ERC Comprehensive Clinic

We at MVC have been working toward a new initiative to provide comprehensive sexual health information and items for our patients. ERC has been a tremendous help on our quest to providing those services to our patients. They have sent our clinic hundreds of condoms for us to give out to our patients and offered HIV testing for our patients as well. Since we are in the south, we are working toward making our patients more comfortable with talking about the uncomfortable and ERC has been excellent in providing needed services to make that happen. We highly suggest reaching out to them for any questions and services you may need.

As a health professional who’s seen and experienced the worst of the healthcare system, experiencing this phenomenal team of professionals is refreshing. Angel at the front desk was so pleasant. I’ll be sure to return here for my women wellness needs.

I have been going to ERC for over 15 years. This place is amazing. I Dont even go any where else but here. I love the staff how professional & helpful they are Antonio, & Joshua receptionist are awesome. And Milly the intake nurse is Exceptional. Im giving 5 stars. Oh and by the way it is so clean here. Cleaner then any clinic I have stepped foot in. Im happy 😊

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE 10/10HIGHLY RECOMMENDI genuinely couldn’t wait to post this review because everyone needs to know about this phenomenal facility (even though i really want to gate keep because everyone was just amazing)from THE MOMENT I called the office. JuJu (love you boo) was amazing. assisted with scheduling me in for a SAME DAY appointment. Angel at the front desk was just incredible, so pleasant. the facility is clean, and very welcoming, validated parking, right next to the hard rock cafe in a beautiful busy area of atlanta. I’m honestly surprised it wasn’t packed. LOOK NO FURTHER PEOPLE! just trust me.my provider Kate was just splendid, i can’t say enough nice things about her. she listened to my every concern, was so kind and sincere with her response, no judgement, and truly made me feel like she cared i couldn’t ask for a better health care provider. THANK YOU ALL! so much, i truly appreciate my experience here. the epitome of excellent healthcare, im so thankful to have found you all

I had the best experience at ERC clinic! From the time I called and spoke to Ms. Angel and she provided the best service and information to visiting and experiencing the best in person care by Millie. Overall it was a 10/10!

These people are absolutely wonderful! All women and even men need to come and get there testing done here! Very good information and knowledge.Miss Opa and Miss Angel in the front desk check-in has beautiful personalities, customer service, professional attitudes, and on top of that Dr. Lauren and her assistant Miss Millie was Awesome in the back office! Millie did my blood draw and it was no pain! I am definitely referring this organization to people! They make you feel comfortable and your information is very secure and private! Im definitely coming back for my follow-up!

I was treated very pleasantly from the moment I entered ERC. They saw to me promptly and did not deny me access even though I arrived late and did not have my paperwork fully completed. The nurse was very knowledgeable and informed me about what would happen prior to and during my check up. They even validated my parking 🙌🏾 I would highly recommend!

First of all these folks are literally my friends lol. They do such a good job at balancing the personal with the professional and make my experience coming here to be proactive about my reproductive health-10/10 enjoyable. Millie and Joshua always have a smile on their face when greeting patients and their guests and Lauren was intentional and inclusive of my changing gender identities. Antonina was very collaborative with empowering me to make decisions about my body. And Antonio is very knowledgeable about the various processes of the clinic and in keeping patients informed. Love it hereeee.

I visited ERC for my annual flu shot, and I had an incredible visit. I was greeted with a warm smile by Antonio and received amazing service by Lauren. My shot was painless and very quick. I would highly recommend ERC for any service.

I have been a customer of Empowerment Resource Center for several years. Its always important to know your status and all the staff and everyone at ERC makes getting check-ups and HIV/STD testing a total breeze. I would like to recognize, in particular, Ron -- always helpful and polite, Smella -- greets you with a smile that you can feel on the phone and even better in person, and Lauren -- an AMAZING practitioner who truly cares about her patients. This is a great clinic and team.

This place has amazing customer service! Everyone greeted me with a smile (even the person on the phone that I called). This location is very convenient & even though it’s a doctor’s office they make you feel at home. Thank you for taking care of me on my travels! 💚

Extremely nice and professional facility. The empowerment resource center is located in a building on peach tree. The only obstacle you will possibly have is finding it. Every employee is respectful and adds to the safe ambience you experience during your visit. I highly recommend this location.

What a wonderful place for “awkward” healthcare needs.My insurance (which is really good!) was denying my injections for an antibiotic and the pharmacy was quoting a cost of $400. $400 for an antibiotic that I’d then have to take to my doctor to get injected.The pharmacy suggested Empowerment after I balked at the price and asked to shop around. I called, the receptionist was super nice and knowledgeable for what to me, is an awkward situation to be in. Add in that I travel for work; and they had availability in a couple hours! I was sold. I wanted it done now.Took Marta as their office is literally next to the Peachtree Center station and couldn’t be more convenient if Marta is an option.The staff was absolutely wonderful. They could converse and have a good time to really calm your nerves. The injection hurt pretty bad and I got nauseous; but they quickly called in someone to help that could handle how big I am, should I need assistance.Other than the actual shot; I surprisingly had a good time here!The best part: my cost was $400+ and they charged $55 for everything.Can’t recommend this place enough! What a fun?, wonderful experience!

This facility is amazing, I have no insurance and was looking for a reasonable place to be seen giving my recent test results. I made a call and spoke to Opal she was a great help through this whole process from the time I spoke with her on the phone until my appointment day. A very clean and professional establishment.

Cannot believe what I just went through as I’m still trying to make sense of it. I went through something terrible and was transferred from an organization that provided services free of charge. I was able to manage to get together money to pay $130 to this company for their PEP services. We had been in contact since Tuesday. I was super thankful as this whole ordeal had been stressful. I let them know ahead of time I didn’t have insurance that was valid in the state of GA. I let the office supervisor know specifically, as well as the receptionist. There were no problems at first. I reiterated for the 5th time that I didn’t have insurance in the stare of the GA. The doctor (Lauren) was attentive and understanding! Hats off to her for making me feel so comfortable in a situation that was the absolute worst. There was one issue though. My insurance. As I had thought. She apologized and said they’d refund my money. She was super nice about it. Later, the office supervisor (Deborah) called, was snarky and told me they would not be giving my money back because it covered the doctors appointment. And not the program. I get that. However I applied and paid for the doctors appointment because the receptionist told me I’d qualify for the program. Even when I mentioned me not having any insurance in the state of GA. If anyone had stated I wouldn’t qualify for the program because of my insurance status, I would’ve never applied. I applied and paid because they said I did qualify and would be able to get PEP ! Nonetheless, their own doctor saw an issue and told me I’d qualify for a refund. However, Deborah has thought otherwise. So now im out of $130 and time, which both are extremely precious in a situation like mine. Overall, im hurt. Where’s the empowerment?UPDATE: I did speak with a Ms. Tanesha and had the issue resolved. I loved the way she handled things and they seemed to have had miscommunication amongst each other. Overall, I did go through something disheartening that was a bother. But they did call back and make it right. I appreciate that more than ever. Thank you.

I love it here! Staff are extremely nice & helpful, with ample resources & knowledge to support a safe sexual lifestyle. Process is easy & quick, and this is the only place I get tested. Make an appointment because they’re here to help!

Opal and Angel were the nicest ladies at the front ever. Very quick service!! And not to mention the lady who took my blood was awesome and the nurse. I’ve found my home! :)

The women at empowerment were phenomenal! Deborah, opal, kayanna, and dr Allain really made my process smooth. They took very good care of me and helped me through the process.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The women that answer the phones are snarky, rude and are of no help. This is what you guys call a womens empowerment center???? Wow. Didn’t feel heard, helped or empowered talking to her or any of the other women I’ve had the DISPLEASURE of speaking with in the past. I used to come here when I couldn’t get to my regular OB. NOW!?! this place is no longer a safe space in my opinion. Which is sad cause they were close to my home and post pandemic was great. Now? Smh. Sad to see the service take such a sad horrible unhelpful turn. Hope y’all begin to do BETTER. Smh. Sad.

I was nervous about my appointment initially. However, the staff were welcoming and kind and the nervousness went away fairly soon. I look forward to visiting again!

A place that truely cares the staff was very kind to me, i would donate to them in the future. It is truely important the work that they do. They gave me a peace of mind because not knowing of having HIV and swearing that you might have it can be very tormenting. They are a light in the dark
