I recently started going to Dr. Roberts. She is a sweetheart, and the staff is too, however, trying to schedule an appt is very difficult. The phone just rings, rings, and rings. Ive tried calling other extensions, with no luck to someone answering. Please figure a way to resolve this. It doesnt do any good to have a great staff with an awesome doctor, but I cant get in to be seen, especially when it is an urgent matter as I was advised from the nurse to contact the front desk to schedule an appointment once an issue came about after surgery.Edit to include: This review is not to deter possible new patients. Just wanted to give feedback in hopes of the problem be rectified.

From initial greeting by Receptionist(Clerk)all were welcoming. Time was well spent and All Staff were Professional. Dr. Tomeka Roberts entered the examination room with A Warm Smile and that was so comforting for first visit. I have shared my Great Experience with many. She welcomed a quick selfie.

This was by far the best overall experience I’ve had with a health care provider! They actually listen to me express my concerns with my health. Also provided me with a solution to my issues. Everyone was so kind and understanding. The icing on the cake was the couch in the waiting area Top-tier ❤️

I had a great experience at the hospital. However, I had to rate it four stars due to the unfriendly behavior of one of the nurses. When she came into my room, she did not introduce herself, which made me feel uncomfortable. Despite my discomfort, I tried to focus on my surgery. However, this individual did not discuss my orders with me or my husband when it was time for me to leave the hospital. As a result, the overall atmosphere was negatively impacted.

Unfortunately, I am very displeased with my visit to this facility. I was searching for a new Doctor and found Dr Tomeka Roberts through google. I fell in love with her story and didn’t mind scheduling my appointment months out because of her busy schedule.My appointment was at 7:30AM. I did not receive a member information form to prefill until only an hour before my visit. Keep in mind, I had to drive a little over an hour to get there so I did not have time to prefill it. The day of my appointment, I walked in and was greeted with a lovely smile and hello from the receptionist. I informed her that I lived further away so I could not fill out anything until I had arrived. She assured me that it would be fine if I was called back to the room before I finished filling it out. She really put me at ease and stated that she believes I will like it there. After I got into the room, another young lady informed me that she had tried to call to get me to come in earlier that morning due to Dr. Roberts having an emergency surgery scheduled. I let her know that I had not received a missed call nor a voicemail from anyone. Soon Dr. Roberts came in and talked to me about my health and would also run some tests and follow up afterward. She did not come back for the follow up due to her having to leave, but I was told she or someone would call to follow up with me.While I waited to be discharged, I was able to witness the staff have a team prayer and devotion. I was so amazed by the uplifting and inspiring team work they had shown, it made me want to work there! However, after my visit, I had not received any kind of follow up with Dr. Roberts or anyone else from her office. I only received a prescription that I didn’t need. None of my concerns as to why I made the appointment were addressed.I called them today to follow up after not hearing anything for almost two weeks. I was told that I would have to make another appointment for next month in regard to the follow up I had not received. I was so frustrated and disappointed that I just cancelled my annual visit for next year. Dr. Roberts and her staff really were pleasant and kind, however my visit and everything afterward was unorganized, inconsistent, and really just a waste of my time and money.

My visit to see Dr. Roberts was absolutely pleasant! Everyone on her staff is friendly and greeted me with a genuine smile. Dr. Roberts is very thorough and she took her time to actually listen to me and didnt rush through my appointment. She took care to explain everything she was doing and why she recommended my tests. The people in her lab are AWESOME, Pat saw I was freaking out about getting stuck and he actually cared enough to help calm me down and was very patient with me. I dont remember her name unfortunately, however, the lady who did my bone density test was also very patient and helpful! She saw I was nervous about getting on the table & she explained everything that was going to happen and her voice was very soothing. I would recommend Dr. Roberts and her ENTIRE STAFF to all my friends for their girly care . Thank you Dr. Roberts and please tell your staff that I appreciate every single one of them for being so great!!!!!

I have been going here for years ! They are all so kind and professional !! I love Dr McCreless she helped me so much, and listens and was so kind! She made sure everything was done to help me during and after surgery ! Called me several times and was very concerned !

The care here is so good. Everyone is friendly and so willing to help. The staff is super friendly and always makes me feel happy about choosing this practice. They act like they actually LIKE people which is hard to find these days!I do agree with everyone though about the wait on the mammograms. It was better this year, but ugh…plus, it is absolutely FREEZING in the waiting room.

From the moment I walked into suite 430, I was impressed with the colorful office scheme and the friendly greetings from the office personnel. Having a Pap Smear isn’t easy as any female knows, naked with their legs wide open in the air isn’t comfortable. Dr. Roberts and her assistant was very through throughout my examination making sure I understood every step of my examination. The cleanliness of the room and the supplies for the patient never had one the supply you with sock if you needed. Overall this was a great experience. Will continue to call.

My visit is always great with Dr.Roberts. Her staff has impeccable customer service. Thanks for all you do!

I came in with concerns of PCOS and endometriosis due to my intense pains. All of my symptoms were ignored and Dr. McCreless told me she could tell just by looking at me that I don’t have PCOS and wouldn’t test me until I had fertility issues. She disregarded all of my symptoms and I did not feel like I was heard or seen. I would not recommend and I would not come back to this OBGYN.

My annual check up was very fast and thorough. I was called back within 10 minutes or less. Dr. Taylor discussed what I should be doing through out the year. My annual mammogram was followed . I was told they were short staffed but it went quickly as well. Thank you St. Vincent’s..

The office staff are the most friendliest and warm people in all of my doctors office visits. Greet you with a smile, and bid you a good day upon leaving and even calling to make the appointment you can hear a pleasing voice. Dr Taylor makes you feel at ease and so does the nurse practioner which I saw last due to Dr Taylor being booked on the time I needed to have a pap done. Excellent care given. Very beautiful office calm and serene and now even more because the office is so beautifully decorated for Christmas. Just a wonderful overall experience.

My Gyn experience was very good and professional (Dr.Taylor is the best) but my experience for my mammogram was good during the procedure but the wait was awful. I waited for over an hour before being called to the back. I did my check in and completed my insurance paperwork online and still had to wait a long time.

Been a patient of Dr. Brenda Taylor for 15yrs, she has a very welcoming happy disposition, greet you with a smile🙂.The staff are friendly. Her nurse (i think her name is Glenda) is cheerful. The waiting area is Always clean as well as the exam rooms.Im greatful to be a patient of Dr. Taylor.

This hospital is amazing! My daughter was having her first baby here and was SO nervous! The nurses and staff went beyond expectations to make sure she was comfortable. I would like to pet so thank Dr. Short and nurse Shelby Allred for going that extra mile for my daughter. The birthing process could not have gone better and it was because nurse Shelby NEVER left my daughters side the entire 8 hours unless she was getting supplies. The room was beautiful and comfy. Thank you St. Vincent’s for having such awesome staff!

My office visit was a great experience. The only thing my insurance didnt get sent to the lab. I received a bill from the lab and call them and straightened that out.

I really loved my first time experience in your clinic. All the staff was courteous and kind. The medical staff were very professional and knowledgable with the process and made my visit comfortable. The doctor was very kind, detailed, and showed real concern about my health and issues dealing with menopause and the affects and effects of my body. And spoke on ways to come up with a plan to help mecombat these issues of life together. I couldnt have been sent to a better team of healthcare workers than the staff here. I am truly grateful and looking forward to my next visit.

Love Dr. Taylor and her staff but the mammogram appointment this time was very frustrating as we had scheduled our appointment a year ago, same day as our appointment with Dr. Taylor as we do every year but we were told we couldnt get mammograms the day of our appointment. Hopefully, they get this resolved soon, otherwise our experience at Dr. Taylor office was great.

My entire experience from entering the office to leaving was excellent! I had been seeking a doctor who would be attentive & listen to understand my needs and I found her in Dr. Roberts! The entire staff was amazing and caring! I appreciate that for my first visit! Looking forward to next year!

I have been a patient at St. Vincent GYN for many years. I have never regretted a moment.Dr. Taylor and Roberts are awesome, professional , thorough, caring and the best at what they do. Dr. Roberts saved my life. If it wasnt for her thorough testing. I wouldnt have known about my diabetes. Something my primary doctor at the time didnt discover or tell me about.I WOULD RECOMMEND ALL WOMEN THAT CARE ABOUT THEIR HEALTH. PLEASE GET YOUR SERVICES HERE.

I don’t know HOW you’re supposed to make an appointment when nobody ever answers the phone. Selecting the option I needed, all I ever got was ringing. No answer, no option to leave a message. I decided it must be my phone or some type of glitch so I attempted to try another selection so I could ask to be transferred… the woman in billing was RUDE and hung up in my face while I was talking. Not something you want to experience as a pregnant woman who is already stressed. How could I trust these people with my baby when I can’t even trust them to answer the phone ??? Absolutely ridiculous

The care from Dr. Tomeka Roberts has been amazing for the last five years that I have been with her. The staff at Hudson Page and Taylor are always professional, kind, and courteous. I like the fact that you receive a summary of your visit from your patient portal with the doctor’s notes.I only have two minor complaints. First, I do not like how the staff performs follow ups after the visit. I needed some additional imaging that had to be scheduled. We discussed two different options for my follow up imaging schedule. Instead of a phone call from the office explaining what the staff was able to make happen, I received an automated call from the scheduling department asking me to schedule an appointment that had me on hold for 2-3 minutes and then hung up on me. When I called back, I could never get anyone to speak with. This has happened multiple times over the years after my visit. Secondly, I like that the reminder system allows you to save time by checking in and providing pictures of your license and health insurance cards ahead of time. I just don’t like that it does not recognize when you have completed the check-in and instead continues to send check-in reminders to you up until your visit. It is rather annoying and confusing because it makes me think I forgot to complete something. I do like the many reminders about the visit. It should be just that after you have completed the check in process though, reminders. I am also ok if it continues to send you the reminders about the check in process if you haven’t completed it. It just shouldn’t do so once you have.

Dr. Tamika Roberts is very attentive very concerned about her patients. I haven’t seen her in about five years but I felt like I was at home I am so elated to be back under her care. May God continue to bless you, Dr Tamika Roberts.

My Experience is always Wonderful, from the time I check in with a smile and a good Morning how are you. When I’m called back to check my pressure or weight it’s a soothing atmosphere and they’re detailed and keep you feeling comfortable. When getting ready for Dr Taylor to due my annual & I had to come back for my Pap smear which was abnormal. She’s very detailed letting you know what she’s doing and what to expect and keeping you very at ease because it’s very uncomfortable for me. Having her to perform and talk to me was outstanding. I recommend anyone I know to Dr Taylor & St Vincent’s. You’re everything a Woman needs for our Female Help.ThanksJulia May

My visit with Dr. Tomeka Roberts was great as usual kind, competent staff thorough exam she takes the time to answer all questions and discussed solutions and youre in and out in a timely manner. But the Imaging Department for Mammogram needs a complete overhaul the wait 1and a half hours is ridiculous 🥴

I cannot brag high enough on this OBGYN clinic. Visiting these lovely lady’s is no understatement of a blessing from God himself. I have been put through the worst kind of struggles and trauma from other obgyn clinics I’ve seen. The amazing women here at Ascensions St. Vincent completely removed all the difficulty I’ve been facing and got straight to the results I’ve been wanting for years within minutes of my appointment. There has not been a single staff member that has been rude to me, the wait times are quick, they are thorough, and they take my problems seriously. This was also the first time I’ve ever seen a my body my choice poster on the walls of an obgyn clinic and the doctor follows through and gave me the choice of what I want to do with my body, and was even willing to work with me on some difficult demands like it was nothing. They even had heating pads and personal care products for you while you wait if you needed it. I sincerely wish more obgyns would take notes on what this clinic is doing. I sincerely never thought I’d see the day where I received help with the problems I have been facing, to this entire clinic I’m truly grateful.

This was my first visit with my new gynecologist, Dr. McCreless, I was impressed. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted, I didnt have to wait too long, and each person was personable and kind.I was also grateful for time after my appointment to speak with Dr. McCreless. I love St. Vincents. But during Breast Awareness month yall should give out goodies bags! Othr hospitals do this during the month of October. And also have small blankets in that waiting area! Its really cold! Thanks 😊

From the time you walk in the office everyone is so nice and welcoming my doctor is so sweet Dr Tomeka Roberts smiling as always very professional got the best news this time 66 yrs old and now I only have to come back every 3 yrs for my checkup a blessing! Mammogram exam every year 😊

Well, you all are normally so good but this last 2 times was a definite miss. Back to back I had to go to the W&C to get my mammogram and it was a double mistake but the one who does the actual testing got more deeper into finding out what happened. Even though I came two different times and was there a long time just to no be able to have what I came for. I. Am so happy that I wasn’t charged parking fee to get out. You may say that ain’t nothing cause you still lost you time and you paid the first time to get out. Well, I still feel and know I’m still so blessed cause I have the two best Doctors ( Dr. C. Rich, Dr. B Taylor) who thought enough about me to send me cause they didn’t see wear I had that test, I still count it all JOY!!!! Blessings!!!

Dr. Brenda Taylor has been my doctor for a long time. She was my OB for my oldest daughter who is now 26. I also worship with her. I have no issues with her as my doctor. My insurance allows a well visit with no copay. I have done them with her and had no problem. Due to traffic I was late for last years so they put me with a nurse practitioner. Nothing seemed abnormal. She started asking me questions about incontinence. I have had a mesh for years, but I answered her. She had a sly grin on her face. I thought nothing of it until I got a bill for what was supposed to be free. I called billing and she read a note the NP had written saying I wanted to discuss my incontinence. Since I have a mesh, I would have called to schedule if I needed to discuss it. The billing lady was kind and explained theyve been trained to do that to fool you into paying for what you should not. Looking at these reviews I sure hope Dr. Taylor watches out. It looks like the office staff may be trying their best to sabotage her for her success. I hope you read the reviews. You are strong enough for your own practice if you feel you want the venture. If you dont doubt.

I went to ultrasound first and every was friendly and helpful. Then I went to Dr. McCreless for my annual exam where she and her whole staff were excellent. Overall, the whole experience was pleasant.

I had an emergency appointment set by my doctor office. They were able to see me immediately.They were professional, caring, and understanding. I had less than 5 minute wait. Thank you so much for your concerns.

I have been seeing dr Taylor for about 8 years and never had problems until this year. There have been medication administration errors on my prescription which caused me to be very sick if I were prescribed opioids I would have died. The only thing they could do was apologize for the error. They took forever to get my lab results back I had to call a month later and remind them to get my lab results from labcorp if I were diagnosed with something it would be considered as negligence and left untreated for an entire month. I’m not sure if it’s because of Covid but the office seems to be very busy which is causing minor mistakes in the office. Mistakes like this are not acceptable I’m starting to feel like my health is not important to my health care provider. Also I’ve updated my insurance information and keep reminding them to resubmit my claim to my new insurance but they are still forgetting to so. So frustrating having to make sure my doctor’s office is on top of things.

Dr. Robert’s is was amazing. Everyone is friendly and caring. The environment was out of this world and made me feel comfortable. I was also a little early and they got me right in and out.

Excellent service. They were able to schedule me a next day appointment. The staff was friendly and able to get me scheduled for needed testing the following day. The timeliness & efficiency of this team is like no other!!!

I always feel so blessed and well taken care of every time I visit. Lady appointments can sometimes be uncomfortable but not here. From entry, through treatment and when I exist I am treated with respect and complete care.

I literally just left and the receptionist was absolutely rude and unprofessional. A very dear friend recommended this hospital specifically Dr Roberts and although it is not her fault the receptionist are rude it still left a bad taste in my mouth. I did not have an appointment however i had been calling for weeks to set up an appointment but noone picked up the phone. I work 6 days 10 hrs straight so i never had time to stop by and today i was finally able to stop by. When i walked in the receptionist was irritated i guess because i didnt have a piece of paper supposedly. She rolled her eyes and shook her head then asked what i need to see Dr. Roberts for, i explained that i just wanted to do an annual check up she then looked at me and said rudely “she doesnt have any openings till august”. After i said that was okay she entered all my information in the computer. Once finished i asked her is there a direct number to the office she recited the 7800 number i said “well ive been calling for about two weeks now and noone answers the phone so is there another number she then said VERY rudely “the phones aint ringing now and thats the only number”. Once she said that i just left. I honestly wanted to cry because i just didnt understand why she was so rude and i hadnt done anything to her. All i wanted to do was set up and appointment thats it. The lady was brown haired and her hair was styled in a wet crimp style. She was the first person that speaks to you. I’m still going to my appt in august, i wont let her unprofessional mannerisms stop me from meeting with a dr that was highly recommended to me. However, that receptionist needs to be talked to because there is just no reason she should treat people like that.

I really loved Dr.Roberts and her staff they were very nice and friendly and very helpful people and I really loved the nurses and the tech who drew my blood he was very good and knew what he wad doing because it only took him one stick and I didnt have a bruise the next day and they really got the job done and gave Dr. Roberts gave me very good news and help with my progress

Love Dr. McCreless. She is so kind and thoughtful and makes you feel like you’re talking to your best friend. The whole staff is top notch!!!

I have a patient of Dr. Taylor since the mid 1980s. I was then a teenager and am now in my 50s. I have lived out of town seen other Gyn doctors while living out of town, but I started travelling back to birmingham to see Dr. Taylor. She is the best Gyn doctor that I have ever had. She is very professional, her bedside manner is impecable and she is genuinely concerned for her patients. There are some office staff that do not carry her level of integrity, patient service or courtesy. Eventhough the service level and quality of some of the workers have changed over the years, so has the quality if individuals that we have to hire from. Dr. Taylor has been the one constant that I am sure of in that office since the 1980s.

It pays off to be patiece. While waiting for the receptionist to schedule my appointment April thec12th , someone cancel their appointment yayy!!! I was able to get appointment in 2 days. Annual and Mammogram, same day its a winner for me

I started seeing Dr. Taylor over five years ago after she was highly recommended by three separate people. Ive had nothing but positive experiences with her and her staff. I highly recommend her for all your gynecological care.

I like Dr Taylor but if you have a problem you will not be able to see her for 6-7 months!!! You could die if you have cancer! I’ve been a patient for 20 years and the last few years have not been able to see the doctor within a reasonable time. They also cancelled my yearly because of her vacation and could not reschedule me for another 6 months.

Every time I visit this facility, everyone Is always friendly from the checking in, to the nurse staff, as well as the doctors. I always have a great experience!

My waiting time was short. Dr.McCreless took time to answer any questions and informed me on any updated medical information that concerned my health.

Dr. Taylor and her staff are very unprofessional. After several attempts to reach them (more than 10 calls over 5 months) they finally responded saying they would not speak with me about a billing issues. Dr. Taylor coded a visit incorrect and after promising to fix it, she finally said she would not and did not give any explanation. I am out of $600 for an annual visit that is covered under my insurance. She has lost a patient!!!

All is well. Love my gynecologist! However, didnt like that had to wear mask! Mask never worked from start. It has been proven. Otherwise, was great.

Doctors are wonderful. However their phone communication is lacking. Every time that I call I sit on hold for over 5 minutes until someone answers.
