Grainne is an incredible practitioner! Shes not only an amazing acupuncturist, but also provides insight and advice to help guide you in the right direction. Grainne has awesome energy..I always loved my sessions with her and always had great results. My family and i decided to move out of state (which is the only reason I dont see her anymore) - I was super bummed about this! I definitely recommend going to see Grainne, shes a true expert in the field and an all around amazing person!

I’m impressed with her knowledge of herbal medicine and credit her with keeping me cold and flu free this past year. I will continue seeing Grainne even after my health problems are resolved as preventative medicine.

Grainne has been so great throughout my acupuncture journey. She always takes the time to explain everything and ask me questions to get to the root cause. I first met her maybe 10 years ago when living in Chicago, and have since lived in NY and now LA, and I always have kept in touch/made it a point to see her for an appointment when I’m in Chicago. Grainne is brilliant! She is kind, smart and knowledgeable. Ive know her for seven years and shes always the first person I consult whenever I have any health related question for me or my family (including my 5yo daughter; shes great with kids). Before I met Grainne I tried acupuncture with many other practitioners. Since my first consult I knew her practice was different. Shes thorough in her analysis and is able to explain complex things in an amazing way. I never found Chinese herbs or acupuncture to be effective, until I met her.

Grainne was so patient, knowledgeable and thoroughly explained how acupuncture works. I came in with the flu, because of my asthma I had a hard time breathing and was very anxious. She helped me feel at ease and she’s also a great Herbalist, her herbs are the BEST!! I immediately felt better after taking them. Grainne McKeown- acupuncture- When I first met Grainne, I was supposed to get shoulder surgery, and that was 5 years ago! Grainne has given me more flexibility in my shoulder, consistent painless sleep, and her work has allowed me to keep playing golf and perform many other activities. She has been a life saver for me, and my meetings with her have become a normal part of my wellness routine.

Grainne is friendly and kind. She offers suggestions about how to make small lifestyle changes to support health and healing in the body. When Im scared of the needles, which happens periodically, she has incorporated other techniques that are helpful. Im actually amazed that I feel the benefits of seeing her even when I dont get touched physically by the needles. Shes an amazing wealth of knowledge for what health and healing can be.

Grainne is simply remarkable. I have had a nice experience w/ various acupuncture locations in Chicago, but Grainne is really a notch [or 5!] above. Pure, kind, an excellent listener, gives amazing guidance, makes REAL herbs, has all of the REAL stuff. Im not sure how to explain it, but she feels kind of like a magician. She was able to give me input throughout a pretty crummy IVF journey, and helped me not just w/ needles, but helped me navigate some of my questions and input back to my IVF doctors. She paid acute attention to my big picture of health, differently than the IVF doctors. I go to her for non Ivf health needs as well [GI and shoulder surgery healing]! She is wise and kind and I took a lot away from working with her. Actually, I probably should make an appointment right now....
