I love this Urgent Care. The staff is so patient and friendly. We laugh and talk about more than my illness when I go in there. They make me feel very comfortable.

It is 9:34am I got here at 9am their phone line and they pharmacy next door says they open at 8am google maps says 9am I’ve been waiting here with my sick children for over 30 mins now and it still isn’t open this is beyond unprofessional and inconsiderate my children both have colds and need to be seen but I will have to go to a different urgent care because this one still isn’t open

I came here for my daughters ear infection, they were swift and so kind to my girl. I really appreciate the staff for nursing my baby back to good health

They have not reported my lab results in a timely manner. I have not been given a call or anything from a doctor. Just feel like they have taken money and not actually cared for me.

Personally, I love this place! Ive been here twice so far and both times the staff have been friendly and professional, all while understaffed. (And I dont mean this in a mean or derogatory way, but moreso a realistic way - come on yall, healthcare workers specifically have faced this problem since 2020. Lets have some grace for those who decided to stick around despite it all!)Anyways, Ive had experiences with two separate front desk staff, and both were kind - no complaints. When I was seen by Dr. Avery, they explained what was happening to me in a very understandable way. I really appreciate it!Sorry to others that may have had a bad experience, but speaking for myself, I genuinely have nothing but good things to say about this place! If you need to be seen, come here! 👍

This use to be an amazing place to go to. Several times I went there, there receptionists are rude & overworked. They only had one physician for that day. They had sign saying, yes I read it. Please be seated & they will be calling you up to fill out your paperwork. So I waited they saw me sitting there. So I waited. Then this woman walk right in & talk to the receptionist. I was appalled, so I got up. I was going to wait behind her, I thought about how rude they are & I left & went to another urgent care. Y’all need to either get new receptionist or closed down. They are making to unprofessional place & unclean place.

Hands down the best place for you and your loved ones..never a long wait time, always in and out. The owner, dr’s and staff are always professional and caring and cater to your needs on a path to a speedy recovery. I just love you guy’s 🥰

I have a sore throat and I needed to be seen. The lady didnt greet me a smile whats so ever she just talks fast as if shes so in a rush and all she does is scan in documents. She was not patient at all. She told me there were a hand full of people in front of me so I asked can you give me a call she said yes, with a straight face so i waited a few mins for my ID & insurance card to run up the street. She handed me my things as if i should iust get out of her face. & I literally said im not trying to rush you. This lady has locs and brown skin. There used to be another lady there that was sweet calm and collective. I was expecting her today.... Fire her shes not showing patients good customer service at all, this was my favorite urgent care but not anymore.also LONG wait.

I rode my bike all the way up to this urgent care and when I get there, theres this raggedy rude yellow braids woman with an attitude. She’s rolling her eyes at me, talking in an annoyed tone…like girl don’t be mad at me because you work here. Didn’t even get to do what I came for since this B talkin bout license and insurance…what if I was about to take my last breath ho

On 11/8/2023 I had went to urgent care due to my 1 and 3 old possibly having covid.. I rushed out the house with two kids under 4 grabbed our medical cards and ran to the nearest urgent care.. after getting to urgent care, filling out the paper work and trying to calm down two small kids who is running high fevers and cannot breathe I was told they couldnt be seen due to no ID after explaining I can be seen and then run it back up here I got a woman with a nasty attitude who smacked her lips and sent me and my two kids out the door in the rain with not a care in the world.. not to mention we were the only people there.. what a digusting way to treat American citizens !!! I will Never ever come back here or recommend this to anyone else. Dont want to serve the community , close. Edit:- to owner..when children CANNOT BREATHE AND HAVE HIGH FEVERS ALL QUESTIONS SHOULD WAIT. YOU ARE NOT WHATS BEST FOR DETROIT!!!!!

This practice has a office full of lazy individuals that dont do anymore, the have you sit long enough to bill you in there system only to no see you. They are very very unprofessional and I highly dont recommend. Its not family safe. Its 1 service room so you will be there for hours. The room barely meet medical guidelines and the white sea bass of a person that work the front desk needs her license to service anybody revoked. Nobody does there job. I feel like this practice is scamming patience for there time and insurance only for money they dont care about you being a patient or your rights as one. I DO NOY RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE IT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

I agree with the other comments on this quality health service center in our city. Everything was clean and well organized and delivered the same service that an ER would have done for my particular problem. It was donecheaper and quicker. I had not seen a doctor because of having no insurance and they caught my high blood pressure. My sister says the clinic saved my life. Thank you!

My experience with city urgent care was phenomenal. The staff were accommodating, kind and respectful to me the whole time. I didn’t have to wait long to see my provider: who was kind, straight forward, and thorough throughout the whole check up. I left on a timely basis and if I ever need to go to an urgent care again it’ll be this one no doubt.

If I could give them ZEROS I would. They all have attitudes and the lady manager IS THE WORST one! attitude and mouth slick. the doctors are unprofessional. Gone tell me y’all can treat me but can’t write me a doctors note like what

The short version: the nurse was neglectful and unapologetic but the doctor did redeem some of the experience by following up with me and listening to my complaint.I arrived to find the nurse having an emotional call in the foyer, understanding this I went in to sign in and take a seat. She took a while to come back in and was still on her call when she came back in. Another patient came in after me and it looked like they were filling out paperwork. I came up to the window and asked if there’s more paperwork for me after waiting in the lobby for close to 30 min and she said yes and handed it over. I asked why she took so long to get this to me and she replied “well you have it now”. I left for Sherwood Urgent Care but they were closed. When I came back I wanted to let the doctor know about my experience. He apologized but I was reentered at the bottom of the list. From there the service was pretty good and speedy. I did get the follow up on my flu results the same day as he promised. I walked out and the nurse who knew fully well I complained about this experience did not apologize.

Love this Urgent Care. I stop going to Grace Emergency and been coming here for over a year now. Today I went in having sinus issue. They had me in and out within a hour. The medication they Prescribed for me. Had me feeling 100 percent better than how I was feeling. Thanks for your help.

Staff here are unprofessional. There are too many urgent care centers in the city to go here. They dont inform you that you need to be wait until the 11th day to be tested for COVID. The front desk staff argued back and forth with a patient. The staff supported her in this unprofessional decision. Terrible. I wont be back.

Update: My go to spot as long as the right Medical Assistant is there! You dont have to worry about someone being able to cut in line, she even comes from behind that desk and triage her patients before the Dr. or PA gets to them and Baby she is rocking that new short blonde cut! 🥂 Cheers to you, us fellow Medical Assistants see you! Keep making Beaumont /Corewell Health look good! Special Needs parents if your little person is sick and you must go, and they are the busy type ask if they have a room you all can wait in? They definitely understand ASD and ADHD. I ask because my son can be a bit much some days.

I would definitely recommend City Urgent Care Detroit. The receptionist was friendly and professional and the doctors were very knowledgeable, caring and thorough. AND facility was very clean. I was so impressed with the care I received that I returned later that evening after my daughter began experiencing pain.

Kierra was my nurse and she was very kind to me and I watched her keep her cool as an angry visitor got nasty with her for no reason. She helped me in a timely manner and the doctor made me feel comfortable as well.

My visit to City Urgent Care was quick, professional and complete. The office is clean and quiet. I was greeted with the pleasant smile of Sonya asking how can she help me, which can be a relief in itself, and then the beginning of the process of my visit. In no time at all I was in the examining room awaiting the doctor. Well I was seen by Dr. Victor Faris who made me feel as though I was the only sick person in the world. He was very patient with me as well as pleasant. He even checked through his office system thats connected to some of the major hospitals in the tri-county area and pulled up some helpful information of mine that was beneficial with my problem. Now I dont mean to write a book, but when youre sick and need a bit of attention, cant get in to see your primary doctor and dont really need the emergency room, City Urgent Care is there. Oh, did I mention this was my second visit to this urgent care facility, so let it be known, theyre consistent as well! 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They don’t even deserve 1star!!!!!!!!! Very unprofessional. Long wait time even when the office has 2 patients being seen with more than enough staff.. my daughter was prescribed medication he said he was sending it and it would be at the pharmacy in 15-20 mins. Medication is not ready at pharmacy I called he said it would be 40 mins. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing experience! I was literally seen in less than 20 minutes total, if even that. Very friendly medical staff, PA- Ranni, and so convenient that the pharmacy is right next door. If I need urgent care, I definitely will come back here!

Hands down the worst urgent care I’ve ever been to I’m pregnant came here to check my blood sugar waited over 2 hours . Didn’t want to skip the line of people already waiting but i was legitimately was concerned, i over hear the nurse assistant discussing my concerns and the doctor goes . Well what does she want or expect from us this isn’t triage she should’ve went to Er since she’s so concerned. Needless to say i left i would never let anyone care for me who thinks that little of human concerns .

The place was Clean and the staff was polite ave professional. The doctor was quick. He asked a couple of questions, examined me. Diagnosed prescribed meds via electronically to my pharmacy. Got me started to feel better quickly as possible!!

Kiera really took great care of me today! I had excessive wax buildup in my ear and Kiera skillfully and carefully removed it. She was very kind and professional and so was the receptionist and doctor!

Great urgent care staff! Dr. Rani did his best explaining to me everything I needed to know about my small procedure. He also speaks Arabic, Aramaic ( Chaldean ), and English so it really helps if English isn’t your first language. I highly recommend this location! Thank you again for all your care. Love this place and dr rani is the best

8 am on a Monday the doors were locked, no cars in the parking lot. Another lady and I waited 10 minutes in the lot, to no avail. Just sucked on top of not feeling well.

My experience was very comfortable my first time being here . I was treated with care and they made me feel really safe being that I was a lil nervous. Great staff, excellent service and was treated like family by an employee named Keosha she made me feel at home thank you guys so much

I absolutely love this urgent care. It’s clean,neat,and very professional! I never in there for hours and there always quick and helpful! I would definitely recommend them to family & friends.

I cant express enough the quality of Customer Care that Keosha at City Urgent Care has.. from the moment you walk in the door to getting you in the room she makes you feel welcomed and well cared for. By far the best Urgent Care in the city!!!

Me and my Girlfriend came to get Covid tested and it was best experience we’ve had taking a Covid test.They were really busy and still acted professionalWe had the pleasure of being tested by SkyShe was very gentle and I would recommend asking for her when getting tested

Be aware that when you go to take a COVID test at this urgent care, they charge you for an office visit on top of the COVID test. This is the only urgent care I have been to where I have been charged for a COVID test AND an office visit. My insurance covered the COVID test, but the office visit was applied to my deductible where I am now on the hook for a $60 bill. I took two COVID tests there in November 2021 ahead of Thanksgiving with my family and now owe $120. They do not tell you this ahead of your COVID test so please make sure they tell you what they are going to bill you for.

This is the most caring urgent care I have ever been to hands down. They understand that money is tight and will still provide excellent care to see u get better.

Im here now and so far nothing but disrespect from the lady at the desk its 6-28-2023 @ 846am Ive been here since 825 and still in the waiting room the lady had a attitude when I told her I dont have my insurance card and then asked what insurance I have I told her and she said really your white what do u need Medicaid for and I told her not everyone can afford top of the line insurance so that is why this will be my first and last visit here if I could hear out of my ear I would not be here but having hearing in only one ear isnt going to help as I work in the landscaping field and need to hear when my coworkers or boss is talking to me so this review is based on the racist receptionist

5/5 stars! I highly recommend this place to anyone with any issues. The wait was extremely brief. As well as the provider who saw me was really thorough and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit.

I brought my child who had the flu to this place February 21st at approximately 9:00-10:00am and the receptionist/in take person (lady) at the desk was very rude, inconsiderate, inattentive and not a pleasant person to greet sick patients, sick patients parents or any customer of the sort as they walk up to the counter to sign in. This young lady never gave me eye contact then slammed the window while I was still in her face speaking to her. I believe she was on her cell phone at the time and was pretty upset that I interrupted her call...I don’t know. From the time she ended her phone call she seemed very agitated and upset. I am a returning customer who lives near by and would like to continue being treated by this company but the receptionist who’s there (I don’t know if she’s there everyday) makes it hard for me to even think about returning.

When the place fist opened it was great now it’s up there with sinai grace The staff is so unprofessional I went in to be seen because I had a sprain on my hand THATS BEEN SWOLLEN FOR 4 days I waited for over 45 min remind you they only have like 3/4 chairs in the lobby it was crowded a lady and her full grown kids there taking up the seats two older women in they late 60 or 70 came in they didn’t bother to get them chairs or offer assistance knowing they was elder so I offer my seat to go sit in the extra space outside the door in another waiting area I told the receptionist I don’t have my phone so to have someone step out pass the sitting area 1 hr go by she talking about we gave your spot to someone else you didn’t answer the phone that had me livid then tried to argue with me talking about just come back another time then the doctor didn’t try to listen they was so rude and unprofessional YALL gone get enough playing with people time a simple apology and acknowledgment to they wrong doing would of been too much I guess save your time don’t go here and they still will bill your insurance company even if not seen

My insurance number and group number were provided at the time of service and somehow they still couldnt verify. Ive never heard of a medical establishment tell a patient we cant get into your insurance website to verify your insurance so we cant see you......what??? Why you cant call and verify? Someone else has to do that and she havent called back yet. Unbelievable a hr of my time wasted.

The staff was friendly but seemed frustrated the wait was entirely too long and I was not seen. I left because everyone there had been waiting for hours and there were only 3 people there one lady left and came back after an hr and was still waiting.

Came in for a COVID test staff is professional and nice, the doctor was nice and also a target a problem that I been dealing with for a month. I truly recommend this urgent Care Thank You

The times I have been, yes times, the doctors have always listened and helped me out. The receptionist/assistant is very discreet , she will listen, she was very understanding.

I waited a whole 1 1/2 to get a covid test and on top of that my results were suppose to get sent to my email and they never did and I had to go all the way back up there just for the results ! Some staff was very helpful but some were rude as well!

This is a great facility in the city!!!! Keosha is thee best receptionist/nurse I ever had and I have been to a million medical facilities. It is clean and fresh unlike any other place in the city!!!
