Excellent service Excellent 👏 i love this clinic for my 3 pregnancy i got Excellent service im so happy i take my baby there my babys Doctor is so sweet nice she cares about my concerns she is wonderful Ms Maria friendly nice lady Oneida Excellent the girl at the clinic in the front i love her she is no nice snd polite friendly ilove ❤️ UTMB Sugarland as well my babys nurse she is so nice sweet all my pretanal visits were great specially with OB Adriana Corvera and OB Arin they care for me and i really appreciate the two hispanics nurses where nice to me friendly i dont remember there names and the manager she was so sweet on my concerns many time i call she help me she was sweet as well nurses are very nice polite professional i deliver my baby at the UTM Galveston i had excellent experience services its excellent place to deliver

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACEI sincerely wish I could give zero stars.Although the receptionist and billing ladies were very sweet the nurse who attended me was INSANELY rude and showed absolutely no compassion!I made my appointment over the phone and communicated that I had been told by an ER doctor that I had an ovarian cyst that may need surgery. So naturally when I found out I was pregnant I wanted to get an appointment as soon as possible to make sure that the baby wouldn’t be effected at all. The operator assured me that she would write a note on my appointment stating the reason for my visit.After waiting over an hour to be seen, I communicated to the nurse the concerns I had over the cyst and the safety of my baby. She proceeded to show ZERO empathy for my desire to get an ultrasound as soon as possible. Her attitude was nasty and completely unwarranted. After taking my blood pressure I asked if my husband could be brought back to the room with me and she literally told me to go get himself myself.Thereafter we waited in the room for over 10 mins with no nurse or doctor to speak with us. Outside of the door I could very clearly hear that same nurse make comments such as: I’m not going back in there so you’re gonna have to go in there and talk to her, I hate when people come here and tell us how to do our job like they know, and I didn’t give her the dose yet if you just wanna send her out (referring to the glucose test. I said I didn’t wanna take it unless I could get more info on the primary concern I came in for).By no means am I a rude or impolite person. I didn’t give this lady an attitude or undermine her knowledge in any way. I stated my concern for my safety and my desire to have the cyst issue specifically looked at.But for whatever reason she took offense to my questions and made me feel horrible on my husband and I’s first baby appointment.After hearing all of her hateful comments I finally stepped outside to see if we can just be attended to and leave. The doctor was standing a few feet away from the door and I asked when we’d be able to seen. She said “I can see you know” She literally was just standing there making no attempt to see to us. So there’s no telling how long she would have left us to wait.She told us there’s nothing they could do for us. There was no attempt to offer resources or refer us to proper care. Incompetent is truly the best way to describe these people! I shared how the pain in my side was getting very severe the past few days and her best advice was to go to a hospital. Not any opinion of what could be the issue or what it might mean for my child. Both the nurse and doctor were extremely dismissive with every concern I voiced. I thought this appointment would give my family and I peace of mind but it did the complete opposite. I left the appointment crying and frustrated.And to clarify, them not having the proper resources to give me an ultrasound is not the issue. That part was somewhat understandable. The issue was how they treated us and the nurse’s lack of compassion and professionalism. She should be fired for actions. Pure hatefulness!Not to mention we arrived at our 9:15 appointment on time and we weren’t seen until almost 10:30. We saw patients who arrived after us come in and out before we were even seen.

I went here for my pre-natal visit and delivered at the UTMB in Galveston on New Years. At first I was super hesitant to goto the utmb because of the reviews but I had a great Obgyn Adriana Cyrus. She actually asked me lots of questions and took the time to listen to every little thing I had to say.My birth at the utmb in Galveston was so complicated because I had COVID-19 at the time. I don’t think it’s normally like that. I stayed in quarantine but the nurses that came in were really sympathetic and kept me company when they could since my husband wasn’t allowed in.I ended up having a preemie in the NICU and have been visiting the utmb Galveston regularly and have nothing to complain about. The NICU staff is friendly, helpful and informative.

This is place is the MOST UNRELIABLE, LAZY, INCOMPETENT AND UNINFORMATIVE place I have ever seen.After we made an appointment and explained the exact issue we were coming for, we arrived at the set time for our appointment, was made to wait about 2 HOURS without any information on why,was attended to by a RUDE UGLY LOOKING TECHNICIAN, who had the guts to stand in front of the door and talk about how she has not time to come explain anything to us,The we opened the door just to see the doctor standing there almost making no intention of coming into the room to attend to us,Then she comes in to tell us, OH THERE’S NOTHING THEY CAN DO, the schedulers just schedule and they don’t know what to do. AND NEVER RAN ANY TEST!!!So, we wasted hours of driving, kept waiting for hours, told they have no idea what to do with the situation, have no prescription…These people ARE INCOMPETENT! STAY AWAY

They don’t prioritize their patients well being or medical care. The staff is lazy, being understaffed is not the issue. Today they were more than fully staff and everyone was sitting at their respective desks laughing, talking, taking personal calls from their kids and discussing what they were cooking for Thanksgiving. If I could rate them 0 stars, it would be much more fitting.

Worst clinic the MA/RN act like they are doctors.

Always low on staff. The ladies in the front take a good 10 to 15 minutes to tend to a patient in line.All appointments take an hour to an hour and a half long. Even if you get there early, you wont be called in for another 20min.I have tried scheduling an appointment for myself because the one i have made for tha same doctor have been canceled twice already.

I have been using the clinic more than a month. Staff are frendly and helpful, but I always have problems with answers and getting results. I am pregnant first time and I asked my ultrasound result 5 times -in clinic, in online account, by phone. that is awful. Today I called for discussion my blood with my doctor (or anyone), I left a message, but nobody called me back !!!

The young girl at the front desk is super rudeI brought my daughter with me for my appointment. They said I couldn’t bring anyone. Couple months after they said the policy changed so I took my daughter again because I didn’t have a babysitter now she tells me I can’t bring my daughter because she’s a child.Last time she was considered a visitor like any other adult so they said no visitors but now she’s not a visitor. That’s ridiculous. This same girl was fighting with another patient while I was in the waiting area. She needs to be replaced with someone nicer.

Ms. Katie and Ms. Adriana are simply amazing! They didn’t rush me, actually listened to my concerns, gave me so much information and many options, and ultimately gave me full control of what i wanted to do with my body and ways they can help me altogether. It only sucked that i had to wait two months to see them but it was very worth it. Very knowledgable women in this facility. Only place I’ll be going to 👍🏾

I dont know what is going on with this location but customer service has sucked lately. I come in for bloodwork and I have to wait for an hour, thirty mintues (1 hour 30minutes), people are appointments to see providers come and go. I come in for wellness child, I wait over two hours. If you need help or need to turn away patients, please let us know. I have been coming here for over 6years and if nothing is changed, I will believe my business is no longer needed and will take myself elsewhere.

Very rude, unprofessional, and judgmental. They started talking about me in Spanish while I was standing right in front of them. They thought I didn’t understand what they were saying, so I pulled out my phone and had a full blown conversation with my mom in Spanish. They don’t know you or your situation and as they’re asking questions, they don’t mind their tone or facial expressions. I have never been more uncomfortable in a doctor’s office. I will never return to this place again.

You can hear them discussing patient information through the door. So unprofessional, some of the ladies up there are nice but others need to fix their tone.

Just went to my appointment to get seen about anxiety. Was told from Katy clinic I’d need to go to the sugar land clinic. Waste of time. Doctor barely asked any questions and I left with no help. Also accused me of not knowing when I’m having asthma. I’ve had it since I was 8 .. I would know. Let’s not count that I had to wait in the room for 40 minutes just to be told all that.

I don’t know what to say. It’s my first time with them. I have been calling the facility since last week, everytime being on hold for 50 mins. I never get to talk with the provider. I have been sending messages through my chart yet no response. No one has called me back yet.

I came here twice for my well womans exam. They are so helpful and nice. They really care about their patients! i honestly recommend this place to anyone. It is a great clinic for women as it is a predominantly women staff.

Im not exactly sure why this clinic has so many bad reviews. I came here for my well womens exam and they were the most helpful, informative, and caring people I have ever dealt with. Seriously what an amazingly professional place. I never felt so welcomed! I will come back for exams in the future.

I am writing a review based off the experience I had with the actual Dr. I originally scheduled an apt just to confirm pregnancy. I didn’t plan on using UTMB for my main physician for pregnancy. Once I realized they were wanting to do more test than just confirm pregnancy I figured the right thing to do is tell the nurse I only wanted confirmation of pregnancy so we didn’t waste each other time . The nurse was sweet and understanding. Then the dr shortly came in and I I also let her know that I would not be using them as my main dr . I guess she got upset and threatened me that If i didn’t do the lab work that “ the Medicaid office was going to tear my Medicaid up.” How dare her threaten me with my insurance when she doesn’t even work in that department . All because she was clearly offended I didn’t want to use them as my Dr. That is not how you talk to people especially threatening them trying to scare them into thinking they have to go with them . The people who put the apt in system should’ve noted it was just confirmation of pregnancy . Again the nurse was sweet , the bad experience came from the dr herself .

I had my first ultrasound and honestly i didnt like the fact that the lady who did it didnt explain or talked much at all during the ultrasound. She just took pictures and basically did what she needed to do, she didnt give me any information at all i HAD to ask her if the baby was all good or else she wouldnt say anything at all, she didnt tell me an exact due date NOTHING. I wish i had those doctors that talk to you and explain and tell you what im seeing on the screen and just make it exciting, it even felt awkward crying next to her. she did congradulate me and all but still.. my experience was just not what i expected.

My daughters Fnp Adriana is the best! Just love how interactive she is with my husband and I and our daughter. Love how thorough she is with our baby. She explains everything and is always in the best mood. So for anyone looking for a great Family Nurse Practitioner choose Adriana Corvera !

AWFUL! AVOID ALL UTMB OFFICES! instead, go see Dr. Rafael DeAyala. He is a great doctor. I found him after my awful experience with UTMB in Sugarland and Katy. The lady who did my ultrasound (Jeanne? Jain? Jean?) at the UTMB Sugarland location in January 2019 was terrible at her job.

The best place to go for your Family Planning is UTMB Sugar Land. Beautiful Angels of God in human form work there. Mrs. Teresa Bowman MSN and Ms. Adriana Corvera FNP are amazing professional healthcare workers. I really appreciate them. - Caroline

You get scheduled for a 15 minute appointment and get out 2 hours later. Never seen at the scheduled time. Theyre always bullshiting and carrying on seems like.

Bad clinic. The girls at the reception are so confused and unprofessional . Openly discussing patient diagnoses which goes against HIPPA.

I am an actual patient here and i am amazed by the ugly reviews in my experience everything has been really good from the front staff to the doctors every single appt yeah when i called the first time to make an appt i did not like it because they ask you about religion your race (very personal stuff ) that i think should be only in paper but that has been the only thing i didnt like

This is the best clinic i ever been too i do not care they deliver in galveston they treat u like ur so important to them there always on point with ur stuff this is my 4th pregnancy and i always come here.

I love this clinic, I have had my 2 pregnancies here with Dr. Adriana who is super cute and friendly, I love her, and the nurses also do incredible work, its just that the girls at the front desk are sometimes in a bad mood. Furthermore, whenever they called me to make an appointment they told me that no one could go with me, but while I was there, the Hindu couples arrived up to 3 people and they didnt tell them anything, I mean it could be misinterpreted], I recommend this clinic 100% because Dr Adriana I love her, she is a very good Dr

All my children were born in this hospital and treated at utmb Sugar land. Excellent service, super professional doctors and they helped me with the entire process. The hospital is very clean and comfortable, the staff is very friendly.

I cant stop thinking about the day my daughter got her vaccinations, what an outrage, the way they give them seems animalistic, that nurse has no professional ethics and when I told her, she told me, heres the one who knows, its me, well, but it seems like she didnt know. 😡😡😡
