Do not waste your time. I scheduled and paid for an appointment with Dr. Fru about 3-4 months ago. I received a phone call stating that Dr. Fru quit without notice and all appointments would be rescheduled when the new doctor had license for Georgia and I would receive a call with updates on the appointment. I called back today since so never received those calls and spoke with the ultrasound tech, jojo which is extremely rude and lacks compassion and empathy. She stated that the company was bought out by another company and that she would add my name to a list and send it to someone as soon as she knows who the list goes to? Seriously, you have no idea who to even talk to? I requested a supervisor, she stated that she would not return to the office until the end of September beginning of October and that is who she will give the running record of names to of call complaints.This was a really bad decision. Having miscarriages is hard enough as it is then thinking that you are finding a providers office that can help you finally be a mom then they play with you like this is insane.

I would not recommend this place to anyone My husband and I initially stared with OMA about 6 months ago. We decided to start out IUI in July of this year. We paid for it in June but received a phone call saying that the fees were going up and so if we wanted to do a second one if the first one didn’t work then we would have to pay about 1,200 instead of 500. We agreed to pay for 2 treatments. I had my appointment for a test on Aug 6 and was told that my results would be in that evening and I could start my medication on that Monday. I got a call from the nurse Saturday evening saying that due to my test I couldn’t start treatment but she couldn’t go over the results with me. So I called the doctor on that Monday or Tuesday to find out that the doctor quit and no one can go over my results with me. I spoke with the office manager several times and asked for a refund. It’s the 28th of august and I do not have a refund, test results, phone call or any information.

Please save your time and money. 0/10 Would not recommend. This journey means so much to those who seek treatment and we have gotten nothing but unprofessional behavior from OMA ATL. My first red flag was when they forgot to test for CMV in our initial bloodwork. Next, our prescription for a trigger shot was never sent out until the day of and even then it was sent to the wrong address. These errors drastically affect donor selections and the timing of ovulation/procedures. Lastly, at the end of our two week wait window we had an appointment to get our pregnancy confirmation blood work. We received a call the day prior saying that the doctor had an emergency and wouldn’t be able to read the results and that they had no estimated time for her return. This was obviously disappointing, but we understood emergencies happen sometimes. What we were not expecting was for the doctor to reach out to us separate from the clinic stating that she had quit, that the clinic was essentially broke, and urging all patients to get their money back. Since then (early AUG 2023 ) we have left AMPLE emails, calls, and texts with all the different departments of OMA ATL and the California headquaters and yet we have received ZERO COMMUNICATION with the clinic since the phone call stating the “emergency”. You owe your patients an EXPLANATION. You owe your patients REFUNDS for the services YOU NEVER PROVIDED or FINISHED. I have never experienced such BLATANT DISREGARD for professionalism. Please stay away. This journey should be beautiful. OMA Fertility cannot give you that.

I really wanted to love this fertility clinic. It started off extremely well - almost too good to be true and it turns out it was. Ill start off by saying that the Atlanta staff are super nice and responsive. One of the issues, however, was that they failed to disclose to me at the outset that they do not accept ANY insurance even tho they requested my insurance info when I called to obtain an appointment for the consultation.After nearly a month and hours of time invested in the process, I finally spoke with their financial person who informed me that I had to pay $9000k out of pocket and that they do not accept any form of insurance despite being in my insurance carriers network. This was extremely disappointing especially given that they pride themselves in raving about no surprises or hidden costs.The primary reason why OMA deserves 1 star, however, is because when I asked to speak with someone on their leadership team, I received a call from Danielle Schulman who was arguably one of the most condescending, arrogant and rudest person I have ever spoken to from any establishment. After speaking with her, I looked her up on Linked-in because I just had to find out where her arrogance stemmed from. Her credentials, however, were just ok and average at best, so I struggle to understand the justification for her arrogance. It still boggles my mind as to why OMA made the decision to entrust her as its representative.

When I say Dr.Fru is the best I mean it in the most humble way. I have been wanting to take this journey for 8 years and Dr. Fru is the first person who has made me feel so comfortable and I just want the world to know that OMA FERTILITY is the TRUTH and if your are looking to be more then a number but apart of a family this is the place to be. Also Taylor, Jennifer and Ms. D(I don’t want to want mess the spelling of her name) but the whole team is just awesome and so caring. And of course affordable you can’t beat having it all in one place.

I can’t recommend the Atlanta office enough - Dr. Fru, Sharon, Taylor, and the entire staff there are so kind and compassionate and are truly in your corner supporting you the whole way. It’s so easy to feel like just another number in these scenarios, but this office truly see each person as individuals and therefore plans their care that way as well. HIGHLY recommend.

I’m extremely grateful to be able to have this team assisting on the existing journey, Dr. Fru was tremendously great with her explanation on what to expect during this journey and what we need to attend to get to the finish line. Thank you!!!
