I have been a patient of Dr Patels twice. During our first round 4yrs ago, I had an amazing experience with the staff and doctor. Im currently pregnant now and my issue is with the billing dept. I received a bill at the beginning of 2024 for labs that were drawn in 2023 over $1k. I tried contacting them through my portal several times with no response. I called and expressed my concerns with them not responding and being felt like I was pushed to the side since I was no longer a client. Although the employee appeared to care and asked that I forward the bill to her, I still didnt receive a response. Someone emailed a day or two later asking about it and I informed her no one reached out or responded. I just sent yet another email that Im sure I wont get a response to but yet I bet they will respond to this review. Ivf is already expensive and stressful. Trying to sort out an unexpected bill while pregnant makes it even worse. Although I love my doctor and the care he provided us, we will not be returning with this team they have now.

While I really felt like Dr. Patel was knowledgeable, their office was nice, and the team was kind - this was an extreme waste of my money. I was able to get pregnant with my first child in 2023 with adjustment of my thyroid and prolactin levels. Upon coming to Dr. Patel to get pregnant with my second child, I informed them of what my history was, what worked last time, and was looking just to get those few levels in line. He did my consult where he had none of my previous labs and tried to convince me IVF was the only way. Then after doing testing, receiving previous medical documents, and having another meeting - he told me that it would not be possible for me to get pregnant without IVF. I doubted this heavily since I got pregnant just fine over a year before, but was cautious cause all he showed me pointed to that I would need IVF. Emotionally, it destroyed me as IVF is financially difficult but also physically difficult. The next month, I found out that I was pregnant naturally. No IVF, IUI, forced ovulation, nothing. My prolactin and thyroid levels weren’t even normalized cause I wasn’t on medication for them yet.This place sent me through an emotional trial all claiming I would need IVF and trying to make more money from me. I’m now 5 months pregnant completely naturally.Don’t go to Dr Patel unless you’re fine with just signing a check for thousands even if it’s not necessary. Absolutely shady medical practice.

I cannot express enough how much I love Dr. Patel and his entire staff. After 8+ years of trying, we were able to get pregnant on our first round of IVF and we could not be happier!! We were absolutely taken care of by everyone including Lauren, Kirsten, Jaci, Heather, Clarissa, Marci and Julia. Honestly such an amazing team and I could not say enough good things!

The experience for me has been horrendous. Horrendous. I can’t believe I’ve come this far with this office and should have transferred my embryos. The communication and the attitude of the nurses is even worse. They don’t properly explain to what you will go through and the WHY (it’s like they expect u to be sheep that just takes orders), then they give u an attitude for being frustrated.

Dr Goldstein and team are the bestest!! I waited 10 yrs for my first son.. Multiple doctors told me I was never going to be a mom :( … But gladly found Fertility Specialists and Dr Goldstein made possible the impossible…. My son is 4 yrs now , I am 43 and decided to try for our second frozen embryo and we were surprised how smooth and amazing the process was.. Currently 3 months pregnant!!! If you test your embryos they give you 85% chance to get pregnant!!! For me this was a 100% success rate as both times I got pregnant right after 1 transfer!!!! Thank you Dr Goldstein team for being great with me, will miss you!!!

If it wasn’t for Dr Patel I wouldn’t be a mom. Going through infertility was hard and making the decision to consult a fertility specialist was just as hard. However when I met Dr Patel and his team I was put at ease. They made this process so much easier and because of his expertise I welcomed my miracle baby 2/15/2024. THANK YOU.

My husband and I are very happy with the fertility specialist of Texas and Dr Patel. After more than 10 years of working with other fertility doctors. Dr Patel made our dream of becoming parents a reality. He took the time to determine what problems were causing our infertility and miscarriages. Dr Patel made sure to run genetic tests on both me and my husband to determine if there were any genetic abnormalities that were causing the miscarriages. He found that this was more than likely the cause of the miscarriages and put a plan of action in place. Because of Dr Patels comprehensive work we were able to become pregnant. We are very grateful to Dr Patel for his work to bring us our son.

We are so thankful for our miracle baby, and he might not be here without the team at FST. He is our greatest joy, and it was so wonderful to feel that we had a care team who was willing to work so hard to help us become a family!

I have never been treated worse by a doctor in my life. From the beginning my husband and I made it clear that we werent seeking IVF but just wanting to do some preliminary tests to make sure all was well and good after a year of trying to conceive without success. We stated this when we made the appointment and yet the first consultation meeting was only about IVF until we stopped Dr. Patel and reminded him we didnt want that. From that moment the consultation ended almost abruptly with him telling us he would have his assistant set up labs. That should have been our first clue that the goal was to get money from us and just treat us as a number instead of actually listening to our concerns. From that point it took almost a week to get labs set up just to get blood work done. Was I ever told what the blood work was for? No. I was just told you need tests so come in for it 2 days from now. Keep in mind, during all of this my husband has been entirely ignored. Everytime he has spoken up he has been dutifully dismissed. Its also impossible to get a hold of anyone. When the time came for my HSG (a test I was told to get but wasnt told anything about) I arrive and wait until the door suddenly bursts open and Dr. Patel and some assistant who was never introduced to me come in. I could tell they even realized it was wrong though as they quickly knocked on the door after they were already inside but then proceeded to not acknowledge at all while they started putting on full radiology protection and laughing together. Again, I had NO IDEA what to expect, I thought some type of ultrasound or something but was never given any information when out of nowhere I am in PAIN. I mention this and Dr. Patel just says oh yeah, I know I told you about that off handedly (no. no he didnt.) and then instructed me to move so he could see what was happening on screen. 2 minutes later he sees what he wanted to, and rushes out of the room saying Im good to go, no answer and no explanation of what I was looking at or how it went. His parting statement was just to compare me to the IVF patients who he doesnt make go through this because theres no point haha. I then get dressed and put on a pad, something I only knew to do because the receptionist who took me back to the room mentioned it was a good idea against the dye leeking out and staining my underwear (no mention of the blood) and I was sent away. I actually forced the receptionist to talk to me as the assistant was speaking with her and begged for some information and an explanation of the blood test results that had been uploaded to my patient portal already and was just told to expect a call later and shown the door. Spoiler warning: I did not get a call later. I then proceeded to feel horrible cramps all day and realized when I got home that my abdomen was now so bloated/swollen I looked to be 5 months pregnant. I practically couldnt move from the pain and discomfort but, to be honest, I wouldnt have minded if I had just been told to expect it. Instead I had to google if this was normal and it apparently was. I finally called them asking for someone to go over the test results with me and my husband and it still took another day to get the call back at which point they still wouldnt tell me my husbands results because of HIPPA (fair, fine.) but then took almost the entire day to call him as well. The moment he did get a call the first thing said was ok, youre good to go for IVF proving once more that no one had actually looked at the chart. He had to bring up a question we had about the results on the patient portal that, again according to google because no one told us anything, were supposedly abnormal to which they were surprised, looked again, and said a little but its fine. Im just so frusterated and upset by the clear disragaurd for us because we werent specifically IVF (again, yet, we just want to explore all options first) and it just felt like that meant we were nothing but a bag of cash in their eyes.

Dr. Patel is not the doctor to go to if you’re wanting to be heard or to explore your options with fertility. He’s going to very insistently push you to IVF because it’s his biggest money maker. HE WANTS YO MONEY $$$

Dr Patel and the team here are amazing! We went to see them after 1.5 years of trying to conceive and ended up doing IUI and had success our first round! It did take a few weeks before we could be seen but after that we hit the ground running. The entire team was very responsive and knew what they were talking about. Dr Patel is extremely knowledgeable and good at his job! This is a clinic takes a fairly aggressive approach which I personally loved as my husband and I were fully ready to start this journey. A huge thank you to Dr patel and his team!

FST is the best clinic !! dr Patel is truly a miracle doctor we absolutely adore him he was patient, kind and understanding!! Thanks to this amazing staff for always making us feel comfortable. We have our miracle baby boy thanks to this entire staff!!! We are so blessed and it was worth the wait !!

I always knew I wanted a family some day, and with a mother who was one of nine, I never thought much about having fertility challenges. So, after my 30th birthday I told my husband I was ready to start trying for our family. I tracked, and tested, and did everything I could feasibly do at home to set us up for success and confirmed I seemed to be ovulating regularly. Being the Type A planner in our marriage, after 6 months of trying I approached my husband and asked what he thought he could do to increase our chances (exercise more, stop drinking, etc.). Rather than assume something was wrong, he suggested he have a sperm analysis done since it was little cost, and easily performed (mostly to put my concern to rest). A few days later when we received the results, we were both shocked that he had extremely low sperm count, very low motility, and poor morphology. I had never had anyone in my close circle experience male infertility, and our hopes for a family felt shattered. My husband was referred to a urologist, and after being identified as having a grade 2 varicocele, underwent a varicocele repair surgery. We patiently waited for the three months to pass to see how his sperm parameters had been impacted. While he did see a pretty significant improvement, it was not necessarily enough to feel confident in conceiving naturally. His urologist shared two different IVF clinics, one being Fertility Specialists of Texas. The closest location to us was Southlake with Dr. Patel. From the very first virtual consult, I knew Dr. Patel was who I wanted to work with. He was clearly very knowledgable in his field, shared very helpful information, but what really set him apart was his tremendous level of empathy for what we were going through. After that call in early 2022, we started our IVF journey. Dr. Patel and the entire FST staffs positivity, care, and attention to detail, helped us through two back-to-back retrievals (a suggestion I am so thankful Dr. Patel made). Finally, on August 31, 2023 we transferred our future miracle baby. Seeing the little flash of light on the ultrasound ignited the quiet hope in my heart, that this little embryo would turn into miracle baby. When I received the call after my first HCG Beta that I was officially pregnant, I cried tears of joy. Now looking at my beautiful baby girl almost a year from her transfer day, I feel so grateful to FST and Dr. Patel.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. Run away!! Go anywhere but here. The communication was terrible. They initially gave my husband the wrong login information. Tests results we got were wrong, information was mismanaged. Internally they have communication issues that the staff was open about.There are other options… I highly suggest you choose one of those. Good luck!!

After battling infertility for several years we went to see Dr. Satin Patel to begin our IVF journey. When we approached him in 2017 he suggested surgery prior to starting IVF, so that I would feel better before starting any treatments. That showed us how compassionate Dr. Patel truly is. In April of 2018 we decided to begin the journey again, and we expressed our desire to have children as quickly as possible. He was very patient and understanding with us, and always listened to our concerns. He explained things very well and was truly looking out for what was best for us in this difficult time.We traveled 9 hours round trip for our treatment, and Jennifer Cope was amazing at making sure the appointments worked best for our schedule. There was NEVER a long wait and she ALWAYS greeted us with a friendly smile.Alyssa Fox was absolutely INCREDIBLE! She was always on top of all of her emails and calls. She was extremely understanding and very easy to talk to.We continually rave about the amazing journey we have experienced with The Fertility Specialist of Texas in our Finding Baby Flora journey. We look forward to our next transfer with this amazing team!

This is unfortunate. I know without a doubt Dr. Patel is a great doctor. I was referred to him through many women on a private IVF board. Unfortunately, I have left 3 messages over the last 4 weeks about a consult as we were looking for a second opinion. All my information was taken, passed on to the new patient team. I was told someone would get back to me within 24 hours. I have since left two messages with the new patient team, which notes a returned phone call in two hours, but have yet to receive a returned call for either voicemail over a period of weeks.There is a lot of stress that goes into IVF, but if you cant even return a phone call to schedule an appointment, it does not bode well for the response you would get through your transfer cycle.

We had the best experience with Dr. Patel. It took us a while to get pregnant but we couldn’t have done it without him and his team. We loved our nurse, Alyssa, and we always looked forward to seeing Jennifer at the Southlake location. We considered them family through this process. We are a 2 Mom household and they always made us feel comfortable. I would recommend Fertility Specialists to everyone. We will be back for Baby #2.

I cant rave about Dr. Patel, his nurse Alyssa, and the entire staff at FST enough. My husband and I had just been through an incredibly hard year of chemotherapy and kidney transplant, then we found out we had to deal with infertility on top of everything else. Dr. Patel gave us hope from our first appointment that we would be able to have a family and I am so happy to say that we do! I was nervous and scared going into our IVF cycle but FST was there for us every step of the way. And we now have four month old twin girls! I am so thankful for Dr Patel and his team. We have our miracle babies because of them and I am grateful every day!

At the beginning of our fertility journey we hardly knew anything about the process, we had so many questions and concerns and just felt so overwhelmed! Every treatment is exhausting in so many ways, but having a doctor and nurses who are there to answer all of your questions and more makes the process so much easier! We have to say a HUGE thank you to Fertility Specialist of Texas. Dr. Patel and his staff were amazing beyond words. We have been seeing them for awhile now and have grown close to all of them, so they felt the same emotions we felt with every unsuccessful treatment, which made it that much more heart felt when they celebrated the success with us. We absolutely could not have done this without them, they helped us get our miracle baby!

I love the flexibility to schedule appointments at their different office locations! Dr. Patel is an amazing doctor and our first IVF cycle was successful. Even though he is based in the Southlake office I was able to have all my testing and monitoring performed in the Frisco office which is close to my job. I was able to go in first thing in the morning for appointments and make it work by 8:30 am 90% of the time! The process was times efficient and we are so thankful it resulted in our beautiful baby girl!

We had the best experience with Dr. Patel and his staff. He is so caring and compassionate with his patients. He is willing to answer any questions and explains everything to you. The staff was always super nice at all of my appointments. Dr. Patel has completed our family, 5 years ago with our son, and now twin girls We cant thank them enough for everything they have done. I would definitely recommend them.

Dr. Patel and his staff were truly amazing. They were so kind and compassionate during the whole process. Dr. Patel explained things very clearly and walked us through the journey perfectly. Infertility is such a difficult road to go down and you can not go wrong having FST-Southlake carrying you through it. We are forever grateful for their help in having our little miracle.

Dr Patel and his staff have truly been a blessing to our family. His knowledge and expertise gave my husband and I answers no other specialist had been able to. Jennifer is always supportive and willing to help in any way she can. Infertility is a stressful, emotional, and exhausting disorder and we are thankful we found Dr Patel.

I cant speak on the customer service of other offices but the staff or medical assistant of Dr.Patel is very unresponsive and not the most courteous. We are just beginning our journey and have sent 3 emails in a span of a week and have received no response. Anytime we call the assistant is unavailable and although she does call back my wife is unable to answer by then. We are having 2nd doubts on going with Dr.Patel mostly because I dont feel his staff is committed or interested in helping us. I want to say its the southlake location with poor service because we were initially in touch with someone else (maybe Marilyn) which was so pleasant. No complaints or compliments on Dr.Patel. Just wished his staff was more committed to customer service and reply to emails.

We had a great experience with Dr. Patel! He has a gentle bedside manner, which is important when fertility can be a sensitive topic. We got pregnant on our first IVF try, although we did have 3 failed IUI attempts. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and Alyssa to anyone who needs help on their pregnancy journey.

If I could give this fertility clinic a higher rating I would. My husband and I moved here from Alabama just a few short months after finding out we couldn’t have kids naturally. After some research we booked a consultation with them and fell in love on day 1. Dr. Patel took the time to simply explain everything to us during our consultation. Not once did he make us feel stupid or rushed. During the long and draining process I became close with the office staff from the nurses to the receptionist. They always made me feel comfortable and like family which I feel is extremely important in this process. We are now excitedly expecting our first child next week thanks to the help and expertise of this clinic. HIGHLY recommended, and we will be going back for our second child!

Best Doctor in town! Absolutely would recommend Dr Patel and his staff to anybody looking for fertility help! I was so nervous and unsure of what i wanted when i first went to see Dr Patel but he made me feel comfortable and gave me faith. The staff is friendly, patient, and extremely helpful.

My wife and I went to Dr Patel and now im very thankful to be welcoming my 1st SON.Ok granted I was hesitant initially but it was worth it they treated my wife and I with RESPECT not just a patient. If my wife had any question she would email Terriane she was very responsive and understanding I would hear her talking on the phone thinking its her friends but its Dr Patels office, they make you feel that comfortable. Yessina is the only lady that can draw my wifes blood she was awesome very good at her job.I want to personally Thank The Southlake office for what they did for my familyIm Hoping to see you guys soon but my wife said NO MORE CHILDREN BUT YOU GUYS HAVE OUR EMBRYOS SHE WILL BE BACK 😄Thank you again

If you are looking for the best fertility clinic then you have found it! Dr. Patel and his team here at the Southlake location go above and beyond to make you feel at home. From scheduling, to labs, to billing - everything is handled efficiently and with care! The back office staff are so kind and really care about you as a patient and a person. Wonderful team here!!!

Dr.Patel is so REAL ... what i mean by that is he makes your thought process be at ease. When i came there I was nervous and scared. Jenn made me reassured when she said they take care of everyone and make you feel comfortable. I went back and the ladies were just as sweet. Dr.Patel didn’t immediately jump into the same “Lose weight” . Instead he made me feel like we were a TEAM . He even closed with “YOU WILL HAVE A BABY” ... he’s a PCOS GOD to me . He is helping me deal with a disease that I never understood! I cannot wait to have my miracle baby here.

I absolutely Love Dr Patel and his nurse Terriane this is my very 1st ivf I was so scared at the beginning but they made everything easy for my spouse and I. My very 1st Fet im pregnant I COULDNT be more happy!!!!! Im getting released from his care soon and im so sad about it ive grown to love them.Thank you DR PATEL YOU HAVE COMPLETED MY FAMILY WE ARE SO THANKFUL.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Patel and his staff. After a failed 1st round of IVF I was hesitant to try again, but with the support and encouragement from everyone at FST and especially the grapevine (now Southlake staff) we had our second round of IVF and now have a beautiful little boy. We are so thankful for the caring team at FST that helped our little miracle get here!!

Our experience with Dr. Patel was amazing!! We have an adorable one year old son. The experience was so wonderful we are in the process for baby #2!! The office staff are great and Dr. Patel is the BEST!!

My wife and I have been apart of FST since 2019. With wanting to take the first steps into parenthood we took action into looking at which fertility clinic suited us best. At our consult with Dr. Patel we knew FST was for us! With the help of Dr. Patel, nurses and a sprinkle of science we were gifted the most beautiful child. Now we are on the path into starting our next child this fall. We love our FST team!

This is my first experience with IVF and if it werent for Dr. Patels team of Terianne J and Yezenia C I would be a mess. Terianne has went above and beyond to answer any and all of my questions and boy have I had a lot of them. She made sure to make me feel like a priority during a bout of OHSS and helped me to not stress and keep my anxiety about the entire experience to a minimum. Any time I am in the office they always ask how I am doing and make sure that my questions are answered to the best of their ability. If they don t have the answer they promptly get the answer and relay it back to me. I had some confusion about the portal and how it works and both Yezenia and Terianne took the time to explain it so I knew exactly how it worked and what to look for. Yezania is the queen of blood drawls and makes sure you are comfortable the whole time. Take it from someone who has breakdowns anytime I have to give blood she is amazing. Even though they have so many patients coming in These two have made me feel not only like a priority but that my experience is unique and special making my time at the office to far beyond my wildest expectations. I cannot say enough how thankful I am for these two ladies and all they have done for me to take the scary out of the experience and make it an exciting one. More doctors offices need women like them..

Dr. Patel is a good, compassionate doctor with an excellent success rate and that is why I chose his clinic. It’s been a difficult personal infertility journey and I’m glad they have been working so hard to help me through it.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place! The staff and DR Patel are incredible! Extremely professional and made us feel very welcome and taken care of! We are expecting twins thanks to them and we couldn’t feel more blessed!

Went through IVF with this company. Started seeing dr. Dorsett, with a sweet caring nurse to begin with, then I get a new nurse who has no sense of compassion. I went through the ER and had only one viable normal tested embryo and we transferred.our second beta came back showing we lost it. The nurse called me, no compassion, no remorse, no I’m sorry. Nothing. Basically like let’s get you back in here for another to make sure youre at 0 on the last beta. I didn’t feel much like a paient just more like dollar signs. Just put me on what the runout everyone on, didn’t cater to what my body goes through and make a plan for that. I have been looking for a new clinic for next year when I go through this again because this clinic here was not the one. Sadly.

Extremely disappointing and poor experience. As if this journey isn’t difficult enough, their office staff is a mess. I made an appointment a month ahead of time. Received a text message that I needed to fill out my information on the patient portal. Went online, did it, got a confirmation that it was complete and that I would be receiving appointment confirmation within 24 hours. The next day I got a text message that it wasn’t complete and I still needed to do it. I called them and got their after hours answering service. I let them know that I completed everything I could and I wanted to confirm my appointment or to please call me if there was something they still needed. Never heard back the next day, so I assumed everything was fine. I called them 5 mins before my appointment because I was running 5 mins behind to let them know, and they said that my appointment had been canceled. Jennifer was extremely rude to me and said that Rachel had tried to call me and email me yesterday with no response. I had no missed call from their number, I checked my phone log. I had no email, I double checked my email. She then transferred me to Rachel who said she didn’t try to call me but did try to email me and then asked if she had the correct email address. She was given the wrong email address, which is why I never received an email. I asked them if they could still get us in since we were 1 mike away at the point and we’re told the dr couldn’t see us because he had a meeting. So we both took off work, drove all the way to Southlake from Fort Worth to not get our consultation because of their error. Do yourself a favor and avoid this clinic. I wish I would have. I should have listened to all the other poor reviews compared to others, but I I wanted to do my homework and meet with all of them in the area.

Dr Patel made my dream come true! The staff really took care of us during the entire process and also kept an open line of communication. If questions needed to be answered they got back with me in a timely manner and I appreciate that.

Thank you to everyone who shared their reviews. As a new patient going into this they were on the list of specialist to consider and research, calling their office I was created over the phone so rudely. Glad my husband and I dodged this bullet and decided not to go any further with them.

Patel was exceptional and patient in listening to the concerns and help us with the problems.Im really upset with the billing department. I specifically told them not to use HRA funds and use my FSA account. They charged both FSA/HRA and they didnt even notice until I called them and asked about it.It happened twice. One time I understand but the same problem again and again.

$50,000.00 Beware, this is not included, gas, food, hotel stays, in a year, what my wife and has spent with this clinic, we tried Ivf 2 times, first time not good, second worse. But. We were so excited we where pregnant.. went to get the ultrasound, what a minute the doc said? No baby... that’s never happened before, what??? Sent my wife home, never gave a response of why, and not a phone call, till 2 weeks later to check up on her, ummm ok, so what Now? We had to go to an OB to find out what to do next, it’s overwhelming to not know what to do next. No they should have been more professional about this, and what ever happened to bed side manner??? Guess they don’t teach that , ,anymore. My advice, take your hard earned money somewhere else.

From the moment we walked through the door until it was time to leave it was a seamless, unrushed,process. From the nurse being very awesome. And Dr. Paitel will to answer every question you may have and even ask you somethings to get your thought process going. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for assistance.. To my family out there theyre GLBTQ friendly..

The staff was fantastic at this location. I have had my bad share of staff at front desks and the staff that run the lab and everyone here was top notch. They were all kind, helpful and always remembered me. I saw Dr. chilvers who was also amazing. I couldn’t recommend this location and doctor more!

Called to make an appointment quickly changed my mind after dealing with the rude staff. The fertility experience is awful enough way to make it that much worse.

They expect you to only read paperwork and never actually explain anything to you. I didnt feel I ever gat a straight answer.. Dont ever expect to see your doctor more than one time.

It was one of the worst experience of my life…. The doctor and staff was unprofessional, and the only thing that was more concerned about was the money!!!!!
