We love NextCare because they almost always get you in right away and are efficient, skilled, and reasonably priced. They value your time, and treat you with dignity (which is rare these days). The staff is professional, very kind and welcoming, and not insane about Covid restrictions --like Patient First and other minute clinics that treat you disdainfully like youre cattle.We especially like Dr Shannon Lopez who has a wonderful bedside manner and truly wants to see people get well instead of loading you up with a bunch of pharmaceuticals you dont need. Highly recommend NextCare Clinic on Hoadly Road!

Bought my son here for an urgent issue and went home happy with everyone at this office. The receptionist was very helpful and courteous. The check in was a breeze. The medical assistant I think his name is Jose was amazing! Please give him a raise. Dr. Kaneez Fatema is kind, knowledgeable and very thorough. With no reservations, I recommend this urgent care

I took my daughter here yesterday and I’ve took her plenty of times before. The doctor Literally did a swab test on my daughter and my daughter was scared and she told her it was just going to tickle and it had made her gag right a at and of course any kid is going to back up so I help hold her so she would be calm for her to keep shoving it down her throat to hard my daughter was crying hysterically. My heart hurts so bad cause right before I was trying to calm her down and I told her she would be safe cause I would be by her side. Nor did she prescribe anything to help my daughter extreme sore throat and coughing. She only gave her a mouth wash for thrush. I wasted money and my daughter is traumatized. And I feel horrible as a mother to allow some doctor to do this. This doctor needs to be fired right away I would not take any of your children to this place. They don’t care for kids at all here when they are scared they just make it worse😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤣

For the second time in a row, arrived at 0830 to find a closed building. No lights, no one inside, no note on the door, despite the hours posted on the door clearly indicating that they open at 8:00 a.m. The few times we have received care, the billing has been suspect, the treatment was incomplete, and we ended up finishing our care somewhere else. This urgent care is the embodiment of maybe. Maybe theyll be open, maybe they wont. Maybe youll get the care you need, maybe you wont. Maybe youll be frustrated, maybe you wont. For us, this is the last straw. The last thing I need when some one of us is sick is to try and figure out how to get the urgent care to provide the care we need. Well just go somewhere else thats more of a sure thing. Unless youre willing to roll the dice, I recommend you do the same.

Can I tell you how amazing the crew is at this location. I arrived home from work and my elderly mother sounded horrible. I thought the location closed at 9pm but I realized I was wrong as I pulled the handle to the clinic door at 756pm. The young woman at the front desk (Sydney) didnt bat an eye that the clinic closed at 8pm. She didnt grumble or complain; all she wanted to do was provide excellent service and care for a sick patient. From there we met Takarra who contined the service with care, compassion and a twinge of sass (my mother loved her). We were finally seen by Shannon who was professional, kind, empathetic and thorough. She explained everything and even thought about the fact that the pharmacy may close before we could get a prescription tonight and provided a contingency plan. I can not say enough about this team. I appreciate them and how they cared for my mother. They are a dynamic trio and it was evident that they are in this profession for the right reasons and we truly appreciated them.

I had been feeling flu like symptoms for a couple of days. Until the discomfort overcame me, I decided to make an appointment with Urgent Care on Hoadly. It is right across the street from our subdivision. It was very easy to schedule and verify Tricare insurance. Once I arrived that evening, everyone from the front desk to vitals, and their PA, Shannon Lopez were absolutely wonderful, kind and compassionate. It was my first time using Urgent Care and I am impressed. Thank you for your outstanding customer care in such a time of healthcare professional shortages! I would 100% recommend this office.

The most disgusting clinic in town. If I knew I wouldn’t have come here. It’s called urgent care but when you enter it looks spa. Because nurses and practitioners are giggling out there while I’m waiting in room for past 1 hour attempted 3 times to remind them while waiting for the doc to come. Last attempt was funny. They don’t know who will come to check, then we found out who will. Next thing the person is missing, either bathroom, either checking someone else’s. The clinic ends before starting and they don’t know where the doc is.I’m adding a new logo for your urgent care below.

Walk-in. Pleasant staff throughout.IT services down time was announced by receptionist with 1-hr delay. However, staff resume services after 20-30 min by paper. However, as a patient, I didnt notice any slow down or challenges.

I went in for possible eczema outbreak , the receptionist was great the nurse was great , once I got to the room the doctor came in stood feet away as if she was sceard to come near me, as I’m telling her that I’m breaking out and it’s uncomfortable she made suggestions on what she thought was the cause of the breakout on my face and neck proceeded to tell me that she would send cream for my face and neck , I asked what I should do about the itching she said she would also send a 5 day steroid to the pharmacy along with writing a referral for me to see a dermatologist, I went to the pharmacy one prescription cream wasn’t covered by my insurance, another was on on hold the steroid was never sent over and I never received my referral that she said she would give me to see a dermatologist she was in the room no more than 3 min. Worst experience by Dr.Fatima since I’ve been going to Nezt Care .

We received particularly attentive care on a recent visit for my teenager from physician assistant Takara. She took extra time to understand my child’s health concern, including the impact of other chronic conditions. On hearing that my child is LGBTQ, she took time to make appropriate notes in the record, including my child’s preferred name. She performed the necessary tests with ease and little discomfort to my child. My child commented on her attentive level of care. We appreciated her skill and compassionate attention. Takara is a real asset at NextCare!

My wife came here to deal with an issue that required prescription medication. Please help us understand what the point of going to your facility only to be told we dont have any providers here today, and then refer my wife to a virtual provider out of state? She could have easily done that from home. On top of that, after her virtual visit, the provider she saw sent a prescription that never made it to the pharmacy. Long story short, she gets charged the copay for the visit, yet gets no prescription for something that is causing her significant discomfort. She requested a refund for her copay, but now THATs an issue because shes getting the runaround from the various departments of your company - disgraceful. We shall not return - get it together, we pay you money for a service, and when we dont get what we pay for, we should get our money back. Since your staff wants to play hot potato with refunding the copay, we will be filing complaints with the BBB to rectify this situation immediately.

Today, I have scheduled appointments for myself and my two children. Our time was 5:40 pm, 6:00 pm, and 6:20 me. We arrived on time and asked them to check-in. Only then did they say that the dr. was not in and we would assist you, but your visit would be virtual. Then I asked why you did not call me earlier and let me know whether I would like to keep our appointments; only then did he say (there was a lady also present) that he was sorry. I told him to cancel our appointments, and he said he did. This is an entirely unprofessional and a bate-and-switch tactic. I lost valuable time. I would have chosen another place/company if I had known earlier. If the company cares about its business, it will take corrective measures.

Was feeling under the weather and hate going to the doctors office. But after three days of no relief I decided to go to Urgent Care. I went in with no appointment and was greeted promptly, the receptionist helped me with the online check-in. I did not have to wait very long to be taken back and be seen by a very caring young doctor. She took the time to listen to my concerns and how I was feeling. She checked everything over and sent over the prescriptions that I needed.To be honest, I cannot understand why there are so many negative reviews on this location. I had an excellent experience from beginning to end!! Thank you to the entire staff.

I can’t describe how disappointed I am. I came in to this location Monday to be seen and was told my prescription for antibiotics would be sent to the pharmacy. However, I’ve been to the pharmacy twice this week and never received the prescription. I called for 15 minutes and all of my calls went straight to voicemail and I am stuck suffering until I can get back to figure out what’s up with my script! I’m not even from this area either so it is an EXTREME inconvenience.

I am writing this as I sit in the waiting room, where I have been for over an hour despite having an appointment and despite there not being many patients waiting. This is the second and last time I will be here - had the same experience the first time around. How is this place still in business?! What a joke. Avoid like the plague if you need “urgent” care.Updating my review after leaving the office: I was charged $180 by mistake; they thought I was someone else. Then the doctor calls me to say I was prescribed an antibiotic that I’m allergic to - which was in my record. Never going back.

This Urgent Care facility is a winner. Khadija checked me in with a friendly face- I appreciate her excellent communication skills and helpfulness in answering my questions. Stefania was the MA who helped with my visit and she did a stellar job- I had to get a flu vaccine and she made the process quick and I hardly felt the shot at all! Horrible. Went to get a prescription filled for my medication since my appointment with a new pcp is not until the end of the month and they would not send out a prescription. Not until I got to the back to see the doctor or whoever was I told that they “don’t write prescriptions” and that “they should’ve told me out front”. I encountered TWO people before the doctor that should’ve been aware of this information. Not to mention I was charged a copay on top of that and they did nothing to help.

I was told the phone number listed goes to a “call center.” I needed to follow up on a prescription that was sent to my pharmacy. After 20 minutes of ringing and that occasional “your call is important to us” message, no one answered the phone. Apparently my call wasn’t that important. I had to drive back to the clinic to straighten things out. I think they need to remind their call center to pickup the damn phone.

I would like to share you all because it’s a painful experience for me. Last three days I went there with my wife. She has fever and body pain symptoms since last three days. First day they notice , they are not taking COVID test for that day. But next day they will continue. Again next morning I went there at 7.30 am . Out was too cold and windy. I was back after 10 -12 people. Suddenly all people left . I went to door and saw same notice as yesterday.I called office, they kept me holding longtime. Then line disconnected. Again I come today morning 8 am . same notice they will continue to COVID test tomorrow. Is this service of urgent care?? I won’t give them any star . I absolutely hate this location , I try not to go here unless I’m too weak to drive further . Given this is the closest to me. You can’t call to make an appointment everything is online which is fine Until it tells you come in 10 min early . My appointment was at 12pm I came in at 11:55. Looked at who was ahead of me , appointments online are suppose to be first . I had one person ahead of me that did it online . Someone who was a walk in went first before me . I waited almost 2 hours just to see the doctor . 1:44 is when I saw the doctor just to talk for 30 sec and leave . Why make an appointment online when you have to wait hours to be seen anyways . They need more doctors in here or staff cause this is insane . If a location is a busy location why have just one doctor and nurse . Make it make sense

The staff, starting with the receptionist was very friendly and thoughtful. The aid was overwhelmed because she was the only person doing triage but she was still friendly and I appreciate her time and effort during my visit. The RNP was friendly, knowledgeable and make me feel comfortable.Even though I waited for 1.5 hour. Wait time was too long even only 3 patients were there. Doctor was just sitting in her office and was not attending any of the patients.We checked in at 5:30pm for my son ear infection and was called in for vitals at 6:30 and then finally after a lot reminder doc showed up at 7:30 pm. There was a pin drop silent in the clinic. Three patients were in three rooms and doc was sitting in her room.Apparently she was working on charts but the wait time was too long even with few patients.I hope I don’t have to go back in there. Everyone take good care of your health.

Especially after having to wait for her for almost 45 min and didnt have many patients, she couldve gave us better service. When I had questions she opened the door and started walking out. However. I checked in online which was fine, the wait was very short, there are a lot of paper notices at the front door and at the front desk and it’s too much to read. The nurse was great, the doctor was great however it took 6 hrs for my script to get sent to the pharmacy. Next time I’ll have to make sure I have my paper prescription in hand just in case.

Made an appointment online for my daughter’s sports physical. Got there at our appointment time and was told there were 2 walk-ins ahead of us. And because we arrive after our 15 minute window they’re now ahead of us. Sat in the lobby for 25 minutes and then sat in the room for 10 minutes. Not bad compared to others reviews, but wish I was told to arrive earlier (before the 15 min window). However, the Staff was very friendly, easy to talk to and facility was very clean. I would make an early morning appointment if you can :)

Pleasant experience here on a Sunday morning! Receptionist and nurse were very polite, professional, and kind. Doctor was amazing- talked me through everything and was very personable and polite. The guy at the counter admitted that.The nurse is arrogant.The way she treated me is unprofessional and stupid.Despite the unpleasant experience from the nurse, I was pleased by the Doctors handling. Outstanding customer service from the NextCare clinic at Milstead Way Woodbridge, Virginia. From the front office to the back office.Great 5-star hotel quality welcome, not typical at most clinic. I absolutely love the spacious office space, clean floors and walls.Wait time for me was moderately long, but with the view to the sunny outdoors and beautiful landscape outside, I am not complaining at all. And yes, more importantly, great staff and service from the care team. I was well cared for today by three professional staffs: Ms. Shantal, Nurse Stesania, and Dr. Fatema. Walked in. They were closed so we made appointment for following morning. Waited 2 hours past appointment time for a room where my sister waited 30 minutes longer to see a nurse practitioner not a doctor. Staff was nice but waiting so long in a room full of coughing people was frightening since she has asthma.The receptionist was telling patients with or without appointments to drive 50 (yes 50) miles away to another Nextcare that had no wait times! Wait time estimates were 2 to 5 hours on a Monday!They need more doctors!

This place is going down hill. My family of 7 has been coming here for years. Always made an appointment before going. Average wait with an appointment was around 15 minutes. Now, the wait with an appointment is at least an hour. Our most recent visit, there was only 1 other patient in the office ahead of us. We still waited an hour to be seen. Last visit, we showed up 15 minutes early and still waited 90 minutes to be seen. On top of that, they screwed up the prescription to Walgreens and we wound up going back and forth as they both accused the other for the issue. Not only did we waste half-a-day but never got our prescription. A total waste of time!!!!

We waited three hours for a sports physical. We went here on recommendation from a friend that said they were very fast and never had many patients, plus the good price for a sports physical was hard to beat. When we left our house the website said that there was only one other patient at the facility. By the time we finished filing out our paperwork, there were zero patients ahead of us, supposedly. Three hours later we were finally seen, after we let the front desk person know that we were going to have to leave and reschedule due to a prior engagement. Suddenly, there was a mad dash to accommodate us. It took the doctor 4 minutes to perform the sports physical, after it took her nurse less than 10 minutes to do the full intake. What I have since discovered, and seriously dislike about this place, is that a patient can select a time up to 24 hours in advance to be seen. In theory, that sounds like a great idea. In practice, it means that an extremely simple exam that took less than 5 minutes of the doctors time was continually pushed back until the breaking point (a patient needing to leave) after 3 hours. If this is the business model then there should be two doctors on each shift, one for scheduled visits, one for walk ins. I wish it was more clearly advertised that patients who take the tiny bit of effort to schedule on the website are prioritized over walk ins. Although, with it being an urgent care center, that seems kinda backwards. If I EVER do have to go here again, I will be sure to schedule my visit before heading over. However, it is much more likely that I will use Patient First, as I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes from check-in to be seen. I will say however, the front desk person was very nice and was obviously a competent and caring employee. Its just the business model that is confounding at best.

Very thoughtful staff. If you have a child that is disabled and needs care, a quiet environment, extra time, or different considerations this is a great place. I did not have to constantly keep reminding anyone that my child was disabled like Ive had to at other medical centers. The entire staff who saw him were so understanding and very kind, they took extra time to make sure he wasnt too uncomfortable being examined.

I went to Nextcare in Dumfries and they were booked this evening and offered me a next day appointment. When I asked for another option the front desk coordinator referred me to the Woodbridge location and was kind enough to make the appointment for me that was available 30 min later.I made it to Woodbridge and the front desk coordinator was equally kind and was able to check me in right away. We waited an hour to be seen but it was to be expected. The Nurse practitioner and the medical assistant were kind and attentive to my sick child and very reassuring to both myself and my child.I would recommend both locations even though I wasn’t seen at Dumfries. My daughter was there a day before (+antibiotics, cough medicine). Next day my appointment at 12, I’ve waited the 2 hour wait for scheduled appointment, with a pat on the back saying go home you are fine ( no suggestion of salt rinse for sore throat, no medication for cough, or headache, lack of sleep due to symptoms , nothing). I wont be returning to this NextCare location. The provider barely spoke English and was very difficult to understand. When she placed the stethoscope up against my back, she just said bleed....bleed...bleed! It took me a few tries to realize she wanted me to breathe...maybe take a deep breath could have been more appropriate? She had no bedside manner, didnt discuss any treatment options, didnt discuss what to do if my symptoms got worse, didnt ask if I had any questions, and made me feel like my presence there was just keeping her from something more important--despite my $50 copay.

I really enjoyed the organization and cleanliness. Their service was so expedited I felt as If something was missed but nothing was. I gave only 4 stars due to my experience with the care giver. I felt there was a bit of communication breakdown. The Nurse Practitioner at timeslacked acknowledgement. At times I felt I wasnt being heard. I still received adequate care so I basically placed that discomfort on that her native language or communication style may be different than mine. My visit was 10/31/2021. Thankfully my issue was resolved enough to secure a apt with my primary care. Overall I recommend this facility. I do want to make note that I scheduled my visit the evening prior to and I completed all of the required paperwork via online before arrival.

SEVERELY LACKS PROFESSIONALISM AND HEALTHCARE ETIQUETTE. I gave a second opportunity thinking it was just that day. From the front desk receptionist laying across the desk watching movies on her phone with 4 to 5 patients along with their family sitting in the lobby to the physician coming out full fledged with her hand down her pants scratching herself. Bro, we all get an itch, however, if you have to go that deep for it do it behind closed doors. Also, forget the convenience of online paperwork and appointments, their system was down the first time and this time so I had to wait 1 hour past my convenient online appt time in addition to filling out paperwork. Happening once is understandable twice deems repetitive. Ive never been to a third world country but being here made me feel it was as close as I could get without having to fly! Regardless of where I go my moto is if the front presentation is bad then the back is worse. No thanks, Beware....... 4.3 stars is untrue! And my one was required to review. Otherwise without hesitation it would be in the negative.

If you don’t have an appointment, your wait time can be a couple of hours, however the staff was amazing, friendly and professional. When I met with the nurse and doctor, everyone was nice and patient with me. I really appreciated them helping with an emergency I was having. I appreciate you guys. There is quite a bit of confusion around getting an appointment. The web says they offers walk-ins and currently they dont. If you dont book ahead online, you must arrive by 8am, complete paperwork on your phone, and sit in your car until you receive a text message to come to the waiting room.Also, the receptionist is not the friendliest and doesnt offer ample information.That said, the people working directly with patients are extremely personable, very helpful and impressively knowledgeable. The information they gave was completely worth the wait.

Walk in was pretty efficient. Was in and out within an hour. Only negative thing that I experienced was my meds were sent to the wrong pharmacy and when I tried to contact the office , I stayed on hold for 22 minutes before someone answered from the call center. The young lady sent a message to inform the office of the error and advised me to wait for some time to contact the correct pharmacy. I waited two hours before reaching out to my pharmacy and they had no record of it. I had to drive 25 minutes out to pick up my meds. I know that may not seem like alot, but when your head feels like its about to explode and your equilibrium is off, it seems like a lifetime. Other than that, the service and treatment team were great.

Staff is super friendly and fast. You wait in your car and they call for checkin screening. It’s nice so the waiting room isn’t crowded when you go in.People that complain about waiting time must have never experienced an urgent care or emergency room before. If you don’t want a wait go to a primary care doctor. This is an urgent care for a reason… they may have to see some else over your that is more urgent.Definitely recommend!

I took my son here for a school physical. The entire process was smooth: making the appt, check-in, clean facility and all of the staff was very pleasant. However, this location was super busy and there was only ONE medical professional working that day. Despite having made an appointment (which apparently doesn’t give any priority over those who just walk in), we had to wait 2 hours for our turn. If you’re making an appointment for something non-urgent, try to go early in the morning, otherwise you’re probably in for a looong wait.

They tell you to reserve a time to be seen only to have to 30 minutes to an hour to be sent to a triage station. Then when they send you to a room; you end up having to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for the doctor to come into your.Then the doctor sees you for a matter of 4-6 minutes. She will do her job either pretty fast and efficient or tell you go see your primary care doctor because I can’t help you. Then they tell you to wait for your discharge papers in the waiting room which could take another 15-20 minutes.So you will be in here for a solid 2-4.5 hours depending on the time you come which is no different than going to the emergency room.It’s really not that great of an urgent care; but I go here out of convenience because it’s so close to my home. So ehh.

Two stars b/c of past pleasant experiences Ive had that have made NextCare a regular option for my familys pseudo-emergency needs; HOWEVER, on this occasion my husband took our daughter for a sports physical that was scheduled for 6:40 pm. He went an hour early to see if they could be taken as a walk-in. Before he left out home, the website said there were 0 patients ahead of him. We live about 7 mins away. When he arrived there was no one waiting...just like the site said (👌🏾), but another patient arrived at the same time. He went and asked if they were taking walk-ins, and was told No. He advised the front desk person they had an appointment but was trying to see if they could be seen earlier. To which she said, Why didnt you lead with that? You can fill out these forms. He said that he was there for a sports physical. There was some back and forth about who should have the physical form. At the same time, a remote person reached out to ME to confirm the registration details I had already filled in online. The phn person told me that my daughter would need the physical form and that the front desk person should be able to provide one for my husband. My husband (who called me) relayed all this back to the front desk person...who went to ask a question about it, then to do ...something...else. in any case it was a total of about 1 hour before she was able to get the form out of a drawer and give it to him. By the time it was all said and done, it took NextCare about 5 hours to see my child for a 30 min sports physical. They were the last to be called back and last to be seen. That means despite online appointment booking, online insurance verification, telephone check-in, in person check-in, 1 hour early arrival prior to appointment time, verifying patient count and walk-in acceptance to an empty lobby, prior to the hour early arrival, my husband and child watched people who came in after them be serviced and leave before them.Ill probably go back to NextCare, but if so, Hoadly Rd may not be the first option.

GO TO PATIENT FIRST INSTEAD. What a terrible place. I was a walk-in and it took about 3 hours to be seen. There were people in the waiting room with appointments who had been waiting for over an hour to be seen. The girl at the front desk would disappear and if asked any questions when she finally came back to the front I was given an attitude and told to “hold on” just so she could disappear again for God knows how long. Once my appointment was done and I was checking out I wasn’t given any referrals (I needed one for an orthopedic doctor but because no one was at the front I couldn’t even ask) besides an X-ray order, after the x-ray was done the NextCare doctor couldn’t find the results. What a terrible place, I ended up going to patient first where I waited maybe 15 minutes it was organized and there was plenty of staff to answer my questions or assist me as needed including asking me if I needed a wheel chair VS NextCare where I was given an attitude when I asked for one. Don’t waste your time at NextCare.

This was my third time coming to this urgent care and every time the receptionist had been friendly and very helpful. There was only one time when I waited for a long time but it was busy so as expected during a pandemic. The doctors and nurses are very friendly and want to make you feel better and comfortable. I will keep coming back when I need to.

Amazing urgent clinic! Service from the front desk to the check up was pleasant and thorough. They have fantastic online options to schedule appointments instead of having to wait forever. I didnt even use that and my total appointment time took less than 40 minutes! The staff is knowledgeable and patient and the office is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

So unprofessional, waste of time and money. I was seen on this location and my insurance denied the claim because the dr was not in network. How in the world you can come to an urgent care that is in network and receive a service from a provider who is out of network, basically like she doesn’t work there ( since her id is connected to another location)The provider had no knowledge at all, they didn’t even have supplies in the office needed for my appointment.So, this place doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

The appointment times are arbitrary. I understand it’s a Dr.’s office but why are walk ins being seen before me when I am already 30 minutes after my appointment time that I went through the trouble of booking? The communication is also lacking. The information that I entered online either wasn’t passed along to my Dr. or she didn’t bother reading it because she had no idea what my medical history was despite me putting it on the forms I filled out prior to my appointment. The staff is very friendly and efficient while I’m in the office but it definitely needs some improvements.

My experience once I got past the person answering the phone was great. The receptionist was very negative in her tone and questions. Told us we had a 2.5 hr wait and results would take 10-14 days. Drove to the test area and no one else was there and we were seen within 10 min. Received our results in 20. The woman doing the test was so kind and sweet. This honestly wasn’t the best experience. It took me about 45 minutes to actually get out of the waiting room And when they took me to the doctors room, I had to wait another 15. The doctor was barely there. She was maybe there for like 2 minutes and she basically said if there was a issue that she wouldn’t be able to help me. I would have to go to my primary provider. Okay what was the point of me coming here? Not very comforting. In all, this experience was probably 2+ hours long. If that’s the cause i rather go to the emergency room. I went into this facility hoping to have some sort of peace of mind but I left more worried and concerned then before. I would not recommend this place.

Overall, a solid experience, once I was seen! It was a pretty long wait, though I’m sure it’s mostly because of the high volume of people requesting appointments and COVID protocols. The woman who brought me in from the lobby was personable, yet very efficient; I was able to get a COVID test and strep throat test in one fell swoop! One thing is that once I got to the room and was seen by the doctor/nurse practitioner, it went very quickly and I wasn’t entirely sure what she found that was causing my sore throat/massive congestion. She did recommend a saline nasal spray, which was to treat the symptoms and gave a description of what it was supposed to do. Overall, I would say, a great experience, and I would recommend to others! Just perhaps be a bit more descriptive of how you’re feeling than I was and you may get a more comprehensive response from the team about what’s going on.

When I first came inside to ask if we should wait in the car, the receptionist was on the phone for about 5 minutes with the boss. She did not even acknowledge that I was standing there. Just guessing but I think the boss that she was on the phone with would have appreciated her paying attention to the customer. Once we got in the back it was fine and quick but 1 hour and 45 minutes just to get called back is unacceptable.

Always a great experience. I’ve used both their video appointments and in-person visits. This past Sunday I had a video call with Dr. Cheng for my 6 year old. His office is out of Fredericksburg and he has actually helped us in the past via video. He’s fantastic and my daughter is always comfortable with him. This time, he suggested we make another appointment on Monday, but in-person because he wanted a doctor to listen to her chest. We scheduled ahead for an appointment at the Woodbridge office. I always do the paperwork ahead of time so all I have to do is check-in once we arrive. We didn’t wait long and after meeting with the doctor, we’re all set within 10min. Both the nurse and doctor were wonderful with my daughter and I’m happy I chose to use NextCare again for her urgent care needs.

As I’m sitting waiting to be seen I don’t like how slow they deal with patients, I have a work related injury to my left foot and I’ve been waiting almost two hours now i got here at 1:52 the time is now 4:30... supposedly there are still two patients in front of me but I don’t see how that is possible if the two patients that were here waiting before are now gone. Really my only issue other than that the receptionist is sweet and very kind, the lobby seems very well kept as well.

Overcrowded waiting room and frustrating wait. I am here for a Covid test before I have surgery. I took the time to make an appointment online in advance. Despite this, I am waiting over 30 minutes PAST by my appointment time because they are running behind (terrible time management skills here), and I don’t even need to see a doctor! I need someone to swab my nose, which is typically done by a NURSE. I’m sure even the front desk staff could do it! In the end, I’m sure I’ll be waiting here for HOURS to get my test done. Why did I even bother to make an appointment??! And don’t even get me started on how insurance companies are no longer covering asymptomatic Covid testing, so this appointment will cost me, out of pocket, almost $200!I think they may actually be worse now than Patient First!

So I didnt even actually get care for my mother who had a head injury. Got very turned off to getting service here after one person walked out after waiting there for who knows how long and we waited an hour before leaving after we mentioned how my mother might need an x-ray to which the receptionist said they dont have a technician to work their x-ray machine... A lot of bad reviews here are blotted out by generic 5 star reviews but it seemed like no one was working there

The front desk worker could definitely work on her people skills and customer service. She seemed pressed to answer questions and assist. Shantel, however was amazing and went above and beyond to make my experience easy and calm my nerves during the COVID test. She also made sure I made an appointment for my son for Saturday as I almost forgot on my way out. The dr that I saw had very poor bedside manners and acted as if I was bothering her with my questions about follow up and what to do while I waited for my results. She rolled her eyea several times while I was speaking with her and continuously interrupted when I waa talking and asking questions for clarity. She may have been tired and I believe in grace ane compassion, however my review was on my experience...

Service was great. Waiting to get Covic19 test. Very helpful. Since I work for county schools and flying out in 2 days. They got me in as a walk in. Test results given that night. Worth paying extra to getting me in so quickly. My insurance is billed. Staff is very understanding and friendly. They make you feel at ease. Recommend them. My experience with nextcare urgent care on hoadly road was really bad today. The receptionist needed to be trained how to attend to their customers. For example even though its a walk in practice, they are still fully booked, and receptionist needed to know that before they ask their customers to call back at a certain time,, when they dont even know if they can see the practitioner. At the same time their waiting hours is terrible, my appt was supposed to be 12 pm, I was not seen until after 2pm. I was very upset, you were asked to sit in your call until they call you, I had to go back in and tell them I cant wait any longer before the receptionist talk to one of the nurses. It is frustrating and urgent care needs to review their policies to satisfy their customers.

They left for lunch while I waited in a room, barely able to speak due to neck pain. Doctor spent about 3 minutes with me, accused me RUDELY of trying to get narcotics (I didnt even use painkillers for my wisdom teeth removal...), and I left with nothing useful but a bill. Fortunately I can afford that, I feel sorry for those who cant.So, go here if you want to be looked down on by a doctor more concerned with lunch than patient care and comfort. We love this next care urgent care. When my kids are sick and I suspect it could be ear infection, or virus etc... I take them there instead of going to their pediatrician. I love that I can book my appointment and therefore the wait timeIs minimal. I also like that it is next door to the frosty moose ice cream that I can take my kids there after the appointment. Staff and doctors are thorough and friendly. They send prescription electronically to our pharmacy of choice. Never misdiagnosed my kids. If the symptoms are serious I don’t take the kids there though. They don’t have in house lab for blood work so it takes a while to get the results. However they charge urgent care feesz

Customer service is terrible, especially the receptionist with glasses. I called twice in the morning and noon, both times it went to the machine because they were busy I saw they had walk-in appointments for covid tests so I decided to come in around 1, only to find out they were done with covid tests for the day. The waiting room was literally just 3 people, and there were only 2 people in line including me, so its hard to believe they were actually busy, and not just lazy. The receptionist was definitely slow so she seems busy. If they had picked up the phone, I wouldnt have had to waste my time driving over and writing this review..

Long wait and unreliable medical care.Have been here a few times and service has been hit or miss. Every time the wait has been very long- one to two hours (with an appointment!) which is crazy! The past two times my husband or myself went we didn’t have good experiences at all. The doctor misdiagnosed me for a rash (I had none of the symptoms of what she diagnosed me with), and my husband went for a tick bite and they wouldn’t test him for Lyme, pull blood etc. We then had to follow up 4 TIMES with NextCare customer service and the office to get her to place the prescription to the pharmacy. All in all this establishment is not a reliable source for medical care. We won’t be back.

Had an 11:00 and 11:30 appointment scheduled in advance to have Covid Antibody tests done for myself and my son. Did all paperwork in advance through SOLV and checked in remotely when we arrived at 10:45 and I called the inside office to let them know we were checked in and to verify that they would call us on our cell when they were ready for us. 11:00 came and went for my appointment so at 11:30 I went inside the office to check on when my 11:00 appointment would actually take place. The front desk associate went to the back to ask and she came back and said it would be a few more minutes. I asked if we could just wait inside where others were sitting in chairs and it was cooler and she told us we could not wait inside that we had to go back to our vehicle. I told her we had already been outside waiting for 45 minutes and its hot, she responded dont you have a car? I replied yes, but Im not going to run the engine and A/C for another 45 minutes! My son and I exited and walked behind the building where there was some shade and sat on the grass. At 11:45 we finally get a call asking us to re-schedule our appointment because we dont have the supplies to do a blood draw. I responded, that would have been nice to know an hour ago when my appointment was set up in advance for a Covid Antibody test! She asked if she could schedule the appointment for me and I told her not to bother!

I went online like I always do and made my appointment for my son. I made it for 1130 am yesterday. I had to be somewhere at 1pm, so this was the only time I could take him. We showed up 12 minutes early. I got my notification by text that I was checked in and there was one person with a appointment ahead of us and 4 walk-ins in the office. They clearly have a sign that states appointments will be seen before walk-ins. That is why I made an appointment online. Well after 30 minutes of waiting past our appointment time, I asked the receptionist how long it would be. She stated it would probably be more than an hour longer. She said they had to see the walk-ins first. I asked why and she stated it would not be fair to see us first even though we had an appointment. Well that is not the way it works.

Super fast professional medical service. If your medical issue is not “emergency room only” warranted then NextCare Urgent CRe is the place to go. Been there 3 times and have not had to wait more than 45 minutes or so. The staff is friendly, very professional and the whole process is just so hassle free. Doctor is very caring, and had me out the door in like a matter of minutes. It’s my go to place for myself and my family.

This urgent care is understaffed. I made an online appointment for 9am checked in at 8:59am got in at 10am got a quick strep test done and its 10:30am and Im still waiting for discharge paperwork. Unprofessional, Ignorant and should not be treating anyone! Went in with a bad cut. The paper towels were soaked by the time I got there. All they kept saying was WE CLOSE IN 6 MINUTES. Turned away a small child that came in with a cut because they were CLOSED. The hours posted said they closed at 8, it was 5:57. When I took my scripts to the Pharmacy, I was told they were written wrong and could not be filled. If you want proper treatment, avoid this place!!

I appreciate that this NextCare Location is within a Hop Skip & Jump from my Home in which I’ve own and reside for the last 13+ years. There has never been any overly extensive wait times at this location, the Physicians and R.N. Staff have always been caring and knowledgeable with both Myself and my Teen Son. Always Courteous& kind to our personal Medical situation and handle each with Professionalism and Care. While the front desk folks seem to have a high ratio of Staff Turnover at this location, it has never seemed to have had any effect on the quality of care that has been given by the Medical Staff and Physicians at this NexTCare Location.

I went to NextCare for my first Covid 19 test today and happy to say it was negative. I showed up for my appt and was seen within 15 minutes, waited 5 minutes for my test that was much more painless than people say and 10 minutes later had my results and a prescription for my flu symptoms. The staff was amazing and comforting. If you are complaining about your wait time on here just make an appt and it will go a lot smoother!

This was my first time visiting this location. I called to make a urgent care appointment for today I called and the receptionist guy was really nice and professional he got me in within 30 to 45mins appointment. Once I arrive the office was nice and clean he check me in quick and the medical assistant came out right after I finished my paperwork she was very nice and professionalThe exam room was nice and clean also the doctor came in and she was very professional and listen to my concern.

I love coming here. I was in a lot of pain from hitting my toe but the staff took excellent care of me, even made me laugh in spite of my pain. My toe wasn’t broken but they handled me like royalty. I was treated by Nurse practitioner Hirut Gebre, she was awesome! I didn’t get the names of the other team members but they were great too everyone listened to me and didn’t rush me off. I was going to the hospital and then I remembered the excellent care I received on my last visit and made a bee line to NextCare. Thank you for being the best.

Dr. FatimaYou don’t come across many doctors that take their time and have a conversation with you. Most just want to get you in and get you out.This is my second time seeing her. Ill drive past the nextcare urgent care 2 minutes away from my home just to go to this one 17 minutes away. The patient experience at this facility is definitely present. From the check in staff to the provider every one was polite. My visit was quick and efficient.

Appointment at 5 came at 4:45 checked in and due to walk ins… waited two hours to be seen. For a covid rapid test. No communication unless you go inside and keep asking. Nobody in the waiting area, this is a place we’re we are referring our military service members to get tested fast!!!!!I’ll stop sending our Marines here!They complete suck!!! I will never stop by another nextcare clinic again, even if it’s life or death situation!!Very unsat!

Our family uses this facility and are quite satisfied. Except today due to inclement weather the website said it was open at 8 am but I got a text saying it opens at 10:00 am and I got a text confirmation for my 9:30 am appointment and asked me to check in at 9:15 am . I was in the parking lot by 9:15 am had to wait an hour because of wrong texts .The service is great but if someone could be on top of updating website and text messages that would be great in the event of inclement weather . Thanks

Last week, I was on vacation and was trying to make an emergency appointment for my sister out of state. The specialist needed her records from this Nextcare facility, which my sister had been to the week prior and received lab results from. We were trying to receive her records in an urgent manor, but after speaking to the staff at Nextcare over a 24-hour span, 4 different times and sending multiple emails, they finally sent us over the wrong information. We were very clear in the records we needed and do not understand why we never received what we asked for. We even had the other physician contact them, hoping they could clarify what was needed, to no avail. This review is not of the doctors, but against administrative workers handling phone/records submission, who were very rude over the phone. There are other urgent care places in the area, I recommend avoiding the headache.

Waited over an hour even after scheduling an appointment the previous day. Failed to disclose they were out of rapid Covid-19 tests until confirming the appointment (30 min after the scheduled appointment date). Doctor would not test for flu, only concern was covid. Only met w/ me for maybe 5 minutes then was out the door. Would not reccomend anyone come here for any urgent services.

Waited 2 hours for a covid test even though I scheduled ahead of time. Waited in the room for 20 minutes before anyone entered. Wait times are ridiculous here. No one gave any information, and feels extremely disorganized. Nurse came in and didnt even know no one did a test on me yet. Need better management.

Nice staff. Their check-in process is broken. Id give less stars but I like the people. They have a barcode used to check-in and the barcode takes you to a SCAM site to take your credit card information. Please take down that barcode. I got fooled and was charged 2.95 by GAM-CUL / tudum.co I canceled my credit card.

I received a rapid covid test at this location. Staff were very organized and friendly. The nurse and lab technician were careful in administering the test and providing the results. I highly recommend making an appointment or showing up right when the location opens like I did.

This place is a joke. DO NOT go there for COVID tests. We went for our first test and got the results in 48 hrs. The second test, three days later, they failed to tell us they had switched labs, so we kept checking the lab they used previously to find out results. Left several messages that they did not return to see if we had missed something. Today my husband went in. They had the negative results since Sunday (its Thursday). They obviously could care less, and Im out a weeks pay. This is pure negligence.

First and last time coming here!! Prior to anything I asked if they did stitches on my childs lip and the receptionist said yes scan the QR code to receive a new patient registration, wait in my car and the wait time would be 1 hour. TWO hours later I get a phone call that Hirut Gebre FNP refused to see my child because of the reasoning I ASKED PRIOR TO if they could see him for. Definitely do not recommend this place, complete waste of time!!

The light in the bathroom flickers like a scary movie. no hot water at the sink and no hand towels, dont bother with an appointment as you will be bumped by walk-ins. My appointment was at 4:30 I wasnt seen till 5:30 and didnt get out the door till 6. Otherwise everyone was friendly and a great time was had by all.

Poorly run establishment with poor customer service. I made an appointment and when I arrived, they were closed despite the open sign being on and hours saying they were open Saturdays from 8-4. Why was I able to make an appointment for that day if they were closed? I got a call the next day, Sunday, asking if I was ready for my appointment, and when I explained that I had one scheduled for the previous day and what had happened, the gentleman said oh yes, sorry, we were closed yesterday and I hung up. Really? Thats the explanation I get? Will not be returning.

This is the worst experience I have had here. I went for lower L back pain. The NP askd me to give a urine sample, so I did. She told me I had elevated leukocytes but that didnt mean I had an infection, and said she wanted me to do an xray to make sure I didnt have a pulled muscle. I told her I hadnt done anything strenuous so I know I didnt pull a muscle. She said she just wanted to rule that out. She did an xray and said she didnt see anything. Then she proceeded to tell me she sent a muscle relaxer and ibuprofen to my pharmacy. WHAT?? After she saw elevated leukocytes and nothing on the xray she should have prescribed antibiotics not muscle relaxers that im NOT going to pick up anyway. Now Im still undiagnosed with the same discomfort that i went there with, not to mention i checkd in at 4:35pm and wasnt called back until 7:20pm and there were only 6 people ahead of me!! I will NEVER return to this Urgent care center again!

The front desk staff are somewhat helpful. Sometimes their system doesnt pull up the right copay information. Overall, the physicians have very good bedside manner and can help with properly diagnosing ailments.

Unfortunately I needed to visit due to Covid. They offered the Rapid test even as a walk-in so I’m extremely grateful for that! Even though it was a very long wait (3 hours), it was to be expected with all that we’re dealing with these days. The staff was extremely helpful and nice and all my questions were answered accordingly. Stay safe and healthy - wear a mask!!

I waited for 2.5 hours today for them to barely look at me and prescribe ibuprofen....we sat in the room so long that the sensor lights turned off. I have never had to wait that long there before. I also mentioned I had a cough for four weeks and they didn’t even address it. Not sure why today was so different from other visits I have had.

The staff here was courteous, respectful, and made me feel comfortable the whole time my leg was bleeding and in pain. Ms. Schmerfeld had a ballerinas touch (as she stated) and Ms. Rosales was nice enough to keep it real and let me know that certain parts of the visit were going to hurt. Went to get my son a COVID test after exposure. They told me it would be a minute and there was only one person in front of us. After an hour we went in and we were told to go back outside and that they had an emergency. No one could call us to let us know if the delay? Terrible service. Not Truly an Urgent Care facilityThis is the most debilitated state and the most pain that I have ever been in, in my entire life. I was seen there for non traumatic, sudden onset, lower back pain which started about four days ago now and has only stayed the same or slightly worsened. Since this issue started I have been unable to stand up straight, and can only move hunched over and at a snails pace taking baby steps due to the sharp pain in my lower back which seems to occur frequently and without warning. Also I have no history of lower back pain, or any similar such ailment/episode in the past.While the front desk staff and the individual who took my vitals were all very professional and extremely courteous, the female Physicians Assistant (PA) who I saw me spent no more than three minutes assessing me, never asked about my 5-6/10 constant pain, and 9-10/10 pain spikes which frequently occur when attempting any type of movement.After spending a few minutes with her I was prescribed a fairly weak muscle relaxant, and some basic anti-inflammatory drugs. I asked about whether I would receive an x-ray, and she declined stating that my insurance would not pay for such a test from an urgent care facility and also the fact that my aliment was non traumatic. I also let her know that I would need a note for work. Which she did provide although the basic wording states patient is under her care, and will return to work in one days time. In my current state it would take nearly half the day for me to make it from the parking garage and into the facility where I work.Maybe there were no doctors available at the time, Im not sure how much this may have factored into the treatment (or lack of treatment) which I received, but after spending time, money, and a significant amount of effort to crawl into their facility, I am basically in same place as I was before. I am in significant pain (8-10), I still do not know what the root cause of this pain is, and I am still unable to return to work in this state (despite the PAs note and her fairly rosy prediction that I will be able to return to work in just one days time).I would NOT RECOMMEND this facility to anyone that is suffering from a truly debilitating issue or ailment. You may just be better off visiting either the ER/hospital, your primary care physician, or making an appointment to see the respective specialty provider.

We needed an urgent Care or ER late on a Saturday evening when many were no longer open. When we arrived, of course there was paperwork to fill out. While there was a blank for ones SS number, they did not force the issue. This gets big kudos from us because of identity theft.The space inside was open and well lit. The staff personnel were friendly and comfortable. The wait from finishing the paperwork to being seen by either a PA or doctor was just over an hour for which they profusely apologized. I gather there is not usually as long a wait. But like I said, theyre were not many options late on a Saturday evening. Even our local stand alone ER has developed long wait times, and the other urgent care that is closer to us apparently routinely had wait times over two hours.The doctor/PAs treatment option for me had worked well, despite my concern that it wouldnt.Friendly, efficient, clean, with appropriate medical treatment. Could not ask for more from an urgent care facility. They even had a family friendly movie playing not only in the waiting room, but also in the treatment rooms. I had a horrible experience with an extremely rude nurse practitioner! She was disrespectful and condescending! She told me I should have gone to my doctor not them because I have been fighting a cold for a month - it was my second visit there over the past couple weeks. Many of my students have been struggling with the same symptoms. The nurse that checked me in actually scolded me for coughing into my arm while they were taking my blood pressure because it scewed the results. Really? What happened to customer service? Never again!

I was told by the doctor, I could not visit the office no more, because of a continuous reoccurring condition I had. The doctor stated they can not see me anymore....WOW! I was very disappointed and it kind of hurt my feeling a little bit. Their office was very convenient for me. So I guess I have to go to Velocity Urgent Care now, but I did seek a better doctor to help me. And most of my visit, I was not checked for, but just prescribed me meds, not knowing the facts of what my condition was, even though I was 99% sure what my reoccurring situation was. But I did seek the right doctor and hopefully I do not have to ever visit your office again.

The 2nd worst experience Ive ever had with urgent care (the worst being a miscarriage in the family). We had a 3 hour wait from the get go (originally told it would be 1 hour, while waiting I left my teen son so I could pick up my daughter, there were 2 people ahead of us when I left, came back 20 minutes later and there were 3, when we did get into an exam room there was dried blood on the exam table see picture, went to CVS to get the prescription they couldnt find it and turned out the clinic had mispelled my sons name and wrong birth date, when I called for the supervisors information they said to give the feedback on the website, when I asked for the supervisors phone number all I got was a email and it turns out the supervisor is actually located a couple hundred miles away in North Carolina). Seems like a business that lacks adult supervision.

I waited from 1:16 to 5pm to be seen just to be told they cannot see me because I hurt my arm at work, which I did not report to work because I myself ran into a doorknob, waiting for over three hours for a call to come into the clinic just to be told I can’t be seen because I don’t have workers comp info, which I was NOT going in for a workers comp accident I was going in with my own insurance to get my arm checked as doing things at home could’ve injured it more. Now I know why people sit at the ER all day because of stuff like this, 3 hours wasted waiting when I could’ve gone somewhere else if they would’ve told me this hours ago.

I’m am extremely disappointed with each visit I originally came in for a workers comp related issue straight forward I mentioned to the doctor about an ear issue not even once tried to look not even for a basic physical exam no nurse looked and the doctor just brushes it off and tells me I need to make a. Separate appointment. I come back today I was told there were 2 nurse but instead one so I was forced to wait which wasn’t a major issue the problem came was that I paid for the visit the doctor looked in my ear and said nothing was wrong, why couldn’t the other doctor tell me this by just looking no instead I am forced to waste time and money for an issue that apparently has resolved for ears that still hurt. I would never recommend this place so far my experiences have just left a sour taste for me

I went here to be treated for bronchitis. I received their survey when I was still being treated. Rushed out as it was past closing time when I was treated. PA was rude and didnt explain results of the ECG, I was just told Do you want us to call you an ambulance? I was never given the nebulizer treatment that she said she was going to give. I was also not given the antibiotic I was told I would get. I followed up with my cardiologist who said my ECG was performed wrong. I spent time worrying that something was wrong all because of user error. I will not return to this or any NextCare, nor would I recommend them to others. Very disappointed in the poor service and lack of professionalism from the incompetent staff.

Went there to get a covid test and clearance for my son. GUESS what after waiting 3 hrs was told NO rapid covid test. Did not like the Provider at all. Bhumi and Chantel were both caring professionals towards my son when I took him in today. They were knowledgeable and they both went above and beyond what I expected, which I very much appreciate and so does my son! The doctor was also great but I did not get her name. They all worked together and made my son feel at ease which is important to parents. I would definitely recommend NextCare to my family and friends.

I don’t usually post reviews but poor service at this establishment compels me to rate it a 1 star. I’ve given this urgent care several tries due to the proximity to my house but each time I’ve had to deal with hours long wait only to be seen by the doctor for 5mins and told to follow up with my primary care. My advice, seek care elsewhere.

Wow. I really should have read the reviews before attempting to use this place. At 8am, their advertised opening time, I stood there with my child and several other people needing urgent medical care, outside a locked door with a brightly lit OPEN sign. Tried to scan the QR code on the door and it said the location was closed. Eventually got through to someone at their central customer service line and the woman nonchalantly tells me oh that location isnt open until 10 I explain it says 8 on the door, the website and Google, and she tells me well sometimes of they dont have the staff they just dont open . Think Im ever trusting this sham company with my childrens Healthcare? Nope.... heading to the CVS minute clinic instead.

Everything was great except for the forgot to send a prescription of ibuprofen to my pharmacist. I know theycare just 800s but I was looking forward to the very slight temporary relief they would have given me. With the pain its hard to eat and sleep. Quick and friendly administrative processing. NP and DR were also nice and examined me efficiently without making it feel like I was being processed and moved along. They accept Tricare, so it’s a reasonable co-pay, and are connected to the Dumfries Health Center so I was able to quickly pick up my prescriptions at a military pharmacy.

Not a pleasant one. It took them two days to call prescription in for me. And Ive been waiting for one week now for lab results from a urinalysis. The doctor informed me that I would be contacted within a couple of days concerning the results. I would not recommend visiting this location. And you can not call the office directly. You are routed to a call center that is even less adequate at performing their jobs.

Lady told us to come here 7:30 to line up for COVID testing. We come at 7:15. Wait for 45 minutes for opening for her to tell us to call the number on the door. We were the first in line, now number 10 in line after being on hold on the phone for 10 minutes. Unbelievably disorganized. Why would you not let us know the correct instructions when we were here?

Dont go here if you are in a hurry. I arrived and the place was empty and they didnt see my daughter for over an hour later. I watched as the nurses in the back were walking around laughing but I didnt see any patients. It wasnt until I complained to the front desk that I wanted my co pay back and that I was going somewhere else that they decided to see us. I should have drove the extra 10 mins somewhere else.

Worst worst worst customer service. We booked the appointment and came in early. After waiting for almost an hour, the nurse called and said the turn around time for covid testing has been changed. When we book the appointment and even a day before appointment, they said you will get the results by Friday. After waiting for an hour they refused what they said. Very bad customer service.
