! I came to visit Dr. Kaminski for a new patient appointment- Mind you I was referred here with hopes of dealing with the ups and downs of womanhood- I came in feeling hopeful for answers and a road to becoming a healthy better me! Getting a appointment was definitely not the easiest- having to hunt down medical records before they even accept you as a patient, paying a deposit and finally after waiting a month getting a appointment. The lovely lady at check end was so kind and polite and warm and inviting. All this changed one Dr. Kaminski entered the room. Her energy , her disposition was cold and not warm not inviting. Having a simple conversation she seemed to be very genetic and not showing no sympathy and cutting you off as you speak with allot of sighing and deep breathing and not listening to my concerns. However I continued thru the exam holding it together as much as I could- until the end of the visit after examination when she was explaining everything I was not concerned with- the rude demeanor interrupting me and you can tell she was very annoyed - I advised her to stop and expressed how uncomfortable I was, and she marked out my check out sheet put it on a chair and walked out on me! I walked out the office crying and having a full blown panic attack. The nice lady at the front desk didnt want me leaving upset and directed me to the office manger Melanie who was very apologetic and was listening to my concerns and understood how hard this was on me and to be taken 10 steps back and feeling now even more not hopeful for my health concerns. She scheduled me with another provider who is on vacation who she said will be a great fit in 3 weeks. Feeling a little better and trying to remain positive I put my best foot forward willing to still give this practice a shot because of the time it even took to get into this office. However 4 hours later the office manger Melanie calls to say she has to cancel my appoint with the other provider because Dr. Kaminski doesnt feel IM A GOOD FIT!!!!!!!!!!! This is unethical and should be reported to the broad for unprofessional care/ treatment of a patient in need. You can not as a provider put your emotions before a patient. I am hurt and embarrassed and Im already in allot of pain. Now I have to go thru another referral process and probably wait another couple months to be seen. WHAT HAPPENED TO PATIENT CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of us dont enjoy going to the doctor, but Dr. Kaminski and the rest of the team are great. Everyone is friendly, and efficient. Dr. Kaminski has an excellent bedside manor, I never feel rushed and I always feel heard during my appointments.

NP Joshi is amazing and so kind. She’s very gentle and explains everything she’s doing, and she is so compassionate and genuinely cares about patients. I always look forward to seeing her. Everyone else I have interacted with here (nurses, lab tech, front desk, etc.) has also been very kind and friendly. I could not recommend this place more!

This was only like my 3rd visit with Amanda but she is very kind and professional. She lets you be you without being judgemental. The staff is very friendly. I hope things continue to be this way for me for any future appointments. The only reason Im giving a 4star is because I have an issue going on that I am concerned about and it took my 3rd visit to get referred elsewhere. BUT she did say if the other physicians office didnt contact me in 2 weeks she would call them directly. Overall, I am very satisfied with my current doctor Amanda Maingi. Yall come see her 😊

I was nervous, but Dr. Benavides made the IUD insertion process as calm and painless as possible. She talked me through the entire process, explaining every step so that there were no surprises. The office staff were all very nice, as well. The process was smooth from start to finish. They handled contacting my insurance to verify coverage, as well. I would highly recommend them.

Every single aspect of this practice is wonderful. The scheduling/reception staff, the nurses, and the doctors themselves. I am fortunate enough to have Dr. Benavides as my provider. The best women’s wellness clinic in the triangle. Dr Suzanne is the best GYN i have ever been too she is very warm and welcoming and makes you feel comfortable instantly. The nurses and the front desk staff were great too.

I have been a patient here for over 10 years. I recently called to have my IUD exchanged. The nurse who I spoke with told me they would not schedule me until I had my well woman exam and another visit for a “contraception consult.” I am a compliant patient who has never missed an annual well woman exam or cancer screenings. I actually had a well woman exam scheduled at the appropriate time that my insurance would cover. She refused to schedule me for the iud exchange prior to having 2 other additional appointments. She then tells me they won’t place the iud until I am on day 3-5 of my period (this is a very outdated practice that is no longer part of insertion guidelines! I didn’t even have a period when the first one was placed a decade ago). Needless to say, I booked an appointment with another practice for exchange with absolutely no issues (I was seen in a few weeks after booking the appt online).As a women’s health practice, allowing easy and simple access to birth control should be a priority. Making a very compliant and well-established patient jump through hoops and attend unnecessary visits just to control her reproductive health is ridiculous and offensive. I am happy to be done with this outdated practice.The providers I’ve had have always been great. Perhaps just more education for the other staff.

Dr. Suzanne Kaminski was INCREDIBLE. This was my first time visiting and I needed to have a colposcopy done. She was kind, thorough, and very informative. I have always been uncomfortable and in severe pain getting pap smears, etc. This was utterly PAINLESS. She answered all of my questions, sent me home with copies of the brochure she talked me through beforehand, and was overall wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and so informative. If you are a female seeking care- this is the place for you.

I was prescribed 3 medications without testing being done first. Turns out, they prescribed me medications (three times!) that I did not even need. Lack of professionalism, communication, educating the patient even when I asked questions and asked for clarification.Please do better and treat people with thoroughness and actual care. We literally rely on you as the health care providers and the expert. We are not doctors and we did not go to medical school. We are not the ones that should be having to advocate SO hard to get the care we need. You should be the ones asking the questions and investigating what needs to be done to give us the best outcome and make sure that we actually feel cared for - not just prescribe meds Willy nilly to get people on and off your table as quickly as possible. I have never felt more generalized and like a number in my life when it comes to my health.

I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of Womens wellness exams. The entire team is very friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of care from insurance/payments to procedures. I moved out of the area but still drive back due to the great care given at this office.

I will never be back to Raleigh gynecology after the terrible experience I had. I came in for my first ever GYN appt a year ago after my I got married. It was a horrible experience with the provider, she made the appointment so awkward and uncomfortable. I had questions about sex and my inability to orgasm (which is highlighted on your website as something your practice specialized in) and discomfort. Instead, I was met with a provider telling me that we weren’t using enough lube, doing enough foreplay, and giving me a sex podcast to listen to. I was experiencing pain during sex near my left ovary and she again dismissed it. As she was doing the exam, she told me I may feel pain as she inserts the tool. I told her that I didn’t feel anything there, I had a weird discomfort in my left ovary. Her response was “everyone feels it differently”. My primary sent me for an ultrasound after hearing that because she said it wasn’t normal, and I ended up having a tumor in my ovary. Other providers said if she had done the exam properly, she definitely would have felt it during the internal part.

Dr. Kaminski is so attentive intelligent and well read. Always great service at this office! She goes above and beyond to know me and my family circumstances. She has called me twice at home on her own time to alleviate concern, thoroughly explain and answer any questions. She’s an excellent physician and person.

Everything was better than expected with my first appt to this office. I was able to check in night before and fill out paperwork online(no printing!)and ready at 9am. Asst was very thorough and Dr Benevides took her time and spoke with me about all my concerns. Warm and efficient office staff. Very happy with my choice of providers.

The front desk staff and the nurse that took my vitals were very nice people. However, my visit with NP Joshi was didnt live up to my expectations. I was referred to her because of how caring and considerate she is to patients but I didnt feel that way with her. I came because I wanted to be tested for PCOS because I was having unexplained weight gain and changes in my metabolic health that are concerning for me as a previous heart surgery patient. Im fine with being eliminated from consideration for PCOS, but it seemed like she came into my visit to tell me I didnt qualify for it rather than truly try to understand my concern for these changes in my body- and instead blame them on my weight. I conceded to changing my BC and scheduling an ultrasound just to do whatever possible to fix these health issues Ive been having for a while, but when I checked my medical record, it seems the only thing she considered during my visit was controlling my uterine pain and didnt even mention the PCOS. The blood test I had also didnt test for androgens, which is what we discussed. Ultimately, Im disappointed and not surprised- as a bigger Black woman (and continuing to gain, which was the concern in the first place) this is a commonplace practice, but I thought this time would be different. The nurse who took my blood pressure paid more attention to my concerns than she did.

Dr. Kaminsky is kind, caring and thorough. She follows ACOG guidelines. I always feel like she listens and understands.

Let’s be honest. This type of appointment isn’t fun for anyone. BUT… I genuinely look forward to my annual checkups with Ginny. She is patient, thorough (but fast), kind, proactive AND smart. She’s a gem, and I couldn’t imagine seeing anyone else.As far as the front office goes, they are all so kind and sweet. It has never been this easy. Get scheduled, in and out within 30 minutes every time for me.

I came to this practice long after I was finished with the OB part of OB/GYN care (my kiddos are teenagers now). This was one of the more positive experiences Ive had at a gynecological office. The ladies at the front desk were very nice, and the nurse was wonderful. She really made me feel comfortable and welcome. I saw Dr. Sujan, who took the time to get to know my history. She addressed all my concerns without rushing me. If youre willing to wait a little longer for the doctor, its definitely worth it, because this often indicates youre seeing someone who takes their time with patients. That was the case for me, and Id highly recommend this practice.

Last year I had a very negative experience with my health center’s gynecologist not being patient and understanding. I found Dr. Benavides online through reviews and had my first appt with her today. Dr. Benavides took her time, made me feel heard and comfortable, and she discussed options to help me in the future.

I had a really bad experience. I’m a pretty low key person and I have a high tolerance for things in life, but I felt like the doctors were rushing and pushing me to make a decision. I did not feel like the doctor cared for me as a person but I was just seen as another person with another medical need. It was my first visit and I did not feel welcome, cared for, or really understood. I’m not planning on going and and if your trying to find a new GYN, I would keep looking. I’m not holding anything against anyone, but I would not recommend.

You know how sometimes you’re sitting in a doctor’s office and you just know in your heart you’re in the right place? This was the right place. My original gynecologist closed their practice and referred me to someone else, and although it never really felt like a good fit I’d kept going for the last few years because of the pandemic and all. I finally made the decision to switch practices and had my first appointment with Dr. Benavides yesterday. She is truly wonderful in every way, as is her entire staff. I felt heard, understood, and completely comfortable and cared for from beginning to end. So very happy with my experience.

Same tests have been ran nothing found until cultures are sent off. Had to go to urgent care and the emergency room due to major issue for something that could have been treated. I took a home test came out positive came out negative in office so no treatment was administered. Ended up at urgent care and hospital due to issue not being treated.Front desk staff turned rude. Which shocked me, because they were so nice my first few visits.

I had an IUD removal and reinsertion today. I was very nervous because I remembered how my experience last time went at a different office in Greensboro. Every single staff member I interacted with went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They walked me through every single step verbally before they started and then verbally kept me updated throughout the entire process making me not feel blindsided and make me feel comfortable with what I could expect to be feeling. They answered all of my questions and gave me the best care I’ve ever received. I will most definitely be coming back to this office.

My first visit was great! Sherrie, the PA (?) was very kind and thorough and created a space that felt safe and comfortable in which to talk about everything I needed to say. Dr. Benavides was more of the same. I have several issues to address and Dr. B. prioritized items and we agreed on a plan of action. I left with answers to other issues and a light heart. The support staff running the practice in the front were also efficient and very warm-a pleasure to work with. This is what women’s healthcare should look like.

I saw Dr. Kaminski for a colposcopy procedure. She was so kind and really made me feel like I mattered. The staff at the front desk, lab tech, and hailey in billing were super helpful when going through the nightmare of issues that Dr. Sujan Joshi created. I went in for a routine preventive care check which is completely covered by my insurance. Dr. Joshi was aware of my concern that I had issues in the past with offices not coding a visit or filing it with insurance correctly AND she knew based on my scheduled appointment notes and our talk about this being a preventive routine annual check up. I pay hundreds for insurance every month and I’d like to get, at the very least, my *one* preventative annual visit covered as guaranteed by my insurance. I had to pay out of pocket for a portion of my visit due to the fact the Dr Joshi coded the visit wrong when sending lab orders and the codes were not according to the preventive care guidelines or at least were not matching with what we had discussed. She refused to change it. If this is the case and what she did in my visit was not preventative, she should have discussed that and consulted with me given that I made my visit and intentions clear. I will not recommend her for care or return to see her. I really want to thank all of those at the office who did their best to fight this issue with me for months.

The staff at Raleigh Gynecology are the best! Very polite, professional, friendly, and just very pleasant overall. From the moment I stepped in to the moment I left, their service was superb. Couldn’t recommend them enough .

The practice is amazing. Dr. Kaminski is so professional, warm and thoughtful. I highly recommend the practice. The staff is very friendly as well. Everyone makes you feel welcomed and comfortable.

I booked a consultation re: birth control and they were all too happy to charge me nearly $100 for said consultation when all they said was the same thing they told me over the phone! I understand that any medical practice is a business, but charging someone to take time off work, come in to your office, and have the doctor repeat information you were told over the phone is just ridiculous. I even asked them on the phone what the consultation would consist of and they told me it would just be a consultation??? Then they hit me with a ridiculous bill. Go elsewhere if youre a woman with any self respect.

I have been seeing Dr. Kaminski for years now. She is an excellent doctor. She always takes the time to explain things clearly with genuine care for my well being. Her nurse Deborah, is professional and caring as well. I have confidence my health is in good hands. If you are in need of a gynecologist, I highly recommend Dr.Kaminski.

Short wait time, friendly staff, questions answered, and time taken to listen to your concerns. What more can one ask for from a medical provider? I’ve been seeing Dr. Benavides since 2006, and highly recommend her. One time, in an urgent situation, I was seen by Dr. Kaminski and was equally impressed!

I saw Dr. BENEVIDES For the first time yesterday. I was taken back on time. The nurse was friendly and kind, giving me information about how the appointment would proceed. She explained that I would be fully clothed while I talked to the doctor about my concerns and then disrobe for the exam. The doctor came in in less than 5 minutes, introducing herself by her first name. She went over my medical history and listened to my concerns. She discussed medication options and risks with me BEFORE she did the exam. She made me very comfortable during the exam. Upon making a diagnosis, she made the decision to prescribe a compounded medication that would work more quickly for me, then made a follow up appointment so that she could determine progress and take the next step in medication to alleviate the issue.Before making an appointment with Dr. BENEVIDES, I researched her through the N.C. Medical Board. I am happy with my choice.Her office is easy to reach from US 1. Parking is easy.

I have never had a physician take this much quality time with me and to actually listen and be so thorough. I am very thankful for the ease of scheduling, quick appointment time, and top notch patient care. Great office and I highly recommend them!

I just love Janice Alexander Taylor. She always makes me feel comfortable, sits and talks with me and actually cares about my problems. She tries to find the best solution to the problem. She explains things really well and is very down to earth. I wish I had found her many years ago. Office staff has always been pleasant as well.

I was referred to Dr. Benevides via a trustworthy coworker. I was so nervous trying to find another OBGYN that I will love. When I made the appointment and had to prepay I was like oh no but I’m so glad I did! The deposit is refundable so you are not losing but gaining an awesome OBGYN doc that’s priceless these days. When she came in she was so personable and patient never made me feel like a number and so easy to talk to. I am also happy no assistant with my exam because as a patient I enjoy my privacy so me and the doctor is always fine with me. I’m so anxious to go back next year without any hesitation. I also want to brag on front desk they were so nice and the phlebotomist too I always request the big needle and she didn’t mind at all!

I cannot say enough good things about dr. Lorena Benavides and Raleigh Gynecology & Wellness. My PCP made the referral knowing that I would benefit from a gynecology-only office and they were right! My interactions with the office and nursing staff have been highly professional yet personable. Dr. Benavides, where have you been!? I wish i hadnt waited so long to ask for this referral from my PCP. I will be moving my womens care to Raleigh Gynecology & Wellness.
