I have been taken the acupuncture treatment for about 4 months. Dr. Yang provided knowledgeable care and addressed my menstruation pain and abnormality. I appreciate Dr. Yang’s work and expertise, also would like to recommend her to my friends

Dr. Yang is amazing!! I contacted her on a weekend and she returned my call within minutes. She was able to fit me in the next day and I went to her for a few months during my IVF journey. The visits were seamless and so relaxing. I was able to get pregnant naturally while waiting for some labs before my transfer. I believe it was her practice that helped me conceive naturally.

Although her practice name might suggest she only treats fertility or feminine reproductive health issues, she is a versatile and gifted healer. I came to see her for some spleen meridian related stagnation issues that had triggered IBS/IBD flare-ups and felt a powerful energetic shift by my second session. I began shedding weight in the midst of the holidays without even trying! She was also very considerate of the fact that I was visiting and traveling for the long-term and would not have access to regular treatments for a while and made special accommodations for me. But those who are interested in fertility treatments will be reassured to know that her office wall is full of photos and cards from happy parents with miracle babies! 🙂The herbs she sells are pre-cooked and come in easy-to-carry packets that are excellent for travellers and busy people who dont want to stink up their homes boiling them the traditional way. Her husband shares the office space with her and is a Ph.D in TCM and also an advanced practitioner. (They met in graduate school.) He is also well-known for treatments of post-stroke recoveries, something I hope to bring my Dad here for.Their prices are comparable to rates across town with the convenient access for commuters looking to benefit during lunch hour downtown. The premises are impeccably clean and ambient with antique record players in each treatment room. I cannot recommend them enough! And men, please do not hesitate to contact her husband for a session as well!

I rarely write reviews, but I had to make an exception today. I called the office of Dr. YANG after I had left my IVF doctor very discouraged with my lining that doesnt seem to ticken. Dr Yang was able to squeeze me in today, and Im thankful she did. Shes very very knowledgeable and her bedside manner is amazing. I felt so relaxed during my acupuncture. Im looking forward to seeing her next time.

Dr Yang is a wonderful doctor! She is dedicated to her job, she listens all your concerns. After, not having successful pregnancy for four years, my miscarriage, I ended up in her office, and this was the best decision what I did. In the second month of treatments, I was pregnant! I felt so safe, and strong during my whole pregnancy, because I did acupuncture every week. I recommended Dr Yang to all my friends. I would recommend her acupuncture services to anyone! This is the place to go!

Dr.Yang is very patient to listen all my concerns, and she also is knowledgeable the process of infertility. I finally got pregnant after 4months acupuncture and herbal tea treatment. I am thankful to find Dr.Yang, and highly recommend Dr.Yang to people who are suffering infertility.

I strongly recommend Dr. Yang, she is the nicest doctor I have ever met. She cares about patient, provides different treatment opinions according to patients condition, makes our dream come true. I had my second IUI procedure together with Dr. Yangs acupuncture and Chinese herb treatment, I successfully became pregnant. In order to make sure I successfully went through the first trimester, Dr. Yang gave me a lot of support. My baby is really health according to all the ultrasounds and blood work results. And my due date is November this year. I am super thankful to Dr. Yang!

I only have good things to say about Dr. Yang and Dr. Zhang. I went in to see them, after my second failed IVF cycle. My IVF Dr. had given me a 1% chance of ever conceiving naturally, and believed that due to my age (42), my eggs were just not healthy enough to end in a healthy pregnancy, even through IVF. The day I calked Dr. Yang I was able to get in to see her on the same day, even though she was booked for the day. She quickly assessed my case and I started acupuncture twice a week, with a daily herbal tea. The acupuncture itself was wonderful. I felt so relaxed and I would fall into a deep restful sleep every session. The herbal teas are not pleasant, they are pretty bitter and I dreaded drinking the tea every day. But I believed in them, so I drank them every night. By my next menstrual cylce...I WAS PREGNANT! I continued acupuncture and teas through my first 20 weeks of pregnancy. I would have continued, but I had to go back to work in person at that point, and it was hard for me to squeeze in appointments with my work schedule. My entire pregnancy was such a wonderful experience. I loved being pregnant. I never had any negative symptoms that were hard to handle, until I developed preeclampsia at 34 weeks (which is when i was induced). I gave birth to a baby girl, who was born 5 weeks early, but is very healthy considering her early arrival. I cant thank Dr. Yang ad Dr. Zhang enough for their help, I truly believe I would not have been able to conceive without their help.

I found Dr Yang after a failed IVF cycle at a local fertility clinic. She told me she didnt think I needed IVF, despite having low ovarian reserve. I started seeing her weekly and drinking her teas, all in preparation for another IVF cycle in a couple months. 3 weeks after my failed cycle, I got pregnant naturally, with her help, and have continued seeing Dr Yang/Zhang throughout my first trimester. Im 13 weeks now with a healthy baby and I cant thank them enough. I will continue to see them weekly for my chronic back pain. I highly recommend them to anyone struggling with infertility - and drink the teas! Add honey and it gets better after a few times!

Dr Yang is the best in Chicago for fertility accupunture! With IVF, I also Incorporated her accupunture twice weekly with her recommended herbal teas daily. I began 1.5 months prior to my transfer and continued until I was 13 weeks. Pregnant with twins! Dr Yang is a gem! If you are struggling with fertility, go and see her!

Dr. Zhanhai Zhang, has treated my back pain on several occasions. I first went to him about 6 years ago when I had a sudden attack of sciatica and a locked back; I could not walk. He made a special trip for me on a Sunday to treat me, and I will never forget his compassion and concern. After my first treatment, I felt immediate relief and after several more visits my pain subsided and my nerves have calmed down. After that episode, I neglected to continue care with him because I felt pretty good. Slowly over time I started having chronic sciatica problems which recently landed me in the emergency room.I went back to see him with an MRI report in hand and I in tears. He assured me that he can get me back to feeling good and after a few visits, my nerves have calmed down. He has also been treating me with herbal medicine for another condition and after a few weeks, my condition has vastly improved. Hes so wonderful and I couldnt recommend him enough.He has an impressive background in schooling and I dont feel that you can find a more knowledgeable, compassionate, and trustworthy Doctor and acupuncturist in the city. I will continue to see him for maintenance, because I dont to experience the problems Ive had again. I was initially referred to him by my sister who was seeing Dr Yang with help regarding fertility issues she had for years. Im happy to report that Im a proud aunt of a little 6-year-old nephew and a 4-year-old niece. I wish I could share this little secret with anyone suffering from chronic pain (or having trouble with fertility). Thank you Dr. Zhang!

Dr Licai is the real deal - she’s a western MD + eastern functionalist (in my opinion the best combo you could ask for!)As I lay here being induced with my second (long awaited, given less than 1% chance of existence) baby I can’t help but be so thankful to her for everything that she’s done!I have a condition called diminishing ovarian reserve (DOR). My RE provided some grim stats and recommended we start thinking about donor eggs. I refused to believe that because at 37 I still had hope! So I found Dr Licai through some FB group page recommendations and a review someone with a similar to my condition wrote. (And this is why I think reviews are important and I so wanted to leave one!)Dr Licai told me to take a step back, take a break and get my cycle back in order. We started with accupuncture twice a week and customized daily Chinese herbs/teas. We did this for about 6 months as my body was slow to respond. My cycle finally stabilized if only for a few months and during those months I was able to do two egg retrieval cycles: one produced 0 eggs and the other cycle produced 2 eggs - both were fertilized and one of them made it to 5 days!!!!! I just couldn’t believe it!! We froze it and implanted it a year later. I am now 39 years old and delivering this baby any minute now :)Dr Licai is not only a top notch acupuncturist who specializes in fertility - she is also very knowledgeable in the overall process of infertility. She was the one who encouraged me to change my lifestyle: stop drinking alcohol and caffeine, start being more active, eat less sugar and processed foods, and start eating more protein (I am almost vegan but did introduce eggs and some fish to my diet for that reason).I believe that the combination of all of those things is what worked for me! With my low AMH (.015) and high FSH (16.5) numbers not many would’ve taken up my case. But she said we have nothing to lose but to try! And try we did!I am so happy I was able to find Dr Licai and I hope that whoever is reading this, and possibly losing hope with a condition like DOR or POI, can also be encouraged to try!!! It’s a miracle to an extent…but you do have to put in the work and under great guidance things can work out perfectly!!!Dr Licai is very easy to talk to and she is always available to answer any questions you may have!

I got pregnant after 3 months of going to Licai, and now trying for a second. Two other women I know, who experienced years of infertility, got pregnant after going to her. Yes, her teas are expensive, but I lowered my FSH drastically after taking them. Well worth it!Update 2017: I got pregnant again! This time it took a little longer (4 months), but Licai encouraged me and, right as I was considering purchasing donor eggs, I got pregnant naturally, a less than 5% probability based on my fertility dr.s opinion. He was astonished, since my numbers were pretty bad and I was not eligible for IVF.

I would use their services again and again! Dr Yang was just amazing....I was looking for an Accupuncturist for a while and I prayed for the Lord to lead me to the right place. First day I went to Dr Yang’s office I felt at peace. Prayer and Chinese herbs=miracle.... I am blessed today with my 4month old baby

Dr. Yang is amazing. I was having really bad back pains and Dr. Yang gave me some herbal tea that has worked wonders. Any time I have problems with pain I ask Dr. Yang first. Nice clean office and very private. Just amazing

I had never really considered acupuncture for anything until my husband raved about Dr. Zhang & his acupuncture treatment in the midst of his serious health scare. It was basically life changing for him. So when I ran into my own health issues, I decided to see Dr. Zhang as well and Im happy that I did. Not only was the treatment relaxing and therapeutic in a way, considering I fell asleep during my appointment, I also received some herbs to follow up the in-office visit. I honestly believe that it helped me improve my conditions and I ended up attending a second visit.Again, the second visit was relaxing and I fell asleep, but afterwards I felt good, calm and focused. I also inquired about a new concern and Dr. Zhang gave me some advice for natural remedies I could try at home. He was very attentive and listened to my concerns for each visit and did not rush me or make me feel like I wasnt a priority. I appreciate his help and care and respect his advice and will more than likely be back again. For anyone seeking a REAL, holistic approach to treatment and not just some quick fix band aid treatment, I would definitely see Dr. Zhang. He is highly qualified and knowledgeable in his practice and I dont think youd be disappointed.Also, remember that your problems cannot go away in one simple visit, you must take initiative to be consistent and take the advice of the expert you seek to expect full benefit. As a regular patient of Dr Zhang and his wife for 15 years I would recommed their services to anyone. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Whether the health issue is fatigue, allergies or fertility or anything really you wont regret your visit. I have been to several acupuncturists throughout the country, as my career requires that I travel. Hands down, without a doubt Dr zhang is the most knowledgeable acu-doc that I have experienced. ...and the most affordable. Personalized individual sessions given by experts in the field at maybe the best rate in the city. I wouldnt recommend any place over them.

This is an amazing place. They are always responsive, even with short notice. And the magic always works. I come in with horrible pain, I leave the place all smiles and happiness. And I was an acupuncture denialist before coming here for the first time. I cannot stress how much this place helped me with my back pain management. Affordable prices too!

Very unsatisfied with this doctor, he all but mocked me when I told him I was experiencing extreme fatigue. He sold me a weeks worth of herbs that were pretty expensive. I didnt feel the need to pursue any further and did not return. Do not recommend.
