Buckhead Primary and Urgent Care Clinic

I walked into this place and the lady behind the desk Gretchen treated me like I was a number and didnt care about me as a patient or person. I had just driven a nearly an hour and was caught in traffic a few times but when I walked in she simply said to me youre more than 15 minutes late I was 20 minutes late and we have a policy youre going to have to reschedule with QTC do you have their number. Thats the kind of customer service she shows a veteran thats injured thats driving over an hour away and there was no care for me as a person or my time. I dont know why QTC chooses Buckhead primary urgent Care when they clearly dont care about their people all they care about is the money I will never go here again Gretchen should be retrained or fired

Ive been going here since 2010. This place sets the gold standard for healthcare Ive had in the States. Never a wait paste my appointment times. Always friendly, accurate and compassionate care. Ive never had a better experience at another doctors office. GD help you if you go to a Piedmont or Emory clinic.I dont know about the negative experiences a few people had. My experience has always been great with them.

Totally different from my first experience there. Went to the Non Va side for help after a car accident. The energy to get help was so poor and bad I asked for a manager and they sent a PA out. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone that needs help

Worst customer experience ever… I’ve been coming here out of convenience but Monday was the last time. With the ever increasing turnover of employees it’s mind boggling that they can stay in business. Anybody that states this place is the gold standard is obviously out of their mind. Don’t waste your time.

I was a new patient here and my first visit was quick and easy. All of the staff were super friendly and I didn’t have to wait long at all. Antonio at the front desk also did a fantastic job helping me find an appointment time that fit into my busy schedule.

I went to the Buckhead Primary & Urgent Care (1891B) today for a QTC (Veterans) appointment. I was greeted by Rose who was very kind and checked me in. Next, I met Joey who helped with the vitals & exam part of my appointment. Finally, I met PA-C McDonald who answered all of my questions and discussed things in a way I could understand it. If you are a Veteran and have to visit this facility for a QTC appointment, you will be very pleased with this staff. Everyone was very kind, professional, and helpful during my visit and I would highly recommend this facility for treatment!

I go here every month, the clinic is always clean and they have even accommodated getting me in earlier for appointments when i arrived early. sometimes theres a longer wait but it is a doctors office and i understand things can happen last minute emergencies they cant prepare for; however, even if the wait is long they have always gotten me out on time.the doctor took the time to not only review and refill my prescriptions but has also gone out of her way to help me with my skin issues and blood pressure. i didnt even need to schedule an extra appointment. love this place and will continue going back.

Dr. Tim & his PA Kristen are amazing.Went in today for a second opinion and Kristen was patient, a great listener, and did EVERYTHING she could to help me get to feeling better.So grateful for this team!Overall:Wait times are never extreme, the staff is always friendly, and the facility is clean and beautiful!

I have been going to this clinic since it was opened and I have always been given good care. I was initially referred in to the clinic because of my veteran status, but I returned for future care because they took the time to listen and assess me appropriately. The staff is pleasant and the last visit I had, PA Kristen Healy evaluated me and just like my previous evaluations, she was thorough and asked many questions. At my age, I am just glad to find a medical facility where the medical professionals take the time to listen!

I always have an amazing experience here. I lived in West Midtown the past 2 years and have come to the office on 4 separate occasions. They make it easy to schedule an appointment, they help me understand my options whenever I call in. They don’t have long wait times when scheduling an appointment. The PAs I’ve seen are super friendly and knowledgeable. I have since made them my primary provider

If you are going here for a Va c&p exam then request another doctor. They will minimize your problems and not make the service connection to your medical condition. They made the point that plantar factitus and my shoulder condition was not service connected. I later proved them wrong by finding the medical evidence and making that service connection. How dare them to draw that conclusion without knowing. Also I was in and out in 5 minutes and did not do the proper procedure for gathering the right information.

The patient care that I received here was outstanding. Cindy McDonald PA treated my illness and went above and beyond to give me peace of mind about my health. The staff were very pleasant, communicative and even encouraging when I had to receive multiple injections.

First off - I dont typically go to the doctor when Im sick, but this time was pretty bad and I felt I needed to seek medical care. This practice is wonderful. I just walked in (which now a days means quite a long wait), and I was taken back very quickly. I did not wait much longer after that to see the physician. He was extremely thorough and helpful. I actually developed some type of allergic reaction about a week later. I went back and was again taken back almost immediately. They remembered me from my previous visit, and the staff was quick to act. I am a RN and work in a private medical practice. It takes quite a bit to impress me - especially with an urgent/primary care office. Needless to say, I was very impressed. I will definitely be recommending this practice to friends and family.

I had a great experience. I went in to have Covid-19 and Flu test because I having symptoms that could have been either. They not only completed the tests, but did a complete exam to rule out pneumonia. I was provided prescriptions to treat my symptoms and am feeling much better and thankful for the care and time they took with me.

Though the wait was long it was entirely worth it. The staff was accommodating, thoughtful and friendly. The lovely girls at receptions more than answered the questions I had and really helped me with my situation. Maria (I believe was that was her name) was very helpful and thoughtful and made me feel at ease. I was nervous to go to a new clinic and Im so thankful to have found this place. Highly recommended.

Doctors are great and have excellent bedside manner. However, the receptionist is incredibly resistant to move forward with much help and consistently struggles with showing any kind of empathy or understanding.The receptionist would be better suited to being a guard that robs you of any motivation to getting anywhere.Becoming a new patient, setting a same day appointment, or even changing my medicine to a different location has been frustratingly difficult and make becoming a citizen in a new country feel like preschool homework.Reason for the lower score despite the excellent doctors is the questionable leadership that keeps receptionist like her there. I understand that they may need people to be tough, but the lady I interacted with on multiple occasions doesnt even have a molecule if human decency towards me or other patients (according to reviews). If this place were to do better or for even the receptionist to do better I hope the provide training to improve her attitude towards people in general. Heck, itll be a miracle if they could improve her sense of logic too.

I just got off the phone with an April there who after verbally being aggressive and extremely rude said that the doctor would not be able to simply speak to me . Her words actually were Ron said that you cannot talk to him and that you could go somewhere else . Im so sadden by this because Ive enjoyed going to this office for almost 4/5yrs now and Michelle my main doctor has always been so sweet and nice and welcoming and also treated patients like they mattered. Ron who I assume is the doctor I was trying to speak to about our last conversation , was also very pleasant and I only was trying to get clarification on misinformation from my last visit. The APRIL woman in the front..tried to antagonize me and belittle me as if I was not good enough to speak to a doctor. I kept trying to explain to her I simply wanted to speak with my physician BEFORE coming in for a visit and she kept treating me poorly , unkindly, and completely unprofessional. Its very unfortunate for me to have to switch providers over someones extreme prejudice against me for whatever this person had against me. I hope someone reads this and if they choose this clinic. ..ask for Michelle as the doctor..shes lovely . I hope the front staff treats you with respect and decency u like they did me. And as for her claims that RON THE DOCTOR told her to tell me I cannot call in to speak to him and to go to another clinic thats very disappointing. Never underestimate the value of a patient. I will be looking to REPORT this gross misconduct on BBB and STATES MEDICAL BOARD .

I have relied on Dr. Tim and his professional team as my Primary Physicians for many years. I had another great experience today with PA Kristen Healy. She always takes the time to listen to my issues and makes great assessments for treatment. Kristen is very friendly, caring, and extremely experienced and knowledgeable. I truly trust Kristen and I enjoy working with the entire staff at BPCC. I give Kristen Healy my highest recommendations. Thank you for caring for me today Kristen!

To start with, the facility is very clean and well lit. The front office staff were very kind and helpful. The doctor that I saw was very thorough and took his time to answer all my questions and explain everything. I came here for Urgent Care but if I lived closer I would definitely make them my primary care! Everyone was incredibly nice and really tried to help me.

The staff and Kristen Lynn Healy P.A. Are very professional and really provide top shelf patient care. I was very impressed with the service from the front desk check in to the nurse care received at this clinic. This is a very well organized facility.

Completely reckless. My husband went in two weeks ago this Saturday. After ~7 phone calls between my husband and myself we still do not know the results. First they screwed up the paperwork with insurance. The CT scan was cancelled because of it. We called insurance so we could find out what they needed to do to properly do the submission for referral. Called to walk them through it. Didnt hear from them, had to call them twice to see if they had scheduled the appointment. Not once did they follow up when they said they would or do what they said they would do.My husband finally got the ct scan on Monday and I had to call two times today to get a follow up from the Doctor. Both calls they said they would call my husband and now theyre closed without any follow up. My husband has been in pain now for over two weeks waiting to find out what he should do next. They are nice to your face but honestly could care less about your health. Its such a shame because when my husband left the office initially he was singing their praises.Telling me they have patients is not a reason its an excuse. My husband is still their patient and they get walk ins. So unless you need a flu shot go somewhere else. No seriously, this has been a nightmare and I pray this isnt going to be something serious. I almost wish we just went to the emergency room.

The physicians assistant is AWESOME and so was the guy that checked the vitals!Overall I have no complaints. Friendly and quick service with a smile, what more can one ask for.If you are looking for a clean favility, with exceptional service give them a try.

Worst customer service! Called to ask if they provided certain types of test, and before I could ask, they interrupted me and tired to turn me away. Even after finding out that they do have the test that I was looking for, they referred me to the website to make an appointment. If you need a place with amazing service go to WestsideMed.

From the time I drove up, the staff were very attentive, friendly and very supportive. I was in a lot of pain from my ankle injury and I was able to be seen without waiting long. The office is very clean and everyone waiting was masked. I would recommend this urgent care. Thank you ladies for all you do!

I like to go were feel My pets are being helped and cared for but this was not that place. I’ll start off by saying that the staff was friendly but they are definitely a business that prioritizes getting more money out of your pocket than actually helping your pet. I came in with a sneezing kitten and he tried charging me like $800 to get him right. Don’t go unless serious emergencies. I’ll say everything from the beginning now.I called their office and asked their receptionist what their wellness check up fee was. He replied “$110” I got there one hour later and upon reviewing the quote well here’s the breakdown:X-ray $290Ear cleaning $40Check ear for infection $60Emergency visit $110That was the initial quote not yet including the medicine. So as you can see the $110 I was told was the check up fee didn’t even include him checking my pet. It was just to see the doctor then the doctor literally charges for every service and recommends the most so he can charge more. I negotiated hundreds of $$$ off and still paid $420 and I came in because my kitten was sneezing and I told him I was tight on funds yet that didn’t effect anything.Banfield charges $40/month and they include vaccines X-rays and unlimited check ups. This place is only good for emergencies I came expecting to spend no more than $300 and it was way too much for treating a simple cold. Also they seem to charge double than the competition on every level.I saw their same medicine for $30 on chewy.com and they sold me the same antibiotics for $60. Their not cheap and it doesn’t seem like an honest practice to me, just money hungry. My cat isn’t that common, he’s a completely hairless elf sphynx that I just bought for $1600. I’ve only had him a month and because I chose this clinic instead of another one my initial costs for him are now over 2k. Sorry but in my opinion if you charge that much for a cold what will you charge for something more serious.

My experience at the 1891 Howell Mill Rd clinic was terrible. I booked an appointment but still had to wait an hour to be seen. After my visit I was told that the wait for my lab results was supposed to be 3-5 business days. I called after 3 days and was told that they werent ready and a doctor would call me when they were available. I waited three more business days and after hearing nothing I gave them a call. They told me my results over the phone. I was frustrated since they had my results but didnt bother to call me. Feeling a bit suspicious I asked them to send me the results. They said they couldnt because they dont have a secure email portal. I then paid them a visit to go over my results with a doctor. The doctor told me everything was okay. I asked for clarification on something in the lab paperwork and the doctor made me wait for 30 minutes while she found out more information.She later told me that the lab lost my specimen but I could resubmit a sample. The lab paperwork said they received a sample but never ordered a test. I feel like the clinic lied to cover their negligence. At this point I was so frustrated that I walked out.This is easily one of the worst experiences Ive ever had at a doctors office in my entire life. I could deal with a long wait if the service was good or vice versa. But to ask for someone deal with a long wait followed by ineptitude in the doctors office is a bit much.

Great location , available parking, short wait time But the women at the front desk who checked us in wasn’t welcoming at all. No smile and short. I work in healthcare so how you welcome and greet your potential patients are critical. The young lady that collected the labs and Dr or NP were very nice and made us feel welcomed.

I reached out to this urgent care at 2:40pm (I live literally across the street) with an extremely painful kidney stone involving nausea, fever, severe pain, vomiting, and swelling along with lower back pain. If they close at 3pm they should correct their hours. They should also look into the tone of their receptionist. Overall, they don’t care about their patients and have lost my business

I absolutely love this place. Ive seen a few of the doctors here and theyve all been wonderful, the girls running the desk are the best, and the wait time is pretty quick (especially since I never said an appointment and always just walk in). Also they have their own parking lot which is always a plus in Atlanta and its right off the highway. Ive been coming here for about 2 years now, even after moving I try to schedule any doctors appointments with them while Im visiting Atlanta.

The service was superb! Fast, friendly and professional. The Doc was professional, caring, a good listener and cool. The 2 ladies in front were welcoming and quick! Although I was sick but felt much better afterwards! Love this place. Its now my primary care location!

So 4 weeks ago I went in here due to a work related injury that I still have not recovered from. Of course my employer needed some papers filled out which i brought in and dropped off. Fast forward to today, now two weeks later in which I couldnt even get a call back from these folks so I go in and set up an appointment only to have Dr Nguyen refuse to fill them out and kick me out of the facility telling me to never come back, stating that it is against their policy to fill those forms out. Of course that was the first I had heard of such an insane policy as refusing to fill out papers when an employer wants to look into the treatment ordered by the doctor. So now Im in a position where my employer cannot validate the reasons behind the treatment (in my case a need to stay off the injured leg and not be at my physically demanding job). As a result I am likely going to either loose my job, or see some other serious repercussion from my employer . The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because the rest of the staff have been amazing and suuper kind. So basically, just skip this clinic and go to any one of the 800000 other clinics near by. Dr Nguyen is a complete and total (expletive deleted) and has probably cost me my employment cause I sure as hell cant go back in time and do what Im advising everyone else to do.

My husband and I have been to this practice several times and are extremely pleased with the efficiency and consideration of the doctors here. They are very kind and do not make light of anything. I particularly have been impressed with Dr. Vladimir Odinets as he has seen both my husband and myself on multiple occasions. We are considering using this practice not only for our own primary care but also for pediatric care for both our young children. Cant say enough good things!

I guess my complaints are fairly common for this office. They dont want to refill prescriptions without a doctor visit every time, even medication that is non habit forming and that is taken consistently over many years. Also the woman on the phone was RUDE. And the Dr. wont talk to you on the phone. When I met him in person he seemed like a cool guy but the office procedures and people hes built around him are NOT COOL and I dont recommend.

Kristen Healy is the best! shes always professional and very helpful I’ve been going to Buckhead Primary Care for years and have referred many of my friends. The whole office staff really feels like family!!! I highly recommend Buckhead Primary Care!!

Im from SC but staying in Buckhead for the weekend. I cut my hand yesterday and on the trip here I sent my cousin a pic and he recommended stitches. I called here and they said to come. They looked at pics on my phone before undressing cut and wasting my time. They said they could and should stitch it up. 40 minutes and 6 stitches later I was back in my car. Very friendly people. Fun too. I didnt wince in pain or react at all to any pain. They clearly know what they are doing. Best stitches Ive ever received. Ill use them for any doctoring needed on any of my frequent future trips to this area.

The best primary and urgent care facility in Midtown, seriously. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful. The doctors are super attentive and actually listen to you rather than making an at-a-glance diagnosis. The facility itself is clean and comfortable. Love Buckhead Primary Care!!

After a rude and unpleasant experience at Wellstar/Piedmont I went to seek this place out. I was slightly wary, but had a great experience. They took me in quickly as a walk in urgent care patient, were courteous, and responsive. I will be back and am considering using them as primary too. I like the small practice and not having to endlessly wait like most primary care places now.

DO NOT COME HERE. We all deserve accurate, professional and personable medical treatment, but you will not find it here. My boyfriend and I found the same strange bumps on our skin and we went to Buckhead Primary Care together to get them checked out. We both had blood drawn to send to the lab but the physicians assistant diagnosed us that same day with a serious STD, with unwavering certainty. She even prescribed my boyfriend with medication which he began taking immediately. Fast-forward 5 days later we learn that both our results came back NEGATIVE for this STD. No apologies for MISDIAGNOSIS, MISPRESCRIBED MEDICATION already taken, and no attempt to follow-up on the skin bump condition, which was the original reason for our visit. Extremely unprofessional and troubling that the practice was so unconcerned for our physical and mental health after misprescribing medicine and causing us high anxiety/emotional stress from misdiagnosis.Last but not least, the receptionist is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. She was hostile and unkind across every single interaction we had with her, which includes the visit and several phone calls we had to make to the office to obtain our test results. There are so many other primary care clinics in ATL who will take your physical and mental wellness seriously. This is not one of them.

I called this place before visiting just to make sure that they accepted my insurance. After the receptionist confirmed that they in fact took my insurance, she stated that I would need to make an appointment before I could see an urgent care doctor. Huh? Isnt that totally opposed to the reason that most people go to an urgent care clinic? After questioning why I would need an appointment at an urgent care facility, she then proceeded to change her story and tell me that me this UC office was not open to the public. Im not sure why, but the person I spoke with on the phone did her darnedest to keep me from visiting the clinic.

I actually felt cared for at this urgent care. I reported a pain in my side and they got straight to the problem diagnosing a UTI with a urine test first thing rather than wasting time with questions first then the pee test. The male doctor was very quick and empathetic. RECOMMEND this place.

Very happy with my experience here. The process to get in was simple and organized and quick. Ceecee was the best when i had to have blood drawn, i usually pass out but she made it painless! The NP was super knowledgeable and eager to help/answer any questions. The Olympic Team of urgent cares, thank yall.

We called the location they said walk ins welcome from 8-5. We arrived at 4:20. There is not a single person in there but the receptionist was getting ready to leave and said that they take their last patient at 3:30 because there is a lot of paperwork to fill in! During this scary time of covid, they would rather have someone go to the ER than help them in a day when they don’t have a single patient. It was so upsetting!

VETERANS BEWARE, I was taken to the Buckhead Clinic by my son, (31 January 2022) referred by OTC for a physicians review of my claim. I was seen but not examined, as PA K. Healy stood by the door, in no way did she examine any part of my body, nor touch me in any way to examine me, she said she wrote the VA medical report based on hypothetical situations because I was in a wheelchair. She blatantly lied on my paperwork, stating she measured my knee at a specified angle, which did not occur. PA Healy never even took her measuring tool out of her pocket, which was visibly sticking out. She stated obviously I can use this as she waved the measuring tool and then stuck is halfway in her pocket. Now based upon her blatant lie & hypothetical report and unprofessionalism I need to appeal the decision VA made based upon a lie. How could any PA Healy lie on such important medical documents which can adversely affect the life of a Veteran? If you are a Veteran, I would advise you NOT to be seen by PA Healy or go to another clinic which will evaluate you properly and not hypothetically. If PA Healy could not conduct the examination she should have so stated and recommeneded that I get an examination when I was no longer in a cast. This would have been honest and acceptable but a hyperthetical report is just that someones hypothesis & not what the VA is asking for nor the patient. BEWARE

The receptionist I spoke with was the most unfriendly unprofessional and rude woman I think I’ve ever dealt with. I called regarding a question on a refill for medicine and was completely embarrassed and made to feel stupid and helpless over the phone. My first experience was wonderful there, but after that experience I do not recommend.

I come here every time i am feeling ill but it’s not too serious for me to see my Primary Care. They are super nice and helpful! Drs. are amazing and best of all I get in and out of the office!

Terrible service, insane turnover of staff and NPs, and they dont have accurate business hours. They stop seeing patients at 4:30, and stop collecting lab specimens at 4. I have visited here many times in the past but wont be coming back as theyve wasted far too much of my time.

First time here and super friendly staff. Healthcare staff are super knowledgable and explained things very well. I would definitely recommend this place over some of the other urgent cares in Buckhead. I was seen by Maurice. Prompt service also.

Best urgent care ever and Im very serious about that. Fast service, front desk is very friendly, and doctor is very easy to talk to and very helpful. I just found my new doctor.

I sat in the examining room for 40 minutes and finally walked out. Bedside manner was good but thats where it ended. I could hear two others come in be seen and leave. I will never come here again. Especially for a simple cough.

Dont go for a covid test unless youre already a patient here. They will charge you $131 for a new patient office visit for a free covid test. Just FYI.

The doctors here are all kind and very knowledgable. More importantly, the wait time is nil. Perfect for my busy lifestyle where I dont have time to wait 30+ minutes to be seen.

I have been calling since Aug of 2017 to find out about a claim that they never submitted which needed to be done for my employment. Each time I call its we are using a new system and it should be a month. It is now 2018 and I still havent heard anything different. I never heard of a new system taking 6 months to be up and running.

Awfull service, they dont have an online portal and would not email the lab result either. After the second time of visiting the dr and going through two lab tests, the secretory did not let me to talk a minute over the phone with Dr. They are asking to visit dr for the third time for something that dr himself told me to call about!

Awesome staff was super nice and Doctor was even more amazing. Got there at 5.15pm and left at 5.45pm fast service doctor gave me the right medicine. Thank you Doctor nyugen your awesome

Ive called 4 times, each time get put on hold immediately. After I waited for 20 minutes someone simply hang up. We wont get to find out if the place is good or not because of terrible customer service on the phone.

I️ wouldn’t recommend this place. I’d been going here for two years, came down with a serious virus that kept me out of work for a week. They absolutely REFUSE to complete my FMLA paperwork to support me in keeping my job.FMLA is a worker right, but without the doctors information you can’t submit it. Never going back to this place again.

This place is the worst. The service and follow-up are horrible. Find a better PCP.

They charge ~$150 for an “office visit fee” if you come in for a COVID-19 test (on top of the price of the test itself). Go elsewhere and save money.

Horrible place, had to travel for three months to outside of the mainland where no in network physicians and they refused to send refill to my closest cvs saying that I have to visit them, while most of other physicians let me visit once in 3 months.

In an age of medicine where theres a constant mentality of Here, take this pill, it was refreshing to be offered common sense alternatives first before an attempt to hand over a prescription.

If you need a covid test dont come here .Went in for a covid test before my flight and was told I had to pay $133 for it
