I love this clinic. I have been here two times with no judgment. They are friendly and fast. They do everything throughly and make sure you understand your options and what’s best for you.

Front desk staff was a little short with the clients during check in and registration. Empathy needs improvement for hurting women facing such life changing decisions. A smile goes a long way.

I just cannot wrap my head around them giving you pain medicine that they know the pharmacy doesnt carry, aside of that a few staff were amazing everyone else, I do not even know how to describe it

The staff here are the best. I will refer everyone to this establishment. Dr.McCarthney was extremely kind hearted and gentle with his touch, explaining everything as he goes along. Courtney and Pam were great emotional support , especially Courtney, she bleeds (no pun intended) very valuable information and comes off very comfortable with her job and supportive with her team. She honestly made me want to apply there! Overall 4.5/5 because my pain tolerance is extremely low and even though they attempted to ease me from some pain if not any at all… im still me and im extremely sensitive. As Courtney said, Deep breathing really helps. Oh also the 2 receptionist were pleasant and welcoming on that snowy day. There was a bilingual lab tech there assisting me as well, she’s very easy going and feels relatable when she held my hand and looked in my eyes and reassured me that I was safe. The clinic is extremely CLEAN and organized.. Scottsdale is definitely a 7mile Gem in Detroit Mi, Ive been to clinics in suburban areas(Northland in westland and Sterling Heights), that had me in there arguing about quotes, management that was rude, dismissive and never looked back. I only mentioned that because even as a Detroit native it’s important to never judge a book by its cover. But the city definitely took their time with this place. Overall the entire staff from the young man with alot of hair to my soul sisters ✊🏽 and doctors/nurses on staff… even the security guard was nice to enough to wait with me….. They all are a team and bring the clinic together.

Had to use a anonymous email, this place is 10/10. staff have beautiful souls. the tea is amazing. I was so scared but they didnt judge me. wait time was longer than procedure . procedure took about 15 minutes, very little pain. thank you. security guard and staff are awesome

I can’t imagine why anyone would give this place a bad rating.Everyone, from the escorts outside, security, receptionist, nurses, doctors, etc., were AMAZING. These are some of the most professional, caring, and nicest people I’ve met. My procedure was a breeze. I was in and out in about 3 hours. They inform you every step of the way. You can call with any questions or concerns. They give you plenty meds to ease your pain and mind. I have been to another clinic and I have never experienced or seen them give you extra meds and education like this. I can’t say enough good. I wish they did regular doctors visits too because I would go.

I felt like the lady at the front desk and the bodyguard were both very insensitive. When i approached the lady at the front desk I began to tell her goodmorning and that i have an appointment she immediately cut me off and asked for my ID. While we are all waiting to have our names called you can hear the security guard and the lady laughing and being very loud. This can be a very tough time for women and it just didn’t give off the best first impression to me. Everyone else was very sweet

Honestly I don’t know why this place has 3.9 stars… This isnt my first rodeo with going through the pill procedure and let me tell you this is the best clinic I’ve gone to. First off I’d like to say when I went there were protesters but that wasn’t a problem because there was security there to help escort you into their building. Yea they building may look a little out dated on the outside but come on… It’s in a hood in Detroit so be for real, the inside looked perfectly fine. That being said though all the folks in there were kind and very educated with what they knew with their work and study. I loved that there were a lot of younger people job shadowing wanting to learn how to help women and their choice of decisions. Very explanatory with everything they talked about, again very kind people and it makes me happy that these folks seem to want to help women like me that aren’t ready or just don’t want a kid. Of course it was time consuming but from experience it’s going to be like that every abortion clinic you go. They even gave me extra pills for nausea, painkillers, and a note to get even more prescriptions, the clinics I been to before NEVER did that and it took me of guard but in a good way… I would definitely recommend this place to anyone if they needed guidance as regards to them needing help.

From the moment I met reception to the moment I walked out. Everyone was absolutely amazing, professional and kind. Not one staff member acted like I was inconveniencing them, but quite the opposite, caring, considerate, and compassionate. There was even a brand new trainee, she too jumped right in and followed suite, acting as professional and caring as the others. Exactly what you would want out of at place like this. The facility is clean and well kept.Go on a week day, I hear Saturday is pretty crazy (protesters, and a lot of patients).

Very nice, respectful and polite environment. Nurses are very nice and treat you like your a Priority. Thank you scotsdale for Fast services . Instead of 6-8hrs. My procedure only took 3.

It was ok, it’s nothing like when the main doctor was there he has now retired. A lot of new faces I didn’t get a call to make sure I was keeping my appointment nor did I get a call the two days after. The new doctor is very rough with her work, I mean she did a great job getting it all done I believe but I felt it all and that was a first still hurting a week later and that’s a first also.

Very friendly. worked with me the whole way through(answered questions, financially, comforting while I was having procedure). I was there today and they got me in and out as fast as they could. Made me as comfortable as possible for my first abortion even provided snacks after. Quiet, clean place. Thank you scotsdale staff

Very wonderful place, clean and staff is respectful, kind and patient, they help you and answer any questions, very comfortable spaces as well. They make a hard experience a bit easier, def preferred being here on a Tuesday opposed to a weekend , not protesters and not as many appts.

NEVER EVER COME HERE AND GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. They did a surgical abortion for me at 13 weeks for a pregnancy that wouldn’t make it. She did an ultrasound after and looked At me and said she got it all. I bled non stop for two months I called twice and left voicemails with my concerns and they never called back. Today I went to the er to find out they left placenta in me. I spent 300$ on this procedure I have no money for another procedure no money for tampons and pads no way to get to Detroit the hospital wont do it here so now I have to go home with a piece of placenta that’s been in me for two months and hope I don’t get a life threatening infection before I can get a procedure to get it out. Now I have to go through all this pain stress and bleeding all over again. DO NOT COME HERE.

I was nervous coming from Indiana but I must say everyone was kind. Which made my visit easier. I would highly recommend.

Very calm peaceful environment. I just visited this place 9/15/18 I was so nervous due to this being my first time having a abortion from start to finish they make sure you are aware of what is going to be done 1st you talk to a counselor then they take you payment in the back not all rushy like some places just trying to get your money the conselor explains everything to make sure this is what you want to do, then you will have a an ultrasound. After that they ensure you are healthy by taking your vitals and checking your blood and iron levels. If they are not good they will not perform your procedure they want to make sure your healthy not trying to but you at any risk. yo get changed you get antibiotics and a shot in your hip to help with the cramping you then wait a while before the actual procedure is done once its your time you will go to into the room they will give you a mild sedtation to help your relax then it just feels like a pepserm a little more intense overall I felt like I was in good hands this is a place with mostly all women with great personality they educated you give you pain meds and things to read about at home after your procedure is done they have a recovery room nice and warm to help you relax. They made the worst day of my life less stressful especially Ms londa her personality was great go here they are caring and there rates are cheaper than all the other places I called the have low income help so it knocked some of my price down. Scotsdale Womens Center provides quality reproductive health care in a clean, well kept clinic! Their affordable services and all-inclusive procedure fees are very impressive! Most of all, they have a phenomenal staff that treats you with dignity and respect! Choose SWC! Youll be glad you did!

A little while back, I was actively going thru a miscarriage and couldnt fully miscarry, so I was encouraged to get a DNC from the Christian based emergency room. I contacted Scotsdale, had the procedure done, and was given a return date. When I came back for the followup, the company could NOT find my file. I was asked if I received a phone call to check on me, I did not. I was told I would be given a call once they located my info...still waiting almost 2 years later.

The only good thing about this place are the people standing outside that showed me there was actual help for both me and my baby. They pointed me to Triple A pregnancy recourse center where they actually you see your baby and offered to walk beside me with all my needs. Go check out that place!!!And the sweet people outside offered to throw a baby shower!!!

I went to this place about a week ago and I would have to say that this was the most traumatizing experience ive ever had in my life. From what I saw the place was very clean, a little out dated in the back and more privacy is needed. It was mostly woman there working but a older man doctor did my procedure, he was very insensitive, impatient, and seemed a little cold(which did scare me) he didnt seem caring at all, he even yelled at me during my procedure to stop scratching the nurse while he was conducting my procedure which really ticked me off because he was suppose to be paying attention to what he was doing, taking his job a little more seriously knowing he could cause some serious damage to my insides. I was told that the process would go by fast(which it did) and that I would be sedated so I wouldnt feel anything, I literally felt every single thing that was happening to me and the doctor didnt even wait for the medicine to kick in before he started the procedure, I wasnt trying to hurt the lady whos hand I was holding on to for dear life but my God was it awful. After the procedure I was escorted to the recovery room where I literally only got 4mins(not long enough) to recover but was suppose to be there for atleast 30mins, a lady then walked in and started talking about at home care which I couldnt really understand because the medicine had kicked in fully and had me going in and out. I didnt understand why someone would come into the recovery room where im suppose to be resting to talk to me knowing im still high off the medicine, everything just felt rush rush. There was one woman who was soooooo super understanding, compassionate, supportive, and attentive to me, I mean if it wasnt for her being by my side even during the procedure I dont know how I would have gotten through this traumatizing experience, she even came by my side in recovery to check on me and wished me well. She was actually on her way home and didnt have to but she saw how traumatized I was and understood me. I didnt get her name but if you get to read this I love you and thank you so much, its people like you that make the world go round, you were my angel that day and I couldnt have been happier you were there. God forbid I ever have to go through this again but If I do I never want a man touching me again in a abortion procedure. In my opinion only woman understand things like this, man have not the slightest clue how we feel;Prime example this man doctor was more concerned about me scratching someone and not scratching my uterus wall, how rude, off focused and insensitive can you really be? I have not gone back yet for my check up to make sure things went well but I will be making my appointment else where to be seen.

The worst day of my life.. And these women were absolutely amazing. They kept me informed.. They held my hand.. And they cared. The place was clean and well organized. I would definitely recommend this place for other women.

Took my girlfriend there last week. Great people with great personality. I was treated as an important part of the process. She was treated with compassion and dignity.

First I would like to say that this website is false advertising its states that they go to 24th week. This clinic only does abortions til 14 weeks. I recently took my daughter to this clinic paid 25 dollars that they kept just to tell me they wont be able to do her abortion but they could send her over to another clinic. So we took her to this other clinic and the prices were so high that we could not afford. Fortunately I found Eastland womens Clinic on 8 mile they were the nicest people , very respectful and professional. Ive reported Scottsdale to the state of Michigan for false advertising and for keeping my money when they knew they dont go to 24 weeks.

The staff were ok until I found out that they do not know how to read. The abortion clinic does not accept patients with sickle cell anemia. They made me go to the whole process until they took my blood sample and found out my hemoglobin was low and they had to refund me my money. I filled out the papers the day before And put my whole medical history and talk to one of the staff about the history and they said nothing to me until the day of my procedure Im very disappointed
