My experience was amazing I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Everyone was very experienced ,explanatory and patient. Very clean and organized. They were all there for you and your needs. From the front staff to the nurses, RN and Doctors everyone was fantastic. The recovery room was so peaceful and comfortable. The best choice a women could make for this difficult decision.

I was there over a month ago and during my first appointment I was told that I was not able to get the procedure due to my hemo levels. Before I even went to my appointment- The clinic was able to fund $300, I was able to find another organization to fund the other $300. I advised them of this and because “their internet was down” they weren’t able to confirm so the clinic still had me pay an additional $300 in cash in order to even be seen, stating that their credit card machine was down and they couldn’t see the other funding. I came back 3 days later for my actual appointment.. they said they received the additional funding so I would receive a refund for my $300 payment. I went to have my hemo re checked and it was again too low, so I was not able to get the procedure done. They said I couldn’t have my money back that day and that I would have to wait for a check in the mail that nobody would know how long it would take to get it. It has now been over a month and I still have not received my money back. So this clinic has now been paid $900 for a procedure that never happened. When I called and went up there, I was responded to with a very nonchalant careless attitude. Nobody had any information for me or any numbers I can contact regarding my refund. I have since went to the location multiple times and called and each time, nobody can tell me anything. There is no corporate number on the website. It’s ridiculous. I just want my money back.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! from the beginning making the appointment I was met with nothing but ATTITUDE , they swore they couldn’t find my appointment after rechecking they found it . I was originally told drivers could leave them when I showed up was told drivers have to wait with you. I had an appointment at 11 am and was told I could be seen if I made it in before 11:30 I made it before then filled out the paperwork did the ultrasound and the labs . I was called back to get the medicine shot when they swore they did have my drivers ID I had to go get my phone from outside to show them I emailed it as soon as I arrived . When I came back inside I had 4 WOMAN YELLING AT ME BEGIND THE front desk . 2 doctors and two workers telling me THE MEDICINE HAS TO SIT FOR AN HOUR YOU ARE ALREADY LATE THE DOCTERS Waiting. Mind you I had just walked outside because the staff member asked me too !!! For something I had already sent !! No one would let me talk they all preceded to talk over me and decided to reschedule me. I said I’ll just go to preferred woman’s thank goodness ms.angie the coordinator at a preferred woman’s was able to make an exception and get me in , this place is nothing but ATTTITIDE AND UNORGANIZED. I’ve never been treated so horribly in my life I did make a complaint to the nah fundinf agency !!! Everyone in there needs to be fired all the way down to the doctors!!!

The staff was amazing, very professional, very companionate, very understanding & very patient. Also, I had the IV sedation for the surgical abortion & felt no pain nor remember the procedure. I highly recommend this clinic especially for abortion, they make sure you’re in good hands & care about their patients. RATE 10/10 if I could.

These ladies are amazing! At 17 I got pregnant by an extremely abusive ex and did what I felt made me safest. These women were there and ready to tussle with any protester that wanted to walk up and try and bother you. They even had a service dog there for you to pet and keep you company. I’m so glad their flower fence keeps out all the negativity outside. I hope this new bill doesn’t disrupt their good spirits with helping women’s health!

I was very nervous going in because of the bad reviews and potential wait time. My appointment was 8am on Friday. They opened the doors at exactly 8am. The office was surprisingly nice. They had water and coffee for those waiting. I did my paperwork in about 15 minutes. The only bad part was their credit card machine was down and I did not have cash! I had to leave, go across the street, and get a cash advance off my card to pay for it. I came back and at this point there were protesters. My friend and I parked in the wrong lot not at the clinic and walked over. One guy approached us trying to give us phamplets and talk to us but we ignored him. The clinic escort told us where to move out vehicles. Once back inside I paid and waited another 5 minutes before being called back. It was super fast. Urine test, ultra sound, blood check, counseling, doctor came in to give pill and done. I was out at 9:30! Not the 2-4 hour wait they had advised. Now it was getting busy when I left so others may have a longer wait time. My suggestion is you are not okay with long waits (like me) is to get an 8am appointment.Everyone was very nice and caring. The whole experience was NOTHING like I expected. I am glad I chose A Woman’s Choice Of Raleigh. Thank y’all for providing quality care.

This place is so warm and welcoming. I had my surgical on Saturday. Everybody was very kind and compassionate. The male doctor who did my procedure was very kind. I was very scared so he slowed everything down for me. He was very understanding and he told me everything he did before he did it. He told me every cm he did and he is such a fantastic doctor. I highly suggest going to this place. Yes there are a lot of protestors there. But id you know deep down this is the right and hard choice for you then i suggest coming here. Rate it 10 stars if i could.

Had very unusual bleeding very heavy had to go to the ER the ER told me i had retained fetal left inside ! Went back to them to let them know what the ER said was told “ they always send people back and pretty much be lying “ sent me home told me i was fine come back in 2 weeks ! Went back was sent home told everything was fine ! that VERY same day i bled so heavy !! I had 4 huge blood clots come out had to go to the hospital come to find out i still have retained product left in me ! Even though i was told i was good ! Now i have to get a D&C done by another doctor because this clinic could do their job ! Been dealing with this for over 2 months now and this is ridiculous. If i up to filing a law suit i definitely would !

I usually dont write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so. I read all these bad reviews, and was so scared before I went yesterday. My experience wasnt perfect, but it was nothing like what the women on these reviews went through. I went to Womens Choice to have a 2 day surgical abortion at almost 16 weeks. I drove over 4 hours to get there because i live in South Carolina, and they dont do abortions after 14 weeks. I have never had an abortion this late term, so naturally I was scared out of my mind. My boyfriend had to watch my 2 year old, so he couldnt be in there with me, so I was in there alone. Every staff member treated me very nice, very compassionate about my fears, and really made me feel like everything was going to be fine. They told me its natural to feel fear, and they did everything they could to make me comfortable. Yes, there are protesters outside, but there are women that are like hall monitors, who are out there, and once they see you walk up, they walk with you, and guide you into the clinic. They are very nice, and they tell you, dont pay attention to anything they say, we are here to help you. You dont have to walk through those protesters alone. When I first got there, it was a bit crowded, but they move the women out of there quickly. The waiting area in the front is comfortable, with plush leather couches, chairs, coffee machine and water cooler. I was only In that waiting area 20 mins, but I was filling out paperwork, so it wasnt as if I was sitting doing nothing. Yes, you will be there a few hours, but keep in mind you are having multiple tests done before a major surgery. Plus there are other patients getting procedures done too. Its going to take some time. You are not endlessly waiting, the most I waited between tests, was 20 minutes. They have magazines you can read at your leisure. Both of my procedures were done quickly and professionally, with minimal- no pain. The doctor was friendly, he answered any questions I had eagerly, and spoke to me through the whole procedure about what he was doing, and why. I was very very nervous beforehand, and the nurses and Doctor made me feel so much better. I work as a medical assistant, and I must say, bedside manner is 75% of a patients total experience. Honestly, its a major reason I am writing this review. Its already hard enough emotionally and physically, going through this experience. When you have compassionate people around you that care about your feelings, while making sure you receive the best medical care, it just makes the whole process so much easier to go through, and heal from. Their pain management is impeccable. My pain through the whole process, fluctuated from 0-4 honestly. If I felt any pain, I always had something to take it away, or if I was feeling pain in the clinic, they made me comfortable. After my second day procedure, I felt no pain. That was another one of my biggest fears, was that this whole process would be very painful. They gave me something right after the procedure, and they send you home with pain meds. As I am writing this, its been less than 24 hours since my procedure, and I have felt no pain since I left the clinic. My body is just tired, so Ive been catching up on my rest. I give this place and the staff 5 stars, because I feel they made this difficult process, as pain free and easy for me as possible. The only reason I said it wasnt perfect, wasnt because of anything they did.... Its just because this process is not easy for anyone to go through. But as I said, I work in the medical field. So I am able to be objective from multiple points of view. The staff was professional, chair side manner excellent, they all know what they are doing. The facility is clean, comfortable, and state of the art equipment was used. No one on the staff was ghetto or loud as one previous review stated. These other reviews had me looking at other places, but this place worked with me on a reasonable price I could come up with. So I just ignored the reviews and went here, and Im glad I did.

I say 4 stars because it is a very nice Pl but the wait time was hours. Although I was awake for my procedure (because my veins rolled the entire time) it was better for me. I didnt wake up super dehydrated like I have at other places and it took a matter of minutes for it to be over. I definitely would recommend this place and I appreciate the services provided.

My experience at this place was AMAZING. The protesters outside are annoying but do not let them affect your decision. EVERYONE at the clinic is professional, friendly , and down to Earth. The atmosphere was very warm, me and the other girls eased each other with our different reasons and it’s nice to see different people from different backgrounds coming together to comfort each other. WARNING: they let you know it is a typical 4-6 hour wait but my experience was pretty fast even with the long wait. The counseling was very helpful, the staff did an amazing job helping me make the right choice. Dr. Cracker is SO GOOD, he explains the process, comforts you, makes you feel not weird and he is fast, safe and efficient. I did no IV sedation and my procedure wasn’t very painful plus The nurses let you squeeze the life out of them. (Sorry Brittney lol). When I arrived, I had complications with me not having a driver and they worked with me, waited on my fiancé and made sure we were okay. I loved Porsha and Julie, They really made me feel at home and Porsha was a good maternal figure for me because I was nervous plus my fiancé was late. I’m glad I chose this place and I would definitely recommend this place to any woman that is confident that she wants to continue with a free life.PLEASE do a survey, it helps get you a morning after pill & good reviews for such a great clinic.

My first time at an abortion clinic and I wasnt impressed. When I drove up, there were lots of people in the parking lot and after observing everything, I finally realize after a few moments that I was to follow the people in the rainbow vests. I wish that information was told to me before my actual appointment when they were talking to me on the phone so it wasnt so confusing driving up. The staff were definitely not professional. After filling out the packet of paperwork, I had a few spots where I missed that I needed to fill out and the lady was acting extremely annoyed that she was having to tell me again where to fill out the spots that I missed. Then to other ladies started having a conversation about their friend who just had their baby, and was talking about the details and how the baby was doing. EXTREMELY inappropriate conversation to be having at this type of clinic. Its not an easy choice for every woman to be having an abortion, and to have to stand there and not say anything while these two women are having that conversation was extremely disheartening. In the back you get some blood work done to see if you react positive or negative for your blood work. One of the ladies said she tested positive to the other lady, and when I responded positive for what? The other lady didnt even acknowledge me or that I spoke but instead started talking to the original lady who took the blood work and said they will always ask positive for what? So I normally just say that the blood work is reactive felt extremely rude to not even be acknowledged like I wasnt an actual person and like it wasnt my blood. When I asked again what the positive meant, the original lady who took the blood said, Im not sure...its just positive.... How are you going to be taking my blood and not even know what its for?? So if I needed another abortion would i come to this clinic? Probably not. The staff have a lot of work to do on how to treat people especially in an environment as fragile as this one.

Horrible experience! The doctor did not administer the Anesthetic correctly and I felt the entire thing. The nurses were telling me don’t scream but they clearly you could tell I was not sedated. They missed my vein and the medicine just flooded my hand. I did not appreciate that experience. It was a nightmare! Very frustrating. I would not recommend this clinic.

I went to the Charlotte location, but I cant delete this review. Its the same company though. I was nervous about going here because of some of the negative reviews. It really wasnt bad at all. Yes, the whole process invovles a few hours of waiting (which is why I left 4 stars), but its not just you, everyone has to wait. The physical process is over very quickly. I was having some problems after taking the one of the medications for the surgical procedure, and it was only because my pregnancy occured with an IUD in place that had already caused a blood clot to form in my placenta, no one else experienced anything similiar. When they saw me scared and upset they put me in a special room with a heatjng pad by myself so I wouldnt be uncomfortable or embarrassed. Also, I was extremely scared about the surgery. It was nothing to be scared of. They give you an IV with sedatives and painkillers and within 10 seconds you are calm. I think I fell asleep because the next thing I remember was being walked to the recovery room. And even though my IUD had gotten lodged into my cervix, they got it out and didnt upcharge me. The staff were caring and made sure I was okay the whole time. It was a nice experience for a difficult situation.

Brought a friend of mine who needed services and was making a difficult decision during a difficult time. We had gone to two other clinics in Raleigh before choosing this one. Unlike the other two, A Womans Choice is clean, calm and friendly. The staff was warm, compassionate and welcoming. This decision is never easy and it shouldnt be, but it does not have to be made more stressful by overworked and overwhelmed staff and service providers, or a dingy location. If you have to make that awful decision, a Womans Choice should be your next, best, choice.

Posting a 5 star to counter the people claiming to have gotten service there but using their husbands account. Or people like Damonique Levy who I personally observed standing outside as one of the protestors. Simple answer to that is they never got service there and were likely one of the paste eating clods that stand outside and shout banal, generic, biblical platitudes or blatant scientific falsehoods and conveniently cherry picked statistics with no context or understanding how it works.Patrick Wooden and his gang of gas station hot dogs are some of the worst people allowed to exist. Theyre the anti-choice version of the Patriot Front but Ill give credit to the former for not wearing masks and owning their terrible beliefs and useless existence.

I have no idea why this place has so many bad reviews. Prob the protesters out front. This was honestly the best possible experience I could have hoped to have, and the best medical office I have visited.Yeah, I had to have an abortion. It sucked but this place made it SO EASY! I did the abortion pill, and yeah the appointment took a few hours, but I felt so supported the whole time i was there it wasnt a big deal. Took less time than my last yearly check up lol. They gave me some amazing sedation meds (all included) and held my hand in recovery. They were SUPER nice to my boyfriend who was being kinda obnoxious too.GO TO THIS CLINIC! The other clinic in town isnt nearly as nice. I went there a few years ago and the experience at A Womens Choice was SO MUCH BETTER

AWCR has its pros and cons...pros: great staff that get along well and work well as a team, its a not a bad place to work inspite of the circumstances thats being done, and they will hire you fresh out of school unlike most medical facilities..cons:PAY is very low even if you have experience in the medical field, saturdays are mandatory, the hrs fluctuate so you are not guaranteed 40hrs, they dont have a housekeeping service so you have to clean the entire facility, including baseboards that i was determined not to do, raises arent guaranteed, you dont get a lunch break but is expected to clock out for lunch, the benefits arent worth getting not unless you making real money and actually getting 40 hrs a week, upper management does not acknowledge their staff just worried about money not realizing sometimes staff would like to know they are appreciated instead of finding things like baseboards to complain about..I can go on and on but again health wise for the ladies i would recommend because the doctor is great, working there i dont suggest 🤷🏾‍♀️
