Shady Grove Fertility in Baltimore - Harbor East

I can’t say enough positive things about Shady Grove. They are quick, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and truly care about each patient! The lead front desk, Ariel, is always so welcoming! The lead MA and PSR Melissa and Jasmine are great at what they do! They are kind and super amazing at their trade! Our amazing NP, Emily, has been so attentive and supportive!! I always try to make sure my appointments line up with her schedule because she is THAT GOOD!! Elayne, another nurse, follows up with so much useful information after every appointment! We feel valued and supported. We just love all of the staff and feel so grateful!! :)

I would like to speak on the wonderful team at the Baltimore office. Ariel is always professional, pleasant, kind and helpful in so many ways. Melissa and Jasmine are fast and efficient. They get you in and out in those early mornings before work and are also so kind and pleasant. Emily is so informative and professional. Emily really is personable and makes what can be a nervous time so much more at ease. Dr Morris has been very communicative, flexible and knowledgeable through out the process with me. In all I would like to say the Baltimore office has a great team and help make this process a bit more management due to their spectacular service. Thanks

This journey has been nothing but amazing and full of joy for me. I owe a ton of this to the Shady Grove Staff of Baltimore. Ariel at the front desk greets me with a welcoming smile every time. On my off days she brightens me up. Melissa is an MA at Shady Grove and definitely made my experience like no other. She calms you down if you are scared and keeps a joyful spirit. I worked with both NPs Avi and Emily. If you need a laugh and encouragement along the process NP Avi will definitely be there for you. She was so patient with me. I had a million questions and she had a million and 1 answers. She made sure I had a clear understanding of this process. Emily did the same. She always made sure my feelings were addressed and I was comfortable. The team work of this crew is amazing. Elayne was my Nurse and when I say awesome I mean awesome. Never missed a beat when I needed her. Dr Morris was my doctor and offered nothing but the best, from encouraging words to the reality of the process in the most professional and understanding way. I definitely would not have asked for a better group of women. Just want to say THANK YOU for being with me on my journey. (Im currently 9 months pregnant)

Absolutely love this location and all the employees. Ariel at the front desk is very friendly and helps with any appointments you need. Jasmine is amazing when it comes to taking your blood, I have to get it taken in my hands and she is really good at it. Molly is wonderful as well and is super friendly when helping to take you back to the rooms. Emily is awesome when it comes to doing the ultrasound and answers any questions you have while going through and reading the ultrasound. Dr. Morris is extremely knowledgeable and helpful when going through the IUI or IVF journey. She will make you feel safe and comfortable when performing procedures as well. Bryan and I love this staff so much! They make you feel welcome and like family.

The staff at the harbor east location are professional, kind, encouraging and knowledgeable. I love the scenery of the harbor outside of the window while getting bloodwork. The MAs, Jasmine and Melissa are very accommodating and pleasant, which really helps to calm my anxiety. Avi is so personal and always goes the extra mile to perform a thorough exam. It’s so pleasant to walk into that office and to be always be greeted with smile by Aerial.The nursing staff is amazing as well. It goes without saying that Dr. Morris is in class by herself when it comes to her patient care, which includes staying abreast on the current IVF literature, data and available options for me. To quote Anne, “I think that you are going to like it here!”

I cannot say enough great things about Shady Grove! The entire staff is beyond caring, respectful, and kind throughout our journey with them. They made super dark and negative days positive and encouraged my husband and I with hope! Dr. Morris, Alvonda, and everyone else at the Harbor East location are true gems!!

Really clean office space. Staff is very nice and makes you feel welcomed especially Ariel. Jasmine draws my blood and ensures that I am comfortable and not in any pain. I would recommend this office for sure.

I am a 31 year old woman with polycystic ovarion syndrome, it causes me to not ovulate or have periods on my own. My amazing husband and I had been struggling for 5 years to start a family. We started with a treatment of medroxyprogesterone, which includes taking it for a year and then stopping, to try naturally. No luck. Next was clomid tablets for about 6 months. When that didnt work, we were referred to a fertility specialist, Shadygrove Fertility. We started our year and a half journey here. We went through 1 failed medicated cycle, 2 failed IUIs, and 2 canceled IUIs. Next was IVF. I successfully had 29 eggs retrieved. 17 were mature, 4 made it to the blastocyst stage, and 2 came back euploid with pgta testing. Our first frozen transfer was a success, and we are now 8 weeks pregnant! I want to thank Dr. Morris for her excellent fertility assistance and the wonderful fertility staff Ariel and Melissa and nurses Mollie, Avi 😄, Emily, Carla, and Louisa who gave us hope and positive support! Thank you guys so much for always being so extremely kind and reassuring! For anyone trying dont give up, it takes time and patience. I HIGHLY recommend Shadygrove fertility 😆

I have been with Shady Grove for almost seven years, with both Harbor East and Towson locations. My journey was very challenging with a lot of heartbreak along the way, but my doctor (Dr. Beall), amazing nurse (Danielle), and the incredible nurses and front desk staff, particularly at Harbor East, made the process so much easier. My team knew me, individualized my care, and genuinely was with me through all of my ups and downs. I cannot recommend this practice and team enough!

I have been at patient at Baltimore Harbor for the past three years. I have gone through many many ups and down in my fertility treatment journey. The silver lining to all of the heartbreak experienced was the amazing staff that have supported me -My nurses, front desk, phlebotomist, assistants, sonographers and my dear doctor.Abbie, Elayne, Audrey, Molly, Ariel, Melissa, Avi, Emily & Dr MorrisThey are so supportive and make me feel at home when I am in the office there. I could not have survived this journey without their amazing care.

Staff at the inner harbor location are polite and very helpful! They always answer all of my questions transparently. Wait times can be a little longer but they will get you in and its similar across SGF locations from my experience

I had my video consult 2 weeks ago with Dr. McClamrock who was incredibly informative. He let us know that Molly would contact us to know next steps and just a few days later Molly wrote us in the portal with very clear information and next steps. I started my cycle on Saturday and called first thing Monday morning and was able to get all of my baseline testing, genetic testing and ultrasound done this Tuesday morning.Jeanette drew my blood and went over the various tests she was doing. Molly got me prepped for my ultrasound and nicely followed up on some of the questions I had written her in the portal, and Avi, the NP, performed my ultrasound. They have a screen above you so you can actually see what they are looking at, and she made sure to explain and educate me throughout the imaging. Molly even left a specimen cup so I could take it home for my husband without me even asking. The woman at the front desk was also incredibly pleasant. I know this is only the beginning of my journey, but I have had some rough experiences throughout my two year journey to motherhood. I have dealt with people that lacked compassion despite infertility and a miscarriage. As a nurse, I know making my patients feel comfortable is key to ensuring quality patient care, and this group this morning gave me my first real positive experience as a patient in 2 years.Thank you for that, and I look forward to writing an updated positive review as we get deeper into the process.

My husband and I went to Shady Grove Fertility after a bad experience with another fertility clinic. Shady Grove was extremely professional, educational, and walked us through every step of the process. We were so grateful to find such a caring, smart, and professional group to work with. I would like to thank Dr. McClamrock, Elayne Kochis RN, and Angelique Thompson CCMA for their incredible communication and support every step of the way. This was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about fertility options. And due to their great efforts and support, my husband and I are due with our first child in April of 2022 through successful IVF treatments at Shady Grove Harbor East (and shout out to the Towson group for their support as well). What a wonderful practice. Thank you Shady Grove Harbor East.

I loved this place. If it wasnt for them I would not have my little boy right now. Dr McClamrock was very professional even offered us a research program to save us money because my insurance did not cover the genetic testing. I did one round of IVF and got pregnant the very first round. Ive never been happier. Thank you to the medical team staff, nurses, secretary, nurse tech, and doctors al of you took a part in getting me pregnant successfully. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE

Shady Grove. Name says it all. They talk a good talk but when you need answers you get the run around. We were informed that it was best to get genetic screening prior to beginning any processes, which seemed like a good idea. My wife and i were assured that at most it would cost us $349.00 for the testing we needed. You can imagine our surprise when we opened our insurance portal to see that SEMA4 had billed our insurance company over $20,000.00. When we asked our so called Financial Advisor for assistance she basically said, Not my problem talk to their billing department. Instead of saying, Let me reach out to them, let me see how I can help, or here is our direct contact at SEMA4 The more we asked the more belligerent she got and offered no help. No empathy whatsoever. I spoke to a nurse there that basically stated that this so called Financial Advisor was trying to help. I asked how? How is telling us nothing and to contact SEMA4 billing is helping? Her response was to tell me a manager would call. And, then hung up on me. When I called the manager that was supposed to help...you guessed it..Voice Mail and it stated she would return on August 25th...Um its March. Would you do business with something as precious as a baby with this office? At this point....not us...Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me! You decide. This is my opinion.

The staff is wonderful. Theyre understanding, punctual, accommodating, and patient. I always felt like I was an important patient and part of their practice.

I would avoid Shady Grove at all costs! I was a patient of Dr. McClamrock and it was a nightmare from day 1. From issues with the financial team to the never ending lack of communication with the nursing staff. I am a carrier of a genetic mutation which led me to needing IVF. If you do not fit in the small, generic “infertility” box, this is not the place for you. I begged them to try protocols that worked for women that have the same carrier disorder and they flat out refused.I have since left and have done two rounds with a new provider, who not only allowed me to use the “experimental” protocols..but encouraged it. I went from 3 cycles with SG resulting in only ONE embryo to FOUR embryos round one and SIX embryos round two with the new provider. The difference has been night and day.The last conversation I had with Dr.McClamrock he told me “you are going to need to use a sperm donor”...which led me to believe he didn’t even know what patient he was talking to...the eggs are our issue, not sperm!!

Just go with SGF. The doctors are very thorough, and they will not waste time trying protocols that dont work. We are currently 9 weeks pregnant thanks to SGF. I recommend Dr. Yazigi of the Towson branch.

Dr. McClamlock and the rest of the staff at the Baltimore office were able to make our dreams come true and never gave up on us. I will never be able to thank them enough!

I cant tell one word about my experience but I feel comfortable people and they are nice and informative and also friendly people.

Ariel greeted me with a smile and warmth as always and helped me with everything I needed. Melissa also went above and beyond and was very friendly. Every appointment has been a great experience and the entire staff are absolutely delightful and helpful.
