Planned Parenthood - Birmingham Center

Very pleasant and welcoming experience every time I come here. Shaneka started the visit off great and everyone else I saw gave the same welcoming vibe and made me feel so comfortable. The nurse practitioner was very informative regarding the birth control and even though my insurance wasn’t excepted pricing was well over affordable. 5 stars

All of the staff were so sweet and professional. They took very good care of me and made me feel super comfortable and as someone whose insurance didn’t cover my visit I was very pleased with the price. I will definitely be coming back.

I cannot speak highly enough about this location! We were seen at our appt time, every person we interacted with was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The facilities were immaculately clean and there was a true sense of care for our comfort and security. I would happily come here again for all my care needs!

Beautiful, clean and lovely staff- Holly the NP made my IUD removal experience quick and easy! Shaneka at the front desk was so warm and welcoming! Myra made my intake process a breeze! Such a great and AFFORDABLE experience especially since I don’t have insurance at this time! Thank you ladies! 10/10!

Holly the Nurse Practitioner was amazing. She walked me through my IUD insertion process and made it as comfortable as she could. On a scale from 1-10 the pain was about a 4.5. Shaneka was very helpful as well and very sweet with the check-in process. Myra was also helpful as she tagged along with Holly with my IUD insertion. Overall this place deserved 10 stars!

Me and my boyfriend came to this location and was treated like family. They didnt make us feel bad in any way. They were respectful and professional. The visit went fast and it was also inexpensive. They only accept cash payments fyi.

I always have a great experience here. I wish they could be my PCP. Always friendly. It’s always clean. I cannot recommend them enough. 10/10.

Such an incredible place. I came alone for an IUD insertion. The nurses made me feel so comfortable. They were friendly and kind and knowledgeable. Holly did the insertion and answered all of my questions. She helped me make an informed decision about my body and I am so thankful! I was in some pain afterwards (to be expected) and everyone took such great care of me! I cannot recommend this place enough. The people here truly care about what they are doing and the people they are helping 🙏🙌

So, my experience was not what I was hoping for. The lady at the front desk was rude. The older lady, not the younger one. Not sure what her problem was but anyway, the nurse gave me what i needed but they were talking and making jokes about a patient in the back. Very ignorant and unprofessional. Can you imagine going to the doctor for help and hearing the people who are supposed to help you laugh at you? Was happy to get my medicine and get out of there. I do want to note that it was very clean inside, so theres that.

Amazing staff, professional, caring and attentive. The facility has an always clean, and they provide great medical care. “The red head one” always makes me feel comfortable and like family :)

The front desk lady Tahirah was so sweet and kind to me. I really enjoyed the help she gave me. The atmosphere was calm and very open.

Came here to get my Nexplanon removed and they did such an amazing job! I was nervous because I just moved to AL from CO and I am use to going to a primary care office, but let me tell you the level of professionalism here was outstanding. The procedure was so smooth and a lot better of an experience than at my old doctors office. The establishment is very clean and smells amazing lol

The clinic is very nice and clean, and the staff was very kind! I feel that the price I paid for my pelvic exam was very reasonable (especially considering I don’t have insurance). There were a few protesters outside, but I understand that there isn’t much that can be done about that. Because of that, I would definitely recommend parking further in on the side of the clinic. Otherwise, I had a great experience!

This was the most wonderful experience I have ever had with a provider. Everyone from the front desk to the NP’s were beyond kind and supportive. For the first time I really felt that healthcare providers were listening to me. I would highly recommend this facility.

The people at this clinic are so incredibly sweet and helpful. The last time I came here I needed the plan B pill (which is much more affordable at PP than the pharmacy!) and some lunatic protestor started shouting at me from the street about abortions-- as if it werent embarrassing enough to have to go buy a plan B pill in the first place. The woman at the counter inside ushered me in and made me feel comfortable despite the situation. These people really do work hard to make patients feel safe and to answer any questions thoroughly.

Excellent service from the receptionist all the way to the Nurse practitioner. Very easy visit and very comfortable enviornment. I was in an out in an hour. Thank you so much to planned parenthood & it’s employees.

Planning Parenthood is awful . Rude RUDE woman at the front counter , when taken to the back the nurses speak negatively about other patients. Extremely negative energy and the people who work there are far from comforting . Unprofessional horrible place . They made sure to make a hard experience 10 times harder . I am stroke and a little communication, she dont really care!
