I had a great experience considering the how uncomfortable Ive heard the procedure can be at other places. Dr. G made me feel very comfortable and was able to provide plenty of reassurance before, during and after the procedure. He also had a great sense of humor and his experience doing this procedure is without question. The office was also very clean. Also Dr. G has great taste in music!

I’ve been to numerous doctors from routine check ups, to broken bones, ACL surgery, and Dr. G is HANDS down the best doctor I have ever encountered. From the cost, to the reminders, the prompt email responses, the personal calls he gives you before and after the procedure, the explanation and his ability to make you feel like more then another “customer”, Dr G and everyone else involved made this procedure easy, SIMPLE, and make you understand that you are truly doing something that will be of benefit. Before the procedure I told my wife how much I was a fan of Dr. G, and after we left the quick and easy procedure, she was a fan, maybe even more than me. If you’re thinking about using these guys, don’t hesitate…the entire experience was easy, and also the procedure was essentially pain free. Thanks Dr. G!!!

It’s almost 36 hours after the vasectomy and I am in no pain, have not been in any pain. No significant swelling, nothing.Dr G was great. He is very personable. His techniques and processes are cutting edge. There is nothing bad that I can say about my experience.

10 stars! Dr. G is incredible. Im about an hour past the procedure and all Im experiencing right now is the expected minimal abdominal discomfort, which I would compare to minor indigestion. Dr. G and I talked during the whole procedure- amazing bedside manner- and my wife was by my side holding my hand, and I didnt feel any pain.First- no needle used for numbing! The jet applicator tool for numbing truly doesnt hurt. Its like a super weak rubber band snap on the skin for a millisecond- didnt hurt. And then I was numb right where I needed to be.For just a moment, I felt something that was almost leading to some minor pain towards the end of the procedure, and Dr. G was keenly aware, asked me, then paused, and got me some more numbing and then after it took effect in just a minute, he completed the procedure pain-free.Dr. G- thank you. You are doing an incredible service for men, with a benefit for women not having to do a more invasive tubal ligation, and that you made the whole process so easy and pleasant. THANK YOU!

I recently had my surgery done and couldnt be happier with the experience! Dr. G is a phenomenal doctor and id recommend him to anyone. I was very tense but he helped me through the whole process. I was able to return to work 4 days later with no complications or pain. Thanks again Dr G

So simple even a caveman can do it....Truly the most entertaining medical procedure I have ever had performed.Its no wonder Dr. G has been called the ball whisperer by many:The Drs professionalism, thorough understanding and explanation of the procedure and his bedside manner is second to none.We laughed all the way through the entirely painless procedure. My recovery was also completely painless. I was so surprised that I had zero pain or discomfort after the procedure.Why did I wait so long and stress about this?! I should have done my wife the favor much earlier and stopped being such a wuss.FYI I have recovered in every way and have lost none of the stamina, pleasure or abilities that I had before the procedure (except for the making babies part) .In all seriousness I would recommend Dr. G to any man who is considering getting a vasectomy. It was a 20 minute process and was totally painless during and after.It was great meeting you doc, we wish you and the family our best and tell you to keep fighting the good fight for men to take more responsibility with birth control! 👏👏👏👏

The doctor who did my vasectomy was really awesome had me in and out in no time flat he talked to me the whole time to keep my mind off of it and he made me feel more self conscious about getting it done in a good way over all would definitely recommend to people I actually did recommend someone to then

Dr. G is a great down to earth individual. Experience was great. Very simple clean procedure. He answered most questions before I even had to ask and any further questions he had all the answers.

Dr G made this process very simple. Online scheduling. Pre procedure phone call from him and several reminder text messages. My procedure was a little more difficult because of my nerves but he stuck with it and accommodated me later in the same day.

I drove 4 hours from Illinois to get a vasectomy done here, I do not regret it. Very professional doctor who was also able to distract me by talking to me for the full duration of the very short procedure. It was 5 days ago and I already feel almost completely fine. My insurance was not supported, but I feel that it was worth the total exact cost of $699 to get this done in a way that even someone like me who really hates needles can tolerate. Thank you doctor G. :)

Dr. G was professional and excellent at communication before, during and after the operation. The operation was painless and took all of about 14 minutes. I did experience some slight to intermediate pain a few days after the operation but the medication provided took care of it. Insurance covered 100% of the cost of the operation minus my $20 co-pay. Dr. G is incredibly good at what he does - not only regarding the procedure, but the way he talks with the customer before, during, and after the procedure to make sure they are comfortable. I was pretty nervous going in, but he managed to make the experience quick, easy, and painless. Hes the kind of guy youd want to get a beer with.Highly recommend giving Dr. G a call if you are remotely interested in getting a vasectomy. It took 10 minutes and I didnt feel a thing.

Men should not be afraid of vasectomies. Especially under the care of Dr. Guarin who exclusively performs this surgery and is an expert at it. He was chosen over others because he does the newer version of the procedure which is less painful, takes less procedure time, and is less recovery time and FAR less complications statistically than the scalpel version. If you go to a regular clinic, they are likely to use the scalpel version which is antiquated and painful. This is such a simple procedure with very little downtime. Its 200% better than 18 years of child support and baby mama drama!

Dr. G was great, he took the time to answer all my questions prior to the procedure and had a great bedside manner. During the procedure itself there was only minimal discomfort. The couple of days following the procedure there was some minor discomfort/swelling, which is expected, and overall everything went well. Highly recommend.

Dr. G was amazing. Very professional, and fast, no pain. My Husband did not even have to take any ibuprofen. Recovered fast and was not laid up. Dr. G is the best and highly recommend him!

Id decided to get a vasectomy, and after calling my insurance company and hospitals for 3 hours my partner said What about the billboard we saw in Cedar Rapids?Little did I know the man behind the billboard was Esgar Guarin, Iowa physician of the year 2017. He was kind, professional, and reassuring at every step. The arrangements, procedure, and recovery were easy and virtually painless (it feels like a little nut tap for a couple days). The cost is totally reasonable. Esgar is a vasectomist activist around the world, and Im so pleased with my decision and the experience that I tell people about it every chance I get. I almost wish I could do it again! Almost.

Wow Im literally amazed! Dr Guarin is absolutely spot on with this procedure. 36 hours after this procedure and Im still pain free. Dr Guarins professionalism and expertise in truly astounding. Dr. Guarin was incredibly professional, and answered all of my questions in depth before the procedure. Everything from scheduling all the way through to the post procedure follow up was simple. Pain was minimal, and I cant recommend the procedure enough. Get snipped.

Save yourself lifelong testicle pain like I have and dont do this procedure. Mine was horrible and totally regret it. I may be the oddball case but it happens way more often than the guys want to admit. If it does happen to you, they just shrug their shoulders and say they cant help.
