The whole staff at Shady Grove fertility in Clear Lake were amazing, from Gina who drew my blood, to my nurse Brooke, to the sonographer, Bo, and my NP Jeanine!! I am so thankful we found Dr. Crochet. Since the very first visit with him, he made us feel comfortable and we knew were in good hands. He was very personable, and I always felt he listened to me and answered all of our questions. His nurse Brooke was always very responsive to my calls and messages. Five stars doesn’t seem like enough to rate a Doctor and team who helped you conceive your first child.

10/10 highly recommend SGF Clearlake!! Dr. Schnell, NP Jeanine and the entire staff is absolutely amazing. Dr. Schnell is so confident & thorough with her plan. Her main goal to make sure we get pregnant as soon as possible. We were able to pregnant with our 1st IUI!! We are ecstatic with the outcome and how quick it was for us. The entire staff is professional and I left every appointment feeling confident on what was going on. They are also very efficient with getting back with you asap. I would 100% come back for my next treatment if needed. Thank you Dr. Schnell and the entire staff!! You guys have made my dreams came true!!

I had the best experience here at SGF especially with Dr. Schnell and her amazing staff. I was recommended to SGF after two devastating losses. I am currently pregnant on my first round of IVF, and I am very blessed and thankful. Dr. Schnell has over 20 years of experience and she was there for us every step of the way. With IVF comes lots of blood work and the phlebotomist Gina was smooth and got it right every time!! The blonde nurse that always helped me out during my appointments was so caring and compassionate to her patients. Everyone at the clinic was so nice and caring and I will definitely be back for my next transfer! I have nothing but positive comments toward this clinic and the team I worked with; I cannot recommend them enough! So thankful for Dr. Schnell and her team!

From the very first start of this fertility journey was very interesting and informative. Dr Crochet is our Dr and his staff was so incredibly helpful and supportive. Starting with the MAs Marissa, and Mandi are so sweet and kind. The phlebotomist Gina was amazing during blood draws! The ultrasound tech Bo was the best at performing her job super sweet very nice and kind throughout the entire process. Jeanine the PA was so understanding and very informative, she is absolutely amazing!! Our nurses Brooke and Kelsey are absolutely amazing and wonderful, they were super supportive during the whole process answered all my questions and concerns as I (Amanda) was very nervous about everything. Overall I give this clinic a 10 star if I could it was the best decision to have had treatment here!!

I can’t recommend Shady Grove Clear Lake enough. The staff was always so kind and helpful. After suffering two miscarriages and a year of infertility we looked to SGH for help. We were assigned to Dr. Crochet who thoroughly explained our options. Everyone we dealt with was so kind and encouraging. Nurse Brooke was so efficient with answering any of questions I might have had.I’m so thankful for Dr crochet and his staff for helping us achieve a pregnancy after over a year of heart break.

Dr. Crochet and his care team are WONDERFUL and so knowledgeable. Infertility journeys are extremely hard and emotional and this team does an amazing job of not only making sure things go as well as they can, but that you also feel comfortable throughout. They are excellent at helping you make informed decisions regarding your care and explain everything thoroughly. There is no one else that I would trust with this journey & I cannot recommend them enough!!

I was referred here by my obgyn. The initial appointment was great but anytime I’ve had a question afterwards has been an issue. I was told my insurance would not cover the costs because the clinic was not in network but I have confirmed with my insurance that they are. I’ve tried to call the finance people but nobody answers the phone or returns my call.

When we started with Shady Grove I had a multitude of fertility issues. We met with Dr. Crochet and he was knowledgeable, compassionate and never too busy to answer our many questions. We knew that we had a 0% chance of getting pregnant naturally, but of course the cost of IVF was more than intimidating. Dr.crochet walked us through all of our options every step of the way and managed to get me pregnant on the first try with IUI after making sure that every other hurdle was covered first to give us the very best chance of success. He was nothing short of a miracle worker. We managed to save over $30k in IVF that every other doctor immediately recommended before even trying any alternative options. Our family is forever grateful to Dr. Crochet and the staff at Shady Grove!

How do you ever begin to express your gratitude and appreciation for everything the entire staff did at Shady Grove. Dr. Crochet is a Godsend. I dont have enough good things to say about him. He is patient, knowledgeable, understanding, genuine and reassuring. Our journey was rough, but he was by us every step of the way. And his staff, I wouldnt have made it through without all of them. From my nurses, to my ultrasound techs, NPs, phlebotomist, front desk, they were truly remarkable. They were kind, warm, compassionate and you knew they genuinely care about you as a person and not just a patient. After years of struggling we were finally successful all thanks to Dr. Crochet and his team. I could not recommend Shady Grove enough! 5 stars is not enough for giving me the ultimate gift of being able to be a mother.

Dr. Schnell and her team are amazing! She is her patients’ biggest cheerleader and will never give up on you. She and her team go above and beyond for all the patients! She is also a very kind person who takes the time to listen, answer questions and shows great patience. She is an expert in her field and takes what is a stressful situation of uncertainties and brings calmness and peace to the journey.

Dr. Schnell is a fantastic doctor. She made a plan for us to take supplements and performed a hysteroscopy to help me on our TTC journey. I have been recommending Dr. Crochet at Shady Grove Fertility to anyone who needs it! The front desk and nurse staff were so nice. Each time I met with Dr. Crochet he was incredibly well prepared and took the time to answer every single question I had with a very thoughtful answer. He was very patient and thoughtful with what medicines and procedures we tried, but he was also very vocal about not wanting to waste any precious time and maximize our odds quickly.Appointments were pretty easy to make and the staff was very knowledgeable about my coverage and insurance benefits. The most difficult issue I came across was trying to get a hold of someone after hours. The answering machine is nice unless you have a very urgent question. It put me in a bind a few times. Once I needed to urgently speak with a nurse because I had difficultly mixing the injection for the first time. I would recommend taking the time to have the nurse or doctor go over the injection process in person with you instead of relying on the video they provide (which showed different methods and medicines than I received).I am happily 8 months along with our first miracle baby and would go back in a heart beat when we are ready for our second.

Overall had a good experience but some major frustrations as well. The doctor was knowledgeable and the nurses and other staff were nice. It was wonderful that the office opens relatively early, I could even get lab appointments before 7am. Communication with the medical team was SUPER frustrating. Every time you want to talk to them, you need to leave a voicemail and MAYBE theyll call you back within 24 hrs.I wasnt given good guidance or direction on medications and I ended up having to order several medications last minute urgently to get them in time. Recommend having the team go over details on how / when to get each of the medications. Sometimes insurance can hold up the process, so better to start early.At my last ob appointment, I signed paperwork for the office to transfer my records to my normal doctor within 12-14 days. It didnt happen, apparently I was expected to bring the packet of paper copies to my doctor, which would have been fine if they told me I should do that from the start.You will stay on with them for 10 weeks after getting pregnant and then transfer to your normal doctor. Recommend reaching out to your doctor to give them a heads up, especially if youre wanting any first trimester genetic testing (we ended up getting pregnant naturally and stayed with SGF for 10 weeks and I felt behind when I transferred to my doctor).

Absolutely horrendous treatment care. Was told to administer medication at home at very specific times and was never provided dosage information. 2 appointments I was told I had but never made it on their schedule, 1 appointment made on a different date than I was told, and prescriptions that never got called until I double checked with them and they realized their error.

Highly recommend this clinic! Dr Crochet was our doctor, he and his team are great & i am currently almost 22 weeks pregnant with our baby girl! Me and my husband moved to the US about 3 years ago, and its kinda weird going through the whole IVF process in another country. But we felt so comfortable from the start, never once did we feel like a number. Communication was also great from start to finish. So happy with all the calls and updates during our IVF cycle, got a response back quickly whenever i left a message. Just a really good experience in general! We’ll definitely be back as we have 6 more frozen embryos.

I am beyond pleased with SGF Clear Lake. Jeanine is a FANTASTIC NP and I couldn’t have done this process without her! And Dr. Crochet is the best doctor you can ask for. I feel blessed that I had the team that I did! Thank you for everything and making my dream come true!!!

Dr. Crochets entire team at SGF totally exceeded all expectations I had being brand new to fertility treatment. I thought it would be a year or at the very least several months to achieve my goal of becoming pregnant. Sitting down with Dr. Crochet started my journey well. He was very easy going and open to answering my 100 questions I had going in, and gave his professional opinion regarding all. His PA Jeanine was also patient when conducting my ultrasounds and answering all questions and or worries I had. Dr. Crochets nurses Brittany, Cara, and Melissa all returned my phone calls within a couple of hours, and were available to answer any questions or concerns I had. Medical Assistant Marissa and phlebotomist Gina were also very welcoming and kind throughout the process.I would highly recommend Dr. Crochets team to any couple looking to expand their family. It is clear that they are all very passionate about what they do. They truly make you feel wanted, not just like some number, and it worked!!! Who would have thought a woman older than 35 would become pregnant on the very 1st IUI having only around a 15 % chance doing so! HUGE KUDOS to all of them!!! Thank you all soooo much for what you do !!! We cant wait to meet our little girl :)

Scheduling here is a nightmare. The doctors are stretched too thin between multiple offices and from all indications have too many patients. The front desk routinely refuses, or is unable to work around our schedule for appointments. On a few occasions we had to email our doctor directly to make arrangements. Just today, which is honestly what possessed me to write this review, the office called and just cancelled an appointment for my wife two days from now through a voicemail. An appointment which she already took off work for (which she had to do because they didnt have any appointments available (too many patients???) earlier or later in the day that would allow for her to come in before or after work). The only reason given was our doctor had a meeting.Trying to get a nurse on the phone is also a huge hassle. They never answer calls to the nurse line, so you are required to leave a message. They always call back, but more often than not will call when I or my wife is unable to answer, which restarts the whole process. You can spend entire days playing phone tag.Interactions with your primary doctor are VERY limited. The vast majority of interactions at this clinic are with nurses (most of whom are fantastic) and an ever revolving door of admins at the front desk.These may seem like minor issues, but coupled with this stress, anxiety, and disappointment that the patients are generally dealing with makes these things a little more frustrating.Having said that, I will admit that Dr. Crochet has been great. He seems to show genuine compassion and is always easy to talk to. With his help we were lucky enough to be blessed with a baby boy. No issues with him as a doctor, we just wish we saw more of him and werent so stressed out trying to work around the clinics overly full schedule.

These people are the reason I have my son! He is now 6! I had to go to a different infertility clinic to conceive my 2nd child due to insurance and I continually compared them to CORM! The other places don’t hold a candle to CORM! I loved everything about being a patient here and I especially love my miracle child! If you want a thorough doctor and personalized care, in a clean and caring facility, go here! I seen Dr. Sims and I loved him! He is dry, but compassionate! I highly recommend. I honestly don’t know why I took so long to write this!

We have had the absolute most amazing experience here!! Dr. Crochet is AMAZING! After just one round of IUI my husband and I have been blessed with a little miracle! We are so thankful for everyone here at the office, and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is trying to conceive! Thank you!!!

Terrible billing. They treat you like a number and not a human being. I will say that their nurse Brooke and Dr Schnell have been exceptional so far from my interaction. They said that with my insurance, routine blood draw will be covered 100% and then they tried to collect $$ for a specialist visit after they took my blood. Terrible service. I did not see the doctor. Why do I need to pay, especially after I had called them 3 times to verify that my visit will be covered 100% since it was just a blood draw. Even when I told the phlebotomists that I need to lay down for blood draws because I’ve fainted in the past (and I’m pregnant and wouldn’t want to fall from their chair) they questioned me and where like oh its just two vials... The staff or their billing telling you one thing when you call to confirm and then want to charge you before you leave their office. Transparency is important.I felt that they just wanted money and could care less about my pregnancy. They know how badly we all want a baby and they take advantage of that fact. Just a number to them.

Janine Price, Gina with Quest, and Dr. Schnell were fabulous! We felt so comfortable from the beginning and ended up feeling like family towards the end! We got pregnant after our second FET with Dr. Schnell and feel so grateful to everyone that helped us at SGF Houston at Clear Lake!

I wanted to recognize not only SFG as a whole but a very special nurse. Ms. Price was such an amazing addition to an already great team in Spring. She provided additional guidance and advise as I was sometimes self conscious about my concerns. I am truly greatful for her knowledge and experience. She made my successful journey that much better.

I feel very safe and taken care of at this facility. We were lucky to get paired with Dr. Schnell, who was very thorough and laid out all out options for us. We were successful on the first try of IUI and every question or concern has always been answered promptly by the nurses and front staff. Their only portal and phone app are also extremely helpful with keeping track of appointments and checking on test results in a timely manner.

Gina, the phebotomist, was effective and painless. Every person I met was friendly and professional.

I would highly recommend CORM to anyone who is seeking infertility assistance. The Webster office staff is very friendly and has always provided A+ customer service. When my husband and I began made the decision to pursue this avenue they made is feel comfortable and answered all questions we had. Any time I called the nurses line I received a call back in a timely fashion. I wouldnt have my son or be expecting twins if it wasnt for Dr. Schnell and the CORM staff.

Doctor Schnell and her team are absolutely amazing. From start to finish, I always felt that I was being heard and cared for. Ill definitely be back when its time to expand my family.

Been back and forth since late 16 and for sure late 18 til now. Its been a long process including 2 iuis before attempting IVF,but today Feb 11,2020 I had the transfer I wished for so hope all goes in our favor! But my Dr Crochet is great, I can speak to him without being who I am and forward like when I 1st met him for my consultation last year. Hes a good listener and great at what he does. Bridget the ultrasound tech, Angelica nurse and Melissa York another nurse, are super great and nice. Theyre always helpful and answers my concerns. I feel in good hands with them and being treated at this facility.Update:I was 4 weeks Feb 25th with my FET, my1st transfer was a success and my baby girl was born October 22nd 2020, healthy and beautiful and very smart! Ready to go back for my 2nd FET. It is so worth every penny and thr pain.

Its a pleasure to have Dr. Crotchet as my doctor at this office, you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. Also Jennifer at the front desk, always got a smile on her face.I would have given this office at least a 4 star but for LISA, one of the nurses - anytime shes on call you should know its gonna be a bad experience that day and she obviously displays uncaring attitude, i dont get how someone like dat get to be a nurse. She provides the most horrible service have ever received in a clinic.Nurse Bety is awesome too and always ready to explain every step and details to patient. Nurse Nicole is another very pleasant.

Center of reproductive of medicine is awesome!! I had Dr. Schnell, she was amazing and her staff was amazing as well. I definitely recommend CORM. Also love that you can call the nurses line anytime of the day and you will get a call within an hour or If they are closed you will get a call the next morning. My husband and I are so thankful for Center of Reproductive Medicine.

I love this clinic! Dr Crochet is so nice and very informative. I have had great experiences with the front desk girls as well and the phlebotomist! All so sweet and accommodating. Very responsive.

This was my first visit at CORM. All the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. The doctor answered all the questions I could think of and was sure to ask more than once if I had other questions. He informed me of a benign fibroid that I was unaware I had but made me feel good about it not being and issue. Hopefully in two weeks, after labs, he will give me more good news to proceed to a healthy pregnancy.

Trying to reach the front desk is a NIGHTMARE. I forgot to ask for their address and I was calling all morning and no one was answering the phone. You cant even access the front desk with a direct number. You have to leave a message and then they will MAYBE get back to you. Super irresponsible! Im going to look into moving to a new clinic. Patients should have access to the front desk. When I finally made it to my appt and told them that Ive been calling all morning, they basically blew me off as if it didnt matter. Im so annoyed!Update: The front desk is still horrible at answering the phone, even with the extension that they have me.My next complaint is about billing. We gave them my husbands insurance before our appt. They forgot to put it in the system and we ended up having to pay $1500. They keeping saying that they are going to put our information in and then send us a check, but needless to say, its been 4 months and still have not given us a check and they wont return our phone calls after leaving countless messages. Billing is terrible as well!!! They need to revamp & fire everyone in the front office and billing.

We got pregnant, sure, but at the cost of 2 hours an appointment. If youre going here, be prepared to wait hours to speak to anyone. Every one of our dozens of appointments here lasted no less than 2 hours. The doctors here are great, some of the best. We would definitely recommend this practice, its just incredibly slow.

The doctors and nurses are amazing , they found the why I got 2 miscarriages and now thanks to them I’m pregnant and everything is gonna ok. I don’t have words to say the thankful I am with the staff, nurse and Dr John Crochet and Dr Sims. Thery are really doctors and they don’t see the patients like a business. All the blessings for that team the God sent to me... the answered all my questions they have patience with me... I have almost 9 weeks thanks to them and all de medicines they sent to me.... Massively unhelpful. Tried calling both local and corporate scheduling lines as a new patient. Local line never answered and never returned voicemails or online request to schedule. Went into the office to attempt to schedule an appointment and the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. A referral was sent by my doctor and the receptionist refused to look for it.

Dr. Schnell is the best Fertility doctor is the Clear Lake/Webster/League City area. I wasted time going to two other doctors before I saw Dr. Schnell. I have no doubt that if it were not for her, I would not have my 16 month old daughter or be pregnant with my baby boy right now! We are forever grateful to Dr. Schnell and the staff at CORM. The billing department ladies are experts at billing and getting your insurance to pay the most possible. I tell everyone I meet to go to CORM.

I loved the doctor, but the staff kept dropping the ball. They dont return messages. Never called to schedule my follow up appointments. Very disappointed. People who go to see them are already struggling with hope, at least return calls to schedule appointments. I should have a credit, maybe they will remember to send me a refund check.

My husband and I are very Blessed, We owe a lot to Dr.Sims. He is a wonderful, professional Doctor. Words cannot describe how grateful our family is. I wish I had more frozen embryos, I would do a frozen transfer in a heartbeat.

Got blood drawn here as a next step to try conceive. I was already pregnant and didnt find out till I took a test the following day. They call me after 3 months charging me for a call the doctor gave me to discuss my results 2 weeks after my blood was drawn. UNBELIEVABLE. Never was I told this would be a fee. I couldve just looked at my results online if I was going to be charged. Ive never heard of such thing. DO NOT COME HERE. Save your time and money. UNEXCEPTABLE.

I dont recommend wasting your time here, All there gonna do is stuff you full of pills and take a million test and never give you the test results. Main doctor is to overworked and scattered brain, That she doesnt even know which patient shes talking to. I will say However that this doctor was able to diagnose my kallmann Syndrome, And i cant wait for the next place I go to, to actually help me get pregnant.

If you plan on having more than 1 child & do not have anyone to watch the first while you plan to go in for the second, find another office. Even though our daughter was conceived with the help of CORM, they would not allow me to bring her to a restart appt. RIDICULOUS. I guess bringing my 8 month pregnant sister is out of the question as well.Maybe a separate waiting room would be a better solution... so those that have a child (after multiple miscarriages, multiple D&C, and other invasive surgeries) wouldn’t feel so shunned.

This place is AMAZING along with all their staff. Dr. Crochet was the best for us during our treatment! I 100% recommend anyone who is looking for an amazing Dr specializing in Fertility treatment!!!
