So I recently applied for giving my donation and got a email saying I cant donate. Asking questions on why I cant donate they told me that I dont have an collage degree. They said they accepted only %3 of applications, %3 of the population not even scratching the surface, but u can give plasma to help sick people and they dont ask for collage degree so why is this a world wide donation place. That proves to me that the government only looking for non-black people and only looking for the Whites. Its a damn shame what this world is coming to.

Originally, this bank looked like the best. We were pleased with the genetic testing and screening process, as well as the opportunity to see pictures of donors. The shipping was fast; we didnt have any issues there. However, after three tries with this company, I cannot stress enough how much I DO NOT recommend them. All three of our samples were below their quoted amount and what our fertility clinic labeled as poor samples. The last sample was so poor that our fertility clinic filed for a refund for us - something that Xytex customer support (not the lab techs, but the actual costumer service representatives) has been awful about during the entire process.Three samples with two different donors, and service representatives that are rude during a financially and emotionally stressful time. Please, go somewhere else.

Three years ago we got Pregnant with our beautiful twins. Communication was top notch. I could email back and forth as I have a busy career. We are back at it again, and using Xytex. Once again the customer service is wonderful. We are glad we started with them, and blessed to be parents because of donor companies like them.

Its been 3 months since we made the complaint and my wife submitted the review about 3 out of 4 vials are completely of poor quality - extreme low sperm counts and way below standard motility. The staff there said they will follow up personally on our case. no feedback or refund whatsoever. Dont buy from them. The infertility treatment is hard enough. You dont need to deal with a substandard company. Happy to share our reports and experience if anyone wants to find out more about what we went through and the hell Xytec had put us through.

Initially things went well. The vials we purchased had high counts and seemed worth the price. When we first chose our donor, there were 70+ vials. We ordered 6 total, and upon visiting the site to purchase more, less than 2 weeks later, the donor was sold out. The company does not bother to disclose that a donor is retired. We are so frustrated, if we had known all the information up front, our choices would have been different. We are coping with what we have, but it seems deceitful to not include vital information like that. They arent helpful at all when you call either, just sorry, no options for you.

We ordered 4 virals from them. Thawed 3 so far and each of them were way below the promised standard, motility rate was below 8% when the standard is 32% and the total amount ranged from 3-500k instead of the million they promised. Our clinic applied for refunds for all of them - yet to be processed after 3 months still. All viral came from the same donor and processed on the same date. As we are living overseas and cant travel at the moment we even paid $2.3kUSD for importing and shipping. On top I went through 3 cycles of injections and medication plus all the other costs involved to find out the quality is just way too poor to give us a chance of pregnancy. The emotional damage is way worse than the financial. Dont put yourself through... We thought we picked the most expensive sperm bank to get the quality that we hoped, but no... please dont torture yourself by picking this company as they wont even respond to you when you ask them about the rest of the virals after the 1st one was proved to be poor.

I was diagnosed with brain cancer approximately 2.5 yrs ago. I was told that were was a possibility that the chemotherapy (a drug called Matulane) would severely limit my ability to create sperm. I am very very grateful for the kind ladies at Xytex. I stored 6 vials before treatment began, and sure enough after chemo, my sperm was non-existent. It was devastating for me - again the ladies that worked there were very empathetic. I just thank heavens that I did have my sperm stored. Theyve also been extremely good to work with in terms of shipping and preparing it for fertilization treatments. Thank you Xytex!

Choosing the other half of your future child(ren)’s DNA is something that requires a lot of thought. First thought being, do I want to provide the child the opportunity to explore this other DNA set when they’re 18? How much information do you want on the donor, are photos important, is a voice recording important? Then you have the medical questions; what’s the CMV factor, what type of vials are available? When we selected our donor we looked at many other sperm banks but when we came to Xytex we fell in love with many of the donors but ours in particular we found a true connection with. Xytex gave us, an open donor. Xytex gave us both a childhood photo and two adult photos. We had a personal essay from the donor and although there was no voice with the essay you could hear the type of person this man was come through his writing. He shared similar life passions to ours, he shared similar features to my side of the family even down to his “big ears.” Xytex’s customer service was impeccable when we called to request our vials and have continued to help us along the way whether via email, live chat, or phone. They’re real people, not outsourced. Now that we have our beautiful son we take full advantage of their xyconnect site that allows parents who’ve used the same donor connect should they want. So far we’re in touch with 6 of the 8 families who’ve registered. As with a successful company prices will fluctuate as time moves on, that’s just business, however they continue to have a large pond of swimmers to chose from and continue to help many families make their dreams of being parents become a reality. I have many friends who’ve used them and have beautiful children because of their help! I’m so thankful for this company helping us to bring our son into the world, and look forward to using them again for round two!

Horrible company they promised me overnight shipment and I even paid extra for 10 am delivery. I told them in advance that if they can not guarantee the order on time I am not putting it in. They said they could. Then the next day it didnt arrive on time and as a result the procedure got cancelled. I called and they did not take any responsibility. Horrible company. If ever you have issues with them they take responsibility and blaming it on others !

For a place with such poor track record they are really expensive. They never have promotional codes like other well known banks like fairfax or California Cryo.

The online chat is always accessible and they have great customer service. Very helpful through email as well as prompt.

First, the site has difficulty working with dates. So the people in charge write to us to find out when we would like the sample and it takes longer than we are told. Our samples were also taken in Toronto due to poor communications between companies. Upon purchasing our second samples we were told this would be sent on Tuesday. On Monday we are asked to confirm for shipment only the following Friday. He doesnt respect what they say and this has delayed our processes.
