Planned Parenthood - Susie and John Stanley Health Center at Reading

Ive been to the new location twice now and its by far the best Planned Parenthood Ive ever been to. Everyone Ive met there has always been incredibly friendly and accommodating. They always take the time to explain exactly what theyre going to do at the appointment every step of the way and stop to make sure I dont have any questions or concerns. I currently dont have health insurance and theyve also been amazing at making sure they work within the price range I afford while still giving me the care I need. Definitely recommend them!

This is the best planned parenthood I’ve ever been too. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, from the front desk to the nurses and doctors. I always feel so comfortable and relaxed when I come here, it’s truly a great place. The location and parking are also a bonus with how convenient it all is. Highly recommended coming here for your needs!

I love the staff here. They made a typically uncomfortable and nerve wracking exam one of the easiest and calmest appointments I’ve ever had. The new location is a lot better too. The building is incredibly clean and bright. Parking is a breeze and you could even stop by one of the restaurants or stores in that plaza as a treat after your appointment lol. Overall, I think this will be the only place I go to for reproductive health care.

I haven’t seen many recent reviews so I felt obligated to review, their new location is so much better than the one that used to be on cherry street I believe. Plenty of parking, staff is very polite, respectful and everything is a lot quicker than it used to be. I remember waiting at the other location for 4 hours after my scheduled appointment just for birth control, my last appointment recently took an hour, 10 mins after my scheduled appointment I was called in and seen and I was on my way home an hour later. Very pleased with my overall experience this time!

We had an issue with my son’s medication. The receptionist was patient and informative and was consulting with the dr. She took very good care of us. 1/9/23. 3 weeks my son has tried to get a dr to get the pre auth for his meds. 3 weeks and we can’t get the dr to do it and no one is in the office or picks up his calls. Mental health is at issue here.

You might as well not even make an appointment. First visit, I waited over an hour after my appointment time. Second visit, waited about 2.5 hours after my appointment time. They also wouldnt even let my husband come back with me to the exam, that blew my mind. The one good thing I have to say though is the doctors and nurses are incredibly sweet and make you feel comfortable.

The women are great, the appointment can take a good bit of time so be prepared. They have a parking garage across the street but if you get street parking the meters take nickels, dimes and quarters. Prepare for a long appointment. I just came for birth control, going on 2 hours and Im still not done. IT IS WORTH IT LADIES!

Overall, I had a great experience at this location. The staff & security guard were friendly (came out & gave us candy & water in the waiting room).Plan accordingly, procedures may take a few hours !!

Sooooo I had an appointment set for exactly 1pm and the front desk lady pressed on the phone that I must be at least 10 minutes early. I arrived at 12:30 and Ive been (still waiting) for 2 hrs now....When I usually go to a regular doctors appointment, the most i wait is about 10-20 minutes . But this... Highly unprofessional. Dont press your patients about being on time and have them waiting 2+ hours..

I had called the day before to check to see if I needed an appointment just to pick up my birth control (I already have a prescription) and was told that I did not need one for that. I went in and was asked if I had an appointment, then I was basically shooed out the door because they did not have the staff member on that could filled my prescription. I have been going there for over a year, very disappointed. I take birth control to help combat my migraines and now I’m in for a world of pain because I can not come in tomorrow because I am a full time student and work a full time job. If someone asks a question and gets one answer then goes in and is rejected it is very unprofessional. My well being is now in jeopardy because of the lack of organization in this establishment.

I’ve been trying to get my medication for 3 weeks now. I’ve been calling, sending emails, the only way I could talk to someone was inside. I’m almost out and still haven’t gotten anything.

They wouldnt let my boyfriend who I live with get my birth control pills with my credit card that I use every time. Its not like theres a contact number for the specific place either. He offered to FaceTime me. We have the same address.

The place gives and does whats expected for planned parenthood, but the wait time is horrendous. My girlfriend the other day had to wait 4 hours to get pills. Today we had to wait another hour just for a pack of pills. Wait is too long, but you get whats expected.

Yesterday I visited this place and I want to say that I had a very nice experience, the staff is very friendly and I only waited 5 minutes wow I felt very happy. thank you very much

Very unprofessional, unorganized an waited 40 mins without being seen EVEN THOUGH I made an appointment. Complete waste of time, no help at all.

Canceled my appointment last minute and then tells me to call back with nobody answering.

Hours arent updated and was an inconvenience. Says open at 8am, but they werent open until 10am.
