Advanced Fertility Associates

I have a previous bad experience at our local fertility clinic so I was already nervous walking into our appointment.. I’m am glad to say our experience at Advanced Fertility Associates was a completely different. My husband and I both absolutely loved Dr. Ratcliffe. She made us comfortable right from the start, she was extremely knowledgeable but explained everything in a way we could understand and we left with a very clear picture of our next steps. I am so excited to start our journey with them, our two month wait for our appointment was DEFINITELY worth it!

After having an ectopic a year ago and a negative experience at another clinic we found Dr. Ratcliffe.Our experience with Dr. Ratcliffe was extremely positive. She is direct & honest about the fertility process. It is very clear that she is dedicated to the process. Additionally, AFMG is much more financially accessible than most other fertility clinics allowing us to complete a successful round of IVF.We were extremely happy with our care at AFMG and happy to report a successful pregnancy.

Dr. Ratcliffe is condescending and pulls things out of her you know what. She talks over her patients and by the time my partner and I completed treatment, we felt like we had to keep our mouths closed because she would disregard what either of what we had to say. I would dread having to speak with her at appts. The staff was ok but you could tell they were also slightly scared of her. I dont recommend working with this office. Make the drive elsewhere

Dr. Ratcliffe and her team helped me conceive my son and I returned 1 year later to try for #2 after a bit of a journey Im pregnant again, thanks to her and the teams help. She has been doing this for years and it is great to have that experience and it be local. I would highly recommend their services.

We were hesitant to go down this road but after meeting with Dr Ratcliffe and her team, we knew we were in good hands. Dr Ratcliffe is very direct and does not beat around the bush, but I respect that and actually like that. She is highly knowledgeable and educated with the most current information and knows what shes doing! Most of the communication is with her NP Bonnie who is just an email or phone call away for any questions or concerns that may arise through the process. She was always reassuring and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. Lastly, her office staff are extremely friendly and efficient. Thanks to this team we get to meet our little girl June 2020. We could not recommend this team enough!

Advanced Fertility Associates was a great place. They were on our side every step of the way until we were successful. The employees always gave us the information we needed. Very good experience.

TRUST the negative reviews. As a fellow healthcare provider, I can say with confidence that she is not deserving of your business. Our visit began with her reciting a long, canned monologue about the basics of reproductive health. When I made attempts to interrupt her speech with questions that were specific to our situation, she was visibly annoyed and responded in a condescending manner.The horror show continued with the ultrasound. I specifically asked Dr. Ratcliffe if I could insert the wand before the exam. She not only didnt honor my request, she made disparaging comments about my egg supply.The visit was book-ended by Dr. Ratcliffe reading through her brochures and pressuring me to act now as if she were a used car salesman. My questions werent answered and I left the office feeling dehumanized and discouraged.I urge you to not give this woman and her practice any business. The fertility journey is a long one that should be handled with care and compassion. You have the right to partner with a practitioner who is patient-centered and ethical. Make the commute to SF or Marin where you have WAY better options.

Spent $240 and 30 minutes of time time for this women to question me in an interrogating tone and answer my questions condescendingly. I stopped her mid way through the apt to express that I was feeling uncomfortable with our interaction thus far and she disregarded my comment and just continued on. Once we ended the apt I felt completely drained, stressed, uninformed, unsupported, and essentially broke down crying. I’ve yet to complete the vaginal ultrasound that is included in the initial apt. I can’t imagine meeting this woman face to face and letting her touch my body. I requested a refund but they denied it. Don’t waste your time or money here. Go somewhere else.

I truly had a 5-star experience with Advanced Fertility Associates! I was hesitant to begin IVF and even waited a year after my initial consultation before beginning treatment. Dr. Ratcliffe was amazing! I knew I was in the best hands with her because she is intelligent, well-practiced, well-credentialed, and well-studied. She is up to date with the latest and greatest. Any time I had a question or concern she had an answer. She is also witty and funny which sets the tone for a happy experience. I always felt comfortable and safe with Dr. Ratcliffe. Bonnie the IVF coordinator is wonderful! She is along for the ride with you 100%. She was there to answer all of my important and trivial questions and ease my mind of every concern. She was very responsive (within several hours) to e-mail and phone calls and never seemed to tire of responding to my endless stream of inquiries. Ashley at the front desk always greeted us cheerfully with a smile and was available to help with appointments and payments. I know there are several other members of the team behind the scenes that I didnt work with directly but contributed to my awesome experience. I am grateful for these wonderful people!! At my final appointment I had a difficult time saying goodbye. It hit me right in the feels. I cant wait for my next round of IVF just so I can see everyone again! Bottom line: I would absolutely go back to Dr. Ratcliffe and advanced fertility associates for all future reporoductive needs.

I have nothing but positive things to say about AFAMG – my husband and I both loved Dr. Ratcliffe! We felt comfortable and assured in her capable hands. Our first round of IVF was a success!

We successfully conceived our daughter in my mid-40s here with Dr. Ratcliffe on the first try, after multiple IVFs elsewhere. I whole-heartedly recommend her and her office, who were such professionals and supportive which you need during this process.

I highly recommend Advanced Fertility Associates. They helped us achieve our ultimate goal of conception. We will be forever thankful. They are always responsive and available. They returned my calls outside of normal business hours and dealt with my numerous questions.

If you are serious about getting pregnant there is no better doctor or clinic out there to make that happen. We did 2 rounds of ivf with another clinic and I got pregnant the first time I saw Dr. Radcliff. She’s very good at what she does!

We had a wonderful experience with AFA. Someone was also available to answer questions and help guide us through this complicated process. We will be forever grateful for their care, expertise, and compassion.

Had one of the strangest experiences with this office. My husband and I arrived for our appointment, filled out the paperwork, and were then told the Dr. wouldn’t see us and they’d refund our money. No further explanation was given. It was baffling and unsettling.

I had a great experience with Advanced Fertility Associates. They were all so supportive and great at their jobs.

Not professional at all in my opinion.
