Everyone in that office is very friendly, professional, and courteous especially Dr. Lo! She is very sweet! I have been going there since I had my first child 12 years ago! I recommend them to all my friends

Dr. Lo is simply the best. You will never find an ob/gyn better than her. Every positive attribute that you like or look for in a doctor, you will undoubtedly find in her...Her office staff is great too. Everyone is kind from the receptionist to the medical assistants. Btw, I travel from Somerset county.

The entire process was fast, easy, and comfortable. The staff was professional and made me feel at ease from start to finish. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a positive and stress-free gynecological visit.

Seriously after a month of experiencing discomfort. The ladies have not properly treated me I’ve had a bump on me, and they didn’t even noticed it. Then they prescribe me medication and didn’t give me the proper direction on how to take it.. so it messed my period up more. I’ve left several messages and they did nothing but ignored me.Please do your job and read your message !!

I love this practice, everyone is friendly and every doctor I have seen here, pretty much all of them, are amazing!! I’ve been a patient here for almost 15years. I’ve even moved and continue to come here even though it’s 40 minutes from home!!Another bonus is that they are always timely, they keep to your appointment time!! Can’t say that about many other offices!!

Rescheduling NIGHTMARE!!! I was referred to Axia - Women’s First Health Center by a close friend, who had nothing but good things to say about the doctors at Axia. I initially made my appointment in January, and was forced to reschedule 4 times!I completely understood the initial reason for rescheduling (there was a death in the doctor’s family). The subsequent times, the doctor had emergencies, and was forced to cancel all appointments. Again, understandable. What I could not understand was why appointments were automatically rescheduled without proper communication. Forcing me to call back and reschedule after receiving text messages of an appointment change.In the most recent rescheduling debacle, I left work early only to arrive and be told I did NOT have an appointment. The office claimed to have called, but I did not have a message. Instead, I had a text message that confirmed I had an appointment. Rather than profusely apologizing for the inconvenience, I was told to call back in May to reschedule for a June appointment.It is not my norm to leave google reviews, but the whole experience was absolutely unprofessional. Do NOT recommend!!!

They took their time and asked follow up questions. Great bedside manner and follow up medical care.

In addition to being a superior physician, Dr. Lo is warm and compassionate. She provides ample time for questions and concerns. 10 out of 10!

I really like Women’s First Health. The receptionists are welcoming. The assistants are warm and friendly.Dr. Lo makes me feel relaxed. She lets you know what you should be doing to take care of your health(self breast exam,exercising,test you should have etc.). She listens, she’s thorough and she doesn’t rush through the exam.I went in today(April 13,2022) for my annual exam. After the exam I spoke to Dr. Lo about an issue I was having. She was comforting. She took the time to listen and gave positive feedback. Dr. Lo you made me feel so much better. Dr. Lo you are awesome! You Rock! Thank you so much…💕Today June 18th had my annual appointment with Dr. Lo. Dr. Lo is so attentive and very empathetic. She is a very caring doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Sylvester for almost two decades now and I’ve always felt very well taken care of. She is a compassionate doctor who listens well. The entire staff at Women First is top notch and I have recommended them to numerous people over the years and will continue to do so.

I arrived very early for my 10:20am appointment today. The staff were all so friendly and I enjoyed their positive morning energy. Dr. Sylvester is very kind and professional. Any questions or concerns you may have, she answers fully and in detail which is easy to understand. Kudos to everyone there!!

Dr. Sylvester and Dr. Lo are THE absolute best! They each delivered 2 out of 3 of my kids. Both doctors are extremely attentive and caring. The office is very clean and the nurses and staff are so so sweet. Knowing the doctor who actually delivers your baby is a huge plus in my book, it’s rare these days from the stories I hear.

We recently moved and I needed a new OB GYN. Dr. Sylvester is incredible- just awesome. The staff is friendly, the offices are clean, and the admin stuff was all easy to fill out. I really appreciate the holistic thinking. I felt so comfortable. Highly recommend.

I’ve been with this practice for years and I’ve have nothing but great things to say. They provide exceptional service and care. I delivered twins back in 2020 and they took amazing care of me throughout the entire experience. I delivered early and unexpectedly so Dr. Lo and Dr. Megalla didn’t have the opportunity to be there that night, but the Dr. who oversaw my delivery mentioned that they were his students at some point in their journey which was a reassuring feeling and pretty full circle :-) Dr. Lo stopped by my room the very next morning to check in on me once she got word I had delivered. She was great and so have all the Doctors at this practice through the years. Dr. Megalla has been my primary there for a few years now and is great. Very attentive and takes the time to sit with his patients to check in before each exam/visit, which is a great touch to the support they provide. I’m always seen on time and the office staff is soooo friendly and welcoming. Again, nothing but great things to say and so happy I found them years ago. I highly recommend this practice!

I have always had a nice experience here, I have never waited long, the receptionists are friendly and attentive. The nurses are so nice and comforting. Dr. Lo is so nice and professional. She’s understanding and patient, she makes me feel at ease. I feel like I can talk to her about anything, she gives solid advice, has great bedside manner and I truly feel that she cares about my overall health and wellness. I greatly appreciate her knowledge and time. The overall experience from check in to check out is a very pleasant one.

Dr. Lo is amazing!!! I recommend her to every woman i know. She’s very down to earth and understanding. I feel like I’m talking to my own mother when i speak with her. The other doctors are also great, I’ve seen them all when having my daughter. I can’t recommend this practice enough.

Office was friendly and efficient. They explained everything regarding forms. The time I waited for my annual was short. Dr. Lo explained everything as she performed the annual; which made me feel comfortable. We discussed things and she listened. She gave me information on certain topics that we discussed. Overall, my experience with Dr. Lo and the office has been great!

Both Dr. Sylvester and Dr. Lo are the greatest physicians! I’ve been seeing either one for yearssss now and my visits are always quick, painless, and personable. The nurses are great too! Always so cheerful and personable as well. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The front staff and medical assistants are friendly and efficient. Wait time in the waiting room and inside the examining room were minimal. Dr Lo is very knowledgeable and kind. She walked me through every step of an in-office procedure and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Would definitely recommend Dr Lo and her staff, as well as the facility location.

I have been a patient of Dr Lo’s for over 18 years. She is top-notch. She is smart, well-respected, thorough, patient, and very accessible. She delivered my 4th child at a difficult time in my life and made extra time for me at post-partum visits… and always followed up with me. Dr. Lo has been my gynecologist for many years. She is the kindest doctor and shows much care to her patients. Dr. Lo never dismisses any concerns and never makes you feel rushed. I’ve been a patient of dr. Sylvester over 16 years and have never had a bad experience here. The staff is very helpful and kind. The office is clean and efficient. The care received is top notch! I have visited with 3 out of the 4 doctors that work at Axia Women’s health and I have loved every one of them. They all make you feel warm and welcome and take the time to answer any questions you have with clear helpful responses.

After 15 years with the same OB/GYN in NYC, I was reluctant to find a new person closer to home. This was first visit but I have to say I was really impressed with everyone, especially Dr. Lo and the nurse who assisted her. They spent equal time with me ensuring all questions were asked and a thorough medical history was obtained. They were compassionate and very thorough in the description of every procedure. Wonderful first impression of the office staff at the front desk as well.

The nurse performs excellent work and is very friendly. The doctor I see is a loving person. I take time to explain what I have and how the process works. Everyone at the clinic does good work.

The most important thing to me for choosing a doctor is that they provide time for me to ask questions and truly listen. Dr Lo is just that type of doctor! Very excited to continue my OB journey with this practice!

I’ve never had any issues with the doctors or staff. Waiting room time is always quick. And the assistants are wonderful. I have difficult veins and the woman was able to get my blood in one shot (I did phlebotomy so I always appreciate a good phlebotomist!) Dr. Megalla is amazing. I was nervous at first about having a male Gynecologist, but the nerves quickly subsided with his professionalism. Any questions I had he answered clearly , and he just has a friendly presence. :)

The doctors are wonderful. I’ve known one of them for over 10 years. Again the doctors are amazing, knowledgeable, kind people.However the one staff person is rude, defensive, and not a reflection of how nice and professional the doctors are, fortunately. The nurse became defensive and rude about a procedure that I had in the pass. How is she asking me “why” I get that done? What? 🤦🏾‍♀️Awesome way to start the week. 🙄😑😑

Dr. Lo was really great. It was my first visit and I needed my annual. Everyone from the front desk staff to Dr. Lo was very professional nice snd helpful. I’m happy to have finally found my obgyn for when I eventually get pregnant ! As many women know, it’s hard to find someone your are comfortable with who is also very knowledgeable and tenured in their field. Dr. Lo has 15++ years of experience and was very easy to open up to. I highly recommend. Also I found their questionnaires to be more thorough than others which I appreciated. They also have text reminders as an option for test results which is a great option to offer patients.

I have been going to this group for many, many years. I absolutely love Dr. Sylvester. She is kind, compassionate and truly cares about you as a person and as a patient. This is a great group of doctors! Dr. Lo, Dr. Meghalla and Dr. Sylvester are all wonderful and have taken such good care of me during my first and now second pregnancy. Absolutely love Dr. Lo (I get advice from her about life not just from her current profession). Dr DeSantos delivered my baby girl 3 years ago (no longer at this office) while Dr. Sylvester held my hands during my C Section. These women and their staff are great to me (knowledgeable, down to earth, caring). I would recommend to any woman.

For whatever reason every time I go Im seen by a different doctor and can never get an appointment with the one doctor that I like Last time I was there the woman sitting at the desk was so unprofessional I should have left right then and there. One particular doctor rushes through appointments and gets very annoyed when you ask questions. She doesnt crack a smile once during the whole appointment and has zero compassion for things that a patient may be sensitive about/need advice about. Each time Ive been there I have been given the impression that Im bothering them. Thankful Im moving out of the area soon and wont have to deal with this practice much longer.

I love Dr. Megalla. He takes the time to explain your condition thoroughly. Therefore, I’m not stressed out about my appointments.The staff is very polite and the facility is very clean. I refer my close friends to this center.

Absolutely love this practice. I switched to WFHC after attending an office in Montclair that would leave me waiting for hours, not return phone calls and always has a very rude staff. WFHC is the complete opposite! The staff is always pleasant and actually take the time to get to know you. Dr Sylvester has the best bedside manner of any doctor I’ve ever been to. She’s sweet, smart and takes the time to address questions or concerns - which were quite a few being that this is my first baby. She just delivered my son 2 days ago, in an unplanned C section and she made sure to do everything possible before taking that approach and to make me feel comfortable. Absolutely love her and would recommend to any new mom.

I like the fact that the wait period is literally less than 5 minutes always. Which is why i drive all the way from 20 miles away. Have been seeing them for the last 11 years now!!! Compassionate, professional and knowledgeable set of doctors overall. 👏 Definitely recommend.

The prenatal care was outstanding, they are so understanding and willing to let you have the birthing experience you want! Choosing this group was one of the best choices I have ever made.

Such a wonderful experience! I called with an emergency knowing full well I may have to wait Bc so many people are making appointments now that it is post Covid and more people are venturing out. Had a little trouble navigating the patient portal as a first time patient, however receptionist Dawn and rest of office staff were very helpful.Dr. Megalla was highly professional and kind, answering all my questions and taking plenty of time. I felt comfortable and never rushed.

Go elsewhere! I sit here writing this today after learning in a voicemail that my early pregnancy was no longer alive. 6 times throughout the voicemail they let me know that I could not call back. There is no one to answer phones on Friday, no one to answer my questions on Monday but I might be able to get some information on Tuesday, a full 5 days after learning that the baby had died. This is not the type of treatment any patient should receive. Save yourself the tears and go to an office that treats patients like humans.

I generally am pleased with my experience here! I found that doctors Sansobrino and Sylvester were the ones that took their time and answered all my questions in a calm and relaxed manner- as a first time expecting mom i had a lot of them! I liked that this office had an 80% natural delivery rate, as compared to almost 50% at other places! It was relatively easy to get appointments even at short notice. The waiting time in the office was seldom more than 5 minutes to get called in and not much more in the exam room either. The reason Im not giving this 5 stars is that I did not like Dr Youngren and Dr Lo at all! I felt like they both rushed through the session and got irritated when I asked them for more information or to repeat something already mentioned. All in all a great place if you go to Dr Sansobrino or Dr Sylvester!

I am so grateful for Womens First Health Center! I had my first two pregnancy visits with a different OBGYN group - but had such a terrible experience that I switched over to WFHC at my 11-12 week mark. I am so happy I did. Heres some reasons why I give them 5 stars...1) I never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen at their office in West Orange. They were always on schedule.2) Late appt times and Early appt times available. I work full time and the flexibility in appointment times was crucial.3) While pregnant I used the WFHC emergency line (I had food poisoning while pregnant) and nursing message line - everytime I receiving a timely and helpful response from the MDs or RNs.4) They supported our desire for a natural birthing plan.5) They never incited worry/fear about my pregnancy (the OBGYN that I went to for my first two visits DID create alot of fear and concern during the first two visits - it was terrible). Yes it was a normal pregnancy, but never did I leave there offices concerned about how I was doing or the baby.6) They took the time to answer all my questions at each visit.During the labor and delivery process:1) The St. Barnabas OBGYN residents were very eager to treat me ASAP with multiple interventions/medications right as I walked in the door. I could feel their must do something eagerness. It overwhelmed my husband and I - and it felt as though our birthing plan was being thrown out the window. But Dr. Lo and Dr. Sylvester calmed us both and talked us thru the process, which included our birthing plan and input. They offered us several options for treatment (induction methods, as my water broke at home and I needed to deliver within a specific time frame to reduce the chance of infection). It allowed us to feel empowered in the decision making process.2) Dr. Sylvester was the delivering MD for us, she was wonderful! Calming, positive, kind, knowledgable - my husband and I agree that she was the best staff we encountered during the entire birthing experience/hospital stay (considering MDs, residents and RNs).3) Although the labor and delivery did not go exactly how we had planned - it was a great experience.I would definitely recommend this practice to others! And if we have another child in the future - I will hope and pray to have Dr. Sylvester with us again in the delivery room! (although I bet the others MDs are just as good - we just had such a great experience with her)

Well this was my first time scheduling an appointment to go there. I called the office because for some reason I went to the wrong location which was only 5 minutes away. My appointment was at 11:30 a.m. and I arrived at 11:40 a.m. I called and told them I was on my way. As soon as I got there I could feel the high tension which the receptionist Natasha said, Im sorry because you dont have your paper fill out and the doctor has a procedure which she can not see you. They immediately turn me down before I could even complete the forms or was it that Im a black women! The receptionist showed no concerned or care. No thanks, I will not be coming back! I was ask to come back the next day not even later or do you need to be seen immediately. I should of look at all the other reviews prior I scheduled an appointment

This was my second visit, the visit was great. The wait was not long. Everything organized and safe. Doctor Morris was kind, informative and helpful. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I actually followed my Ob/Gyn to this office when she relocated. They are very attentive and caring! I love that they make sure all my questions are answered and they always make sure Im okay.

I just called to make an appointment and since the appointment date was too far out, I decided to call back instead. The receptionist was rude and simply hanged up on me. Please correct employees who act this way. I am very respectful and I think employees should also be respectful as well.

I went to my first ultrasound appointment excited, nervous, terrified and thrilled. The first thing the office hands you is a form to let you know that you are NOT to ask questions during this visit. This visit has a purpose which is mainly to determine if the pregnancy is ectopic, so basically anything you have to ask now is irrelevant. They repeat that you are NOT to ask questions for this visit 3 more times (requiring a signature). What is the point of having a Gyno who you can not ask questions to? What is the point of the intimidating form?

These guys are awesome- each one of them. I used to be a rep for obgyns and out of all the offices I called on I chose this one to attend myself.They are all so caring and knowledgable. Truly wonderful people and Doctors!

My first visit...Courteous staff, my doctor was thorough and he explains to me what he was doing as he goes along. Environment was also clean and welcoming.

Kind of late in writing the review but my second pregnancy and the birth of my second child has brought back the most painful memories that I experienced with the insensitive doctors at womens first health care... my due date was 30th March but in their files it was 4th April which I was unaware of earlier... during the last two weeks going by the due date in their files everything seemed fine to them ... but when I corrected them of the due date , all of a sudden thought of induction came to their mind and Dr Sonia asked us to schedule for an induction before 41 weeks ... first time pregnant and not researching much on induction and trusting my doctors completely I agreed to it ... just on the day of induction I received a call saying it has to be postponed by four days and reason was doctor is not available ( I guess it would have been hard for them to justify my induction before 41 weeks) .... everything was fine with me and my baby and I should have been given the chance to go till 42 weeks and experience the natural contractions... I wanted not to show up but my family members trust doctors words more than the reality ... I showed up on Sunday night and was induced and in the morning when the balloon fell off and I was dialeted by 5 cms And was given pitocin ... one of the residents persuaded me to take the epidural with the pitocin saying that with pitocin the contractions would be unbearable... so I should be taking epidural and it would help me save my energy to push the baby out later as for them it seemed my labor would be prolonged ... again not being in the right state of mind I was saying yes to everything that they asked me to do ... because the epidural was taken very early on even without feeling the contractions my dilation was halted .. 7-8 hrs passed by and no dilation and one of the nurses came in and asked my pain level and I said its bearable but she asked me 10 times to get another anaesthesia as it will save my energy to push ... after being told 10 times I beloved her and took it and had chill running my body immediately and I started gagging and had an infection which was transmitted to my baby and they had to do the c section...c section was performed by one of the most unprofessional doctors in their group Dr Vivian ... she did the c section like an immature and stitched it like a child draws a straight line ... and the scar was inch long ... I realized this that the c section done by Dr Vivian was not right after seeing the stitches of rge csection this time ... this facility is quite corrupt when one goes over due ... they try to push the mothers to go for c sections
