Maybe if you want to trash talk youre guest looking for certificates, do it in the back where an overworked woman does not have to hear you joke about her having to ask her husband when the marriage year was. The last thing i want to do after rushing to get things done in the limited time between getting off work and getting this paperwork before closing time is hear your office gossip about me. Poor judgement and tasteless.

Very bad experience my mom had an appointment for my son because I got shot in my head last year and cannot drive yet so my mother helps me with my 3 children so they said she needed me to be there because she’s not a “ legal guardian “ which is crazy to me because if she is his grandmother why can she not be there and get his shots so my father met her with me &my other 2 children just to go there and for them to sit me and my son in the WAITING ROOM MIND YOU HE HAS AN APPOINTMENT SO THEY COME TELL ME THAT NOW THE SYSTEM IS DOWN AND THEY CANNOT GIVE HIM HIS SHOTS SO WE GO BACK TO THE CAR MY MOTHER IS FURIOUS AT THIS POINT SO SHE GOES BACK IN JUST FOR THEM TO TELL HER THAT ITS UP NOW SO WE GO BACK IN AND NEXT THING YOU KNOW ITS DOWN AGAINNNNN SO IM VERY UPSET BECAUSE WHY NOT JUST GO AHEAD AND GIVE MY CHILD HIS SHOTS

If there is a Health Inspector anymore then he or she truly suck at their job. Pretty much any of the fast food restaurants in Decatur are truly horrific with nastiness and VERY Unclean and unsanitary. On top of that I just witnessed a drive thru worker that didnt know I was standing there at the KFC on BeltLine SPIT in someones drink before putting the lid on and handing it to them out the window.

I went to the wrong window (vital records instead of immunization records), after I walked away I could hear the older man and an older, larger woman talking about me and my request. “Yea it’s called a birth certificate because it has ONE name on it….hence BIRTH record.” Most people who go there are looking for help, not to be ridiculed. Especially where other waiting families can hear. Great way to bridge the gap between the government and the people. Thumbs up Morgan County Health Department, this comes from a LEO spouse so that should say enough.

They lied to me about the shot being fda approved just so I would take it. The nurse giving the shot told me it was recently approved and me being foolish believed the professional that was meant to have my best interest. She lied about the approval and lied about a program that does not exist. Now I know why she did not give details about it like a name for the program. She told me no less then 4 times that the paperwork was outdated and it was approved and the program would help if I developed side effects. I guess I should of assumed a nurse would lie to further the shot before the approval. It feels wrong knowing she lied about something she put in my body. After my next appointment is done I cant go back. Not if I cant trust them to tell me the truth about what they are putting in my body.

Nice staff. But by far the slowest freaking health dept in Alabama. The operator wont answer her calls. U have a 12:30 apt and get seen by doc after 4 p.m. they need to come up with a faster more effective way to handle their patients.btw. the place was very clean

I,ved tried to get a covid shot in Morgan county. I,am 68 but can,t get my first but thier giving seconds alresady so I guess they just don,t have time for us people. I sat in line the firstday for 2 hrs and got to the front and was told no. No signs saying 75 or above. So my question is where do I go from here ( you don,t answer the phone).
