Been going here since 2014 for therapy. I was fortunate enough to be one of Dr.Codys first clients. I only remember the last page filling out the intake paperwork. What services are you seeking with us?. I Wrote. I dont know who I am. Dr.Cody guided me through profound adolescent trauma, first generation to treat their mental illness, and gender therapy. I can honestly say I trusted Dr.Cody and can attribute my academic success and holistic practices he taught me that I use to this day. Once retired, he hired a clinician I really clicked with and continue to see Kal on a regular basis. I cant speak for medical services here, but if you want personal growth, wisdom, and a new perspective on your life. This establishment saved me in every way imaginable.

I went there to support my partner.My partner asked if i could come in and support them for the reason we were there. A staff Member proceeded to ask my name, i stated my name (Kevin) The staff then said Sam, right? I said my name is Kevin. The staff said Im going to call you sam. As we are all in the room, the other staff chime in with various other names, john, Richard, etc...There was absolutely no need for the invalidation of my name. I was there to support my partner and Im met with hatred, with complete and total disregard for my name and felt like i was being demonized. I was kind, caring and supportive when this all was happening. I held my tongue, didnt say anything about it. I was abused by the staff and i am not ok with how they treated me.

I have only interacted with multiplestaff members over the telephone.But,I will sayEVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBERHAS TREATED ME WITHNOTHING BUT respect-compassion-Kindness& open ❤️d Caretoward My Situation .Treat people from beginning to end,as if they have known you as a patient for multiple years.

Results have been just exemplary. I can go to the beach for the first time in a decade and feel confident doing it.

This place has the most friendly staff i ever seen. From the people who escort you into the building, until its time to recover and go home, the staff are so sweet and supportive, and they do an amazing job of making everything comfortable. Nothing feels rushed, nothing felt like I shouldnt be there. They talked all the options over, and supported me 100%.Even while the procedure is taking place, the doctors and support ladies are so amazing!I feel I made the right decision choosing them to do my procedure.Thank you so much Equality health center

I loved my experience here today. I went in for my first Pap smear. The staff was very nice. A non judge-mental and welcoming environment is important especially when you’re exposing your body in that way. And I felt that here. A woman of faith I felt like I wouldn’t be welcomed into a place supporting LGBTQ but I was! My personal experience with the Pap smear was very painful but it was my first one and I was very tense. Dr. Lauren was so gentle, comforting and filled with compassion I felt cared about I definitely recommend this place and I will be returning for future exams I highly recommend!!

The women in this office are compassionate, respectful, kind, and professional, from the front desk receptionist to the doctors. Every visit I have had here has been great, the staff takes very good care of their patients and clients. They are very efficient and the office is organized and clean. This office is wonderful, I highly recommend going here if you are in need of their specific services. 💗

I cant quite understand any of the negative reviews on here.. I had such a pleasant experience from the moment I initially called, until the moment I was ready to leave the facility after my appointment. Every staff member was so nice and helpful. They are all very much aware of where your headspace is at & they know that youre nervous. So they are very understanding when speaking to you about any of your concerns or questions you may have. I never once felt that I wasnt cared for, they have women sitting in with you to help you with anything that you need. They are specifically there to help you and calm you. And I was allowed to have my best friend literally sit in on the procedure with me. So if youre scared to go alone, they encourage to bring someone. (Again, dont understand the comment below where they said to just go alone because youre basically alone the whole time) .... Youre not. They were all very kind and personable here and I cant say enough good things about this place and their staff.

I brought my 24 year old daughter for whom I am her guardian for her first pelvic examI had to talk to the staff about her disabilities so they were prepared. This also included a history of sexual abuse and mental health as well as developmental disabilities. She established the most warm and wonderful rapport so quickly with the staff. I commend all of you for your compassion. I just new she would get the best care there.

Best experience I could have hoped for! The staff is kind, loving and down to earth if you treat them so. Every member was informative, and understanding. For someone who is simply curious and question everything, there wasnt one thing they couldnt answer with a smile! 100% every negative review is WRONG. I brought my husband with me, and they welcomed him with open arms. He was allowed to be with me for most of the time, other than counseling, and even then shortly through that, they asked if Id like to have him come in to hear the informational part of our discussion. The facility is NOT small.. whomever wrote that review has clearly never been in this huge, clean, welcoming building.I will reccomend Equality Heath Center to any and every woman I come across who is simply looking for a GYN, who is pregnant pondering about an abortion or even thinks they may have miscarried. I cant stress how kind, understanding and informative they are. Additional pluses, they have a sliding scale, if you dont have or dont want to use your insurance (so clearly not out for your money!!) And the review stating you can be put on birth control right then and their is true, and again super informative on the different types.Thank you again ladys, Ill be back for future appointments!

Very reliable,relaxing and amazing staff including doctors ,nurses. I just love it , earlier i was very nervous as i went alone. But how they supported me ,treated me is really appreciated.i went through procedure it was so smooth they r not in rushed every lil things cared by them. thank you all Equality Health Center.❣( priyanka)

I find it very hard to believe that anyone could have a bad experience here considering today was easily the best care I’ve ever received. The staff there are the most caring people... those woman were legitmately angels, so caring, compassionate and soft spoken in absolutely every way. Absolutely no judgment. They were so attentive to every concern I had. There’s even someone for support holding your hand every step of the way and they offer after care, support and guidence. Snacks for when you recover.This facility has been there for 45 years, some of the staff there for 40 years, these people are trained professionals but with any procedure it’s a risk.You may spend about 4/5 hours in all, but they take the time to go over every single step with you. I had a friend with me and she was able to go through basically everything with me except for when they were going over the policy and privacy information and risks, however she was there with me holding my hand for the most important part.I love the way the facility is set up. So comfortable and cozy. Obviously there may be other woman inside with you but not the whole time, they’re simply waiting for the same thing. Everyone I encountered was so friendly and non judgmental. They take hippa and privacy very serious. The procedure was like any other sugercal prodecure, there are at least 5 techs in the room with you and all of them serve a purpose and play a part in the surgery, they may have a student in there, but they asked me for my permission in advanced. Literally done in less then ten minutes.Seriously, it’s a hard thing as a woman to choose but if you do ever have to ... I highly recommend this facility. I cannot get over how well it went, how friendly and attentive everyone was. Overall SO impressed.

Everyone was very nice here however, there were a number of things that rubbed me the wrong way.Not much privacy whatsoever, the facility is very small. You might as well go alone because they require you be alone 97% of the time youre there. Really didnt like that, it me feel very uncomfortable and alone.When meeting with a counselor I felt very backed into a corner when it came to getting on birth control.Due to personal reasons I havent ever been interested in it yet i was repeatedly urged to start some form of birth control that day. I consequently gave in and regretted it.I felt that the counseling wasnt very thorough but that doesnt say much as it doesnt seem much better any place else. Also, no one even so much as mentions the emotional and mental truama that comes after terminating a pregnancy. Not something that happens to everyone, but certainly a possibility that everyone should be warned about. This is something I wish I had been informed about.The policies arent something the staff likely have control over, they themselves are wonderful. All that being said, I dont personally see myself ever going back if they cant be more accommodating. No person should feel alone when they are going through a very hard time.

Everyone who works here is beyond kind. Im always treated with respect no matter the situation. Everyone is so incredible here and I love to go here

My experiences here were horrifying and have left me 2 years later, having to still find ways to manage and cope with the reality of it all.The staff is very friendly and nice, however also very quick to build you up and support whatever it is you are doing/paying for there to a level of which was very concerning after the fact.I find the ways this place operates to be disgusting. I am not pro-life and I am not preaching on any side of any stance one might hold. I am simply preaching on behalf of the workings that go on once inside the confines of what appears to be something it is not.I would warn anyone looking to go to this place for any sort of procedure or who is unsure of what they feel is best for them in regards to pregnancy and what not... To enter with extreme caution and maybe find a different place more skilled and trained in helping those who are in positions of harrowing life decisions that are unsure of exactly what it is they want. A place perhaps with more care in obtaining all the information necessary in making those judgement calls that this place certainly should not be qualified to do.

Dont recommend, they dont offer support what so ever and they take your money and run with it, thats all they care about. I found out I was pregnant and started bleeding and they wouldnt even look at the about of bleeding that I was having ( a pic ) because they wouldnt be able to tell much) well thats funny because you should be able to atleast tell if the amount of bleeding I was having was worth worrying over, but nope. They didnt care. So screw this place, not worth the money.

All of the staff were very welcoming and made my experience quick and pleasant :) I would very much recommend them to any and everyone! I’ve never felt so welcomed, accepted and heard like I did today
