UnityPoint Clinic Express (Lindale)

Very disappointed with my care. They tested me for Covid and barely touched the inside of my nose and it cost $456.00. They sent me home saying basically they couldn’t do anything for me. The next day I went to the Marion urgent care which gave me three prescriptions because I was so sick and told me that there is no way it would’ve been Covid and they would not have tested me for it but unfortunately, they had been busy the day before. I called the Collins Road urgent care and spoke to Derek LeGrange, who said he would look into it and call me back, which he has never done.

My son had been suffering from stomach aches all weekend and we finally decided to take him to urgent care. Due to it being 6:30, lindale was the only urgent care still open. Matt told my husband they were no longer taking patients for the night because they were full and backed up even though there was no one in waiting room and that he should go to ER. I then called the clinic phone to ask when they stopped seeing patients and was told 7:45! Very disappointed with quality of service we received.

Even though the wait was long and the place looks nice, finally figured out that I had bronchitis and gave me a thorough examination saw a doctor and she was very kind and I like how kind the nurse was who gave me apple juice before giving me an oral steroid. People here are friendlier. Definitely recommend coming here

I went in for chest pain that’s had been going on for a period of time. The doctor told me to go see my pcp for this issue (which I have). The next day I got a call from the clinic saying my ekg was abnormal. Thankfully I had already went to another clinic to get checked out. Completely dismissive of my symptoms.

I had to go into Urgent Care the day after Christmas, 5 days before my wedding. The front desk staff, nurse, and practitioner were all super patient and helpful, despite having been short staffed all day. Im sure they were ready to get out of there, but they listened to my concerns and hooked me up, so hopefully I will be feeling better by the time I walk down the aisle.

My lady made Online appointment for the night off and they called and helped me set up one for the next day when X-ray would be in so I didn’t have to make two trips. Super friendly and fast. Everything was great service and people. Super fast for a doctor visit. Very clean and modern. I imagine it’ll be costly but that’s health care here now. Top notch care though

Longest express visit ever, 2+ hours with an infant screaming because he didnt feel well. 1.5 hours of it were back in the room otherwise if it has been that long in the waiting room we would have left.

Came into the clinic as soon as it opened because my daughter had been throwing up all night. We were the first ones in the clinic and the ONLY ones there. I was told because I didnt have a reservation we would have to sit in the waiting room for an HOUR AND A HALF at least because 7 other people who were NOWHERE TO BE BEEN had made a reservation before us. We left and went to the Mercy Emergency room and were seen immediately. They definitely dont have customer care as a first priority.

Tonight was the second time i have had issues with this place. Called a little before 6 pm and was told to be there before 7. Was there by 6:15. Waited in the waiting room for an hour and 15 mimd and watched at least 5 people come in after us and go back. When we finally did go back we were told 2 people were ahead of us. After another 30 mins. waiting i finally got tired of waiting only to find the doctor sitting at the desk doing nothing.Finally sick of waiting we leave and as im getting the kids in the car the nurse comes out asking if we didnt want to be seen. Beyond infuriated i tell her that i wanted to be seen an hour and a half ago, at which point she answers whatever.They need to take the express out of their name because they are anything but.

Clean facility, quickly seen. However, staff did not seem efficient or knowledgeable. Im not sure how you can get a manual blood pressure of 107/95 unless you can magically read in between the tiny lines? Additionally, unitypoint may want to standardized their care as my children had been tested days prior at another unitypoint facility for something that is contagious but can easily be treated by antibiotics. I had the same symptoms and I was told that the testing done for them was outdated and no longer the gold standard. However after doing research it is the gold standard and is also recommended by the CDC. Instead I was told you look like your doing just fine and it will get better in a week and that my lungs sounded clear (although she barely held the stethoscope up to my back. I also had on two shirts and a bulky sweatshirt on, and she listened over the top of my clothes). Im a nurse and I was absolutely shocked by the care I received. Dont waste your time going here. The only thing they are good for is a COVID test as they are eager to perform one prior to the provider even seeing you.

Probably one of the rudest non friendly locations. The nurses are rude and whoever works front desk clearly doesn’t want to be there. I don’t care what degree you have you are no better than anyone that walks through that door. There is nothing urgent about this location they refer you to your primary or emergency room instead of actually doing their job. Very disappointing.

Everyone we encountered (front desk, nurses, PA) were so kind and caring with the patient (my 3yo) and our whole family. The experience was quick, but I also felt like they spent adequate time explaining things to us and answering any questions we had. They even gave my kids snacks/juice while they waited (after asking me if it was okay), which was a huge help for this mama.

We checked the wait time online for walk-ins before coming in and it said 18 minutes. When we got there, they said they arent accepting walk-ins, only appointments. There was only 1 other person in the waiting area. This is supposed to be an urgent care clinic, if youre only taking appointments its no longer urgent care - its a regular clinic, and the website should reflect that. We wasted a bunch of time when our 3 year old is battling a very high fever. It is completely unacceptable.

I highly do not recommend this clinic. My daughter had a laceration on her head so we went in for stitches. The stitches were not done properly and I asked the PA L Gray multiple times if it need one or two more stitches she kept telling me it was the swelling it was clearly not the swelling and it was also clear that she didn’t want anyone correcting her. This is my child’s face so it is place to say something however she refused to add and said it would be fine. It was not and might as well not even had them done in the first place as my daughter has unnecessarily large scar. It’s very clear the PA L Gray puts her ego before a patients well being which is the last thing you want when visiting the doctor. My daughters well being should have been put before her ego instead of getting defensive of me advocating for my daughter she should have done what was right. Maybe next time L Gray will put the patient first. Will not be back and will over advocate from now on.

The front desk staff were wonderful and so kind to my little one that didn’t feel well. The nurse and doctor were wonderful, sweet and quick. I really appreciated stumbling in here today after a quick onset of ear infection with my daughter.

No doctor just nurse practioner and she mis diagnosed my sons elbow injury for tendonitis when it was a medial epicondyle fracture which needed surgery. She dismissed xraying my child due to the fact she felt her hands on assessment was tendonitis. When indeed my child suffered from a fracture. I returned next day insisting xray and sure enough sadly I was right with my initial request for an xray. Luckily, my instinct was correct and only if she would of ruled out to find out she wouldnt of misdiagnosed a fracture in a child.

Had a bad experience with this clinic.when I went there on Friday February 4 2022. The nurse asked which pharmacy. I told them the one I go to . They had the old pharmacy on my patient records. I gave them the new one. When I called on February 5th 2022. I was supposed to get medicine sent to the pharmacy I go to now . On the phone she wanted to confirm what pharmacy and I gave her the one I go to. But I called a couple of hours later and she said they sent it too the old pharmacy . It was not miscommunication . They need to update peoples information like there preferred pharmacy. It was very frustrating deal with them.

Not an urgent care!!!Appointment take priority.My point of view; me and my sick chil walk in, 2 associates are taking down Halloween decorations and one is on the phone, explaining the new walk in policy. A man comes up, grudgingly takes our information and tells me we can be seen at 1045. There was one vehicle in the parking lot.So upset right now!!!!!!!

Wow what an amazing staff. My girlfriend accidentally kicked the bed frame and got a nasty cut on her shin. So I slapped a ladies pad on her leg, tape it down with packing tape and off we went. Problem is its 7:30 everything is closed we end up going to the new Collins road unity point. One its so late yet the staff is running around with so much energy. They are cracking jokes having fun, and could tell they just loved their job. The whole time making my girlfriend feel just amazing and comfortable. My girlfriend shes really tuff so nothing was fazing her. The doctor came in, immediately sat down, explained everything to her and was just amazing. They did the procedure right there and then super quick. Total time was like 35 minutes in and out. Seriously these nurses and doctors should work for Nascar. Amazing care, so impressed. Thank you.

I had no idea this UnityPoint Clinic opened up this past April in the old photo pro office space. Love that it is 5 minutes from my home. Very patient friendly, easy access, super nice staff, and very satisfied with my overall experience. This will now be my new after hours clinic.

I stopped in late Wednesday night to be seen and I was impressed!! I was sent there by Mercy care. I was treated like a human being!!All the staff were polite and caring!!

As someone in healthcare I am applaud by the lack of updating and lack of timely care at this location. I was told it would be an hour to be seen. I waited the hour and now I am in a room and have been waiting to see the provider for a half hour. No updates, nothing just waiting with no clue how long I will have to wait. Seems like it is a difficult concept to update patients at this facility way to over promise and then under deliver.

Tonight I ended up with a deep gash in my shin from a bed frame. Went in and everyone there was very friendly! The PA was excellent and got me stitched up and out the door in about 30 min. Excellent and efficient care by all!

Great clinic! Super easy to schedule an appointment and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Staff is extremely friendly as well. Highly recommend this place for urgent care needs.

Waste of my time. I had to leave since I was in there for hour and a half still without seeing a doctor and have a life to live outside of the place. Was leaving and an employee told me she was sorry but the people who reserved their time are seen first. In other words, if you want to walk in make sure you have nothing to do for a couple hours or longer. Im heated that I wasted the gas.

I made an online appointment for 11:45 and went in at 9:30. The lady at the desk told me they would try to get me in early but no promises. They did get me in within 10 minutes. Everyone was efficient, polite and professional.

Nick was more than amazing with my 2 year old who isn’t a fan of the doctors! They were very fast and there was hardly any wait time. The facility was very clean and this will be our new go to place for little things that come up with our little one!

I made an appointment online, got in right when my appointment was scheduled, and was out within 30 minutes. I was very pleased with my interactions. Everyone was kind, from the receptionists, the nurse, and the physician that I saw.

Was diagnosed with nasal congestion when went there for a migraine headache. Staff were awesome though. Also was diagnosed wit nausea the other time for a migraine headache. Billed my insurance under a different name tan Unity Point- so, mi Insurance won’t cover it.

Worst care ever, went in for cold symptoms, they ran a covid test, that’s it, didn’t look in ears, or check sinuses, they did list to heart and lungs but literally for only as long as it takes to set the stethoscope Down and pick it back up. When he looked at my throat it was from several feet back .Told me to take DayQuil and wait for covid results. That’s it. Didn’t ask about my cough, or what I have tried for symptoms nothing. Just take DayQuil and let the room .

Signed up online for an appointment, got there and its closed. Shut down the appointment option on the internet. What a waste of time.

Never had been before but will definitely go back here if needed! Nice new facility. Staff was super friendly and it was quick and easy!! Morgan and Amber were great with my daughter!!

Over the top impressed with this entire facility and staff. Very welcoming and truly caring. Didn’t feel like I was being rushed in or out or that the doctor didn’t care. I highly recommend!

Not a walk-in clinic. You have to schedule an appointment before going in. I came in with my sick son and was told they weren’t accepting anymore walk-ins for the day and it was only 2 hours after they opened.

We used the express several times the last time we used it instead of charging me for a walk in clinic they charged me for a new patient dr visit and nobody will back down at the billing department paying $103 for something that should cost me $30 We wont be using that clinic again

“Reached their capacity of patients they can safely care for for the day” 3 hours before their posted closing time, with zero patients in the building

Longest and worst urgent care visit I ever had not only have I been waiting 2hrs and counting they are doing nothing to clean or sanitize all the areas where possible infected person has been.

They are always so nice to me when I come in here with my daughter they are always patient and understanding probably my favorite place to go when I’m sick

Have a 9 month old sick and they say we are full then why you an urgent care!

Did not listen to me at all and kept pushing me to get a covid test when Ive already been tested and was here for an ear infection. 🙃

Wife needed to see a Dr. says d they are open online. Closed. Nothing like waste of time and effort to try and find a Dr.

Unity point called the police because I can’t wear a mask, refused service to my child and kicked me off property

Modern facility and easy to get into through online booking and very efficient

Caring and friendly staff. Excellent experience!
