Love coming here for any concerns! Not only is this clinic affordable, but the staff are all lovely ladies! I’m never nervous coming in for anything because they prioritize giving you good care & your comfort!

Check in online was easy and smooth. When I arrived at the clinic, the staff greeted me in a friendly and professional manner. The space is bright, cheerful and clean. I was seen right away. And Nurse Practitioner was efficient, thorough and listened to what I had to say. I have always liked Midwest Express much better and avoided Physicians Immediate Care (their patient care is terrible— staff are always grumpy and medical staff are not competent in their diagnoses) if at all possible.

Had a great experience here given the circumstances! We dealt with 2 nurses and a doctor and all 3 of them were incredible with our 8 month old baby. They were attentive, caring, patient, and so loving towards her, knowing that she wouldn’t be happy with the various tests. The wait time was also surprisingly minimal, both in the waiting room and the exam rooms. I’m grateful we received quick and great care here. Definitely one of our best experiences at immediate care.

Loved this place. They tool excellent care of my daughter. Easy registration process. Fast. Clean. Superb service. We are in town for a tournament and having to find care was stressful. But the group was fantastic. Even got a promised follow up call the following morning to discuss xray results. Hopefully we wont have to visit them again the next time we come to Chicago but if the need arises, we know where to go.

Unfortunately I have had on a few occasions the need to go to this clinic but fortunately I have always had a stellar experience. EVERYONE is this clinic is attentive, helpful, and really pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend anyone that needs an urgent care clinic to try this one, you won’t be disappointed

If I could give it zero stars I would. I never even got to go. I called to inquire if they accepted my insurance and how much it would cost to get a strep test. The staff was rude and kept saying they’d put me on hold and then hang up. Then when I would call back they would immediately hang up. I feel like these are standard questions and who ever was working the front desk that day decided to put in a lot more effort to not help.

Ive now been to the Midwest Express Clinic in the West Loop twice and both were great experiences. The first time I went was for an annual physical and it went great. I had to wait a little bit because they are a smaller clinic and there were people ahead of me, but once I got looked at the experience was smooth.The second time I went I get in and got out very quick. The staff is extremely nice and makes you feel welcomed. Im happy I found them and will continue to come here.

I only want to leave this review so the nurses can understand how uncomfortable they made me. I was naked in the room with my legs on stirrups with the nurse practitioner and two separate nurses simple walked in without knocking and stared at my naked body. They said sorry however a mistake like that should not have even occurred as the door was closed. My experience other than that was fine but I hope this review lets the nurses there know that privacy is really important to guests and that their mistake made me really uncomfortable.

The clinic was neat and clean. Also the staff is professional and made me feel comfortable as well as cared for. By the way they great coffee while you wait to be seen...

Ive been here a few times for flu tests and such, but yesterday I had to visit for a very nasty cut from a kitchen accident. They got me in super quickly and treated me right away. I was quite panicked, but they were lovely and helped me stay calm. I was in and out in only an hour. This is my go-to urgent care and I have always had a great experience.

Very nice office! Parking lot in the same building (entrance is on the opposite side of the building from the front door). Speedy iPad check-in process and pretty short wait times. Nothing bad to say about the experience.

The staff was super sweet. I came in super sick & the doctor was able to see me quickly. She listened and provided education regarding why my ear infection was reoccurring. She took care of me better than my own PCP back in Boston! Thankful for her. I was able to get my antibiotics within a few hours I felt extremely better.💓💓

I been here twice and both experiences were great. The front desk receptionist was very friendly they checked you in and let you know your wait time so you won’t be surprise in case they’re super busy. The doctors were very informative and seem to be understanding. I would definitely drive 45 minutes if I needed urgent care.

I went here with my 3 year old yesterday and latera was the best. She was nice and patient. It was our first time coming to this location and I loved it! I loved the lobby , the cleanliness of the place and latera kept my child occupied and quiet when I went to restroom by giving her toys and stickers. The visit was amazing.

I have been to Midwest Express 3X in 3 weeks! All three doctors have been fantastic! And I did not have to wait long at all. Great service. Wonderful doctors & practitioners!! Thank you for helping me heal.

My daughter came down with fever and a rash. We took her as a walk in and she was seen pretty quickly. The staff were kind and attentive. We were able to get a treatment plan going for her. Honestly, it was a great experience.

I was on work assignment in Chicago and feeling poorly. I looked at reviews for local urgent care options and stumbled on Midwest. The portal was easy to use and I got an appointment right away.The nurses ad doctors were thoughtful and thorough! I wish being sick was always this easy.Thank you all for caring for me away from home!

I got in fast to see a doctor, front desk was very friendly, excellent customer service, medical assistant were very friendly. Doctor was on point sent my script over. I was on my way!! Would recommend coming here for fast results.

One of the best clinics I’ve ever been too! Went for a work physical and was in and out. Most places I had to wait over an hr just to get told they couldn’t do my physical. I called before going in the staff was very helpful and coming in the staff was very friendly!!

Its nice and clean. Staff is great. BUT you should know the they sometimes have only one provider seeing patients, so unfortunately, wait times can be quite long.

I have been coming to M.E. for a decade now and have always been extremely satisfied with the service providers. I have sent at least 5 referrals to the Greektown location over the years because the staff does a great job getting you in quickly and thoroughly diagnosing whats going on.

My chief of complaint was not answered by results I received so I have no idea if my issue is resolved so now I have to seek out more medical care. I will be informing my insurance of this issue as well as letting all my friends and family know to seek urgent care somewhere other than this establishment. I tried to contact the location to speak with the PA who assessed me and was told I would need to come in for a new appointment to ask about my results just so they can bill my insurance again. Please seek out your primary health care provider or another urgent care clinic, this place is a joke and insurance rip off.

Dr. Alma was awesome and Angela help me get the documents I needed fast and easy. Will come back if another emergency occurs. Hopefully no time soon..😁

I got very good care once I was seen. It was quite busy the day I went and I had to wait awhile. I was feeling very very bad the waiting was miserable. But that happens. Everyone was caring and understanding.

Staff was great - I had a bad reaction to a shot and China and her team were very helpful for ~30mins

Requested an early appt for next day and only waited about 5 minutes. A PA came in and did vitals and the dDR came in shortly to discuss. I needed a few X-rays from a fall and got those done in 10 minutes. Doc came back and reviewed and turned out I had a fractured toe. Gave me instructions on further care and out of the appt in less than 1 hour. The Dr. was great and office staff very professional.

We had a great experience! The staff was attentive and cheerful, and my 4 year old had a great time getting diagnosed with strep. Highly recommend!

It was a busy time for them when I walked in. Saw a nurse super quick to give information. The doctor pretty soon after that. I Siad this isnt right, so step one was some over the counter stuff and if it got worse they will have antibiotics ready on file. Been two days and Im already feeling better per her recondmendation. The place was very well put together. They were super organized and wait time wasn’t too long. The nurses and front desk were so sweet and amazing. And the vibe was so calming. And they were able to help me out last minute cause I couldn’t find any doctor office that would take me last minute. 10/10

The staff was great!! The process from check in to check out was seamless and professional throughout. One of the best same day clinic experiences I’ve had.

I didnt have an appointment but was able to walk in and was seen within 30 min. The front desk and all of the medical providers were inviting and professional. My prescriptions were called in immediately and I was home within 2 hours of when I left. Very impressed. Will definitely be back.

Our visits with Midwest are always pleasant. The staff is fast, efficient, and courteous. They have X-RAY and that’s a plus. The location is convenient for my family and their parking lot is just across the street. I didn’t give 5 stars because of the parking, however. The spots are small and limited.

From the front desk to the staff in the back, 10/10. And the front desk ladies, man, they deal with some stuff and they have such patience. And the back staff, quick, empathetic and to the point. Very grateful they are in my building

Very frustrating experience. The clinic needs a better online signup process. The website says that the times listed are not appointment times, but labeling something ‘visit time’ clearly implies they have availability to see patients in that general timeframe. I wanted bring my child in for an urgent care appointment, and the website showed available times every 5 minutes starting pretty much immediately, which suggested they were not busy. When I showed up the waiting room was full and I was told that there would also be a long wait once we were called to the back, because they only had one provider. So my daughter was not seen for over an hour and half after the visit time. If their website had accurately indicated their availability, I would have gone somewhere else.

You can schedule an appointment ahead of time which sped up the process a ton. Jessica was absolutely wonderful to work with - very knowledgable and great bedside manner!

Waste of money. couldnt do anything. and even charged me for a urine and pregnancy test for no reason. nothing could be done, but wish they could have spared me the time to listen to them to just tell me nothing could be done. spoke to the doctor for 3 minutes?

I don’t know what changes were made at Midwest Express Clinic located in the west loop but my wait time has been cut in half and getting test results back the next day that used to take 4 or 5 days I would recommend this location to anyone

Update:I’ve been coming back to get all my medical needs checked and this place is run much better. You still have to wait a while in the rooms for the physician to see you but it still beats waiting to be seen by my primary which takes much longer than here. The physician on staff there now is amazing with bedside manners and takes their time with you.If I could give this place a -100 I would. Prime example of horrible healthcare system in US. I come in at 5:30pm with my daughter and they only had 1 person in the waiting room. The receptionist tells me “they reached their capacity for the day and can’t take anymore patients”. WOW. Is this an urgent care? We had no choice but to leave. Then at 7:30pm we drive by and it’s still open with one person in the waiting area. How can we in a place of a “pandemic” have an urgent care at 5:30pm deem themselves at capacity limit with no one in the waiting room and still stay open 2.5Hours later still accepting patients. Wrong on all levels. I wish I could say I was African American to call this racism but I’m just a single whiteMom trying to take care of her daughter under an overly sensitive CPS school system.

Went in earlier this week for a TB Test for work. Signed in on the kiosk and was greeted by a warm and welcoming black woman with braids and glasses. She got me checked in quickly and administered my TB Test. I came back in a few days later for my reading and was in and out quickly and efficiently. Great customer service and clean environment!

Everyone was really welcoming and my nurse made me feel very comfortable i’ll definitely be continuing to go here!!

Our experience at this clinic is as great. They saw us quickly, were very friendly and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back.

My visit took place on 4/10/24.I didnt see a provider, I had a nurse visit for a B12+lipo. The receptionist may have been new but she was disorganized, rude and very nonchalant as respect to the patients in the lobby waiting. Calling patients up to the desk for business, but making them stand and wait as she took multiple calls and answered multiple questions on those calls. Instead of answering the phone and asking callers to hold in order to give proper respect to patients she had standing in front of her, she took calls and answered multiple questions. When I got called up to the desk, she did the same thing to me while running my payment. She then took the call to the back (without explaining anything), I attempted to stopped her and asked her if she could finish processing my payment and for my receipt, she responded shed be back! By the time shed returned, the payment had timed out and she had to process the payment again. But she didnt own that either telling me the computer malfunctioned, even tho she was able to process other payments before and after mine. Her lack of care was most apparent when the nurse asked if my visit was for a regular B12 shot and she responded yes. The nurse drew up the injection and called me in, I asked if it was a regular or w lipo and it was regular. If I hadnt caught it, I would have received the WRONG INJECTION. She should always double check before confirming when medication or injections are being given because that could be a liability. It doesnt seemed she was properly trained but her attitude was very poor and I dont know if you can train that out of someone.

This place was fast and efficient! I am an out of towner and called around for pricing. It was also reasonably priced. Everyone was very nice and listened and helped solve my issue.

I love this place. First time patient and Ill be back if the need arises for me or my family members. My daughter actually referred me here because she was so impressed when she took my grandson there. I see why. The atmosphere is great and theyre extremely friendly and get you in and out in a timely manner. My nurse practitioner (I wished I remembered her name) was wonderful. She took the time with me and addressed my issue with the best of care. She was xtremely professional and down to earth. XRay tech was great as well. The only part I didnt care for is that I have to stay off my foot for 2 weeks. Lol. I stink at sitting still. Drs orders. I have to follow them if I want to recover. 😊😊

The nurses and doctors were incredibly nice and understanding. Overall, my visit was a great experience. I presented several severe cold and flu symptoms and they first tested me to make sure it wasn’t strep, flu or covid and then prescribed me the right antibiotics since it was a bacterial infection. Overall an incredible service, I had to wait a bit before my appointment but considering I booked it online just a couple hours before my allotted time and all other clinics in town were full for two weeks it was actually very fast! I am so glad I live near such a useful and good quality service that can be accessed so quickly and easily.

Horrible service here also. Where is my information? I have been to the clinic on Chicago the horrible front desk person says I’m not in the system. Your security and safety will be compromised at this clinic. Be very careful with the information you disclose.

Our recent clinic visit was a 10/10, all thanks to the attentive staff, particularly Ashley and Emily. Our 2-year-old son wasnt feeling well, and both Ashley and Emily were incredibly accommodating and caring. They made reviewing his symptoms a fun and comfortable experience for him. In just an hour, we were in and out, and his prescription was ready at our nearby pharmacy. Thank you!

This was by far one of my best experiences with any medical facility. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly, efficient and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I showed up with two young children, both whom had strep throat. (Nightmare)The facility was nice and clean. They had children sized masks readily available. They also had lollipops and stickers which made the entire experience much better.The medical staff is extremely proficient and knowledgeable.Everyone kept apologizing for the wait… But honestly it wasn’t that bad. I expected much longer.The local pharmacy kept messing up the prescription they called in and they were extremely responsive and even called them back three times to make sure my daughter got the correct prescription.Thank you all!

Would avoid this Urgent Care Facility to avoid headaches, stress ontop of existing medical issues.Front Desk Interaction:Upon my arrival, after registering online, I encountered a delay in being greeted by the front desk staff. When the attendant did arrive, her demeanor was noticeably agitated, which may have inadvertently affected the quality of service provided to those waiting. It would be beneficial to ensure that all staff members are trained to handle their responsibilities with a consistently professional and patient-focused approach, regardless of internal stressors.Prescription Handling and Communication:There was a miscommunication regarding the location of my prescription delivery. It was stated that the medication would be sent to the pharmacy closest to my home; however, it was not. Additionally, the dosage of the medication prescribed was higher than what was discussed during my consultation with the doctor. This discrepancy not only necessitated further adjustments but also raised concerns about the potential for adverse health effects. Attention to detail in prescription processing is critical, and I suggest implementing a verification process to confirm that all prescriptions are accurate and properly communicated to the patients chosen pharmacy.Provider-Patient Communication:Lastly, it is imperative that there is clear and careful communication between the healthcare provider and the patient. Ensuring that the provider is attentive to the patients medical history and current needs will help prevent similar instances in the future. Perhaps a follow-up protocol could be established, allowing patients to confirm their understanding and agreement with the prescribed medication before leaving the facility.I hope will be constructive and lead to improved patient care and satisfaction.

Great urgent care. My first time here was awesome, the team was able to assist with what I needed in a timely fashion. Everyone was also pleasant throughout my time of being seen 👍🏾

We went to the clinic for the first time and we really liked the treatment from the moment we called, very friendly, the first and third time a very professional staff. The second time we went to follow up on my little ones treatment, the nurse who treated him was not very friendly.Also we are self pay patients and it is not as expensive as we thought, it is even cheaper than making the appointment and going to the hospital even for an emergency.

I’ve been to this location a few times (for my own health and to tag along with my partner when he’s been ill.) All experiences have been solid—even on busy days. One of the most notable aspects of this location is the great quality of providers. We’ve seen PAs and NPs at this location, and they’ve all been super thorough, helpful and caring.I had a particularly great experience on Nov. 27 with my provider, Mev. She was very friendly, truly listened to my concerns and gave me a thorough exam. This was one of the first times I’ve been to an urgent care clinic and haven’t felt rushed or dismissed as “just a cold”.She assured me she’d follow up with x-ray results later that day, and I heard from her less than an hour later with an update and a thorough plan of care. She answered all my questions, and set up a follow up appointment for later in the week.I was very impressed and felt that she left no stone unturned.The medical assistant at this appointment, AJ, was great. She was very friendly, listened, asked follow up questions about my medications and was extremely polite and easy to talk to. It didn’t feel like a “going through the motions” experience, which was greatly appreciated!Visiting an urgent care facility is never a fun experience—especially when one doesn’t feel well. I would definitely return to this location for their caring staff and thorough providers.

My experience at this urgent care clinic has been nothing short of amazing. Even though I didn’t check in online, the short time was only 10-15 minutes. The wait time for the doctor was around 20 minutes, depending on the number of patients there and what brought them in. They were able to schedule me for an ultrasound on the same day. I just can’t say enough good things about this clinic and the staff that works here. They are attentive and answer all your questions. I have been feeling anxious lately but I hardly felt anxious while waiting. That’s how great the service was. Highly recommend!

I was a new patient with Midwest Express Clinic and walked-in for my first visit. Elizabeth at the front desk was professional, efficient, and friendly to answer all my questions. Wait time was good overall, nothing to complain about. Bridget helped me to get some basic information collection before I got to see Dr. Liz, who was absolutely professional and knew exactly my issue of my visit. I’m feel much better with the prescription and will do a follow-up check this Friday. Overall it was a great and pleasant experience! Great location, friendly staff, relaxing environment. I would definitely recommend visiting this clinic if needed!

Efficient and effective. Still confirming the treatment cured my symptoms, but the doctor appointment and diagnosis process was quick and easy. Really liked my Doctor as well - caring, kind and smart. They even made an exception for me to get my prescription faster due to work conflicts. Highly recommend !

Everyone was very nice, except the medical assistant, she kept repeating herself like sit down on the bench. I had to tell her please I can understand you first time around. Other than that it was a nice visit. I was in and out. Like 2 hrs.Following up, they did reach out to me very concerning about my experience and apologized. They handled the issue and reassured me it wont happen again. They really care about their patients, I can say that.

Staff was very professional and good at their jobs, quickly diagnosing my issue. Minimal wait time, I was surprised how quick I was in and out.

I got in line virtually, and only waited 10-15 min to be seen. The provider who helped me was kind, attentive and thorough. I ended up needing specialized imaging for which the tech was fully booked for several days, so my provider called the tech personally to ask her to squeeze me in, knowing I needed to be seen before traveling. She also followed up with me personally on the results. I’m very appreciative of the fast and high quality care I received.

If you need an urgent care, go here. The Midwest Express in the West Loop has the most friendly staff, a sparkling clean facility, and trustworthy, knowledgeable providers. I’ve been here twice and had the same provider, Mevlida Vranjaca, PA-C, both times. She is kind, empathetic, and does her absolute best to help you. The only potential con is the wait time (depending on when you go), but what else would you expect from an urgent care in a densely populated area? Just be patient! I recently had a workers comp incident and had to go to a different, nearby urgent care and it was a horrid experience. Made me appreciate this clinic even more!

Great quick service! There was a two hour wait in the ER for a x ray. I got in to see Midwest the next day. Ashley went above and beyond to get me a copy of my x ray. She was patient and waited on the phone with me until I received it. Turns out I wrote my email down wrong so after multiple tries Ashley was able to get it sent to the right email! Thanks again 10/10 will come back for any urgent care needs. Best part is they accept all types of insurance!

It was my first time visiting and I am very grateful for their care and service. The front desk staff, nurse practitioner and doctor were very welcoming and compassionate! I felt very safe and they took their time to listen to my concerns. I was surprised how calm I felt, I love the energy of this place. Everything was done quickly, but calmly and professionally. This is the type of energy and space we need when we feel unwell, I am very grateful I came here and I will definitely be back for follow ups. I highly recommend them!!

The Midwest Express Clinic on Adams was clean, very neat. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making you feel welcome and comfortable during your visit. Nurse Practitioner Mev, was friendly, patient, and thorough. Mev listened, took the time to address all of my concerns and provided excellent care. The fact that Mev also scheduled a follow-up appointment for me shows the commitment to ensuring my well-being. Great experience!

I visited the urgent care clinic with my niece on Dec 10, 2023, seeking prompt medical attention. The initial rapid strep test came back negative, but we received a call today on Jan 2, 2024, stating it was, in fact, positive. This delay resulted in my niece being without antibiotics for three weeks, and unfortunately, two other family members fell ill with strep throat during this time.While the clinic provided urgent care services, the delayed test result had a significant impact on our experience. The communication regarding the test results could have been more timely, preventing the spread of illness within our family.

Overall, I would recommend this clinic for walk in services. The check in process was smooth and the front desk clearly explained the insurance/paperwork side of things. The PA did a good job and clearly explained the treatment plan. I did not give 5 stars due to my experience with the CMA. Our small child was not feeling well and in a clinic with strangers. It is normal to be frightened and hesitant. What was upsetting was being told that I needed to teach my child better. This commentary was not necessary for delivery of care.

If you don’t have insurance, don’t come here. they wanted me to pay everything out of pocket before i was even seen by a doctor and told me there was nothing they could do to work with me. really wish they could have helped me.

They are friendly and pleasant. Got seen within 30 mins of arrival while I waited... They have coffee! (Keurig). I was grateful for that. The complimentary parking at the Walgreens across the street makes this location one you should not hesitate to go. You will be treated well!

I have been experiencing a cough for at least three months due in part to some conditions in my basement. On January 3rd, I called Midwest Express and was seen right away. They checked everything including my right ear which had a substantial amount of earwax that needed to be removed. Once it was done, my cough went away and I was able to sleep through the night.

I have been struggling to get the support I need for medical care from Northwestern. A friend suggested I try this clinic. They were so helpful, yes we can instead of no we cant. It served my basic immediate need, friendly, professional. If you need immediate care or tired of the medical system run around, I recommend this clinic.

Who has time to be sick? Not me. This is my go to clinic if your a busy person who wants great service and needs to keep it moving. The staff is very friendly and attentive. You’ll be in and out. They had my meds ready at my local pharmacy right after I left. My physician Bolanos was excellent.

The reception staff was great, and the medical assistant and doctor were patient and attentive.However, I, unfortunately, can’t recommend this clinic for anyone who is currently low-income.I’m currently experiencing homelessness and on Medicaid. Before going to Midwest Express Clinic to receive care I checked their website to see if they accept Medicaid, and it said that they do. When I gave my Medicaid card to the receptionist there was no problem.A few weeks after being treated, though, I received a bill for over $400. The bill indicated that Medicaid had not paid for any of my treatment.Receiving an unexpected large bill is a hardship for me right now. It will take me some time to be able to pay off the bill, and I’m hoping that it does not get sent to collections before I’m able to pay it off.Also, be aware that when you go to receive care at Midwest Express Clinic they will make you put a card on file in order to receive care. In a lucky coincidence, I had to cancel my debit card and get a new one due to a fraudulent charge on my account, so they were not able to automatically charge my debit card for the $400. If you can’t afford to have the full cost of your care automatically taken out of your checking account, especially if your insurance ends up not covering things you expected to be covered, I recommend you go elsewhere.It’s a shame, because the medical care really was good, and I don’t know if there are any urgent/immediate cares that take Medicaid in Chicago.

I forgot my doctor & medical assistants names but I was in on Wednesday & they were the best. Staff here is always so super friendly & every time i visit this clinic it’s clean and i’m in and out with a diagnosis and prescription within 30-1 hour. They do their job thoroughly, quickly and make you feel super comfortable. i’m fortunate to have come across this clinic, they say they value their customers and they really do. I hope the staff is happy and treated right. They also except goverment insurance (Medicaid)

Booked an appt online. Was seen within 10 mins. Took my 5 month old and they were screened and sent to ER. Grateful for the clinics efficiency and speed to get my baby well.

Went in because of difficulty breathing due to herniated disc. Checked in online prior to my visit and saw Dr. Maeve (Mev?). The wait wasn’t bad at all. She was super informed, reassured me and answered all my questions. I had a scheduled appointment to see a neurosurgeon and let her know, so she was conservative with her prescription. Left feeling much better and with plans to improve upon my conditions until seeing the neurosurgeon.

It’s never really pleasant to go to an immediate care but the staff is always friendly here. Special stars for nurse practitioner Frida (she’s from Turkey) not sure about spelling of her name. I have never witnessed such delicacy when talking to a child and explaining what she’s doing. Prior to testing my boy for flu rsv covid etc, she so kindly spoke to him telling him to trust her and to place his arm on her wrist and if it hurt to move her arm. Just the way she spoke to him and her demeanor towards him was so incredibly touching and much appreciated. She’s a GEM!

The best experience weve had at a clinic ever! The staff, nurses and doctors are wonderful! Nice, helpful, do their best to accommodate everyones need as fast as they can. And everyone is so happy in the workplace. We were kept up-to-date on our wait, they helped us with parking and emailed us our COVID test results when we needed to leave to get to an event. I cant say enough good stuff about the folks at this Midwest Express Clinic. Thank goodness for kind, helpful, happy folks like this that are in the medical field keeping us healthy and safe! I was about to go to an urgent care for some pain symptoms I was having but I’m glad I found Midwest express clinic. My typical experience using urgent care is very long and takes hours. I was seen so fast. They helped me with exactly what I needed and was out the door in about an hour.FYI for those being seen for an ultrasound, it is an actual appointment time that you would need to be there on time vs the regular estimated “hold your place in line” check-in time visits.

ROBBERY. THEY NEVER FOLLOW UP, EVEN THOUGH YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICES. ROBBERY. Would give 0 stars if I could. Never have I ever had such a bad experience at an urgent care in my life.The PA wrote my an order for a CT scan that didnt have an order number or enough information for the insurance or imaging centers to accept it. Realistically, the order was extremely vague and had no information except the scan to be done and clinics information.Ive called so many times to get an order number, and the front desk just tells me theyll relay it to the doctor / PA. Its been over a month, and Ive never received a call back. Additionally, when I call, I usually am on hold for absurdly long periods, after which the machine will automatically hang up with a voice mail directory, and Ill have to redial and get hold again, restarting the painful process.I also got blood tests done, and of course, I never got the results back, despite being told itd get emailed to me a few days after. On the website, it said youd be able to check results via the patient portal, the setup instructions of which should have been e-mailed after my visit. Of course, I didnt get an e-mail to setup the patient portal. When I called, they hadnt even initiated the process because they didnt have my email, yet I wrote it on forms and was never notified.The logistical and operational incompetence is baffling and comedically bad. What a joke!

Make sure to book your apt/“check in” online beforehand and there’s less than a 5-10 min wait once you arrive.My physician Mevlinda V. was one of the best providers I’ve ever had, and I work in healthcare so I can be quite picky with my dr’s. She was kind, attentive, informative, great bedside manner and really took the time to break things down step by step and explain things.Don’t sleep on this urgent care clinic yall, they’re great

From my first phone call to setting up a follow up appointment, and everything in between, everyone was courteous and helpful. The clinic is clean and organized and staff is warm and efficient. I no longer have health insurance but the out of pocket costs here are relatively affordable. My overall experience was great.

The staff is super friendly. The 3 times ive been there ive been taken care of pretty quickly. When the hospital failed to give me proper treatment for an accident, this urgent care was able to stitch me up in no time at all. It was also way cheaper than an ER visit.

First time at this location on Wednesday 12/6 during the afternoon. It was busy the entire evening but I’m grateful for the team’s patience, professionalism, and care. Even the extra time spent researching my rare illness. Special thanks to Mev, really appreciate the care.

This was honestly the best experience I have ever had at a clinic. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I usually get pretty nervous but I felt much more relaxed after interacting with the staff. The music station is also pretty great.

I am very happy with the way I was seen and treated at the Midwest Clinic. Staff was very helpful, diagnosed me and gave me the medication needed to get better, since I wasn’t able to see m regular doctor. If you need quick medical care come to Midwest Clinic.

Waiter was great, refilled my waters perfectly on time as soon as it was just a little bit from the bottom, so it feels like Im drinking a neverending refreshing stream of cool water. The bread was cold but the butter was warm which seemed wrong. My cacio e pepe was incredible, so creamy and rich - My partner got the fried ravioli and the caprese salad and reported good news. The TV was only playing K-dramas without subtitles so we couldnt tell what was happening. All of the restrooms were clean and unsmelt.

Developed nausea and vomiting on trip to Chicago. Even a swallow of water caused vomiting. Went to Midwest Express Clinic - easy check-in, was seen in less than an hour. Given anti-nausea med and stayed there until I could drink water without throwing up. Was given prescription for more anti-nausea meds that I filled across the street at pharmacy. I am SO HAPPY and GRATEFUL for the compassionate care that I received at Midwest Express Clinic. I got on Greyhound bus several hours later and did not have any further gastrointestinal problems.

Great experience. The clinic was slightly backed up and obviously understaffed but they were up for it. Despite the staffing issues, Dominique and Elizabeth were great and treated my daughter like she was the only one there. Dominique even followed up with us the next morning regarding my daughter’s prescription and to see how she was feeling. I will definitely return for any future medical needs. Friendly staff and a clean facility.

Really nice clean office, staff is professional, wait time has been 10 to 20 mins. I have seen 2 excellent MDs at south loop. Both MDs were very patient and listened to my concerns and provided excellent treatment for my illness. Had walking or Community pneumonia and didnt know it. Midwest is now my go to for my B12 shots monthly.

I had to come back 2 days later due to timing, but that can happen in some situations and this presented no real issues to me at all. The staff was amazing. My 8 month old baby has been sick for 2 weeks & his provider wasnt able to see him. I booked a check in yesterday and was seen right away. From the lady in the front desk being warm and welcoming to the ladies in the back being just as great! The NP he seen was Gabrielle and she was amazing and super helpful on what I should do to help my baby. This was only his second time coming here & both times the expierence being wonderful. The service at Midwest is commendable, surpassing other urgent care facilities nearby. However, the billing department at Midwest has proven to be problematic a TOTAL NIGHTMARE. This marks the 4th or 5th occasion where issues have arisen. Despite paying through the HSA portal, they claimed non-receipt and insisted on a direct payment through their portal. This contrasts with other medical providers who received our payment seamlessly. As a result, they refused to treat us as though we owed them money until we presented proof of payment, revealing issues within their billing department.Because of this reason, we wont be coming back. If youre paying with your insurance, please make sure you keep all the records.

I recently came in after being sick for almost a week with little resolution of my symptoms. Even though this was an urgent care and I was a walk in patient, my wait was minimum. The woman at the front desk kept me updated about my wait and made the entire process feel easy. My nurse practitioner, Anum, was ver knowledgeable and compassionate. She started me on treatments and scheduled a follow up to monitor my symptoms. I would definitely recommend for anyone needing quality urgent care.

Came in because I’d been dealing with flu like symptoms and spent over $75 on some drugstore meds that didn’t even work.The registration process was seamless and they came highly recommended by a close friend. The wait time wasn’t unbearable either, I probably waited about 45 mins as a walk in, maybe less than that. The staff and nurses were kind, efficient, and explained things in plain language. Even when I sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, it was easy to call them and have them send it to the correct one. I say all this to say, if you’re dealing with something that says to go to urgent care, go to Midwest Express Clinic in the west loop.

I registered online and booked a time to be placed in line. When I got there I checked in at the kiosk, and did final check in with front desk. The nurse and doctor were both very attentive to my medical need. The prescribed medication was sent to the pharmacy of my choice, and I had my medication within a couple of hours.

It was my first time visiting and I was very pleased. The staff were very friendly and immediately acknowledged me as I entered the clinic. The nurse practitioner was very thorough and understanding. She was patient and concerned. The staff followed all proper steps in assisting me with my injuries.

This is my second time at Midwest Express Clinic for my boys and both times we had great experiences. Front desk, MA, and Nurse Practitioner were all very kind and friendly, and listened to my concerns for my children’s health. I will definitely recommend anyone who needs a urgent care appointment to come here.

I went to an urgent clinic around the area and they told me the wait was 2 hours, so I left and found Midwest Express Clinic and I’m glad I did! They were able to get me (a new patient) in and out within 30 minutes - a plus that the staff was super friendly!! If you’re looking for a place to go, I would definitely recommend going here.

I was provided information to arrive at 7:29p to be seen for some health concerns that my PCP wanted addressed asap but was unable to get me in for a visit. I registered online, providing personal information, with the understanding that I’d receive care for my health concerns. However, I was denied being seen because I was unaware/unable to provide a credit card to place on file. I had already paid for street parking. I’m upset because it left me little time to be seen outside of an emergency room. The suggested that I should ask someone to provide their financial information on my behalf. I wasn’t comfortable with that given that the credit card would remain on file. Then the receptionist proceeded to ask the providers if they would be willing to make an exception and I was told that they declined. It’s an unethical medical practice to obtain personal identification information for services that are contingent upon provision of payment information without being warned upfront. This should have stopped the required online registration process before arrival to the clinic.

I was very impressed by the level of care I received by the nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants at the Midwest Clinic. They were patient and attentive to my needs. They were accommodating when needed and willing to consider alternatives when necessary. I would recommend their services and will return if needed.

If I could give this place -5 stars, I would.The service is average, whatever.Their billing department is the worst I have ever dealt with.First of all, I give them a copy of my drivers license to copy my address from, they make a mistake noting down a nonexistent apt number.So they send my bill to the wrong address, the address doesnt exist really, they should have received a return to sender, a reasonable place would actually give you a courtesy call, send you an email.NO they automatically send your account to collections.After almost 5 months, you receive a text message asking you to pay the 9.72 dollars you owe them to protect your credit basically threatening you.They almost ruined my credit score by sheer incompetence and arrogance.An email or a courtesy call would have solved all this issues.And they wont acknowledge making a mistake. Every thing is per policy, Lord praise the policy like it is some infallible scripture.Also seems like their billing department is ran like a sweat shop to save a dime, you cant get a hold of anyone, you end up waiting an hour on the phone until the call automatically drops off, no wonder they make so many mistakes.I would rather die of leprosy than go here next time, just for the amount of stress they caused.

Didnt get the name of the girl who helped me with my first visit but she was very nice and made it a quick and pleasant visit. went again the other day and it was a girl named bridgette i believe. she had a horrible attitude to where it seemed like she didnt even want to be there. nobody likes to work but if you hate your job that much, just quit and bring your misery somewhere else.

Great experience! I arrived as a walk-in, and the staff was super helpful, fast and friendly. I had a pretty sore throat, and they were able to do a rapid test to make sure I didn’t have strep. In order to be sure, they also sent in swabs for a culture test. Overall, I felt the doctors and staff paid close attention to patients. Would recommend and will be back for anything else minor.

I came back from vacation with a sinus infection and needed to be seen to get meds for it. I tried 5 other minute clinics earlier in the day. They either refused to see me for 7 hours and were rude to me or werent open or their online registration system had errors. There was a wait at Midwest Express Clinic, but that happens. I was just so glad to be able to be seen, they were super friendly and professional, and were super helpful in helping me get what I needed. 1 day in and I am feeling SO much better! Thank you to Midwest Express Clinic - the only place I will go again in the future if I need a minute clinic. =)

I Called the night before and it was a few minutes before closing and they took the time to register me for the next day and the service that morning was great.

On my initial visit for sickness (asthma flair-up), I was treated with care and respect. The provider wanted to treat the problem, rather than tell me I was having an asthma attack (which I would know after dealing with asthma for 44 years) and needed to be rushed to the ER (this is what has happened on at least 2-3 occasions at Northwestern’s West Loop urgent care facility). I was asked to return for a follow-up visit at which time I was again examined and treated. Thank you for your wonderful care!

Got same day appointment. Was pleasantly surprised at how promptly I was seen and and how courteous the staff was. Especially impressed with Shannon, who is an incredible asset to your organization. I would definitely use them again should the need arise.

Doctor did not have any experience, my husband was in high fever could not even stand up and we showed all the Medication he is on, but doctor did not even know what to prescribe him now even tried to further diagnose the problem

I came here yesterday, and it was basically the best case scenario. I was able to sign in completely on the iPad, didn’t end up waiting for a long time in the waiting room, and the NP was really nice and made me feel comfortable (I had a kinda sensitive issue). She was able to treat it fairly quickly and got me started on antibiotics and gave me lots of tips to accelerate healing. 100% would use this as my urgent care place in Chicago.

Visited this clinic last week and had Anum Haq do my exam. She was prompt and thorough with the exam making sure all my needs were met and went above and beyond to provide me with the best service. Never been to a clinic that has such diligent staff who make u feel caredfor.

My daughter was a walk-in patient, as I was unsure how to reserve a spot online. I asked the front desk team members how to do this for future visits, and they explained the process. I found the front desk staff to be nice, approachable and helpful. Overall, the experience was wonderful at all points of care, i.e. front desk, nurse & treating physician. I appreciated the friendliness and efficiency of all team members. The physician was wonderful. She had a very pleasant manner & was thorough in her examination and explanation of diagnosis. She also was very helpful in answering my questions about clinic services, e.g. sports physicals. Finally, I had a follow-up question after our visit/after I had left the clinic, so popped back into the facility about 10 minutes after I had left. The front desk team member and other doctor on duty helped to answer my question in a thoughtful, kind manner. I highly recommend this clinic.

Got tested for covid twice here. They are super accommodating, customer service and nurses are very informative and friendly! Spent a total of 20 minutes here both times super fast and efficient. Painless test, got results in three days the first time still waiting for current ones but it’s only been 36 hours!

This is the first time I’ve been to an urgent care in the city. I needed something close to work. The receptionist, Ashley, was clear in her communication and made the process easy. She was attentive to me and even made me laugh. Kim was the nurse and very calm and gentle. Emily was the doctor and was very thorough. She didn’t rush things which I appreciate. I’d go back again! Great care!

I have had Covid testing at a couple of different locations, but this was an experience better than most! They have a good system to waste as little of your time as possible and free parking in a lot right across the street. I scheduled my wait in line reservation online at 3 for a 3:30 on a Saturday and was totally done by 4:30. The nurse and doctor I worked with were so pleasant and friendly. The waiting room and exam rooms felt impeccably clean! They are open 8-8 every day which is extremely helpful. I will be going back should I need a last min walk in clinic. I highly recommend Shannon!

I brought my daughter in because of a UTI. Christina was so nice to her and extremely thorough in the examination. Everyone there is, and they do whatever they can to get their patients feeling better. The facility is clean and comfortable and very convenient.

First time coming to urgent care and i was pleasantly surprised! The receptionist (Nicole) was friendly and welcoming, Carol (X-ray) was very sweet, and Mike (PA) listened to my concerns (instead of dismissing them). I came in because I suspected I had strep throat and they were able to get the results back to me in just a few minutes. From check in to check out, i only spent around half an hour at med spring. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back here the next time I need urgent medical care!

Ive been to MedSpring in the West Loop twice and both times were great. Im always seen quickly, the check-in process is easy, and the service is great. I also like that you can make an appointment online. They have an art table in the waiting room and TV in the exam rooms, which helps if youve got kids.Most recently, I was seen by Emily the PA, as well as Carol and Veronica. The team was great, fast, and very thoughtful. The experience is so much more convenient and pleasant than a typical doctors office visit.

Updated Nov 2nd:Not much has changed.2 hour wait when having an appointment is unacceptable. Would have gladly come 2 hours later rather than wait.Blaring music inappropriate for a health clinic which was turned down once upon request but was back to rhe same in 5 minutes. A pounding headache made worse.So.many patients had no chairs to sit on.‐‐-----Appt at 11.44 but wasnt seen till 1.30. Super crowded waiting room felt very unsafe. Examination room clearly not sanitized between patients. Nice pleasant staff but need better organization.

Great experience here! I came in as a walk-in on a day that the office was closing early, a little less than an hour before they were closing. I HATE inconveniencing people, but the receptionist assured me that it was no problem and I would be seen no problem. She was quick, professional, and kind. The nurse and physician were both very kind and thorough as well. I was in and out in no time, but without feeling rushed. She sent my prescription over immediately and gave me tips on how to help with cough suppressant (because developing allergies at age 27 is a blast). Thank you to Olivia, Nicole, and Andrea!!

Doctor was extremely thorough and make sure that I understood my diagnosis before I left the clinic.

My experience was great. Front desk and medical staff were very welcoming, understanding, efficient and professional.

I needed to get a physical. Went in around noon, and had no wait time. Loved this place!! Super kid friendly. I had my two year old with me and she was a happy little camper. There is a small table and chairs, ready with paper and crayons place by a small television, and there was the same in the actual exam room...Im still floored by that one. Also, something small but notable, there was a small sofa in the room, and not the tight little chairs that you usually see, which I appreciated as a mom. They also offer free snacks and drinks as you wait, which came in handy with the little one. Staff was great. Overall great experience!!!

I went for blood work and a medical clearance. Hardly any wait. I had to bring my two kids with me and they left with lollipops, super hero masks, stickers and crowns. They made what is usually a stressful experience of coming with two kids in tow into something super easy. The providers are thorough, nice, and explain everything completely. This place and the employees are amazing.

I live in another state and had a sick daughter. Midwest saw my daughter and the service was awesome. Very quick and was able to get the visit done and prescription filled in under an hour.

Very helpful when I called to check about an appointment/walk in. The wait time was 0. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Helped diagnose and treat my issue quickly and professionally. Zero shame from the doctor, felt seen (y’all know how hard that is to find). Saved me money! Honestly, an incredible experience. I’ll be back for regular check ins and exams because of this!

They were able to diagnose what was wrong and sent me on my way with the prescription that I needed. We make Midwest Express our first call when we are not feeling well.Staff is always super friendly and very helpful.

Everyone was incredibly kind. Dr. Shannon had great energy and took her time to see if I had any questions. Everything was sanitized. Test was quick and painless. In and out in 10 minutes.UPDATE: My apologies - I DID get my results five days later however they didnt make into my main inbox so I never saw them. The email with results does not come from Express Minute Clinic alias so keep an eye out and search all folders. After posting I didnt have my results / couldnt reach the clinic, the clinic reached out promptly and resent my results. 5/5 experience.

Ive been coming here for a little over a month for a workmans comp injury. I really like the staff very friendly and efficient. Nurse Gabby is amazing. I live that she is genuinely concerned about my treatment and well-being.

Shannon is such a sweet lady! She was personable and kind and I felt in very good hands! Not to mention, I arrived at 8:30 for a COVID test and was greeted, seen by the nurse and Shannon by 9am. Such a wonderful experience! Great group of people who work here!

Best clinic EVER!! I am very grateful to these people. Five days ago on a train inbound to Chicago from Louisiana I discovered a rash that I knew was Lyme. (Chicago was only a layover in my trip.) With my travel logistics plus holiday weekend it would be several days before I would be able to get the medication I would need to combat the infection, and if there is much delay the infection can settle in much worse. I was very worried because I saw no way to get a doctor’s appointment in a city where I have no connection whatsoever. I called Midwest Express Clinic and amazingly enough a live person answered . No recording! No phone maze! Dominique took time to listen to me and gave me directions from the train station. The doctor was very kind, and gave me the prescription I needed. Within 2 hours of arriving in Chicago I had my medication in hand! I had anticipated having to grapple with an impossible problem in a large city, and instead I got the best care imaginable!! I got there early to my kids line appointments times and they still manage to see both of my kids earlier. Everyone was polite, quick while showing & performing excellent safety, & fast quality professional services. Most importantly they don’t discrimination nor do they have an attitude about doing their job & helping people!

I was seen by Elizabeth and Joanna yesterday and they were both wonderful. I’m always treated well here when I come in for covid testing or illness and it’s so appreciated! It’s also a relief to have somewhere to go on short notice.

My wife and I came in for an X-ray since she fractured her ankle. We then needed a disc to take to a ortho specialist at Northwestern. So I was called to pick it up and had to wait an hour just to pick up the disc. That’s isn’t the worst part. When we arrived at Northwestern today we were told the disc is completely blank and we have to redo all the scans. Embarrassing and unprofessional.
