Dr. Amy is the incredible! She is knowlegeable, kind, compassionate and comforting. I would recommend her to anyone who is trying to get pregnant. Dr. Amy listened to me and asked more thoughtful questions than any provider I’ve ever seen. After a thorough assessment, she suggested various lifestyle/diet changes along with some supplements and herbs. She recommended I implement these changes for 3 months and then try to get pregnant. I was pregnant after 3 months after years of trying! I’m now 35 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby and have had an incredible pregnancy. I believe all of this was due to following her recommendations. I can’t thank Dr. Amy enough!

Dr. Galvan is the BEST in her area of practice. After traditional doctors indicated that there was nothing left for me to do except take more medications for my hormone and fertility issues, I decided to look for an alternative route. Dr.Amy Galvan is truly amazing. I have already seen improvement and results in a short time. I am seeing her for help with my menopause symptoms and lack of sleep. I started seeing her in February and by March I was a whole new person. My moodiness, hot flashes, low energy, low libido, and extreme thirst have all vastly improved. Amy has been an incredible figure of hope and healing for me since I started seeing her in 2018. I started going to her for stress related health issues that came to light after an unexpected surgery. This included hormonal imbalance, gut and other autoimmune issues. Dr. Amy has worked wonders doing what she loves, and you can really tell she loves it! She is very knowledgeable and will explain everything before she does it. After struggling with fertility issues and suffering a miscarriage I began seeing Amy. After 2 months of acupuncture treatments and taking the herbs and supplements she prescribed, I was pleasantly surprised to end up pregnant. I can not say enough good words about Dr. Galvan. About 4 months ago I decided to go in for a consult to see if she could help with my psoriasis. Little did I know that she would be helping me feel like myself again after years of getting used to feeling exhausted, bloated, depressed, constant mood swings and digestive issues. After about 3 months I noticed that I was getting my energy back, feeling emotionally stable, losing weight, and just feeling good in my own skin again. She really cares, takes time with you, and is incredibly knowledgeable.

Dr. Amy Galvan does amazing work and I have been going to her with various serious health concerns for over 3 years now. Dr. Galvan is a consumate professional and has been able to care for my significant health care needs in ways that Western medicine has not been able to help me. I was a bit leary of acupuncture but received an incredible recommendation about Dr. Galvan from a trusted friend and collegue when I was suffering tremendously in pain and inflammation from a rare autoimmune disease, I even was put on chemotherapy for this disease. Dr. Galvan not only stopped the pain, and reduced my inflammation but within 6 months, I was able to stop the chemotherapy that at the time was going to to be a life time treatment for the auto immune disease. Since then, she has kept my disease at bay, has kept my pain in check and I go see her regularly like clockwork. She is caring, compassionate but is adept at knowing the body and its needs. Alberto and the Galvan team are wonderful!My hubby was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at 28. After several rounds of oral steroids and countless Naproxen prescriptions his rheumatologist decided to put him on immuno-suppressant injections. This terrified me from the start (Want some nightmares? Read the possible side effects of immuno-suppressant drugs) so I started looking into alternative therapies. While his rheumatologist seemingly scoffed at the notion of treatment options outside prescription drugs I was determined to find an answer for my husband that didnt include side effects worse than the original ailment.I stumbled on Galvan Acupunctures website after much research and digging. I decided to call the office to speak to someone about my hubby and if they thought they could help. Fully expecting to speak to a receptionist I was shocked when Dr. Al answered the phone. Alberto was kind and understanding as I rambled on about my worries for my husband, our experience with his rheumatologist and the feelings of helplessness Ive felt about being told that suppressing his immune system was the only way to alleviate his pain. Dr. Al explained how his Eastern Medicine therapies could help my husband, how insurance handles these treatments, empathized and validated my concerns and then kindly worked my hubby into the schedule for a first visit just a couple of days later.The office is gorgeous and my husbands first visit was relaxing, enlightening and hope-giving. He has now had five treatments which has included acupuncture, massage, cupping, exercise advice and supplement/dietary consulting. Upon Dr. Galvans advice we have eliminated gluten, added several necessary supplements and are continuing to better our diet. Plus, my husband is playing basketball like he did before his diagnosis. In the summer of 2012 I woke up one morning with a slight pain in my upper back. Nothing serious, but after a few days the pain got worse. I could not sleep or look up. Eventually the fingers on my left arm started going numb and not long after that my entire left arm. I went to a chiropractor for about 6 weeks with no relief. I tried therapeutic massage that almost killed me. I finally went to my doctor who prescribed several different medications to relieve the pain and help me sleep. They did not work. I had an MRI which showed 2 bulging discs in my lower neck. Probably a result of 30 years as a bench jeweler. Several people had suggested acupuncture but being a skeptic I pushed the idea aside. Trust me. When you have only been getting 1 to 2 hours sleep a night for over 2 months you become open to any idea. Galvan Acupuncture is near my business so I went to see him. He assured me that Acupuncture can relieve the inflammation and allow the muscles in my neck to relax, allowing my body to heal itself. On the first visit I was very nervous for obvious reasons. Needles hurt. Or so I thought. However, all I felt was a gentle thump as the needles were inserted. After the needles had been in for about 30 minutes Al removed them and did a very gentle but effective massage. I felt no relief that day but decided to give it a chance. I had 2 more treatments that week and after the third visit I thought I felt a little better. That night as I dreaded going to bed(that was when the pain was the worst) I situated my pillows to prepare for another long night of pacing the floor when the pain got too bad. I looked at the clock and it was 11:00 PM. I closed my eyes and looked up again. It was 7:30 in the AM! I had slept all night for the first time in months! I could straighten my head and the numbness in my hands was better. After 2 more weeks the numbness was gone and I felt normal. I am not a skeptic anymore. Our bodies can heal themselves without drugs or surgery and Acupuncture is a great tool to help. I will continue acupuncture as a part of my regular health maintenance. Both Alberto and Amy Galvan are wonderful people. Their office has a very comfortable atmosphere that eases the tension the moment you enter the door. More importantly, they helped me get my health back.
