Dr. Tangir was very detailed with his explanation on the options of surgery that were available for my situation. His assistant was also a great help and made me feel very comfortable in my decision making. I was not just brushed off, they both were very considerate and understanding to all my questions regarding an important decision in my health.

Dr. Tangir consistently provides exceptional surgical expertise as exhibited by his proven track record. I’ve used him twice now for two totally separate issues. Excellent bed sign manners. The process beginning from diagnosis to surgery moved very quickly, which I believe is a reflection of his entire team’s operational efficiencies excellence and great customer service. My experience at Doctor Tangirs office was one of the most professional experience I have had in a long time at a Doctors office. The nurses were very personable and friendly; Doctor Tangir and his assistant were very pleasant and explained everything to me about the procedure that I had to have. I did refer one of my friends to him.

Words cannot express how amazing Dr Tangir is. I was able to see Dr Tangir two days after I had my annual gyno appointment, after my annual obgyn told me I might have ovarian pre-cancer. Knowing how upset I was, the girls in the office called me because there was a cancellation and I was able to get in sooner.....Naturally, I was extremely alarmed. I feel immensely better after meeting with the amazing Dr Tangir, who assured me everything was alright. He was incredibly warm and helpful in answering all my questions. His assistant Yeseny was very wonderful and thorough as well. I have seen a lot of doctors in my life and he is by far one of the best!!!

Doctor Tangir is great. My review rating is based on the experience with office staff. Most unprofessional staff. Either no one picks up the phone or they put you on hold for 49 mins, only to tell you to leave a voicemail. Don’t bother leaving any voicemail as no one will call you back.

Dr. Tangir treated me with respect and answered all my questions regarding the endometrial cancer before surgery. I have 100% confidence in him and so grateful he is my oncologist. I fully recommend Dr. Tangir for anyone in similar situation. You will not be disappointed.

I saw Dr. Tangir today for the first time and I am so surprised to finally find a Dr. with human qualities understanding and very professional. He performed a biopsy that I didn’t expect to have today and I wAs very nervous but I didn’t feel any pain. That is really a doctor not a business man. Thank you so much for your kindness. The. Dr. Tangir and his assistant was very nice and very professional. They allowed me to explain and ask questions at my pace without making me feel rushed.On another note, the receptionist or checkout clerk was o.k. but not so professional and seemed a bit unfocused and not very well trained on how to answer patient questions in regard to getting the blood work done i.e. the process, who to call, where to go etc. Her communication skills are not up to par. However, it is possible that I caught her on an “off” day. If I may leave a suggestion, I would advise to never assume that the patients already what to do next. Don’t just say you’re all done and hand them slips of paper.Other than that, the first visit was a pleasant one!Thanks Dr. Tangir!

But she retired and gave me a list of doctors to consider. I did my homework and must say I found a great doctor. Absolutely love Dr. Tangir!!I’ve recommended other patients to him. He’s pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and has great bedside manners. He diagnosed me with Endometriosis some years back before he even confirmed it with a biopsy. I recently returned for a check up and he is exactly as I remembered him from my past experiences. I’m sorry I forgot her name but his Physician’s Assistant was also extremely nice and thorough! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the wait time. (The review wouldn’t allow me to take off half a star) I do understand that it’s a busy practice and each patient has their individual needs that may require a little more time and I certainly don’t want to feel rushed with my examination, however, the wait time does take a little away from the total experience. It will not stop me from returning in the future if necessary. I’ll just pack a little snack.

Dr. Tangir is very thorough, personable, caring, and he takes the time to listen to your concerns. I was also impressed with the nurses and office staff for the same reasons.

There is a long wait time!! I waited 2.5 hours before meeting Dr. Tangir, the receptionist of the morning shift was rude and not helpful. But everything was worth it when I met Dr. Tangir, he is a great doctor , listened to all of my concerns and helped me. The receptionist of the afternoon shift was nice. I spent 3 hours there, go when you have time .

Dr. Tanjir is an awesome doctor. He answers your question and take time to answer your questions. He cares about his patient and hecis very compassionate. He doesnt rush out like other doctors I know. When I make my appointment, Im usually there for a long period of time but I dont get mad because he doesnt rush with his patients. I love Dr. Tanjir and Im happy to be one of his patients .

I had breast cancer 13 ago, and took Tamoxifen for 10 years, a medicine that has some minor risk of endometrial cancer for some patients. To this date, Dr Jacob Tangir has taken care of my health in a brilliant way. He is a top Gynecologist-oncologist in the área, and for me it is an honor and a relief to be under his care. His staff is also knowledgeable and caring. By the way, they call me two months in advance to remind me of my appointments

Dr. Tangirs office canceled my appointment before my surgery and instead of giving me another appointment, they tried to do everything over the phone. Needless to say, no one informed me of what was going on, what I had to do before surgery or meds that I needed to stop taking. It wasnt until I spoke to the Office Manager that they realized no one explained anything to me. I was told that the girl who schedules the surgeries would call me on Monday to go over things, I had to call the Office Manager back on Wednesday to tell her no one called. I was also misinformed (over the phone) by the Medical Assistant on when to stop taking my meds before surgery. I had to call the Office Manager three times due to no one telling me or advising me what was going on. After surgery, I had problems. When I saw Dr. Tangir two weeks after my surgery on Nov 1st, I let him know that I was in a lot of pain. He put me back on pain meds and had me leave a urine sample. He scheduled me to come back in two weeks for another follow-up. When I went back, I told him that I was having a hard time keeping food down, my stomach was still bothering me. He said he thought I had a bug. I told him that it wasnt a bug, that last time I saw him, I let him know my stomach was hurting. I also let him know about the problems I had with his office staff and he just responded that he would talk to them. I asked him the results of my urine sample that I left two weeks prior, I did not get an answer from him. Both times that I saw Dr. Tangir after my surgery, I felt like he just wanted to get in and out of the visit as quickly as possible.About two weeks after my last visit with Dr. Tangir, I ended up back in the hospital (3 days) with an infection. As soon as urine and blood tests were done, the infection was found. I think if Dr. Tangir would have taken the time to listen to me and had done further testing, I would not have ended up back in the hospital. If his nurse would have weighed me when I went to both appointments, they would have noticed a significant weight loss in that period. I had even emailed his Office Manager and asked for the results of my urine test, and she never responded. This was my worst experience ever with a doctor. I hope to never have to go through this again.

Dr.Tangir is one of a kind! I went to over 9 doctors with my symptoms and complains of awful pain and no one believed it was serious. It took one visit with Dr.Tangir he listened and believed me that something was seriously wrong, he did my surgery a few weeks ago, and I already feel a difference. I was a patient for a possible study in which they were to run several tests for an independent laboratory. I asked for my lab report and was given another womans lab results! When I realized what we were looking at, I contacted the office. I told them about the problem and asked for my lab results. I called several times and was completely ignored. Id be very concerned about the privacy of medical records getting out. Clearly in my opinion, they think if they ignore me and very possibly others, the problem will stay quiet. I was never sent my medical records, and wonder if they have been sent to other patients as theirs.

Really, really, I felt very comfortable with Dr. Tangir. He listened all my questions and worries very kindly and gave me options for my gynecology problem. I am glad I found him in my research.

Unbelievably unprofessional staff. I had a procedure tomorrow that, to me, was very frightening. I had been on edge for over a month waiting for this appointment. I called day prior to procedure (thats 1 day before I had to go in) and am informed that I must have close to a $1000 for my procedure. They had a whole month and ahalf to tell me this and failed to inform me of this. ALSO I WAS LEFT ON HOLD OVER 5 TIMES FOR A PERIOD EXTENDING ABOUT TEN MINUTES EACH TIME OR MORE. I would hang up and never get called back. I finally got ahold of someone who told me they would call back on several occassions and never did. I was not instructed as to what I should prepare for i.e. medicine I had to take before procedure (they said they left me a voicemail 1 day prior with info which I listenend to and was incorrect information) Had I not called to inquire I would not have known that I needed to pickup medicine at walgreens that they had called in for me and would of showed up to the procedure with no medication in my system as I needed to have. I had MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS AND RUDE STAFF ANSWERING PHONES WHO HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON OR WHAT I NEEDED TO DO. IT SEEMS NOONE THERE COMMUNICATES AND THEY REALLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH JUST YOUR MONEY. I WOULD CLEARLY STAY AWAY. NEEDLESS TO SAY I CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT AND WILL NEVER RETURN. THEY HAD ME WAITING A MONTH FOR THIS TO THEN TURN AROUND AND TREAT ME WITH DISRESPECT, MEDICAL NEGLECT AND DISMISSIVE LITTLE ATTITUDES THAT I RECEIVED ALL DAY. YOUR STAFF NEEDS A TOTAL REBOOT ESPECIALLY WHEN DEALING WITH PATIENTS GOING THROUGH MAJOR DECISIONS AND THINGS THAT CAN POTENTIALLY CHANGE THEIR LIVES. IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO ME BECAUSE I WAS NOT SEEN ON TIME AFTER WAITING SO LONG I KNOW WHO TO BLAME. THEY ALSO DID NOT GO OVER ALL OF THE OPTIONS FOR THIS PROCEDURE SO THAT I COULD MAKE A DECISION BASED ON MY PAIN THRESHOLD AND ETC. NEVER AGAIN. THIS PLACE WAS A BIG MISTAKE.
