I just had the best doctors appointment of my entire life here. Every person I interacted with was so sweet and welcoming. Ms. Ebony at the front desk was the absolute sweetest and so helpful over the phone and in person. Everyone in the whole office was very comforting and helpful.

I really, really like this office. However, I am frustrated that I asked several times if my insurance was in-network and they said yes, and now I have a $1000 bill because they are in fact, not in-network. I understand it is also my responsibility, but with such a large office with seemingly several layers and names, it was hard to verify myself, so I was leaning on the team (which I feel is understandable) to do their job. I tried to call the billing department and theres no answer. This is very upsetting.

I’m not a patient here but I live in the area and a package of mine somehow was delivered here. Ebony was kind enough to find me on Facebook and let me know. It was a birthday present from my sister that we’ve been trying to track down for days. I just moved across the country so the lost package was especially a big bummer. When I walked in the gal working immediately knew the situation and was equally as kind and wonderful. Anywhere that goes out of there way to take care of a stranger’s Amazon package clearly takes great care of humans as well. Thank you both!

I was at Avita Care at 2140 Peachtree RD. Atlanta, GA after a long search for a specialist with transgender women and I finally found someone that cares, they took time to listen to my concerns and treated me with the care and respect in a professional manner.

Been coming to this team for years. I love Terry and really appreciate the level of care and candor around my health. It’s important for me as a gay man to have a provider that understands my community and can provide informed care without me having to provide education around LGBTQ health concerns.

My recent visit to Avita Care was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I wasnt checked in promptly due to a lengthy delay in verifying my insurance, taking a whopping 25 minutes. Consequently, they informed me Id have to reschedule as they were about to close. This prevented me from connecting with my doctor as planned, wasting both our time.The inefficiency and lack of communication in handling insurance verification were unacceptable. It disrupted my appointment and prevented me from receiving necessary care. This experience made me question the clinics competence and professionalism.Overall, my visit was marred by inefficiency and poor communication. I hope this feedback prompts improvements for a smoother experience for all patients.

I see Dr. Shannon Ashley and she is amazing. I have been her patient for over a year now. I love that the staff is friendly and courteous. They always answers the phone and if they say they are going to get back to you then they normally will. Love it here and I also love that we can use Medicaid here as well.

Just switched my primary care to Erin Everett and I am so glad that I made the change! The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They listened to my concerns and made sure that there was enough time to directly address all of my questions. I finally feel seen, heard and cared for as whole person. Easy scheduling for initial and follow up appointments. The clinic is in ATL which isn’t super convenient for me as I live in Smyrna but it’s worth the drive and there’s plenty of free parking available at least in the middle of the day on a work day.

I had an excellent experience yesterday. The staff was welcoming and efficient, and Kyle Jones displayed a high level of professionalism and empathy. He took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explained the diagnosis, and discussed a comprehensive care plan. I felt well-cared-for throughout the entire visit, and the positive atmosphere in the clinic contributed to a reassuring experience.P.S it looks like most of AbsoluteCare staff is still there so it still feels friendly, cheerful and caring. Shoutout to the front desk team and medical assistants! ❤️

So beyond impressed with the AvitaCare team here in Atlanta. I’ve never seen a healthcare team go so above and beyond for their patients. High encourage anyone within the ATL area that needs a physician to look here first.

Had an appointment recently with Erin Everett at AvitaCare. Followed her from a previous practice and was very pleased with the staff, facility, and treatment at her current clinic. The staff was really friendly when I arrived and the professionalism extended through the entire visit.

My anticipation was high when I booked an appointment with AvitaCare Atlanta, but regrettably, my visit left much to be desired.The most disheartening aspect was the doctors lack of responsiveness. Despite my attempts to reach out with concerns and inquiries, the communication was lacking. Entrusting my health to a provider who neglects communication and patient care is beyond frustrating.Overall, my encounter with AvitaCare Atlanta was deeply disappointing. I advise others to look elsewhere for care, particularly if they prioritize responsive, quality service. Superior healthcare providers in the area prioritize patient well-being and satisfaction.

I have been a patient of Absolute Care, now Avita Health, for 10+ years. Dr. Dennis Milton was my PCP during this time prior to his retirement. He was absolutely phenomenal and provided such great care. In addition, his medical assistant, Wendy Torres, made me feel so safe and at home. Shes always been so attentive, warm, informative, but most of all, INCLUSIVE! Being an advocate for humanity in general, its great to see Wendy embrace all people, no matter race, creed or gender. In addition to Dr. Milton and his phenomenal care, Wendy and her commitment to inclusivity is one of the main reasons that kept me coming back and for that, I say THANK YOU!Im no longer a resident of Atlanta, however, Ive not changed my primary care and fly in to Atlanta for my checkups. Thats just how committed I am to my health and being in a space that not only welcomes me, but cares for my health just as much as I do.

Last week, January 11 was my last and final appointment with my medical team, Dr Dennis Melton (retired) assistant, Wendy Tores.I could not have asked for or received better medical care anywhere else.Professionalism attention to detail and personal care whether at an appointment or a phone call at home to check on my well-being after hours goes unmatched. I will never receive the level of care that these two individual medical professionals, but more importantly, friends ever again. I consider them both “family”.Dr. Melton’s care for me in his “doctors way“ , he also cared for me as an individual. He knew how to direct my medical care when my personal life was in turmoil, and my future uncertain.When my father died, it was nearly the death of me as well. I’ll never forget his ability to take the time needed for me during my extensive grief to see to it that got the care I needed regardless of how long the appointment took. He was there for me as I transitioned from being a working professional into an early and unplanned retirement. The list goes on.His amazing assistant on the other hand ,Wendy could barge in and take a serious situation where my anxiety and blood pressure were sky high and by the time I left the office I was calm and collected. Not an easy feat I can assure youHer in wavering care of me, both personally and professionally will be missed and cannot be replaced.My journey with HIV began in 1983 as naive young man of 17 years of age. Medical professionals at the time wore biohazard suits when entering the exam room to see me. Imagine how that affected me as a 17 year old boy. Covid was a horrible reminder of that time and still rattles me some 40 years later.Regardless of what my appointment was for it always started out and ended with a loving hug from Wendy , a far cry from the latter.In closing I’d like to say that I’m a better person as an individual and undoubtedly alive as a patient because of Dr. Melton and Wendy Tores. Ive currently followed my NP Erin to this place. The staff has been nothing but amazing, from scheduling, to the amount of care I get from everyone.I was running 30mins late and they were so understanding. We had a small glitch in the billing explained what was going on and handled it very quickly.The random negative reviews, make no sense. Ive gotten nothing but top notch service.

I’ve been going to AvitaCare for almost 2 years now. Dr Robinson and staff does a great job. I highly recommend. This visit I had the pleasure of meeting a different labs nurse Clori I do believe was her name (I apologize if incorrect.) did a fantastic job today! I look forward to my next visit.

I had the pleasure of visiting AvitaCare for the first time today, and I must say it was a truly wonderful experience. Dr. Shannon, my new primary care physician, demonstrated genuine care and concern. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone in need of exceptional healthcare.Update: I’m sad to update my review to two stars, but I think it’s important. Waiting a whole month for lab results, doing a retest, and not getting any response is quite frustrating.

I had my first visit at AvitaCare today with Erin Everett and can not recommend them enough. In the past I have been to offices where I was just another person to be rushed through. Today Erin and all of the staff took time to listen to all my concerns and work with me to address them. They also were able to get a prior authorization approved before I made it home from the appointment.

I wanted to update my review to say that i have now seen Dr. Ashley for a couple years and i love her so much. She is the best and most thorough Dr that I’ve ever had. I really feel so cared for at this facility and actually enjoy my visits. Dr. Ashley is an encyclopedia of information and it’s obvious that she loves her job and stays up to date on everything medical-even supplements. Finally, i have found my place!

Long time visitor. It varies from time to time, but typically efficient. Very easy to talk to, and understanding. Has similar problems to most clinics, but they are willing to discuss issues especially payment ones. Push notifications for consistent medication are a bit touch and go. But overall, I do quite enjoy this clinic especially if youre part of the queer community. They are very accepting and a great clinic for trans folk.

Absolute care just gets better and better every visit I have with them I know my Personal Nurse Wendy and my doctor Dennis Milton is the best doctor Ive ever had for over 15 years now. And hes so caring and professional and goes above and beyond the call of duty. Absolute Care is truly Absolute Care! 5 stars!

This place was excellent, but something changed over the years. What was a great staff and service is no more—watching the service staff operating unprofessionally and only attending to clients when they realized that the waiting room was overflowing. Folks were walking out after an exhausting wait! Now known as Avitacare, they never answer the phone or correspond. I cant get my medical records, log into my account, or make an appointment. I get it, goodbye!

A+ facility with wonderful staff. I am quite picky about recommending medical facilities, as most are overworked to the point of providing bare-minimum care. That is not the case with Avita Care. Staff here are the most personable, inclusive, attentive people I have encountered in a healthcare setting. Having worked in multiple mental health facilities and struggled to find resources for transgender patients in GA, I jump at the opportunity to recommend Avita Care to anyone in need of primary or specialty care. The staff seem to genuinely enjoy and take pride in their work. Jewel and Pristellas care has been life-changing and life-saving (trans-affirming healthcare often is). I have been a patient at Avita Care for many years now, and I cant thank this team enough for providing such stellar care.

Dr Terry was more than helpful. He not only gave great advice, but also listened and provided great medical care. The staff was more than supportive and helpful as well!! If you are looking for a safe space to be honest about your medical needs I highly recommend you give them a call.

Absolute Care was one of the best medical visit experiences Ive had in my life. Zero wait time, super pleasant and professional staff from the intake to checkout. Dr. Roderick Stewart is exampleray, his calm demeanor put my anxiety at ease. He was able to provide a patient friendly solution to my medical needs.They even gave me a gift bag for my first visit. I wish I could give this place a negative 5. I was seeing Avita for a serious medical issue, but with little notice they terminated an entire clinic. I was told sorry, we found out yesterday that corporate is shutting the clinic down, so we are calling all patients to let them know that they have to seek care elsewhere. This decision should have been handled by not accepting new patients, and NOT be writing off their present patients with almost no notice! Or, they could have slowly shut it down over several months, but the change was made in a couple of days! Instead, their actions were like kicking sick people into the street. Disgusted. Avoid at all costs. So happy we were only visiting here and can get good care in our home state.

I would have given 5-star, but since I have left THREE messages to make an appointment and I cant access the portal...3 is the best I can do.....What is going on??? Both Dr. Robinson and Nurse Ben are EXCELLENT at delivering service with compassion. Have been a patient for years and would like to continue. If only I could get a return phone call to make an appointment. (hint hint)

Honestly this is the best healthcare experience I’ve had in many years! Front office people are always extremely nice and super helpful. They connected me with NP Lorena Williams who is absolutely AMAZING! She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I was referred to see a couple of specialists and Absolute Care even scheduled appointments for me!I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Dr. Rosenstock has been amazing in my care with post Covid issues. The office staff was great. They are very thorough with labs, tests and diagnostic studies if needed. His experience speaks for itself. It was well worth the 90 minute drive to see him.

Excellent care! Keith Hood NP, is amazing as well as the entire staff. This was my first experience with this group. James at the front desk was equally as warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this group of professionals!

Ive been with absolute care since 2005. They have evolved over the years ,but maintained high standard. So far with thier recent changes of ownership. It still remains excellent.

I see Lorena Williams and she is the best. She is very tentative, listens to you, and only refers you out if she feels it’s medically necessary. You can tell she got into the healthcare field as an NP for the love of helping people. I don’t trust providers due to a situation I had in my past with one but she has made me change my mind on that and glad I decided to give her a try once I moved here to Atlanta. I would highly recommend my friends to come and see her for sure she helped me in so many ways with my cancer scare I couldn’t thank her enough!

I will never in my life trust these people with my health again! I used to have the greatest PCP there, but then she left for whatever reason. So I’ve recently seen Dr. Nyabilondi Ebama. I have been trying to contact her desk or anyone else for that matter for weeks now. I have a daily med that I can’t even get because it’s IMPOSSIBLE to contact them, be seen, get updates, or even simply get a freaking hug if I wanted it. This is the poorest health care I’ve ever received!!

Recently began going to AbsoluteCare, seeing Dr. Robinson & his PA Ben. Ive been without a specific pcp for a while, and feel confident with the decision to be treated by them. So far seems to be a well-run practice offering a surprisingly comprehensive range of services.I really want to commend one of their caseworkers, Bethany. Ive always had employer-provided insurance & recently landed in a position of having to self-insure via the marketplace. Bethany walked me through every step of the way, from finding a plan best suited to my needs to filing claims and other procedures that were new to me. Shes never been less than absolutely willing to help, with a no such thing as a stupid question attitude. Shes incredibly knowledgeable about the ins & outs of ACA. Always pleasant & reassuring, I feel Im in reliable, capable hands with Bethanys guidance.

AbsoluteCare Atlanta is my favorite medical office I go to. Their providers, nurses, and other staff are kind, helpful and respectful. Jewel Sawyer in particular is excellent, taking the time to really understand patients and explain things carefully to them. Excellent clinic for LGBTQ healthcare needs.

These people love their job and you can tell it. From the delicacy of making sure that you feel 100 comfortable to making sure that you receive all the care you need before you leave. This place is a team. The wait times are extremely shorter then others. You dont have to hunt anyone down for answers. They have the full package here and they collectively work together. Shawnte was extremely helpful from start to finish with making sure that the flow of everything went smoothly and went above and beyond to help me once I left. Tony and his sense of urgency was unmatched. And last but Not least Doctor Ebama was so knowledgeable and quickly devised a plan to get my quickly back to better health This team works so well together and you can tell when the goal is you and your health. There werent any attitudes nor any unwillingness to help like some places Ive been. Thank you guys.

Moved to metro Atl a few weeks ago and needed to establish primary care. So glad I found Dr. Rodrick Stewart. Hes competent, passionate about healthcare, and believes in educating his patients.Also, shout out to the lab testing lady and front desk staff. Everyone I encountered seemed to be in good spirits.They even gifted me with a gym sack bag full of goodies (travel mug, heat pack, and key chain with flash flight etc.). Received 5 star service. Highly recommend!

When I moved to Atlanta in 2019 I was kind of stranded medically. I discovered Absolute care after I enrolled for health Insurance. Since then they’ve been very helpful concerning my medical needs. They go over and above to help with even financial aspects of my care. Special thanks to Dr Ebama, Jackie, Angel the social worker and all others I don’t know by name. Thank you for all you are doing and keep saving lives.

Oh god. I just found out that my PCP has moved to Avita Care. I thought ok Ill see them there. Lo and behold AbsoluteCARE was purchased by Avita Care. AbsoluteCARE has been AbsoluteSHITE for years. I have no idea who Avita Care is but the fact that they purchased this place and and still kept the same staff is all I need to know. A lot of them needed to be fired. Completely checked out, seemed out of breath and bothered to spend 2 minutes in a room, unhealthy themselves and unwilling to discuss preventative health, argumentative. First medical practice Ive ever seen that had PAs starting fights and condoned it. And you can forget trying to get a prescription on time. Their administrators did nothing (and yes they burned through them). They could barely identify any issues and had to have it handfed to them and still could not manage to get anything done. Be prepared to take full control of your health care. Youll have to go in and log on to a computer and do everything for yourself. This company must belong to the people who already work there or maybe just maybe Avita Care will start chopping. They need to clean house.

Patient of Dr. Melton’s for about 10 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and one of few doctors who still knows bedside manner. Great physician and his nurse Wendy is kind, funny and efficient when you are in to see Dr. Melton.

Is it weird to say that I love my PCP? Literally crying happy tears this morning over receiving compassionate, validating care at affordable prices for services I thought I wasn’t going to be able to access. Thank you, AbsoluteCare, for actually caring about your patients.

I love having Terry Hackworth as my PCP; he responds promptly to messages online and gives his undivided attention during appointments. I never feel doubted when I say what care I need. Hackworth and all the staff at AbsoluteCare are kind and respectful; Ive never been misgendered or deadnamed there (even before my name was legally changed), which is very refreshing!

Awful management. This practice...I cannot believe theyre still open. They literally cannot get anything right, from scheduling to prescription refills. And the medical providers have the nerve to be rude on top of it and chastise YOU when you complain about poor treatment. Unbelievable. Admin is checked out, unreachable. There are obviously big problems here which makes me leary about trusting them with anything health-related. If you are looking for a primary care provider, keep looking.

Prescriptions aren’t ready despite texts saying they are, waiting for important prescriptions is never good

Been going to this place for about five years now maybe longer. Dr.Terry is a great doctor takes really good care of me, the staffing is excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who may need a primary care physician.

The doctors and staff treat not just health issues of their patients but support also the confidence and well being of the mind / body experience that we all have…, hence the meaning of the term “Absolute” to describe the service that they provide. Highly recommend making an appointment now, or in the future !!!

Just chose a PCP here in 2022 and thought I made a good decision. Now, in 2023, I need a physical before surgery. According the receptionist, I can’t schedule an appointment to get a physical in 2023. I have to wait until someone cancels. Are you really booked for all of 2023?

Been through at least 8 doctors or nurse practitioners since I started coming here. Can take 2 weeks to get a prescription called in to my pharmacy. Now they collapsed my vein for a 2nd time in a row. Thanks for the unnecessary pain. Each time I come in, they ask us to us to put on a mask they provided that is not N95 - simply a paper mask regardless if we have one on already - and they try to hand us one that isnt individually wrapped with their bare hand so its not sterile. And this is a doctors office??? Speaking of not sterile....

It is a pleasure to come to see my doctor. Doctor Melton is amazing and his nurse Wendy is always willing and able to help whether Im in the office or call in. Its more like family than a doctor/nurse relationship.

I wanted to like this office based off what I saw on Instagram and the supposed inclusion. But all I ever do is wait an extremely long time and then the pharmacy is slow and after waiting for my prescription they tell me I have to go to a CVS. Will definitely be finding another provider

Dr Melton is the reason I am alive and healthy today. He carefully explains any health challenges I may face and outlines a treatment plan. Wendy makes it all happen and always returns my phone calls for prescription refills or treatment questions right away.

Had an appointment at 10:20 AM. Arrived 10:10 and texted to let them know we were here (thats their protocol)It is now 11:22 and no one has replied to text or come out to do the nasal swab test.Walk-ins have been seen and treated while people with appointments waitAbsolutely horrible service. Will never come back unless it is life / death emergency

Serious scheduling problems at the center. Received a call to reschedule an appointment for a physical the day before the appt, the next appointment a week later I received a call the day of the appt to reschedule and they informed me they could not get me on the schedule for another month and a half. Arrived at the 3rd scheduled appointment a month and a half later to be told the PA was scheduled off for the week. I understand with Covid things happen and you have to be flexible, but by the 3rd time that was enough. They claimed they thought someone called me the day before, but I could clearly hear them just calling the PAS other patients for the day to inform them she would not be in. Not acceptable healthcare service

If you’re looking for Covid longhauler treatment, go toCovidlonghaulers.com. Don’t come here. I made the mistake of coming here for Covid longhauler treatment. They’re not up to date on best practices and research for this. They prescribed me an anti-inflammatory diet for the shortness of breath, and essential oils for my loss of smell, but months later when I still had severe shortness of breath and debilitating fatigue, they sent me to a therapist (who was confused why they sent me. The therapist couldn’t help because my condition is not psychological). I even got lab work done (a cytokine panel) that showed I had several issues with inflammatory markers, and this clinic totally blew me off and doubled down on their recommendation of therapy!!! I didn’t know therapy could help out-of-whack cytokines and systemic inflammation triggered by leftover Covid spike proteins!!? Magical.I don’t blame this doctor specifically. And I don’t want to hurt her feelings or call her out when I think it’s actually a problem with doctors more broadly. I’ve been to over 20 doctors in the last year trying to find relief, and it seems that if they don’t know how to fix something, they just blame the patient. It’s all in our heads apparently. Except it isn’t and my body is in a constant state of inflammation, which the blood work proves (not to mention, being 34 and unable to walk to my mailbox without shortness of breath and dizziness is not normal. I was running 3 miles 2-3 times a week before I got a mild case of Covid and now I can’t even walk very far and have to lay several hours a day in bed. And if I don’t rest that long I get dizzy and throw up.) Y’all doctors, this is a real problem. Stop gaslighting longhauler patients. 😡😡 We don’t expect you to have all the answers, but do our mental health a favor and at least acknowledge that we are super sick and you don’t know what’s going on. Telling someone who is super sick that it’s just anxiety and depression is not helpful. And y’all aren’t psychiatrists anyway! You base that claim on absolutely nothing other than your own lack of solutions to the problem.The only clinic who has been able to help me, and ACTUALLY DOES THE RESEARCH, is Dr. Patterson’s clinic, which you can find at Covidlonghaulers.com. Check them out on YouTube too. They’re working on the underlying causes of longhaulers and they won’t waste your money or break your sanity sending you to therapists.

The staff was amazing as usual!! Dr. Brown was very attentive to my needs and Vanessa, his assistant, was extremely helpful as usual!!!I always enjoy my visit!!!

Broken wensite. Mr Doctor does not follow up on placing treatment orders. No good way to communicate with them. A disaster since they changed names.

IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT THEY WILL FIRE YOU AS A PATIENT. JUST BE AWARE. THEY ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF TAKING MONEY, NOT HEALTH CARE. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE MEDICAL BOARD AND SHUT DOWN.

Lorena Williams, NP is one of the best medical professionals Ive ever seen. I am not exaggerating when I say that she saved my life.I went to Absolute Care ≈ 1.5 years ago and saw another PCP (no longer at this location). At first, he dismissed my symptoms and told me to come back after a few months. I came back with the same symptoms and asked to test my endocrine system. He reluctantly agreed and told me two weeks later that I was perfectly fine and I was just obese and lazy.I decided to try Absolute Care again and was scheduled with Lorena. She was kind, welcoming, empathetic, and truly listened. Lorena reviewed my previous test results and discovered that the MD read the results wrong - and there was strong evidence that I had an endocrine disorder. The average cortisol levels in the morning should be between 10-20; my cortisol level at 6am was 1.2.After Lorena assigned more bloodwork, she was able to successfully diagnose me with Hashimotos Disease. She took the extra time to fully explain the diagnosis, discuss multiple medication options, recommended vitamins, and provided an extraordinary amount of recommendations for the AIP diet.2 months later:Reduced pain.Energy levels are much better.Depression reduced.Memory increased.Chronic cough is gone.Skin not bruising easily.Sweating is greatly reduced.33lbs of weight loss!For the first time in years, I started to feel like myself again. Ive come out of a very dark place and cannot express the level of my gratitude for her support. Lorena Williams, NP saved my life.

Trying to call and talk to someone or use the website to refill a prescription never works, I always have to show up in person to get anything done. Your customer service sucks !!!

I have insurance and they denied me treatment telling me my insurance was in eligible I told them that whether I have insurance or not if I’m in treatment you can’t denied me service they denied me then came and told me my insurance is active
