Andrea R., Darlyng, and so many other dedicated professionals at this office have provided unwavering support throughout my journey. I had a really good experience with this facility. Everyone was so courteous, kind, and very professional. Dr. Woods was so knowledgeable and experience. I am so happy with the service I received. The office is clean, and I did not have to wait a long time to be seen. So much was accomplished on my first visit. Im truly satisfied with the whole experience. I would definitely recommend Dr. Woods and this facility to anyone on this journey.

The doctor I had was amazing. She was empathetic and listened carefully. The staff was awesome. One staff member I would like to give a shout out to was Jocelyn. She was a great nurse there. Attentive. When the Medical assistant was unable to get my blood because I am a hard stick, Jocelyn was able to get it. She was very nice and the whole experience I had with IVF MD has been amazing. I didnt get to finish treatment due to personal things but once that gets straightened out, I will make sure to go back to them!

Our experience at IVFMD has been wonderful. Dr. Wood is a great doctor who is straight to the point, honest, and knows her stuff. The whole team made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Ive been working with Dr Gelman and his team the last few years. My experience with Dr Gelman and has been great! Dr Gelman analyzes and personalizes the treatment that best fits your situation. His care team Nurse Belkis the coordinator, she truly cares for patients and has such a sweet spirit, Nurse Ashley, very attentive and responds quickly, and Julie. I cant even start to explain how amazing Julie is. Shes always smiling, patient, shes detail oriented and extremely a blessing for Dr Gelman to have on his team. I have seen 2 of the Drs at this practice. Dr. Wood and Dr. G, I can’t speak highly enough of each one of them. Dr. Wood gave me my first son and I am now 22 weeks pregnant thanks to Dr. G. They have completely different personalities but are both fantastic! Dr. G also works in the Boca office which I needed for my location and it’s definitely a slower pace office.Throughout this process I always had the support of nurse Manzi, she has been by my side for over 3 years. Her compassion and dedication were key to my sanity. IVF it’s HARD! And having a medical staff supporting you is essential. I will forever be thankful for her role in this process.4 stars instead of 5… This is for the practice itself. This is a huge corporation, they have a LOT of people, everything takes time, billing can be a mess and the staff can be overwhelmed making the process even more stressful.Overall I’ll choose them again!

IVF MD it’s been a blessing for our family. We met Dr. Ellen Wood in 2018 and she went above and beyond to help us to have our first baby boy in 2019, we came back three years later and again we got a miracle baby boy in 2022 and now I’m expecting my third one. Everyone in the office it’s been amazing, caring and understanding of all fertility issues, ups and downs. Andrea R. Helped us with all of our financials explaining everything and making sure that we were aware of all expenses ahead of time without last minute surprises. We are very grateful to IVF MD and we will continue our treatment if we decide to go for baby # 4.

Our experience At IVF Md has been great, Dr. Wood is the best. She straight forward and gets to the point. She very thorough. RN Jocelyn is great she the best when it comes to veins and needles, she always gets my veins on the first try. I was always excited to see Rn Jocelyn. After our OB ultrasounds she will always come check on me and my husband and ask to see our little peanut. Abby the sonographer was super sweet and professional. NP Andrea was very sweet with our ultrasounds and explaining everything to my husband.They use an app for all communication and I will highly recommend that you check the app 2x a day to make sure there no updates. Also if you have questions always message them through the app and there pretty good at getting back to you by the end of the day.This journey had truly been a blessing to us. Thank you IVF MDI will highly recommend to always ask questions if your confused with medication and always do exactly what they tell you to do with medicines and timing.

Just did my egg retrieval and I can’t express how comfortable and informed the staff made me feel. Jocelyn and Sherly got me all ready while having great conversation and answering all my questions. Cynthia the CRNA introduced herself and told me how she was going to put me under and Dr Sabrina was just the sweetest as she always is making me feel very comfortable and encouraged. I couldn’t have asked for the procedure to go any better. If I ever have to do it again I will definitely be requesting the same team.

I cannot express enough how much IVFMD cooper city has changed my life. Everyone at this clinic makes you feel important and welcomed from the moment you step into the clinic. Everyone was communicative, compassionate, and kind, every step of the way. From your first day at the clinic to your last day(graduation), you will see everyone with a smile on their faces. I had a very good experience with IVFMD. I was treated by Dr. Wood and her APRN, Adriana Ballestos. Both were excellent. The staff is also very professional and friendly, it was easy to get appointments. The procedures done were efficient and thorough. The only downside was having to rely on the Prelude app ONLY to communicate with the office with questions about anything, sometimes it was not very helpful if I needed to ask the dr a question directly or had concerns. Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend the business.

After just 1 retrieval 2 transfers , my dream come true!My baby now is 14months old , every time I look at him , I feel warm to go through the memories how he come to this world! Nothing but great things to say about IVFMD Cooper City. I started going to the Miami office and transferred to Cooper City after I moved to Broward, best decision I ever made. The staff at the Cooper City office make you feel like family, special shout out to Julie, V and Sherly. As you might know, this process is mentally and physically challenging and you should try to find a place where they take care of you, this is the place. Dr. Gelman is my primary doctor, Dr. Gerkowicz did my egg retrieval and Dr. Wood my hysteroscopy, TEAM EFFORT to make my dreams come true.

Words cannot describe the amount of gratitude and appreciation I have for Dr. Wood, Jocelyn, Sherly, and the entire team at Cooper City. The one-year anniversary of my transfer was one year ago this week. After a previous natural miscarriage and subsequent loss from an ectopic pregnancy, I was so nervous for this transfer, but Dr. Gelman was always straight-forward, honest and encouraging. I’m not the type for false hope or empty promises, so his realistic POV every step of the way (even in the most heartbreakingly difficult times) was comforting to me. He didn’t say it would be ok when no one can promise that. Instead, he told me to try to stay positive and believe in what was possible. And now, I look at my little baby boy, and I feel nothing but gratitude every single time. The entire staff at IVF MD became like family to me. Going through IVF, you spend so much time in the office, so it was amazing to celebrate our pregnancy with people who were there all the way through getting to that point. I can’t recommend this office enough. I’m so so grateful to them for bringing me my perfect baby boy 💙

What a journey. My wife and I started seeing Dr Gelman in 2021 after months of trying to conceive. He did all the tests and recommended a slow approach to trying to conceive naturally. Fast forward 3 years and we had exhausted our resources.We decided as a family to proceed with IVF. Dr. Gelman and the IVFMD team were caring and empathetic through the whole process. We are blessed that our first transfer was a success. The transfer itself posed quite a challenge and I believe most doctors would have simply given up. But not Dr. Gelman. Thanks to Dr. Wood and her staff (almost 13 years ago) my husband and I were able to have beautiful twins that are now about to be teenagers! This doctor is extremely good at what she does and is upfront about expectations and possible outcomes!

There is nothing fun about the IVF process but I can honestly say that IVF MD in Cooper City is a wonderful office that truly cares about their patients. Dr. Gerkowitz and her team are wonderful. Andrea R. on their financial team was a big help throughout the process as well. If you have to go this route, I would recommend consulting with this office.

My husband and I are so grateful to Dr.Gelman for our beautiful daughter…after trying to conceive for 5yrs, he looked at our case and immediately assured us we will get pregnant during our very first appointment. Sure enough we got a positive test our very first cycle. Our daughter was born healthy and safe. The staff were good to us and we appreciate everyone’s help and support. I recommend Dr.Gelman to anyone seeking fertility treatment. He is honest, straightforward and compassionate. God put him on our path and he helped our dream come true.

About a month ago I had a biopsy with Dr Adriana Ballesta, that woman is an angel on earth, I was very scared and the way she spoke to me made my nerves go down, the procedure was uncomfortable but not painful at all. She took the time to call me on my phone on her day off to give me the results, anyway, if you have to have a biopsy of the uterus, dont hesitate to ask Dr Adriana to do it, you wont regret it.

Thanks to Dr. Wood I have two new nephews, my one year old and my current pregnancy. In this ever changing field of medicine, she has so much experience and at the same time keeps herself up to date with the latest research so you have the piece of mind that you are getting the best care and that you are really doing everything medically possible to increase your chances of success. She takes the time to make sure you understand the plan of care and all the possible outcomes. You will for sure be in the best hands, even if your case has been called “difficult” by other doctors. Additionally, nurse Manzi is so approachable, gentle and considered with you as a patient that has been through hell trying to create your dream family. Manzi will waste no time addressing your concerns and anything else you need to navigate this complex process. IVFMD Cooper City is the place to go if you need fertility experts!

We started in the Cooper City office in 2022 with Dr. Gelman. Everything started smooth and went well. Until the issues started to arise from:1. Scheduling: we had 3 appointments scheduled on days that Dr. Gelman was off. We drive 1.5 hours each way (3 hours round trip) to visit this office.2. Charges: we were charged fees that were unreasonable (e.g. husband goes in with wife for consultations) and they billed my insurance but still charged me $400+ for the same visit.3. Billing: they cannot provide pricing for services when we use insurance and we are charged for any little thing we do, just to speak to a doctor they will charge a “consult fee.”4. Price Locked: we secured lower pricing in 2022 before IVF MD increased their prices, but we still have to pay other fees and charges, seems a bit of a scam to make more money.5. Transparency: the staff will not explain the prices or services clear enough and most of the time they do not know or come up with a story/excuse for the issues.6. Accountability: no one is accountable in the front-end to the back-end. They will blame the patient.7. Prelude App: we use the app but they take days to answer or in some cases no one answers.8. Stress: some of the departments (e.g. appointments, scheduling and billing) add more stress to the process and we are considering to transfer to another location.9. Communication: the staff do not provide names when calling and when we ask for a name they avoid to give to us, in some cases the caller hangs us.10. Unprofessionalism: the some of the staff is defensive, rude and no accountability for their mistakes.11. Surgery: my wife has to do a procedure with Dr. Woods in March 2024; but now (3 weeks later) we received a phone call from Stephanie who boldly lied that she has been calling us (no call log on both of our phones). Now the surgery has to be put off until April 2024; making the process more challenging and stressful for my wife.It is just terrible and discouraging, how things are playing out with the Cooper City office!!!

We had Dr. Wood, twin live birth first try, so ultimately no matter what else, she definitely gets the highest rating. She was also very accommodating and knowledgeable.This is what people writing reviews arent understanding though...most people reviewing this need to reset their expectations. Everyone thinks, because they are spending a lot of money, they should be guaranteed success...thats not the case.Second, IVF Drs in general dont have the best bedside manner...this is due huge to the fact that they are dealing with bad news like 95% of the time. You do become a bit hardened over time, but they are passionate about your success and happiness, and youll see that present in the whole staff.Third, no matter what you still need to do your own research. They call out the statistics, you need to research your own wants and needs.Lastly, so much of this success will boil down to your own hard work, often a year before you go through this.

Waste of time, we had to switch clinics due to insurance and they would only allow us to go to one of their approved “Centers of Excellence”IVFMD…..Well the experience was anything but excellent. After a year and seeing two different doctors we got nowhere (one appointment with each doctor no follow ups)…. Each doctor had my wife and I do all kinds of test and bloodwork and never followed up on any of it, said the wanted us to see their nutritionist never heard from them… Both doctors were well aware of my wife’s diagnosis and seemed to be no sense of urgency on their part. Now luckily with our new insurance we were able to go back to our old clinic, but only to find out my wife’s counts are even lower now due to this offices careless and lackadaisical attitudes towards their clients. We are also now getting bills 8 months later for services they should have bill insurance and when you call to speak with someone, no one answers or returns phone calls. Stay away from this place they have no concern for the client only money.

Very friendly and welcoming staff! Was our first visit, amazing nurses, nervous walking in but everyone made us feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Didn’t feel like just another patient here.

Im usually terrified when I see needles, but V at the lab was the best. I didnt feel a thing, and they were very friendly.

I am a patient with Dr. Gelman and I will be starting my 4th round of IUI. I went in for my day 3 Ultrasound and had the BEST experience with one of the nurses. Yarit was so patient and accommodating. I felt like my concerns and questions were all heard. She made me feel like the multiple questions I had were not as bizzard and out of the norm that I thought they were. She sat in the room with us and explained each of my questions one after the other. After the time spent in the room, she continued to follow up with Dr. Gelman and then called myself and my significant other to follow up with each concern. Going through fertility is a very intimate place where us patients want to feel heard and be able to cry when needed. I felt very comfortable opening up to her and expressing my vulnerability without any judgment or increased speed of the process. Thank you so much!!

Dr. Gellman and his staff are amazing. His nurses always answered my emails within the same day and always made sure I understood everything that I needed to do. My previous ivf doctor at another clinic told me I would never have children with my own eggs and I should use donor eggs at 30 years old! With IVFMD, I had success with one retrieval that produced 2 embryos and two successful transfers. Now I am a blessed mother of two children! IVFMD is the best!

My appointment started over an hour late. As a working professional being punctual is really important. I have to take off of work to attend appointments. Its unprofessional and unacceptable

Thank you Dr Gelman!Im currently 19 weeks pregnant!I believe some people are here on earth to make a difference in peoples lives, Dr Gelman at IVFMD (Cooper City) is one of them.I was with a previous Specialist and had the worst experience of my life. I had a very painful and traumatic HSG. I was told aggressively that if I wanted to get pregnant, I needed 2 different types of surgeries and straight to IVF. I felt defeated, scared and gave me extreme anxieties. I listened to my gut and switched to a different Specialist.I’m so happy I switched to Dr Gelman, I feel extremely fortunate and grateful to have found him. The first day I met him I knew he would be the right Doctor for me. He’s very calm, compassionate, also direct when he needs to. I found him very caring, funny & kind. He listened to all my concerns and anxieties, answered all of our long lists of questions. His positive energy eased all my anxieties.He recommended holistic approach: healthy diet, exercise, supplements, accupuncture, yoga, stretching and to keep my stress level low. I did them all, what an amazing self care regiment that all women should practice! His recommendations totally work! Trust in him, trust the process, trust yourself.He was very thorough with all the bloodwork & tests. He was honest that my ovarian reserve were low and percentage of success were lower with IUI but remains hopeful and he said to keep moving forward.He performed an SIS which he confirmed uterine polyps. He then recommended surgery, then 2 rounds of IUI, if IUI didn’t work then IVF.Turns out, I didn’t need IVF. I had surgery in January. First round of IUI in February, Second round of IUI in March. By April we are pregnant!Physically and mentally, it was all taking a toll on me. I’m so grateful to have Dr Gelman and his team by my side. During covid I had to do most appointments by myself. The nurses and the team at IVFMD Cooper City are so kind especially Mica who held my hand during SIS and made me comfortable every visits. Darlene the phlebotomist always smiling and positive. Nurses: Joselyn who made us laugh during IUI, Jennifer who delivered the pregnancy news to us. Leslie from Boca who was at the Cooper City office on a weekend to do my IUI, she said she would get us pregnant :) and she did! Dr Wood who did my surgery perfectly! She was very thorough and removed all the polyps, short and quick recovery post operation. She said the reason why I couldn’t get pregnant is because the polyps were in the way, preventing implantation.The team of billing are great, so thorough. They explained everything. Honest with pricing, billing, provides clear itemized statements. They handled our insurance perfectly. We never had any issues from our insurance, everything was covered. They’re so on point!I highly recommend Dr Gelman and his entire team at IVFMD in Cooper City. I am beyond grateful and thankful for the highest level of care and compassion, organization and thoroughness. We were sad to leave his care. What an “A” Team! They are our lucky stars!

After years of trying procedures at another clinic where my husband and I felt like a number, we did our research and switched to IVF MD, and Dr. Gelman. Right away, Dr. Gelman evaluated my situation and created a plan we were comfortable with. He made recommendations that hadn’t been recommended at the other practice- and they were game changers! Every step of the way, every visit, every discussion I felt well informed and treated well. This clinic was also fair with pricing and transparent. All of it was very professional, even during very trying times during the pandemic. At the end of the day, we have a gorgeous baby girl and I will always attribute this to Dr. Gelman and his staff.

I have never been to a more self serving doctors office. Doctor is far more concerned about making money off of every test than helping you have your baby. Beware of bait and switch policies. RUN from this place!

I have been a patient of this office for more than two years and thanks to ANDREA RODRÍGUEZ I have remained in this office for always being so kind, efficient and diligent with all my questions. She always has a smile and great way of communication. I appreciate you very much for helping us in our process, which was not easy, and today I can say that I am the happiest mom in the world.

They never sent the report to my doctors office of the procedure I did. I was in a lot of pain, I wanted to talk to someone and no one answered the phone or called me back. Then I called about the report, left a message and no one called me back again. Insane. Im glad Im not working with them.

I cannot say enough nice things about this practice. Dr. Wood, her nurse Lily and literally everyone else I met was so kind, caring and smart. People would remember you. We went to other places before this but they were awful and delayed our attempts at conceiving.

Dr. Gelman is the reason I choose Ivfmd. I did my research before I even met him. He is one of the very few doctors who care about your journey and does not look at you like another chart number. He makes a plan that fits your situation and is with you every step of the way. I could not be more satisfied with him as our doctor. I am now 10 weeks pregnant and I officially graduated from the clinic. I put my trust in him and the process and now were here! I definitely will be back to see him for baby #2! Dr. Gelman is an excellent doctor. He is smart, listens to your concerns, and acts accordingly. He is highly respected in the health care industry too. Dr. Gelman proved to be the key to our success in getting pregnant after a failed attempt at IVF at another clinic. He is on top of his game and utilizes both top of the line medical expertise and a holistic approach to fertility and lifestyle. This sets him way ahead of other doctors and has really made the difference in the treatment he provided to me. He designed a protocol for me that took into consideration issues that were missed and ignored during my first cycle. He addressed every possible angle that could go wrong. His protocol and care worked and we had a cycle that produced more eggs, a higher rate of fertilization and our precious baby who is just about to be born.For anyone who has experienced pain during a transfer process, Dr. Gelman is the doctor to turn to. My first transfer at my first clinic was painful and traumatic. My transfer with Dr. Gelman was beyond perfect. I had no pain and Dr. G and his team surrounded my husband and I with humor, encouragement and all around good vibes through the whole transfer. I am beyond grateful for that.In spite of his expertise and busy schedule, he always took the time to respond to all my questions promptly and was never dismissive of my questions. He was always willing to discuss concerns and always treated my husband and I with patience, good nature and respect. He made us feel so comfortable and well cared for – an invaluable thing in the cold world of IVF treatments.Dr. Gelman provided the same level of care all the way to my graduation from IVFMD, and honestly it was bittersweet leaving his care. Having the right doctor and team is so crucial to staying sane and for success and I will always be truly grateful I found this in Dr. Gelman and his team.

This is my second time returning to dr Gelman. I suffer from pcos and was told I could never hve my own children. back in 2016 we found and met with dr Gelman and with the help of ivf I had my beautiful twins girls which are now 3 years old. Fast fast forward to 2021 we returned to him and his team because we had such an amazing experience in hopes to complete our family and add one more baby. We did an embroyo transfer and are currently pregnant with our little boy. Dr Gelman and his team are amazing and I would recommend anyone having difficulty to reach out to them. We wouldn’t have been able to build our family without them. So blessed to have found him. A dr that is experienced, highly respected and actually understands and cares. He is honest and straight to the point which is everything we were looking for.

There is deff things that needs Improvement like anywhere else, but let me tell you, Andrea Rodriguez was an angel sent to us, she doesnt have to do many things she did for me but she did, she is only responsible for financial but she would make sure nurses would return my calls, she would find out where my vial were even though this was the embryology dept jobs, she would help me find my medicines when they were back order or find me sample to help when I ran out and waited for more, she did everything with passion for her job and love, never received a no from her even if it wasnt her job, she did more than she had too, she even follow up with me afte a bad medical situation I had, she is amazing and one of the reasons why I stay with IVFMD. Also Dr. Woods is amazing, this woman have an amazing heart, she is knowledgeable and will make sure to get you pregnant, she will think outside the box and find solutions, she is loving and caring, and take her time to answer all your question, thanks to her I have my miracle baby, she never gave up and was also extremely positive and encourage me no to give up and here I am 3 months postpartum with my bundle of joy, I cant wait to come back soon for our second one. 💖 Andrea and Dr. Woods thank you for making this experience like no other. You guys kept my hopes and dreams alive.

WORST experience. AVOID this office at all costs. Pros: Everyone who drew my blood was amazing, especially Darlyng. Dr Gerkowicz was kind and caring and took the time to explain things and answer questions. UNFORTUNATELY 98% of the process is handled by INCOMPETENT staff. No matter what voicemail you leave a message on you will not get a return call. There were 4 medication errors/issues, including 1 that could have had serious medical consequences for me, and another that caused me to have to do my trigger shot in a Walgreens at night. The FINANCE department is horrendous. I actually had to contact them after my cycle was scheduled to find out the cost. Andrea had no idea about the packages they offer and gave me the incorrect information several times. They only know how to collect money. I also never had any form of communication with my “go to nurse.” Left messages never got a return call, nor did she ever reach out to me to introduce herself or follow up on anything. My partner was basically excluded from the process unless dropping off a sample. Darlying was the only person who spoke to him about the process. For an important follow appt with the Dr for OUR results, I was told to come alone. Speaking of appointments, they are never on time, even if you are the 1st of the day. I have waited up to 2.5hrs for simple blood work and US. It was a full time job trying to fix their mistakes, stay on track, run to pick up meds multiple times, get anyone to call me back, and follow up on financial issues. I’m not sure how the other locations are but Avoid this one. The Drs may be good but the staff is unqualified and unprofessional.

Andrea is horrible! Their finance department is the worst. Leeches! Only know how to collect money. they have robbed me of $9000 for no services. Seriously! I am amazed how they are up and running. Sometimes I feel like sending the cops there. What they do is literally extortion. No communication. No instructions. You have to follow up on everything and they will tell you everything on the last minute! I had so much stress and anxiety plus the money that cost for nothing, I am in therapy now! I have not even included medication and visit fees. Please!! Save yourself some time and energy! Spare yourself and go to UM if you are in Miami area. Sr Attia is the best.

Our experience here was amazing. Dr. Gelman is amazing. He shoots it straight, but my wife and I appreciate that style. We didn’t want/need fluff and empty promises. We needed to know what to expect, what the risks were, and what the probability was. We received all of that, quality service, and an amazing healthy daughter who is now 3.5 years old. The office staff here is always very friendly and very professional. Doctor Ellen Wood is a true blessing. She is well experienced and very knowledgeable. Before conducting surgery she was very informative about my condition and the options I had. She is honest and straight to the point. I couldnt be happier.

Had a gear experience Mr. Gelman in the Cooper City office is a really good Doctor. I had four transfer only one child. I’ve been doing this process since 2016. I just did my last transfer this month which was a fail transfer. I did everything that was ask off for the transfer to success. The Doctor could not give me the cause of all the fail transfer. I did ERA test Lip injections everything. No explanation why my transfer keep failing. I pay everything out of Pocket. Every time a have a fail transfer I met with the Doctor I never get a good explanation why the transfer fail. The Doctor would tell me try again . It like through money in the trash every time I try again. It fail then I go back to the same thing all over again. This time I’m done this is it for me. Three fail with 30 thousand wasted. IVF process is notEasy emotional and financial.

After a terrible experience somewhere else, we decided to give IVFmd a try. Our doctor was Sabrina Gerkowicz, she was so compassionate and caring. She always took her time with us and would personally call me to check on how I was doing when we did not conceive. She recommended IUI and we decided to give it a try and we conceived the first time! We now have a beautiful 6 month daughter all thanks to Dr Gerkowicz!

What can I say about Dr. Gelman and his staff except how overwhelmed we are with gratitude for their care, compassion, and utmost professionalism. After 3.5 years of trying to conceive and going to multiple specialists we chose Dr. Gelman at IVFMD. He listened to both me and my partner and talked to us about our lifestyles, diet, and our body in a holistic approach rather than focus solely on our reproductive systems. His compassion, humor, and genuine care truly shine through.His nurses, the office administrators, technicians, and everyone in between over the year truly made us feel confident and comfortable through this enduring journey. We are happy to report that after a successful IVF trial, we are almost 15 weeks expecting a baby girl in November.Thank you from the bottom our hearts Dr. Gelman and staff. I can’t emphasize how great Abbie is at her job. You can tell by her dedication and commitment to get the measurements/scans correctly that this is what she was meant to do. My first appointment went great , Dr. Gelman is awesome. However the stuff not so much . I literally was told five different things every time i called and it made it very frustrating. I first went in June and because of lack of communication by the stuff my follower up appointment was not until October. Gricel was the only one the really tried to help me and i am so thankful for her !!! Still on the journey let’s see how this goes .......

I went to IVF MD after trying to get pregnant for 3 1/2 years. I went to several Gyno’s who would tell me I was healthy and young and to keep trying. Until I went to the last one and I told him I wanted to get a test done. He sent me to IVF MD to get my felopian tubes Checked and that’s where I met Dr. Kenneth Gelman! I immediately started to go see him where he diagnosed me on the first visit with having PCOS and that is why I was having difficulty getting pregnant. I started my IVF journey with him and on the first try I got pregnant! I am now getting to the end of my first trimester and everything is going well! I recommend anyone that is having issues getting pregnant or keeping their baby to go see Dr. Gelman from IVF MD. He really helped me and I am forever grateful to him and his amazing staff! ❤️

I echo several of the comments on the lack of compassion, the unorganized staff, the unclear direction and information you get from the staff. Also, we only saw the doctor once maybe twice... and the rest is handled by the staff. This is a very emotional journey and was so disappointed that every time I went in I had a different nurse, telling me and instructing me different things. One nurse was soooo rude, I went to work after appt in tears! I was so stressed out from just the lack of direction and the whole unprofessional process, that I would bet it had a negative affect on the unsuccessful outcome of my IUI.It’s even sad, that not one phone call follow-up was made after I was told “sorry, you are not pregnant”. Not even from Dr. Wood.There was one Dr. that did do one of the IUI’s who was the most compassionate and knowledgable that I wish I did go to. However, she is in Miami and her name is Dr. Thompson. We had so many questions, but she said since she was not my Dr... she couldn’t answer them all for me. Other than that, I would not recommend IVF MD Cooper City, unless you are looking to waste your money and leave emotional and in tears (and not the good kind).

This is a very late post. However, I needed URGENT IVF prior to undergoing chemotherapy in 2017. Dr. Gelman was very helpful and his staff got the job done under pressure and time constraints due to my unfortunate circumstances. The office staff was sweet and dealt with me with great care and empathy at this time. Thanks to them and God, I have embryos for implanting in the future.

Dr. Gelman has been a true blessing to my husband and I. We were referred to him by a previous patient (a co-worker) when we couldnt conceive and are beyond grateful for his support, trustworthiness and knowledge throughout the whole IVF process. Hes a straight shooter, no fluff, and we really appreciated that about him as we knew when to worry and when to keep calm. Its evident he cares for his patients; hed even check in when I was feeling sick from multiple colds at the onset of pregnancy. Im an anxious person by nature and always had a list of questions for him at every appointment and he was always patient and kind, never rushing me. My last day at IVF was bittersweet; I was so excited to finally be pregnant and moving on to an OB yet sad and humbled to be leaving Dr. G. But I know well meet again! IVFMD also has a great staff-all the nurses and front desk/accounting girls were always so sweet and kind. Yvonne, the IVF specialist, is a treasure.

From our initial consultation continuing through the present (approximately 4 years) we have been treated like we are the only patients ivfmd has. Although we were treated in Cooper City, we did have occasional appointments at other locations. Everyone-including the patient and financial coordinators, nurses, and doctors-at every ivfmd facility provided us with the most incredible level of individual and you compassionate care. They all understand your needs and goals as a patient and give you their undivided attention, answering every question and providing genuine support along the way. The responsiveness we experienced during our various procedures was unparalleled, regardless of when our issues arose. In addition to the incredible level of education, care, patience, and communication we received, we were able to accomplish our goals as patients. We are the blessed parents of two healthy children which we would not have without ivfmd. We are forever grateful to Dr. Gelman, Dr. Soto, Yvonne, Belkis, Andrea, Dylin, Jennifer, Katherine, and the dozens of nurses whose names we should have done a better job of recording. If you are considering an infertility practice, please consider our experience but also look at the efficacy data (which is public record). You will hopefully conclude that ivfmd is the best option for you.

Dr. Kenneth Gelman is nothing short of excellence! As a young woman, still in my 20s, I managed to go through a hormonal imbalance, and struggled with pregnancy. Not only did Dr. Gelman help balance my hormones, we were able to finally conceive! I highly recommend anyone struggling with infertility and hormonal imbalances to go and see Dr. Gelman and his staff. Big shout out to his staff and his nurse Jennifer for always answering me back within minutes and always taking time to explain my results with me! Thank you!

When women are ttc, the last thing they want, is for someone in control to drop the ball. Both comprehension and communication plays a big role especially, when dealing with a subject of such. I have been a patient with ivfmd about 4 months now, and have yet to past the stage of meeting with the doctor to go over my results. First the nurse forgot to put in my birth control pills and advise me when to start, missed that cycle. Finally get an SIS, get a follow up appointment a week later and can’t be seen bc I was late, after I’ve already gone over this prior to the appointment that I would be15 minutes late bc of the time she had given me. Very disappointed! On another journey in search of IVF!

Dr.Gelman is an amazing doctor, he is kind ,very professional and helpful throughout process. THE OFFICE ON THE OTHER HAND IS TOO SLOW, IF YOU HAVE ANY APPOINTMENT EVEN IF ITS ONLY LABS JUST TAKE THE ENTIRE DAY OFF! IT DOESNT EVEN MATTER IF YOU GO IN AN HOUR BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT. MAKE SURE TO EAT AND STAY HYDRATED CAUSE YOU WILL BE WAITING.

I wouldn’t recommend Ellen Woods or IVFMD. I paid $17,000 (with meds) to see Ellen Woods 3 times and the most I saw here was 15 mins. So sad her staff runs the show and they are overwhelmed because it’s like a factory there. It’s so emotional as a woman to go through this situation and at the end of paying so much money you wouldn’t even see the doctor to get your results the staff gives it to you and wait for you to make another appointment for the next step. It’s disappointing that I paid out of pocket for everything and she couldn’t even spend more than 3 times with us. I’ve encountered a few errors there and sadly didn’t follow up with management better. My husband was so upset with this place that they didn’t spend time with us but make sure they get their money upfront.

Dr.Gelman was highly recommended to me and I will be forever grateful for that referral.His experience and knowledge made all the difference in my hard process.I’m greatly appreciate all of the kindness,compassion and professionalism,not only from him but from the entire team.There are no words to convey my gratitude for everything you have done.My journey was long and painful,but they made me feel that I was not alone.I’m very grateful to him and his team,we are now blessed expecting our miracle baby.I already recommended him to a friend who is pregnant with his help and I will certainly continue to recommend him.I will be forever grateful for everything ❤️

If you like to wait 45mins to 2 hours for every appointment, enjoy being told something different by every nurse you speak to, and like to throw away money, this is definitely the practice for you! Don’t say you weren’t warned.

Great place for infertility testing but when it come to do an appointment it takes forever to talk to someone and also to get an appointment. Could be up to 3 month ahead. It’s worth it though

Incompetent staff. Wasted my time with an appointment after verifying insurance only to find out they hadnt done their job and gave me false information! Very upsetting to know you cannot rely on accurate information from their staff.

Well, here I must send my old opinion, the truth is that the change has been 360 degrees, the staff behaves incredibly from the person who receives you to the person who says goodbye to you, particularly the nurses, the girls who do the echoes, I only have the names of two of them. They maître and manzikellae make me feel calm, they give me peace, they take away a little of my anxiety, they are magical. I dont want to leave Vanesa behind with her always wanting to help me defend myself since I dont speak the language, always attentive to my needs and with a lot of attitude, the nurse too. The one who draws my blood I dont remember her name but having her draw my blood is like a mosquito bite, it doesnt feel like all medical centers should have that type of staff to serve the public very very happy the truth is Dr. GELMAN IS A GOD FROM MEDICINE 💊 THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF IN GENERAL

My experience was very good, my Doctor Sabrina Gerkowicz is the best of all, a very human person, I really had no complaints with any of her workers, they all behaved very well and with a lot of empathy, thank God and her work team I managed my great miracle. Today I am in the sweet expectation of my baby boy 💙

I 100% recommend this clinic, all the staff made us feel very comfortable from the first day, they have a vocation for the work they do, my husband and I thank Dr Gelman for making our dream of becoming parents a reality.
