Planned Parenthood - Rogers Park Health Center

Just been there today and I’m pleased by their performance. Cody and Sandy( sorry If I misspelled) are both very professional, friendly, mindful and just comfortable to be around! The process was quick and they explained me every step. Thank you guys ♥️

My visit from start to end was seamless. Booking was fast and super easy. So was check in. Front desk was friendly and kind. My medical assistant that took me back to my room was also very sweet. My provider had such a gentle, welcoming and sweet disposition. I love that she was knowledgeable and so accommodating and really seemed to care. Customer service at this location is 10/10, I had a wonderful experience here

Do not come here if you care about your health!! Came in to get tested a month ago and still no results. Apparently my sample never got sent over to the lab... Very unprofessional and hard to get in contact with. Would definitely not recommend coming to this location if you want your results in a timely fashion.

I went here to get my IUD replaced and the staff were all friendly, efficient, and kind. The provider who worked with me explained everything she was doing, bit-by-bit, to make sure I understood and was comfortable. Highly recommend this location - the staff is amazing.

Lindsay was my nurse for both my pap smear and for my implant removal/replacement appointments, and she was wonderful! I procrastinated getting my first pap smear for years due to anxiety/gender dysphoria, but she was incredibly patient and great at communicating everything she was doing and what to expect through the whole appointment. She really helped put my mind at ease! She did the arm implant and replacement quickly and painlessly at my second appointment as well. Also, not a single staff member messed up my preferred name or pronouns, which never happens to me at other medical facilities!

Mila was AMAZING! So informative, professional, understanding, kind, transparent, omggg the list goes on! Dr Cho was also AMAZING, very open, honest, and caring. They made my experience extremely comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend this location, the staff is INCREDIBLE!! Wish I could give 100 stars

I had a great experience here. I had Aaliyah and Sandra; both were friendly, gentle, and deeply concerned. They answered all my questions and made removing my implant and testing a breeze.

Went to this planned parenthood because it was the only one who could remove my birth control implant. The front desk was friendly but felt like they werent listening to me because I mentioned implant removal and they kept saying implant placement so almost paid for the wrong service. I didnt wait too long until they took me to the back, maybe 15min. The lady getting all my information done was very nice. The NP was super friendly and would update me on the time it would take until she could see me. During my removal she made me feel comfortable and pain free. I would definitely come back here again for any birth control services.

I’ve been coming here for like 3 or 4 years now and the nurses are always nice to me, one of the receptionists is rude. I’ve encountered a receptionist by the name Yari who was tremendously disrespectful. As soon as I approached the counter, she snatched my ID off the counter and continued to give attitude, then when I was seated she was talking about me to her co-workers under her breath. Earlier today, I was on the phone with her and still had a rude attitude. All my visits was good up until I encountered her. Otherwise, the girl who take care of me. Michelle. Was very sweet and considerate!

Been here a couple of times now and then staff has been nothing but nice. The receptionists were casual and friendly.Getting an STI test was nice and the attendant who assisted me showed a lot of care and patience when i started to feel nauseous with the blood draw.Getting an IUD hurt like heck, but was a quick process and i was informed accurately on what to expect and what to do if i feel like i might faint. They had people shadowing and asked my consent for them to watch.The reason Im giving it 3 stars is because my IUD got misplaced like a month in, which happens, but it was absolute hell trying to get that thing out of me. I scheduled twice (had to schedule about two weeks out both times) to have it removed and they cancelled on me a couple of days beforehand both times. I had to go somewhere else to get the IUD removed and honestly after the month of pain and discomfort I will never use an IUD again.

Went to my 1st ever PP/Gyno appointment and it went very well. I was very nervous, but I met w Dr. Cho and she and the other staff helped explain everything. They all listened to me, which helped ease my nerves. I wish this PP wasn’t so far away from me!

I usually come here for my HRT appointments because its convenient. I moved away to college (downtown) and have been trying to find a time that works for me to schedule my appointment; I found that time and scheduled an appointment. Then they cancelled it days later, called me, said they were wondering if I can do earlier because they have another patient to schedule, and when I said no, they said okay and I kept that appointment date.Today, I woke up to the appointment being cancelled, the appointment is in two days and it needs to happen because if I skip my HRT, I have to wait another like three months for a check up. Scheduled with another planned parenthood because why are other patients being prioritized and why are you cancelling appointments without calling the patient first. Unproffessional.

Theres often a wait but its Planned Parenthood, not a private practice. The medical staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and modern.To the reviewer below, Edgewater is a nice neighborhood. I live a block away from this PP and there are families and people of all ages around. I have never felt unsafe. Broadway and Hollywood are high-traffic streets. Sorry that my area hasnt been gentrified yet.

I love coming here but you guys have 2 rude people back there and after reviewing the comments, I’ve decided to share my opinion. The manager, Latina woman (curly hair), always has an attitude and doesn’t make me feel safe trusting her with my health. Most of the time you guys are dismissive, unless it’s a good day. Mercedes is always judging through her expressions and does not support low income. She always adjusts my slider scale back to 75%, when other locations continuously change it to 100% because I’m a student and work! Also, why didn’t you enroll me in the ABC program? I had to learn all this from ANOTHER location and they were so kind and HELPFUL. Get it together guys, you’ve been warned.

Up until last week, I was not aware that PPH provided services other than what they are famous for. I went here yesterday for a gynecological procedure. The physician name was Taylor. Taylor was very professional, polite, knowledgeable, and informal. Overall my experience went way better than I expected. It was better than I hoped. Thank you again for being apart of that very blessed visit yesterday.I also have to apologize again to Leslie! I really am sorry I couldnt be much of a help to her. She tried to be a shadow to the exam, but I chickened out at the last minute!! YIKES!!!

I have been going to various Planned Parenthoods for 12 years. This is the first time that Ive run into a Dr that was so incredibly rude. My blood pressure is often high right when Im invited it, but it is always nice and low by the end of the visit. Also, the hour Id put on the meter was up. I made the mistake of mentioning this, because the Dr just kept yelling at me about not wanting to get a ticket--I could feel her make it creep back up. I guess she doesnt really understand what makes your blood pressure rise. If the nurse that had asked the original questions had tried a second time, it would have been fine.This was also my first time going when Ive had insurance, and she yelled at me about not knowing the address of where I wanted my prescription sent. Every single other time, Id just gotten it filled at PP.Id like to support PP because of all that they do, but I dont want to be berated.

If I can rate this a 0 I would. This place is so horrible. The receptionist are so unprofessional the husky big African American lady with the curly hair was the worse. I say they should fire her. She’s so unprofessional and didn’t feel safe with her doing my procedure at all. Don’t recommend this location at all never coming back. Although the service was quick kinda

The new location is beautifully renovated, more spacious and super comfortable. Perks include more privacy at checkout and a large, gender-neutral bathroom. Yay!Staff is friendly, and my nurse practitioner today was amazing- she was professional, kind, and even made me laugh. What more could one ask for? Thank you, Planned Parenthood Rogers Park!

Not enough parking. There is literally only 8 parking spots and they share a parking lot with dollar general.

This is the first time I have ever went to any place that the doctor was extremely rude and judgemental! I had been on nuva ring and nursing for 15 months & my old doctors office stopped taking the insurance so I decided to come here, the doctor continued to tell me how im harming my child and how she doesnt feel comfortable prescribing me the ring, I waited 45 minutes to see a doctor after getting asked the initial questions, I told her I didnt know nuva ring wasnt good while breastfeeding and my last doctor gave me the OKAY so I thought it was fine, she told me do i not read the package? Excuse me sorry for trusting my doctors opinion over what the package says. I plan to go back but in different hours so I dont have to deal with that lady.

Drove two hours with an appointment scheduled for 8:45. When we arrived they apparently “cancelled” our appointment without us knowing. But somehow the appointment was still showing online and sending us reminders literally an hour before the appointment. Are you kidding? Complete trash is the definition of the staff here. Screw you all.

Wouldnt do PAP smear on me in 2020 because of my age and normal PAP in 2019. THIS IS ALL DESPITE MY INSURANCE COVERING IT. They said that it wasnt their protocol. I asked calmly, Can you please just do it? They would not.Guess what? I found an OB-GYN who would do it, and my results in 2021 are ABNORMAL. Thank you very much, now we dont know how long they have been abnormal for--1 year? Almost 2?Good for the basics like basic STI checks (but they only do the bare minimum), birth control orders, HPV vaccine

Wonderful staff. Everyone was welcoming, informative, and I felt like I was getting the best care I could have asked for. The office was so clean and comfortable. I will definitely return here if need be.

I did not have a good experience in this place, the girl at the front desk is very unprofessional, and the staff there did not help me enough. I went there because I needed an ultrasound and they said they did not have the equipment to do ultrasounds. I ended up having a bunch of other exams. Personally, I wouldnt come back to this place.

YESSS.!! I love them there the best I got my birth control taken out there and some tests the doctor with blond hair (forgot her name) so sweet n the nurses are too thanx you guys .!!

Literally waiting appointment was at 10am was told 45-1hr currently 1hr30 waiting and everyone walking after me is being seen first. Avoid this place at all costs terrible service.
