I am writing this review to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Dr. Winslow during our IVF journey. Navigating the IVF process was undoubtedly challenging, but Dr. Winslow’s professionalism, attentiveness, and empathy made a significant difference for us.Additionally, I want to commend the entire office staff. From the front desk to the nursing staff, everyone truly seems to care about our well-being, which greatly eased our experience.I am thrilled to share that we are now proud parents of our first child, thanks to the remarkable support and expertise we received throughout our treatment. It is hard to put into words how thankful we are for Dr. Winslow and his incredible team.Thank you once again for everything!

Dr. Gentry is absolutely amazing! She made us feel welcomed and more than “just a number” beginning with our initial visit. She makes sure you understand the steps/process and is willing to go above and beyond to answer any questions you may have. Dr. Gentry is very personable which made this process a lot easier. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Gentry to anybody seeking help with their fertility journey. We will definitely use her again when it is time for baby #2!

I have to say this is the best doctors office I’ve ever come across. I wish more doctors were like these people, from entering the office to your visit - such heart felt and caring people working here. I want to especially thank Dr. Sundaram who has been truly amazing from reassurance, kindness, knowledge, making you feel heard, and always being able to explain the processes that are undergoing. I’m thankful for her help and I’m glad I chose her as my RE doctor.

We transferred to FIRM from another local clinic and are so glad that we did. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. Dr. Erb and literally all of the staff have been so kind and helpful throughout the IVF process. Dr. Erb is so calm and kind and always took the time to listen to us as well as answer all of our questions. Patty is literally the sweetest and was quick to get back to us regarding questions and/or results. I never felt like we were left hanging or that we were lacking guidance which we experienced at our previous clinic. So grateful for the entire FIRM team!

Dr. Winslow and his amazing team are phenomenal! We did IUI for our first baby and of course went back when we were ready for another baby. We trust him so much. He’s so knowledgeable and trustworthy and truly a great doctor. We appreciate the entire team and can’t thank them all enough for the warmth they provide each time we go there!

Billing issues were a nightmare. I would be quoted one price, and then charged another. We would pay one bill, only to have the same bill be sent the following month. This place tried to over charge us 5k at one point and that’s when I had to physically go to their downtown office to sort it out. They would charge fees when they wanted to and when they missed a fee they would call it an oversight and somehow it would be our issue? Dr. Winslow was our doctor for our embryo transfer to our surrogate. Our first transfer he called my surrogate a different name, which was so unprofessional. I would not recommend this place of business to anyone looking to expand their family.

Dr. Winslow was completely rude and careless of our efforts to start IVF instead of taking a chance on another IUI after our first one resulted in a miscarriage. He discredited my obgyn that attempted to help me with my first IUI a year ago. He spoke to me, a woman, whom has 17 years of experience in bleeding once a month, like I didn’t understand my anatomy or cycle. Told me my at home test were trash and to use clear blue, sir they’re all the same. Read the box. He would have rather me spend 2k on IUI two more times, than to start IVF. He proceeded to tell me it would cost me $15,000 to do IVF, when he barely listened to anything I had to say, told me I would not need harsh medication cycles. But then gives me a price right off the bat. Which might I add, the website needs to be updated if your single round cost $15,000.The compassion was lost here.

My husband and I have been going through IVF with PGT-M with Dr. Sundaram and have had a great experience. She has been very kind, attentive, thorough, and I genuinely trust her clinical judgment. The rest of the staff have also been so supportive and knowledgeable and have made the process go as smoothly as possible. I have only good things to say about this practice and feel very grateful that we chose to grow our family with FIRM!

Beware they will qoute one price then send bills using the charges definitely fraudulent billing Occuring by FIRMFiRM is absolute trash. Surprise billing is their true specialty despite being forced to pay everything up. 500 dollars for Tylenol just an example of their their billing practices. FiRM is the example of what wrong with heatlhcare system. Nickel and dime people simply trying to get help. they also Force unnecessary and unproven testing just to squeeze more money out of you.The office staff is treats people horrible, demeaning and disrespectful when just trying to get explanations.

My experience with FIRM has been top notch. I had recently switched to FIRM after a bad experience with another local fertility clinic and although it was stressful to start over, it was the best decision I ever made. I knew it was at my first appointment. Although the odds of conceiving were very low, I felt from my first meeting with Dr Winslow that he would do everything to help me bring my miracle baby earth side. From the front desk to the behind the scenes embryologist, I was treated with kindness and compassion. I saw both Dr. Gentry and Dr. Erb when Dr. Winslow was out of the office and I never once had to tell my story. They knew everything about me and made me feel confident in their decisions. To the nurses, thank you. Patty, you are one of the most compassionate and caring nurses I have ever met. My journey wasn’t easy and my odds were not in my favor but you always gave me hope. I always felt that regardless of my outcome, I would be forever grateful for the experience I had at FIRM. I am beyond blessed to be welcoming a little girl in a couple of weeks and owe it all to the FIRM. My care was individualized and set around my body and it’s response to each step throughout my treatment. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who is struggling and thinking about looking into fertility treatments. I can promise you that FIRM will do their best to give you the same outcome I was blessed with.

We have been going through IVF treatment for the past three years. I have been treated in NC with 3 embryo transfers, 2 failed, with one miscarriage. We moved to FL last year and found Dr. Winslow at FIRM. We were beginning to become discouraged and were desperate for help when we arrived. Dr. Winslow and his staff were extremely supportive and friendly. My first appointment was meeting with him in his office. I was very impressed by this. Instead of just reviewing my records and jumping straight to an exam, he wanted to hear my journey from me, in detail. To me this makes a huge difference in patient care. He recommended genetic testing of all future embryos. Which we did and very thankful for. Our first transfer failed at FIRM, but we remained positive and pushed forward. After that he performed a hysteroscopy on me ( I feel that this procedure was the reason we had success). The next transfer resulted in a healthy pregnancy!!! I am now 25 weeks pregnant with our first baby boy and over joyed! Dr. Winslow did what we were beginning to think was impossible! Huge shout out to his nurse Patty as well! She was right there with us each step of the way and ensured that we had everything we needed! She is a very compassionate and caring nurse! Dr. Winslow is extremely knowledgeable and one of the best doctors I have ever seen while doing IVF! Highly recommend if you are struggling with infertility! I am so thankful for FIRM and the entire staff for helping us become parents and making our dreams come true!

The care, compassion, and professionalism of the staff at FIRM is unmatched. We switched to FIRM after a not so pleasant experience at another clinic in the area. At each appointment, I was seen on time and greeted by a friendly face. From the front desk staff to the medical assistants to the office staff, it was evident that this team truly cares and has a passion for what they do. Dr. Winslow is truly an incredible physician. Dr. Gentry and Dr. Erb were also amazing and gave me much comfort the few times I saw them in the office. Dr. Winslow very carefully and methodically ensured that my body was at an optimal state for a successful pregnancy before transfer by running a battery of tests to create the most inviting home for our precious embryo. Rather than force my body into a schedule that allows the clinic to do all their retrievals and transfers in a routinized, assembly line like manner, Dr. Winslow instead provided an individualized plan for me and allowed my body to dictate appointment dates and times. This was honestly the single most important factor to me- I wanted to feel less like just another number and receive care that was personalized to my needs. We had success on our first try thanks to the conscientiousness of this first class team. We will most definitely be back for baby #2!

I couldn’t recommend Dr. Winslow and the FIRM enough if you are struggling with infertility issues. My husband and I felt extremely well cared for by Dr. Winslow and his staff. He is professional and compassionate to your issues and won’t waste your time. As we were traveling back and forth from Macon, GA for treatment, they were very understanding and organized with all of our appointments. Our little girl was born a year to the day of our first appt at the FIRM! She is perfectly healthy. Dr. Winslow and his nurses have given us our biggest blessing in life and we are eternally grateful.

I am so grateful for Dr. Winslow and everyone else at FIRM, without whom I would not be a mother to a beautiful and healthy 2 month old. I had such a great experience from start to finish which included 3 failed IUI’s and 1 successful IVF. I recommend anyone struggling with infertility to consult with Dr. Winslow. He is highly competent and I trusted him entirely.

I cannot begin to express how thankful we are for our drs and all staff at the FIRM! We had a bad experience at another local fertility clinic and the FIRM has been nothing short of amazing. We have used Drs: Winslow, Gentry & Sundaram! They have all been so helpful at getting us through egg retrieval. We can’t wait to continue working with them to get our miracle baby!

I couldn’t be happier with the services and results from FIRM. I was always able to get an appointment within a day or two from when I called. The staff was very kind and helpful. They explained everything to me and made sure I knew what to do. Dr Winslow was amazing! He listened and adjusted the treatment plan as needed based on what was going on with my hormones and body. He answered any questions I had and provided information about the treatment to keep me informed. I can’t recommend him enough. He was able to help us conceive in less than 6 months after 9 years of trying and other doctors.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the staff at FIRM. They really put us at ease during this stressful time in our lives. They even made it a point to ease my worries about finances, my billing person was out on leave for weeks and Carla in billing was very knowledgeable and responsive, she was pleasure to work with. The staff at FIRM has over all made this process a lot easier by being so kind and compassionate. There are honestly no words to express my gratitude for my bundle of joy!

Amazing team and Dr! I have been seeing Dr. Winslow and his team for 4 years now and cant say enough good things! I have grown very close to Pam and Carla. FIRM IS THE BEST!!!!We had our 1st daughter via IVF at a local Orlando clinic in 2019. We then had 3 IVF miscarriages and was told we’d need a surrogate. In my bones I knew that wasn’t true. I insisted on testing our remaining embryos along w ones from a new cycle (may 2021) and they were all abnormal except 1 from the new cycle.I heard that FIRM in Jacksonville was using HGH and getting great results. I drove 4 hours round trip to consult w Dr Duffy. He was fantastic, listened to my concerns, and had a plan for me right away. He actually suggested the 1 cycle plan, but I insisted on the 3 cycle one (as more of a guarantee for myself that I could get at least 1 more baby). The next week Dr Duffy announced he was leaving and I was crushed.I did a re-consult with Dr Winslow that week and went over the treatment plan and he was very reassuring and agreed with what Dr Duffy had in place.I had a couple of normal bumps in the road (cysts, ovulating through Bc) but ultimately we got SIX normal embryos from my 1st cycle. We did extra testing that wasn’t recommended but I requested and they followed my wishes which I really appreciated since we were out of pocket. It made me feel heard for the 1st time in this IVF process. Ultimately the tests came back normal but it was so reassuring to me that we left no stone unturned.Dr Winslow was my doctor but Dr Erb did my retrieval and my transfer and she was so compassionate and caring,My 1st transfer at firm resulted in our beautiful baby girl. She was the answer to our prayers.Dr Winslow was so great and even got me in for an extra reassurance ultrasound until I was released to my OB. He always knew my husband and daughters name and my history when he walked into the room. He’s fabulous.Pam the nurse is a GODSEND. I called non stop (hello, anxiety!) and she never made me feel rushed or badly for calling. She also held my hand during my transfer since my husband had my daughter in the waiting room.Office staff: I always got a call back the same day. This was such a breath of fresh air coming from a clinic who didn’t call back or sent a portal message instead (so if you had further questions you were out of luck.)Billing: the billing dept was rocky at first bc they were going through some changes but any error was fixed quickly. They have since gotten so much better.Ultimately we drove 4 hours round trip to every appointment and it was 100% worth it.I HIGHLY recommend FIRM. I couldn’t be happier.

No words will ever adequately convey how thankful I am for Dr. Winslow and the team at FIRM. Struggling with infertility is never easy, but from my first consultation to the day we graduated, I felt cared for and supported on this journey. I went into every appointment feeling like every single team member was rooting for us. If you are struggling to get pregnant, this is where you want to be.

I can’t express how much apprehension and doubt I had about pursuing my fertility journey, but after my initial consultation with Dr. Winslow I knew I had to pursue it. He was straight forward about my options at my age while telling me to pursue IVF for the best chance at pregnancy and I appreciated it. I listened and followed the required steps for IVF... contacting Catherine who was patient and understanding every step of the way. Unfortunately, I was heartbroken at experiencing a failed first round. I then went through my second round and am now almost 8 weeks pregnant. It’s been a personal emotionally stressful journey that was handled with care by everyone at the FIRM. I am so grateful for everything Dr. Winslow and staff have done for my husband and I. I highly recommend them to anyone struggling with fertility.Update:I am very excited to announce that I gave birth to our beautiful son over 3 weeks ago. Again... I can’t thank everyone, at the FIRM, enough for the priceless gift they gave me.

Dr Winslow made our dreams come after 3 years of infertility and failed treatment with local Obgyns. He truly listened to our concerns and made appointments understandable. Flexible scheduling and always fitting you in for needed unexpected appointments when needed. We have our 3 week old miracle with his help. We’re forever grateful to him and his staff !!

We absolutely LOVE everyone at FIRM. Pam helped us out throughout the entire process, she along with the entire staff was more than happy to explain everything in detail. We started our journey with Dr Duffy with testing and IUIs. Dr Winslow did our retrieval and Dr Erb did our transfer. We can finally say that she was WORTH EVERY SHOT.

SO thankful for Dr. Winslow and everyone at FIRM! Every single person on that team treated us like family, always with a big smile! After 4 miscarriages (prior to going to FIRM) and one failed round of IVF, Dr. Winslow never swayed and stayed positive. He encouraged us to do another round when I thought it was useless due to my poor egg quality. I’m so glad we did. Dr. Winslow included growth hormones in the second round of shots. Trying to get pregnant—and not being able to—is horrible. I felt like I was broken and it would never happen for us. Then we were referred to the FIRM and Dr. Winslow.Dr. Winslow was always honest and fair with us, listened to our concerns, and gave us realistic expectations with each treatment. Never did I feel like we were getting a sales pitch; instead, we felt like we were always given the full picture, options, and then were able to make our own decisions. I know most people pay out of pocket for fertility treatments, like we did, so it was nice to feel in control of the process. The prices were always given up front, and we never incurred a “surprise” invoice, bill, or charge—which made budgeting for IVF so much easier.I really loved that we always saw a doctor, had our questions answered with a simple phone call, and how the entire staff became like family. Dr. Winslow, nurse Patty, and Carla at the front desk were always so encouraging and helpful. I can honestly say that without the personalized and compassionate care, we probably would have never made it to where we are today: pregnant with our first child! They made something that was overwhelming and heartbreaking into something manageable and beatable. Thank you FIRM!

I came in for treatment after I suffered my miscarriage. I had nothing but great experience. I seen Dr. Winslow and he was very informative, knowledgeable and very compassionate towards me. I had great experience with the rest of the staff. I have to say Thank you to Linda in the billing department. I was self pay and she was very helpful and explained all the different financial options and helped me with all my many questions that I kept calling about. I highly recommend!!

I am a gestational surrogate so I cannot speak on the clinics methods of dealing with my own personal infertility or their billing dept, but as a surrogate I had a wonderful experience. Throughout the entire process I felt that my questions and concerns were listened to and answered well. Dr. Winslow was friendly and reassuring throughout the process. The nurses on staff were always in a good mood and patient. Everything was explained to me in great detail leading up to the embryo transfer and and all test results were given to me promptly. I highly recommend this clinic and would definitely work with them again. I am currently 34 weeks pregnant for a couple and it is thanks for the open-minded and compassionate staff at F.I.R.M.

2021: I have delayed writing this review because I am honestly at a loss for words. Dr. Winslow and his staff have been incredible to us in the process of bringing our daughter into this world. September of 2020 we welcomed our precious baby girl from one of our embryos from over a decade ago. I still am amazed she is here with us. It is so surreal. She was carried to us through surrogacy. Cindy made the surrogacy process super smooth. She was a breeze to work with and answered our many questions along the way. I am forever grateful to the staff for their support and love for our family. No review could ever do them justice.2013: It is hard to put into words how thankful I am for Dr. Winslow and his staff. My husband and I have walked a tough road and are so thankful for our doctor who has walked alongside us. Dr. Winslow cares deeply for his patients and wants only to see couples receive the gift of life that God gives. He is an amazingly intelligent, gifted, kind, and caring doctor who has years of experience in his field. God uses this man in amazing ways and we praise the Lord for him continually. Even if the Lord never gives us the gift of a biological child, we will forever cherish the relationships we have made at the F.I.R.M. We are humbled at their continual desire and care to see my husband and I become parents. I am thankful that God has entrusted us to the incredible care of Dr. Winslow and his team.

We love FIRM! They are responsible for our beautiful baby girl, and our twins! We use Dr. Erb and she has always been wonerful! Pam is also a super star.

The doctor is very unprofessional and lacks compassion. She shared personal things about the patient to loved ones that the patient didn’t want shared. All they could talk about was wanting us to come back and try again. They want more money. The doctor won’t even return a call. We were told a reconsult would have to be scheduled and would cost even more money. This doctor in the wrong field and makes the institute look bad.

This clinic did nothing but completely throw off my hormonal balance and botch our IUI. Dr. Gentry was our original doctor, but once she had a family emergency, she was completely unavailable the day before our first IUI. Dr. Winslow and their new nurse practitioner saw me for my US the day before our IUI and said I had a great response to Clomid and didnt need the HCG trigger shot for the IUI.Well, that ended up not being the case according to Pam, a nurse with a terrible attitude who I had to deal with weeks after the IUI failed and I stopped menstruation all together. I used to have a normal, balanced cycle, but now because of them, we now not only have no pregnancy, we also have no chance at one as I stopped menstruation all together after they started me on the maximal Clomid dose and didnt even give me a trigger shot.I called their clinic multiple times, same my primary care doctor multiple times, and went to urgent care twice over this. Every time I called, they acted like I was bothering them. They only agreed to see me after I hit cycle day 40. They ran labs and made me wait in their office for 2+ hours for the results still NPO only to talk to Pam, a nurse with a nasty attitude. She could not have been more condescending to me. Dr. Erb was there, but apparently had no interest in coming to help one of Dr. Gentrys abandoned patients. My IUI was 8/27 and I still have no menstrual cycle, when I used to be regular and on-time each month.I have already started the process of reporting this nightmare clinic and going to a different one. FIRM is a dangerous, neglectful group of people with zero compassion for their patients. The south office front desk staff act like bouncers against us every time we have asked to talk to a doctor. They cant even get simple insurance updates correct. They messed up my health, our finances, and our future hope for a child at all.I am an ICU nurse. I know what I am talking about here. This is my warning to you. Go to another clinic and run far away from this one.

Dr. Winslow is a genius! He explained the importance of following the treatment and timing and that was hard because I like to always control things but I listened. I actually look forward to going to the office and talking to the downtown girls. They were my cheerleaders the entire time. The last day I was emotional and did not want to leave. Dr. Winslow and his staff will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for my little girl!

Firm is not the first infertility clinic I’ve been to, however it’s the first one I haven’t felt like just a paycheck to my doctor. Dr gentry and her team make me feel like I’m their only patient. They answer all of my crazy questions and never make me feel rushed. Dr gentry works at two locations, the baptist downtown and south. I am born and raised here in jax and I HATE going downtown, however FIRM is the only doctors office that can convince me to come down here!

I highly recommend Dr. Winslow and his staff. My husband and I are blessed to be pregnant with twins. Dr. Winslow is knowledgeable and professional. Amy Graham got frequent emails and calls from me and she did a great job answering my questions. I thank God for our little miracles and the part FIRM played in helping to answer our prayers.

No star wasn’t an option. I waited four weeks for a new patient appointment with the first available physician, but I’ve been waiting 20 years to finally come to terms with conceiving as a single professional. I completed detailed paperwork online to even be considered for an appointment My appointment was confirmed by text for 3:15 and when I arrived, the office said “sorry Dr Kevin Winslow has left, we left a voicemail changing your appointment to 2:45 bc Dr Winslow has a meeting.” I said my appointment was confirmed for 3:15 just yesterday at 2:27 via text. After some scurrying and checking the system, Dr Winslow appeared and rushed me back to his office without a handshake or kind greeting. Instead he said “did you get lost?” as we zipped past expectant mothers on the way to his corner office. I was mortified. It took me years to get to a place where my insurance would cover three rounds of IVF, and this is how the physician greets me? A new patient seeking fertility assistance? Rushed and shamed for not getting a voicemail which contradicted a confirmed text time for 3:15 deserves an apology and glass of lemonade. I left Dr Winslow and called Brown Fertility. I hope anyone reading this does the same.

Dr. Winslow and his entire staff are absolutely amazing! They are caring, compassionate, and professional. From our first meeting to conceiving our first babies (yes we are having twins), I have been absolutely impressed by Dr. Winslow. At our first appointment Dr. Winslow took the time to example the process, what to expect, and the steps we would be taking in the journey to conceive. He was absolutely incredible through the entire process. He made a plan for us and his plan was a great success. After our first round of IUI my husband and I conceived twins! We were all surprised that their were 2 but overly excited! Dr. Winslow continued to follow us until I was 8 weeks along and then I returned to my general OB/GYN. I have nothing but praises for Dr. Winslow and his staff! They are all phenomenal and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone struggling with infertility! Dr. Winslow is the best! He is intelligent, personable, and confident! We thank him for blessing us with the gift of childbearing and we cant wait to meet our twins in April 2018!!!

My husband and I began seeing Dr. Winslow at FIRM in September 2019. Our initial consultation was quick and to the point. Dr. Winslow is very friendly and understanding, but doesnt waste any time (something we both really appreciated!) He wanted us to start with IUI because we seemed like good candidates based on our history. We did one round in October that was unsuccessful, then immediately went for round 2 in November. Dr. Winslow slightly changed my protocol for better odds and it worked!! We found out on Thanksgiving day that we were expecting after 4 years with no luck! My only regret is that we didnt go sooner! Thank you to FIRM for treating us with so much respect and genuinely making us feel important and not just another patient! We cannot wait for August 2020!!

Ive been meaning to write this review FOREVER ago! Dr. Winslow and all the staff members at the FIRM were just amazing. Having experience from other reproductive clinics I feel that I can give a fair opinion on how my treatment and experience was and I will say that hands down this is the place to go! Not only are they top notch when it comes to knowledge, technology, and success (we now have sweet boy girl twins) but they are also so kind and truly care about each patient they treat. Thank you so much for giving me the great gifts in life!! I already have sent so many couples to you and will continue to do so..... You guys are awesome!!

I really wanted to like FIRM since it is conveniently located to my workplace, but I had to give up convenience for better patient care and Im glad that I did.Dr. Erb was good and seems to genuinely care for her patients, but that does put her behind. I had two back-to-back appointments where she was running 20+ minutes late and no one in the office thought it was appropriate to at least notify me that I would be seen next. During one of those times, I was waiting in the ultrasound room and started getting anxious with how long I had been waiting without an update, so I called the front desk while I sat in there to get an update. They sounded annoyed that I even asked! I would have appreciated some kind of notification just so I didnt have to worry or think the worst. Its basic customer service. Dr. Erb eventually came in and apologized profusely. The next time my husband was there too and we were having our IVF initial consult with her. We both had to take time off in the middle of the day to attend this meeting with her and she was again significantly late with no update. Because of his own work schedule, my husband had to leave after only 30 minutes with the doctor (rather than the hour that we needed and had planned for). Patients deserve better.Our consult about IVF and results of our previous treatment are the main reason we finally decided to leave. Because that consult time was cut in half, we didnt get to address many of our questions and much of IVF was not fully covered. We also got the impression from the doctor that IVF may not even work for us without much of an explanation why. This was disheartening and confusing. Why spend thousands of dollars at a place that is hesitant about your success there? If they (the experts) are unsure that it would work, why would that help your own confidence? Thankfully, we are now at another clinic where the doctor is much more confident and experienced with our diagnosis.Finally, they do advertise that they have a support group which seemed wonderful. However, I was unable to get connected with it whenever I tried. I called the office twice and asked to speak with the group leader. Once I left a voicemail for her asking for details about the group but that call was never returned. I was still optimistic by what a support group could offer us, so my husband and I drove 30 minutes across Jax to the church address listed on the clinics flyer. THERE WAS NO SUPPORT GROUP. The church staff didnt even know what I was talking about. I have no idea how old that flyer is but they really should update it or remove it from the waiting room and every single treatment room. How embarrassing and frustrating. Is this really what you want your patients to feel, FIRM? So disappointing.

I DO NOT recommend dr Winslow for iuis.. or this place to be honest. The only positive times I had were with dr Gentry. Dr Winslow’s bedside manner on the weekend I came in was horrible. He accused me of not calling about an appointment etc, whenever I did literally the day before to schedule that morning. Never apologized for scolding us like kids basically. And on top of it that day, they messed up my PRESCRIPTION when it got sent to the pharmacy… I’ve never encountered a mix up like that and now I know to always check. I proceeded to try to call to talk to him about it, they told me he was too busy to talk and let me talk to his nurse which in turn told me it was my fault for not checking and that I should of checked it against the paper they gave me. Dr Winslow told me that paper was for if they didn’t have it so that I could go else where to get it..

After three years of trying we finally had gotten pregnant off our fourth round of clomid with Dr.Duffy. Unfortunately that ended in a miscarriage and a couple surgeries later were now on round three of letrozole and with Dr.Winslow and though it hasn’t been an easy journey! I’m so so grateful to have such a caring and amazing team! 2022 is the year we will have a successful pregnancy and bring home my first baby:)

Been a patient since 2015 visited the Daytona office and did not have a pleasant visit. Off back the doctor said I would have to do IVF. Did not run any test or try to even see what we can do before that was an option. I went to the South office back in 2019, which the staff there was very nice and comforting and always greeted me with a smile. Dr. Duffy was very informative and he was the first to start us on a plan. Im giving 3 stars because when I was going thru IUI and IVF process I did not see the same doctor for any of my procedures which Im more comfortable dealing with one doctor. While going thru IVF we ended up having a failed cycle and was told that possibly we could have been in the batch that used this new liquid in the petri dish, but then when we asked on a later appointment we were told no that wasnt the case so that left me a little sketchy. Had a very hard time getting in contact with billing and they advise my husband and I of one thing and did something else with funds without my consent. Also with some of the doctors I felt as if I was just a money symbol and not a patient and wasnt handled as such.

Update 8 Feb, 2022: Just received another $200 bill despite going through paperwork weeks ago to finally destroy my specimen and be done with FIRM forever. Im too busy with my cancer treatment to take this harassment any longer, and Im going to have to get a lawyer.Update 17 Jan, 2022: FIRM continues to send me bills for storage, despite closing my account entirely last year. Theyre working on it to see what consent forms they might need from me to discard my own sample at my request - I cant believe I just typed that. I beg you, if you read this review, save yourself the chronic hassle. Avoid this establishment like the parasite that it is.As other reviewers have said, awful billing department. Three times they have sent erroneous bills - adding on charges that are explained as an oops. Im not sure if its ignorance or malice, but I would strongly advise against this office. They even bill for phone calls! Ill be sure to leave a negative review with the BBB. Presently awaiting a zero balance statement so I can fight the inevitable, unauthorized future charges.

I loved our experience at the firm. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. Dr. Winslow was amazing. He did everything to ensure we were comfortable and got positive results. We went thru IUI and got pregnant our first try and he did everything possible after our positive to make sure we had a healthy pregnancy. I am now 11 weeks pregnant. We will definitely be returning in the future for our next babies. We couldnt be anymore pleased with our experience with the firm!

Our IVF experience with The FIRM was 5 star and would recommend this fertility clinic to anyone struggling to conceive. From our many consultations with our main Doctor, Dr Duffy and our egg retrieval with him, our egg retrieval appointment with Dr Freeman and finally our transfer with Dr Sproul von Goeben. We cannot thank them enough for what they have done for us. We were fortunate enough to get pregnant on our first transfer and our son was born December 17 of this year. Our journey through infertility wasn’t easy but the staff at The FIRM made every step very enjoyable and an amazing experience we will never forget. We can’t leave out the nurses and staff that were there for us for anything we needed, Pam, Emma, Domino, Stephanie, just to name a few. They were an amazing support system. We will always cherish the memories we had with The FIRM!

I had a horrible experience and still having one. The billing manager Linda is refusing to provide me with an itemized bill. If a customer has insurance regardless if insurance denies the claim it should still be used first. I got dismissed from the practice because I am standing up for my rights and WORK in healthcare!!!! Tried reaching out to the practice manager but I am not getting any call backs. I also advised to not have my debit card ran until i received the itemized bill and they attempted TWICE after I sent and email and had a phone call to not do it. The integrity is awful.

My husband and I were very pleased with our experience working with FIRM. Communication with the office staff was always simple and speedy. I felt confident in their instructions and expectations. I appreciated that the majority of evaluations and treatments could be done in their office.

Run!!!!! The office staff is HORRIBLE. For such a sensitive emotional time in your life, the office staff could careless. You will NEVER get ahold of anyone in billing or office manager Maribel. They will never return your multiple calls. For spending thousands of $$$ and being in the medical field, you will get NOTHING from this staff. And Maribel who runs the staff, could careless and will avoid you at all cost. The Physicians are great and compassionate, but its sad they dont have caring and functional office staff.

Update: Avoid at all costs. My wife ad I have been patients at the downtown FIRM for several months and attempted to complete 1 round of IVF with them. Unfortunately, our experience has been negative. The support staff has been unreliable, unprofessional, and unhelpful. We have had multiple problems with billing: first and foremost, no one in billing will respond to us on the first try via phone or email. We wait for days and weeks with no email response, repeatedly leave voicemails, and we have been repeatedly told that Linda Jackson is the only staff member who can take care of billing questions. Linda is almost impossible to get a hold of, and she will not give the common courtesy of even acknowledging how many times we had to ask the same question before hearing any response. They claim they do not have the ability to provide invoices for bills that have already been paid, which has made using our FSA to pay for our out-of-pocket costs difficult. On our start day when we paid over $12,000 on our credit cards, they apparently also somehow billed the insurance from my wifes previous job from over 9 months ago (which never covered fertility therapy anyway), and we have now received a bill from them, with no response from Linda in billing for a week. She might as well not even work there for the amount help she has provided.On top of that, there is no supervisor to report concerns to. There seems to be no accountability for any of the staff. They go about their day, while we (you) want to have a child. You are a number to them, you are a paycheck to them, nothing more. And this review I am writing will go unacknowledged, because they know you, (the person reading this) want so desperately to have a child that you will go to them anyway.I am a healthcare worker, I understand how busy things get. But that doesnt mean that you cannot acknowledge when you could have done better, and acknowledge inconveniences that are clearly your responsibility.Finally, we are under the impression that the embryologist here may have accidentally destroyed all 12 eggs that were retrieved from my wife. The doctor states she has never in her career seen eggs disintegrate the way ours did immediately upon attempted fertilization. Upon review with a second IVF doctor in another state, this does not reflect a typical problem that old or low quality eggs have, but rather a possible mishandling in the lab. Unfortunately, FIRM told my wife that this likely occurred because of her advanced age. My wife is 36.For your own peace of mind, I recommend you look elsewhere for help with your fertility troubles. Look out of state. We are going to Colorado to give this one last shot. Good luck everyone.Initial review:While our experience has just begun, we are already seeing a communication issue. We have called twice now in a week period and we have yet to receive a call back. For the amount of money we are going to be paying, I think a 24 hour window to call your patient back is appropriate. Yet here we are a week later and zero communication.

How do I even begin to review a place for something that was the hardest thing Ive ever walked through? If I can suggest one thing to anyone reading and struggling to find a doctor in this field, it would be to get yourself a consult with Dr. Erb. Run, dont walk. Seriously. She is the kindest, most patient, understanding, and truthful doctor, not to mention reproductive endocrinologist, Ive ever met. She listens to every word and is extremely knowledgeable in this field. She made it so easy to trust her wholeheartedly after being let down and wounded by another. She was there for me with a hug for my tears, had advice with concerns moving forward, but never pushed anything and was always super respectful of our decisions. I literally could NOT have made it through IVF without her and her support. The nurses and staff were always so super sweet as well. A huge fat THANK YOU to Dr. Erb and her team for being there for me and my husband every step of the way.And a shout out to Linda in the Tallahassee office for always remembering my voice when I called and being the sweetest ever to us! Forever grateful!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Duffy for 7 years. Hes the most knowledgeable, caring, and professional provider in a field that all of those qualities truly make a difference. The nurses are all spectacular, especially Suzanne (who is sweeter than an angel). FIRM and Dr. Duffy helped us to have 3 healthy children after many many miscarriages. We owe them more than words can describe. I cant imagine a more challenging field of medicine, and they have mastered it. :)

After a difficult experience with another doctor a friend told us about Dr.Winslow. We immediately made an appointment and from the first appointment until the last we were treated like family. Cannot wait to stop by one day with my baby and introduce her to the great team that helped us get her. Patty, Marbel,and Melissa were AWESOME! Dr.Winslow you ROCK!

Engaged at 38, I spent my whole life focused on my career and put having a baby on hold, thinking I had plenty of time. I went to my regular OB at 40 to get checked and she told me everything was fine and to call her when I got pregnant and sent me on my way. 4 months later I called the FIRM and asked for an appointment. We met with Dr. Winslow who was very firm but honest with us about our chances of having a child. We spent exactly 12 months with the team at the FIRM and here I am expecting our first nugget at the age of 42. At no point did I ever not feel truly loved and cared for at every visit. Everyone in this office is simply wonderful and feels truly like family. Although Dr. Winslow was our physician we were blessed to be cared for by Dr. Duffy, Dr. Erb and Dr. von Goeben. Each one of them fought for every egg, every follicle and every chance of hope blended with science. I always felt like a person, never a statistic and I always felt they would not give up on me until our baby was on its way. I always felt informed and they always took the time to speak with me and answer my questions. There was always a plan at every stage, and it was because of their hard work and dedication, we never gave up hope. Of course, the true angels are these nurses who work tirelessly to educate and review every medication, answer every crazy question I had and hug me when I felt I would never be a mom. They always pick up the phone when I call and take the time to explain everything to me I am too embarrassed to ask the doctor! Huge shout out to Lorena, Patti, Catherine, Suzanne and Sophie. They each feel like my sisters and I hope they will continue to be a part of our little ones life. When we got the news we were pregnant, everyone and I mean everyone came out to hug me and celebrate. I have never felt so cared for and genuinely loved as a patient. Everyone in this office will hold a very special place in my heart always. For them, it is everyday work creating these miracles, but it means so much to me. I know I would never get to experience pregnancy or the gift of motherhood without them. I can never express my gratitude and appreciation. We are truly blessed to be first time parents....especially at this age. If you are looking for the best combination of science, hope and love, you have found it at the F.I.R.M.

My husband and I love everyone at the downtown Jacksonville location. Dr. Winslow hard to read but so knowledgeable and informative he gave was amazing Still active patients, just waiting for success. That was in 2017.Its now 2022 and our girl is 3.5 years.

Dr. Winslow and the staff were very supportive and friendly during our whole experience. We had success during our first cycle and our son will be 6 months on November 15th. We are very grateful for their help and are glad we chose FIRM!

I love Dr. Lipari and this is why there are two stars. If I could give 0 stars for his staff, I most definitely would. As many others have indicated their billing department is horrendous. Despite multiple attempts to fix a billing error I have been ignored and pushed aside. Once someone finally realized that it was a fraudulent charge they up coded several bills that were still possible to change so that instead of having a payback situation of $700, they would receive $1200 more dollars from me. BCBS continuously rejected their erroneous claims and I get to pay for it. Despite Dr. Lipari being a wonderful physician and surgeon I would never encourage anyone to attend this facility. Why they State has not completed an audit on them is pure neglect.

I went to FIRM for just under 2 years. After never being able to get pregnant on my own (tried for 5 years with some help from my Gyno) I just graduated from FIRM to an OB with so far a healthy pregnancy! Dr. Winslow tried less invasive ART first. We did 4 IUIs but all failed. I was glad to get to try 4 times before moving onto the more invasive and more expensive IVF. Which helped me understand that I did in fact need IVF.I was worried about things working which is normal. Dealing with infertility is very hard, but the staff at FIRM was so nice, and I felt like I was getting personalized care not only from Dr Winslow but from all nurses and admin staff. The wait times at almost all my appts was less than 10 minutes which is magnificent for a doctors office.Dr Winslow referred me to a really good endometriosis specialist before IVF, because I insisted I needed help with my pain. I felt relief right away after my surgery in February. I was more emotionally ready to start IVF after the surgery. The pharmacy they have you work with for the IVF drugs was so helpful and efficient. They even applied a coupon with each of my orders and had free next day shipping (for Florida addresses). Even if I didnt get pregnant, I would feel this way about FIRM. There are no guarantees, but my husband and I are so grateful there are professionals willing to give us better odds at conception. Thank you Dr. Winslow and all doctors, nurses and staff at FIRM.

Listen, I am a REAL patient and went through 3 cycles with the FIRM. Dr. Freeman was an awesome DOCTOR and I would go back to him over and over IF HE WERE AT ANOTHER FACILITY. Billing lied to me about cycle cost the first 2 times. It wasnt until the 3rd cycle that I realized I shouldve received a few thousand dollars in discounts but never did. I spoke with the billing person, Marabelle, who continued to lie until she FINALLY told me I was correct. I wrote a letter to Dr. Winslow (he runs the FIRM) and he never even responded to me. Not so much as a thank you and we will look into this. I will tell you this DO YOUR RESEARCH when it comes to billing and know what you are paying out of pocket for. I went on a site and found SEVERAL other couples who were lied to by billing and didnt receive the discounts. Also, COUPLES donate medicines BUT they rarely offer them to you. This place will SCAM your pants off when it comes to money.

PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS. AND NOT RECOMMENDED FOR WOMEN OVER 47!!!! I emailed the firm with a specific question about age Limits and no one responded. So - I called and was promptly directed to the new patient portal to fill out 40 minutes of personal information online and was told to wait to hear from someone about scheduling. A few days later I did in fact receive a call back. Shared my story with the intake person and excitedly was able to secure an appointment 6 weeks later! I had a consult at FIRM this week with a new doctor in the practice . The doctor was sweet. Spent a long time educating me (mostly on reproduction, which I didn’t need! I do have a child!). But she wasn’t sure if they had an age restriction (I didn’t think there was one)… what?! so we had to go out to the front desk and ask. On the way out. After my 40 minute consult. She asked the FRONT DESK what the age limit was. “I think the cycle has to start before you’re 48.” You ” think?” And I’m too old. It needed to be done before I turned 48, 6 months ago. 💔 So it was a colossal waste of time and emotional energy. Why they wouldn’t have told me that from the beginning is beyond my understanding. I do not get it. Surely reproductive specialists make hundreds of dollars an hour. Why they would even schedule a consult w someone who doesn’t qualify is dumb. And mean. And a poorly managed system. And to be told in front of the whole staff. And anyone listening in the waiting room or seeing us through the check in window... Wow. Hard to get my brain around even a day later… It made me feel ashamed of my age. Humiliated. I don’t plan to give up and neither should you if you are too “old.” But it is important for me to share this experience …just was a really terrible feeling. Utter shame and humiliation. I hope this review spares even one person the shame I faced. It is hard to imagine how they handle the sensitive and delicate matters of infertility with grace if they cannot properly schedule a consult while maintaining a shred of confidentiality or humility.

My husband and I have been trying for 4 years to get pregnant. My Dr referred me to Dr Winslow with the FIRM in Feb 2016 and Oct 2016 we are pregnant!!! Best Dr and staff!!! Always friendly and so helpful!!! Thank you FIRM and Dr Winslow for all you have done for us!!!

My Husband and I had a long journey. At first we couldnt see the road ahead because we had been waiting to be parents for a long time. But Dr. Melinda Henne was great. We had a few bumps in the road but everything was necessary to arrive to our destination. We are now 8 weeks pregnant!! We are so GRATEFUL. Mrs. Melinda is a very sweet Dr. Who CARES. God placed her in our lives for a reason and if you are thinking about IVF, She will be the right fit for you! Its a decision you WILL not regret. Do everything that is asked and Never stop asking questions bc thats how we learn. Praying is Key.

Dr Duffy was the most amazing, competent doctor. We are eternally grateful for his care and guidance which brought us two amazing daughters. As far as I’m concerned, there is no where else to go for infertility issues.

Almost two weeks ago I called to leave a message for Dr.. Michael Freeman. I was told that the new patient intake person would call me back. When she did, I explained that I needed to speak with Dr. Freeman, as he had been my infertility doctor for several years, and I had a few questions as I was having some medical complications at this time. She was so rude telling me she would not even give him a message to call me, that she needed to order records and that there was a process. I explained that I understood that however I did not think that he would mind giving me a quick phone call, possibly providing answers for what I need without having to take several weeks. Needless to say I have not heard from Doctor Freeman, but I totally do NOT blame him, I blame that on the new patient intake person. She was very rude, and I hope she doesnt treat all their new patients like that. I was a patient of his probably close to 15 years at three different offices.

They never answered call or return call back specially NURSES and BILLING staffEven if you leave them voice mailYou barely have to beg them in other to get a call back.You always advocate care, empathy, and excellency for patients so you should be doing better by answering their calls first or at least call them back instead of being careless after they trust you to take care of their lives and their babies lives.

I did so much research before choosing an IVF doctor and thank God every night we chose FIRM. Dr Freeman and all the staff are great. We made numerous trips to Daytona and Jacksonville form Fort Myers but it was worth it! We now have a beautiful healthy baby boy. We had a bad experience with another doctor and failed attempt before finding them. Thank you so much Dr Freeman well be back when were ready for baby #2!

We have called last year in July to get an appointment and were told no appointments are available till December. They told us we are on the waiting list for a December appointment. Comes December, but still no appointment. We requested several times a call back and appointment through their website, we called many times and got transferred to Maribel. We left voicemails on Maribels phone , but she never returned one phone call to this day! Neither have we heard back from any other office staff member after making several appointment requests. 8 months of wasted time , when time is the most sensitive part for families who depend on this.

Very good manners however I just wish I was more prepared. I met with doctors at FIRM 7 months ago and we decided (doctors to wait till a certain time to start treatment). I wish 7 months ago they had spoken to us about how to get the most out of treatment. I’ve learned more from google than these doctors. They just don’t inform you of everything. :-/

Wonderful staff! Dr Winslow was great and very knowledgeable. He was able to give us practical advice and a treatment plan that worked! I now have a beautiful little girl!

Experiencing back to back miscarriages is a traumatic life event I would not wish upon anyone. But the staff at the FL Institute has made this event 100 times worst. Attempting to make an appointment as a single female with no spouse or boyfriend seems to be frowned upon at this facility. I feel I was being shamed for not having a partner; instead of being seen as a proactive female trying to seek a skilled specialist to improve my reproductive health. Shame on you FL Institute a persons martial status should not be grounds for refusing service.

Dr.Winslow is the worst doctor he does no explain the process if you have question he will mock you on your accent. The bills are outrages. They post prices online for 1 ivf 7500 in reality one procedure they charged me over 10,000. They are a scam.

We havent actually used their services yet but we have been calling in with questions about the application and processes. When I called I had a very nice lady who was very helpful(3/7/2019) . When my husband called he was treated very nasty(3/11/2019). The lady on the phone was talking to him like he was stupid and very sarcastically . The reason for his calls is to get a better understanding and some guidance . We dont know much about this and it is very new to us . My recommendation is better people answering the phone/ front desk. We havent met with a doctor or really understood all they can offer but I almost dont want to by the way we were handled.

I would not recommend this practice or Dr. Erb. Billing and customer service are in complete chaos and hard to work with. Dr. Erb on the first visit was easy to work with until my wife and I decided that we didn’t want to use a donor egg from the FIRM. She claims to stay in contact with her patients, which she doesn’t and when asked about that, she denied it and turned things around. My wife also had a life threatening reaction to a medication that she was prescribed. The nurse at the firm told me the medication has never been known to cause these issues, yet the side effects in the medicine container clearly stated that. I took my wife to the er because after trying to contact her, the voice mail at the office said for any medical emergencies go straight to your local er, which we did. Dr. Erb the next day said she was upset that we didn’t contact her. We did what her voice mail and nurse said to do. I would stay away. After spending a few thousand dollars we have zero results and devastated by all the time, money and emotions invested.

The only reason why I gave this facility a poor 🌟 is because I had a consultation with Dr. Winslow here in Valdosta, GA. He was very nice but his staff constantly called me to let me know I need to pay for the visit upfront, over the phone whatever. I was planning on using cash because thats what I always do just to protect myself from any type of fraud. I thought the visit was a waist of time, he couldve told me the information over the phone. I went ahead and paid the $60 co-payment and I am thinking that this was gonna be the last time I hear from him which didnt brother me at all. Weeks later I get a notice saying that I owe $60... I made numerous phone calls to the staff so i could dispute the charges and I constantly got transferred to the wrong people. I paid for my visit fair and square to that crooked doctor at the Valdosta office. This office want get another dime out of my pocket and I hope others will have better experiences than me.

They do not deserve a star but this is my only option.If you care about your values and your money please choose a better fertility clinic. Not only we were treated like a number but also we had the worst experience with the financial department. Be aware of Linda and Christina.

We had IVF cycles performed at Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine. Do not get me wrong, the Doctors and Nurses are very nice and caring. We are very grateful for their help and support... Unfortunately, their efforts are tarnished by Billing/Finance personnels.We would like all of you to BEWARE of their Billing Department (Danielle) and Office Manager (Maribel). They are NOT STRAIGHTFORWARD and VERY VERY TRICKY. They will lie and cheat in every way to get money from you. They would even submit fraudulent/duplicated charges to get more money from you and insurance company.1. The claims (procedure codes) of all IVF cycles submitted to the insurance company were not consistent, eventhough there were same procedures. Upon questioning, Danielle stated that Oh, we probably forgot to submit some claims, we will definitely go back to review and submit them. Is that what you want? Very childish method to answer when she notices her own mistakes. NEVER APOLOGIZE.2. Many submissions to insurance company were duplicated. Because our insurance company has a good faith (and does not think that they will falsify and submit fraudulent claims), those claims were paid to them. Upon questioning, they were very rude and unreasonable. They stated that they will not retract those duplicated charges Whatever claims have been submitted will not be retracted. They stated that it was our responsibility to ask insurance company to deny those claims. However, if the insurance denies those claims, then all those charges will be patients responsibility because they do not remove those charges from the bill.Many of the patients (including us) desperately want to have a baby. Many of us are self pay and pay them a lot of money with the hope. BUT, they are taking advantages of the situation. Their fraudulent act has been reported to our insurance investigation team and Florida Fraud Law Enforcement Division.

DO NOT GO TO FIRM!! Please please please do yourself a favor and stay away from this facility. Worst experience, I left their office crying every time. All they care about is $$$$$. You are just another person to them and you are treated like a number. The front desk and billing department are extremely unorganized and unfriendly. I am still receiving bills for visits and procedures I never had done. PLEASE LOOK ELSE WHERE!!

Online registration for a new patient s a nightmare. Customer service is horrible.Theres no obvious way to create a password, so you have to go straight to filling the form, then the page is loading for five minutes, then your session is over and you have to start all over again, not even knowing if what you have already done will be saved, because you still dont have an account with a password. If you try to set or reset password, you get email with the link, and when you click it, it says the ink already has been used. Calling for assistance is useless: the lady on the phone always forwards your call to new patient coordinator, who never picks up the phone, and if she does, she cant help you with filling out your form and just says the system will guide you through everything, so basically its not her problem.Looks like a nice welcome for a new patient. Nothing works right, and its your problem.

Dr. Duffy is the best. I had a terrible experience at Brown Fertility and came here and had a wonderful experience. I had my little girl at the age of 42 five years ago thanks to Dr. Duffy and his caring staff.

Thanks to Dr. Winslow and the amazing staff we have been blessed with our son. Maribel and Melissa will always be part of our family. I highly recommend the FIRM.

Rude. Just rude in every way, and its been more than one time that Ive experienced this. The doctor is polite and informative, but the staff up front, especially Erica, has an attitude problem. Appointments are so difficult to work out with them, and she will insinuate things as if youre an idiot and have no competency. RUDE.

I would recommend Dr. Winslow and the staff at FIRM. He is knowledgable and cares about his patients. My husband and I feel we are in good hands when we come to the office.

This place helped my hubby and I accomplished a dream we thought was impossible. After, visiting for a little under 3 months safe to say were pregnant after 7 long years of trying.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!!My wife and I have had consistent horrible customer service from this place. I fully understand that covid-19 has made process slower, but if one of my customers pays $9000.00 I fully intend on calling people back and leaving messages showing Im doing my best to communicate. They billing department was horrible, they want you to pay out of pocket instead of working with your insurance. Make sure you check with your insurance first!! Her name is Danielle in the billing department be careful!!
