I always receive great care! Dr. Brown is amazing and spends a lot of time with her patients. I’m glad they are seeing me through my high risk pregnancy!

I was referred here due to being high risk. The staff and Dr. Brown are rude. I went for an ultrasound, and the 1st person had left me in a comfortable position while waiting for Dr. brown (mind you my appointment was at 9:30 and I didn’t get seen until 10:30, no communication of them being behind) and as soon as she came she just started moving the table to the point of me being uncomfortable and she could have cared less. Also, the way she was speaking to me was very unprofessional. I refuse to come back to this office.

I Love this facility. I have been going here since I moved to Charlotte back in 2018. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I appreciate all the doctors and staff members for their dedication to women’s health and how timely they are to get back to you with lab results and answers to your health concerns.

I was referred here from my OBGYN to get further testing on my baby. Doctor brown was AMAZING, she made my family and I feel at home and welcome, we LOVED her! Also, We didn’t wait long at all in the waiting room. We went straight back to the room and was seen immediately. 10/10 great service would recommend!Thank you again DR. BROWN!!

If I could leave zero stars I probably would.I was referred here due to being super high risk. Our first appointment we met with Dr Brown. Due to my health issues I was told by my regular OB that I would need to have a c section, Dr brown was highly against this and wanted to send me off to a specialist to see if I could deliver my son normally. Not only that but she told my husband and myself to reconsider our family planning if I wanted to continue with myC section and acted like I just opted for one because I wanted it. What should have been a great appointment and first time seeing our son turned into me leaving in tears and begging my OB to never send me back. I went back for one final growth scan and never returned nor did I even listen to any advice given to me by Dr Brown.I delivered my son in Sept via c section and come to find out his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck 3 times. Which is extremely rare per my OB AND I would have had to have a c section regardless. So if I would have listened to any advice given to me by Dr Brown terrible things could have happened to my son or myself. All I can say for any woman who goes here is to advocate for yourself and your child. I am not the only one who has gone here and had a horrible experience after talking with friends and familymembers who have also gone here.If I ever have another baby I will do the same and refuse to go here. This place left me filled full of anxiety and sobbing.

I have been to this office with my sister twice now and am pretty disappointed in the overall experience. The drive to the office is over an hour for my poor sister. The wait time was greater than 45 minutes for both appointments although we arrived 10 minutes early for both visits. The staff was very unapologetic about the wait even though we told them that the delay was causing us to miss another appointment. The response was “it will be at least another 10-15 minutes before you have your scan”. As if it isn’t stressful enough to have to see a specialist because there is possibly a defect in your baby’s brain! Then you wait forever and can’t even get some sympathy and punctuality from the staff. What’s the point in making an appointment? We won’t be coming back to this office. It’s unfortunate because the MD was very friendly and thorough but there are plenty of great doctors around where you don’t have to deal with the rest.

I have not had a negative experience at all. I love Dr. Connors and Dr. Brown. They are attentive, have great bedside manner, and they listen to my concerns. I’ve pretty much seen everyone here and they’re all great doctors and good at what they do.

Im so disappointed in this facility. The doctor seemed very good, but everything else was miserable. There was no signage and I was told to go to the wrong place twice before I got to their offices. Because they are in the hospital no one can come with you, which makes total sense. What makes no sense is they dont tell you that until you are here. My husband sat in the car for hours waiting on me.My appointment started about 30 mins late, and as I said the dr seemed very good. They then sent me downstairs for bloodwork where Im still waiting. Im being told my wait time for a five minute blood test will be an hour or longer. This is apparently an everyday occurcurance but I wasnt warned for some reason. If this was my everyday dr versus someone I only had to come see one more time, Id be immediately finding a new doctor.

I was made to feel terrible on several occasions because they wanted me to do things that were not medically necessary at that time. Dr. Brown was angry and fussing because I had not started a medicine she prescribed when the pharmacy never received the prescription from her. They have NEVER been on time when I was in the office but will not communicate that with you so that you do not have to leave work as early.

Made to wait an hour, when I complained and threatened to leave and cancel the appointment, ta-da they were magically ready for me. Along with general staff rudeness and total cluelessness about my medical history, and lack of access to my electronic medical record, I will not be coming back. I submitted a letter of complaint with additional details to Atrium, and I will be submitting the same letter to my regular OB so that they know whats going on with this practice when they refer future patients to you. Overall, they ruined a baby ultrasound experience that should have been special. Would not recommend.

The wait time to be seen was super quick. I did get there about 30 mins early and the office didnt seem to be super busy. The staff was very friendly and reassuring. My ultrasound/ECHO was about 45 mins long and the wait time to see my actual doctor and get results was about an hour. Dr. Phillips was nice and thorough as well. Good experience.

This was the WORST experience... there are NO signs in Atrium that says “Women’s Institute”. NOBODY in the hospital knew what floor to go to, one lady said, “Yea I think it’s that way, I don’t know” and walked off. Another lady told me the 4th floor, then another lady said the 3rd floor then I finally found them on the 2nd floor. The lady that did my ultrasound was just as dry, no personality...smh! If I could’ve gone anywhere else but there I would’ve been happy. I read the horrible reviews before getting there and I must say they are true!!!

Staff was rude and very unprofessional in particular one of the RN’s named Meghan (short brown hair, tall, skinny) We waited 3.5 hours to be seen then was treated badly. No one came in to check on us for an hour and a half. Needless to say we will not be coming back here we will be going to Charlotte fromNow on.

Appointment was at 10:15 , at 12:05 I finally ask how long the wait will be. Not once was I told they were behind until 12:30. We were all told they were an hour behind. I hitch makes no sense as my appointment was at 10:15 and they called the delay at 12:05. Never again scheduling here.
