I hope WellStar gets this clinic together. I had the worst experiences here. The students were frequently running the show. The waiting area is tiny. Last time I was in the entire facility was outdated. Ive had other providers tell me their patients have had the worst experiences and they would recommend they go anywhere other than this clinic. As for myself I would rather drive 2 or 3 hours than go here again.

Don’t waste your time or money here. They don’t care if u get pregnant or not. There is no communication. You will meet a new student every visit. Seems as if no one knows what’s going on. Can’t get front desk to answer. Wasted two years, two iui and a lot of money on nothing!

We have been seeing Dr. Jordan for about a month now due to infertility issues. She has guided us through every step of the way with clear direction and explanation of each process and procedure. Dr. Jordan has given us hope and answers that we have been waiting 1.5 years for. The SIS procedure was very beneficial to us! Each time we go into the office we are greeted with friendly faces by the most wonderful staff. I always feel like they are looking out for not only my best interest, but the best interest for my family. Nurse Latanya is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I have quite a phobia of needles and blood work, which requires me to lay down to get blood drawn. She was very understanding, considerate, compassionate, and distracted me through each blood draw with her lovely personality and amazing nursing skills. It was the best experience I have ever had at a doctors office. I cannot recommend Dr. Jordan, her staff, nurse Latanya, and the clinic itself more.

No sensitivity, no communication and no care. After waiting 4 months for appointment, the doctor did not ask me why I was there, ignored me when I was talking, dismissed me when I told them why I had come, the doctor suddenly decided not to do an exam - when I sounded surprised and asked for one they practically threw the gown at me and told me to get changed. They rushed me through any time with me despite being made to wait over 1.5hrs in the exam room. They ordered some blood tests and did not explain anything to me before rushing to end the day.I had to ask the receptionist what on earth the doctor had ordered so I could explain it to my insurance. No sensitivity, no care. Will not be back. Do not recommend.

Dr. Jordan has the magic touch! After 2 failed IUIs from another Dr, my wife and I decided to try at home inseminations for a while. After this didnt work it was back to the IUI route. Dr. Brakta explained everything throughout the process and did a few more tests than the other Dr. When insemination time came around Dr. Jordan and a nurse came into the office on Sunday and let my wife push the plunger :).Finally growing our family in 2024 thanks to AU!

Dr. Jordan and her entire team made my family’s dreams a reality. They provided extensive education, support, options, and access to these critical reproductive health services. I spent 2 years there as a patient and it was not easy physically/emotionally/financially but Dr. Jordan never gave up on my case and her fellows were also very committed to my health goals. I could always get in contact with a nurse via email to email my many questions/concerns and ensure I had my meds on time. I am so thankful for Dr. Jordan’s expertise and dedication to her profession. She is very knowledgeable and candid which I appreciate so much so we didn’t waste time and resources. Highly recommend this practice!

Everyone in the office was very nice and pleasant including front desk, medical assistants, and nurses. I am so thankful for Dr. Jordan. She’s very knowledgeable. She may seem stern but she has a soft side. She was so happy for us when we “graduated”. Be prepared to get a lot of information. She wants you to prepared for the next steps.Let’s not forget about Dr. Theisen. My husband and I LOVED him. He is so easygoing, has great bedside manners, and compassionate. We were truly blessed to have a great team cheering for us.

If you are queer or trans (or chronically ill/disabled) I cannot recommend enough that you go to this clinic for gender affirming care, or any reproductive healthcare. After the transphobia and discrimination that Ive faced by doctors and hospitals in the augusta/mcduffie area, coming to this clinic was a breath of fresh air. Every single staff member I came into contact with was both knowledgable about and indescribably respectful of the trans community. My name and pronouns were respected by every single person in this office, without question and without hesitation. There was not a single second of my appointment that I was scared of being discriminated against or not taken seriously because Im queer and trans, or because of my complex disabilities. There was no stigma, no shame, and no judgement. Not only is this the safest that I have ever felt in a doctors office as a queer and trans person in the south, but every person on staff here is beyond competent and knowledgeable, and seem to genuinely care, want to help, and enjoy being here. This was my first appointment at this clinic and they took the time to take a comprehensive medical history and family medical history as well as listen to all of my concerns. I was never made to feel stupid, every step of my care was explained in detail to me, and all of my questions were answered.Ive had dozens of doctors appointments over the past couple of years with doctors that have treated me like nothing more than a paycheck for them, and even more appointments where doctors were openly transphobic against me or I felt I had to hide my identity to recieve appropriate care. The ONLY bad thing I could say about this clinic, the staff, or my appointment here is that the physical building is a bit of a tight squeeze if youre in a particularily wide or large wheelchair, but every staff member here went out of their way to move furniture and make space to accomadate me as needed. And, of course, it being a bit tight in my wheelchair doesnt reflect at all on the incredible, kind, respectful, and competent nurses, doctors, and front desk workers at this clinic. If you want a medical team that genuinely cares about you, listens to you, and respects you in every faucet of your identity, (but especially queer and trans people looking for a medical team that you know are wholehearted allies), go to this clinic. If you want to feel seen and heard as a patient, go to this clinic. If you want comprehensive, judgement and stigma free healthcare, go to this clinic. And to everyone who works here, you guys have set a whole new standard for how I expect and deserve to be treated by medical professionals. The kindness and respect yall treated me with today is going to stay with me for a long time, and for the first time in my life Im not dreading my follow up appointment.

We‘ve been so blessed to have been patients of Dr Jordan, nurse coordinator Stacy, and the rest of her team. We have a beautiful baby boy!!After a long battle with my fertility issues (moderate endometriosis and associated inflammation), we finally graduated from her clinic back in April. After 6 IVF treatments - 2 retrievals, 6 transfers over the past few years - we finally fell pregnant in March, giving birth 2 weeks ago.Unusual for someone my age to have this much difficulty, Dr Jordan didn’t give up!! We really appreciated Dr Jordan’s holistic approach. In addition to using evidence-based protocols, she recommended me a particular anti-inflammatory diet, and anxiety and stress management.Nurse coordinator, Stacy, was the glue that bonded us together, communicating instructions clearly to us and answering all my inquiries to her and to Dr. Jordan in a professional and timely manner. The rest of the team - all the different nurses and residents we encountered in our journey - were all friendly and supportive.Dr. Jordan’s optimism and encouragement cheered us on along each process. However she will be real with you if she is concerned a treatment path is unlikely to work. When she got real with us that she was starting to doubt IVF as a viable treatment for us and to consider surrogacy as an option after one last attempt; she was gentle and compassionate about it.We also were grateful for Dr. Jordan’s patience in answering our inquiries. The clinic is busy, but we never felt rushed. Most importantly, we really appreciated Dr Jordan’s flexible and budget-friendly approach. We asked for an updated HSG test which she agreed. After no red flags from that, we decided to give IVF transfer in me one last try. But we asked if she would include into this last protocol medications I found that other IVF clinics are using. She reviewed the list of meds I sent and agreed to include some of them, stating they are no longer evidence-based but were affordable and are unlikely to have bad side-effects, so it wouldn’t hurt.Dr. Jordan is not just one who does an excellent job, she’s clearly passionate and dedicated, and is outstanding as a result. We still have a few embryos left and we are hoping at least one more will take to be a sibling to our lil’ boy one day. If we were to move cross-country tomorrow, we would still go to see her.

Dr. Jordan and her staff are amazing. Stacy answered every question and concern I ever had, and she responded in a timely manner. Stacy, Dr. Jordan and the Attendings were very caring and attentive when I could have ended up in the hospital. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience because now I have my baby boy. On the flip side- the Lab is a little slack

Im currently receiving fertility treatment at Dr. Jordan’s office. The IVF program that they have is incredible.Dr. Jordan is a phenomenal doctor. She always goes above and beyond to ensure that my husband and I understand the IVF steps and answers all our questions. In addition, Stacy (IVF coordinator) is such a great asset to the office. She always keeps us inform of our lab results and next steps. She is very down to earth and always calls back when we have left her a voicemail with questions.I will definitely recommend this office to anyone. The way they treat patients is worth the 2:30 hour drive from Atlanta.

I have never had a doctor that took time to listen and set a plan and write down every step of the way for me. I have never felt that a doctor has the genuine care Dr.layman does for his patients (or Atleast me). I would drive any distance to see him again. Amazing doctor and nurses that work with him. Overall seeing a fertility doctor is stressful and heartbreaking but I do not think I could have had a better experience than what I had here! Highly recommended.

Sadly I have no choice but to go here because it is the only place the VA has a contract with for me to go to. I think they know it too because all I feel like is a paycheck to them. I did 8 rounds of fertility treatments with another clinic in TX which resulted in my daughter yet when I come here my protocol was to start all over at step one AGAIN! $$$$$ I know what worked and what didnt work, and yes I know I did not go to school and I am not the doctor but why do I feel like I have no say in the process?Next issue, the last two times I had an appointment I was told it was at 8 am and to show up 15 mins early I did, BOTH TIMES and BOTH TIMES I got seen around 930. The first time the doctor got stuck in traffic which is funny and she didnt even arrive to the office until 9. The 2nd time I got there around 730 and the doctor was scheduled for surgeries and not there once again, my only lucky break was that the other doctor who was actually out on vacation just happened to stop by the office and did the exam. Fast forward the same day, I called the office easily 5 times left a message and the doctor that is supposed to care for me as a patient has not made the time to discuss with me what we need to do.Infertility is troubling enough, it is emotionally exhausting but this is depressing and leaving me in tears just trying to work with this clinic. I really miss the awesome staff at the last hospital I used in TX because all I have had from here is a years worth of heartache and drawn out emotional play with my strings.

Highly unorganized, not helpful, patient care is non existent. The coordinator is impossible to get a hold of. You are left completely on your own with meds and schedule to manage with no guidance. If you have any issues there is no-one that will respond to help via phone or email for weeks. And that is all standard protocol for them so dont bother complaining or they will dismiss you as a client with no regard for you or your current place in the infertility journey. Fertility issues are hard enough, all the added stress from this clinic (that is encouraging you to loss the stress) is not good for you or your body. Do not give these people your money. Keep looking.

Dr. Layman is great, but is staff needs to step it up. I’ve been seeing the office since February and my phone call has never been answered. I either get a call back days later, or I end up having to go up there and demand answers. Every time, I’m met with “we are sorry, we are working on it” but it never changes. Women are counting on them for treatments....at least answer the phone!

We started seeing Dr. Brakta back in February of last year and had a wonderful experience. The staff was always so pleasant. My only complaint which has nothing to do with them is the billing department. I’m still missing $3,000 that I paid and they can’t seem to tell me where it is.

Tried to get them on the phone for an appointment for a month. Got a virtual one, Dr said call my office as soon as you have a period to have a procedure. I’ve now been calling for three days going on four with no response. I’ve never experienced a doctors office with such poor responses. These are women in their most vulnerable state and this is how we’re treated?

I rarely leave a negative review, but I feel that it’s warranted in this case. These people are impossible to get a hold of the simply set up an appointment. I’ve been calling for several months, and you can never get a live person, you have to wait for them to call you back. Which they don’t do 90% of the time. The couple times they have called back I have been at work and unable to answer the call. Terrible management and customer service!
