Ingrid W. Brown, M.D.

I saw Dr. Brown once after seeing her excellent reviews, but I personally would not recommend her. I went for my annual visit in 2018, and while I was there, I asked if I might have a certain condition because I am in the medical field myself and noticed that I had all of the symptoms. Dr. Brown wasn’t rude, but she completely dismissed my concerns because the diagnosis is rare. As of this week, I have finally been tested for the same condition and confirmed that I do have it. I am writing this review two years later out of disappointment and frustration that I am still dealing with these symptoms because Dr. Brown did not take me seriously. Then, as if to add insult to injury, her office billed my insurance for a problem visit instead of the annual visit that I scheduled, which cost me significantly more out of pocket. When I called the office to ask why, they said it was because I talked to Dr. Brown about my symptoms. This has never been an issue with any other gynecologist I’ve seen before or since. To conclude, I’m sure Dr. Brown is a great provider for many healthy patients without rare diagnoses, but my experience with her was less than ideal, and I hope this review can help other patients avoid the same outcome.

I like Dr. Brown. I believe she is thorough, caring, and knowledgeable, but I have some issues with her staff. On three separate occasions I have left messages for the front office and assistant to call me back, but they never did. (I had to leave messages because I couldnt get anyone to answer the phone during business hours.) I realize the assistant could have been with other patients, but as of 48 hours of leaving a message, she hasnt called me back yet. Maybe her voice mail that says next business day if you call after 4 should be changed. This last time recently is what prompted my review. I had an issue that was very important - to me anyway - but I guess not to them. Very disappointed.

I love Dr. Brown. She is caring, thoughtful, and takes her time to talk with me and understand my concerns. I never feel like shes hurrying to the next patient. Shes been my gynecologist for about 6 years now and I am extremely happy with her care.

Dr. Ingrid Brown is nothing short of AMAZING! From the minute you meet her you immediately feel at ease and just want to grab a cup of coffee and sit and talk with her all day. She is a wealth of knowledge and explains everything so clearly and not just in “Dr. talk”. Lol....you guys know what I mean. ;) When I am there she makes me feel as though I am the only patient in the office. There is no rushing in and out, she takes her time with me and makes sure all my questions are answered. The nurses are always so sweet and thorough, the office manger is awesome and the ladies at the front desk are always smiling and actually looklike they enjoy their job, which seems more and more rare these days. All of us ladies out there, you know how much we dread these doctor visits, so having Dr. Brown and her staff on the other end makes it all so much better.

Absolutely the best obgyn experience! Dr. Ingrid Brown and her staff are so knowledgeable and made the whole process a breeze. I am suffering from heavy mens and Im on my second day on Provera and I can already see the difference. Dr. Brown was so patient about hearing my story and answered all my questions and helped me feel at ease on my first visit. This whole situation was having a huge emotional and physical toll on me and now I have my normal life back!! She educated me and I recommend anyone to her practice. Thank you so much Dr. Ingrid Brown and her awesome staff!! :)

Dr. Ingrid Brown is patient, thorough, really listens to me, and is excellent at explaining my problems. She engenders a high level of trust from the first contact and continues to build on that with every contact. I only wish I had found her many years ago.

Dr brown is the best ! Ive been to alot of different gynecologists because of many different issues and dr brown has really taken the time to explain things. Just had a hysterectomy with her and she has been there for me and my questions through the whole process. Highly recommend her !!!

I was referred to Dr Ingrid by a friend and wasnt disappointed , the office staff were friendly and professional. Dr Ingrid herself is very friendly, has a good bedside manner and explained things to me as she carried out her examination. I was pleased with my visit and plan to be back.Thanks.

Dr. Brown works well with Dr. Rumph and they refer patients back and forth depending on specialty. Will take time to discuss any issue. Appreciated.

I wouldnt have anyone else examining something so personal. Shes kind, and unjudgemental, and Ive been seeing her for years and its always the same. When it comes down to insurance and copays, that can be annoying. But Ive had a lot of trouble with certain woman parts on me, and shes fixed every single of them. Her kindness just puts me at ease.

I’ve seen several Obgyn over the years do to moving or being unhappy. Dr Brown & her assistant Rachel are amazing!!! Best ever !
