What started off to be a very nerve wracking experience, between my consult and my appointment, the staff was wonderful and eased all my nerves. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you for such a pleasant experience in a stressful time!

It seems like no one who works the office/desk has any idea what is going on except the masculine-representing young person. Completely wasted my time and gave me half information time and time again even though I made what I needed as clear as freakin day. If you want any level of prenatal care or general competency, dont go here at all.

The staff and nurses are so amazing and kind. They were very informative and they helped ease my mind a lot with getting the IUD. I’m am so glad for my nurse practitioner:)

I made an appointment to start the process for a medical abortion. All of the staff was very nice and professional, they were very helpful and thorough in their explanation and answered all the questions I had.

Some of the best care Ive gotten. I came here for a safe abortion and was well-informed and incredibly comfortable. Nothing happened without them informing me and explaining everything to help my anxiety around the situation. The doctors and nurses were all attentive and incredibly kind not only during intake and procedure but also into my recovery. Im so thankful I had this site and this staff to rely on. Thank you if youre reading this. 💜

The staff is compassionate, professional, and just overall wonderful. There is a bit of a wait but considering the volume of patients they receive on a day to day it is understandable. Provider took time to listen, understand, and respond to every comment or concern of mine. Safety and privacy is of utmost importance to staff so take care to arrive alone if possible. Be sure to complete check in online prior to coming in to reduce wait time. All things seemed clean and sanitized, including the bathroom.

At the beginning I loved this location, but idk if it is due to low staffing, or too busy, but they just dont take the time to read the file or understand where you are coming from anymore.Of all the places to have dismissive medical staff, PP was the last place I would have thought to have it, but I guess all medical offices are the same in the end.

I called this place like 10 times to get my birth control prescription(which is still valid) re-sent to my pharmacy and my pharmacy was never able to get it I called almost a week ago to let them know and they were supposed to give me a call back to let me know they solvedthe problem. That never happened I had to get a new prescription from somewhere else. The front desk people don’t know how to do their job.

This planned parenthood is amazing . I had to get an abortion and was absolutely terrified beyond words . The staff there is phenomenal. Highly educated , compassionate and efficient. It went better than I could have possibly expected . It’s hard to pick a favorite because they were all so nice but a lady there named Jessica was the best and comforted me through the whole thing . I hope every staff member sees this review and feels proud of themselves.

I am beyond grateful for my experience at Planned Parenthood, with provider Emily Zink. I couldn’t have asked for a more humble, knowledgeable, compassionate professional, to have cared for me. Despite the sensitivity of my appointment, I felt really good leaving their office. Emily made me feel comfortable in such an uncomfortable situation. She went above and beyond to make sure I knew I had support. She treated me like family and not once did I feel rushed. I wish every medical facility would have providers like her.Thank you.

I went to this planned parenthood for a safe abortion. I had Dr. Tien, her and the nurses that assisted were so helpful and understanding about everything. Dr. Tien has such a motherly voice and she made me feel so safe while she was doing my procedure. I was even able to get an IUD after and I honestly feel no pain at all. I had the best experience :))

Set an appointment with a doctor apparently that doctor wasn’t even there to talk to. Even though that’s the doctor I was supposed to talk to about a liver issue with my hormones I was basically told that I can’t have my appointment after driving 2 hours no call or warning or whatever and they told me I can’t even go there anymore because I’m not a patient but how did I even get a appointment when they were booked out till March for patients they didn’t get back in contact to re schedule my appointment after Florida law change either if you go here you’re gonna have to fight for the care you need every planned parenthood is the same when it comes to hormone therapy they don’t care

Excellent amazing experience!! I wish there were more than 5 stars. This business and staff were helpful, super friendly, and very personable about my situation. They went above and beyond and helped me in more ways than anyone will ever know. I got an appointment quickly for a gynecological issue. The staff was very nice and helpful and my nurse practitioner Megan was an angel. I definitely recommend this place !

This place says they accept medicaid plans but after a nice long drive up there only to find out they do not accept MY medicaid plan. Even though their website was perfectly fine accepting that healthplans information when i scheduled the appointment. Long story short,fix your website so it doesnt accept something that you dont actually accept.

The waiting is long. Be prepared to wait for 3 more hours. Besides that, all the workers there are super friendly and kind. I was proactive to let them know about I was tight on time, so they found a doctor for me quickly in the end. But if I didn’t ask, my wait time would be 4 hours or more. So you must inform them. Khadijah is awesome, very courteous, informative and kind. Other two ladies are kind too. The front desk receptionist was also nice. Just the wait time, oh my, be prepared.

Waited over two months for an appointment, only to have it canceled the week before with no prior warning (or even a reason given!). When calling in to determine why it was canceled, the only reason given was that the insurance wouldnt cover the visit.??? In what world does that justify cancelling an appointment? And not an apology—nothing! Why assume I wouldnt be able to pay for it and just cancel it out of the blue?Not to mention the difficulty in booking an appointment in the first place, because for whatever reason, it can only be done over the phone and openings are always at least a month out.And despite calling in within half an hour of the appointment being canceled, it couldnt be rebooked because it was already taken. I have half a mind to think it was intentionally canceled to make room for someone else.Planned Parenthood already has a terrible reputation, and its service like this that makes it look worse!

Definitely not a fan that they charge over $100 for an ultrasound plus $24 less than a minute for an appointment. What am I paying for if y’all aren’t doing your job. Never going to the location again

I had a great experience at this office. I was able to schedule my appointment online, I got there 5 min before and was seen right on time. Everyone was welcoming. The nurses were amazing! Detailed and helpful. I knew exactly what was happening at every stage of my appointment. The doctor was great. I really appreciated the high quality service and I would highly recommend here.

Everyone at this location is very kind, informative and will answer any questions you have, and they all have smiles on their faces. i think something should be done to better manage the wait time problems they have but i dont work there so i cant say it’s not out of their control. they take good care of me here- listen to things i have to say, encourage me to ask questions, and look out for my needs when something that will affect me is happening, even if i had no idea about it. if you consider going here i recommend it. they make you feel very welcome.

Been a regular patient at this location for almost 3 years, incredibly caring and wonderful staff. i couldn’t feel safer or more respected. Miranda and morgan took exceptional care of me today, but i’ve come to expect nothing less from the lovely folks at powers planned parenthood

I wanted moral support and asked if my mother can come in and they told me no because there was “to many patience” there but it was 4 with one person for moral support but I couldn’t have my mother there. And they never talked to me about anything they just put me in a room and told me to wait 2-3 hours until the doctor came and I am a new 18 year old who doesn’t know a lot Aka I never been to the doctor alone… and the put one of my appointments on my birthday and said I was 17 but when asked for ID the show I was 18

Went to get a refill on my birth control and to get regularly tested. The staff was absolutely amazing! The nurse that took me back was so nice and spoke with me about every question I had. You could definitely tell she knew her stuff and it was quite refreshing. For someone that self pays everything usually places dont have friendly staff or the staff seems like they dont like their job. The nurse practitioner was amazing as well!

I can never thank them enough for the care that they provided my wife. Being a patient here is not easy! Not only do you have to deal with antagonizers outside of the building, but you also have to deal with your own thoughts and emotions. My wife being treated with empathy, kindness, and thoroughness means so much! Also, she was kept safe from any potential harassment! The staff was eager to assist with anything they could to make her comfortable. Even willing to escort from vehicle to the lobby! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing! I went in today for STD testing. The staff were amazing and the facility was really nice! I believe I saw Laura (I hope Im spelling her name correctly) and she was absolutely amazing. She was super helpful. I was also able to get the blood test results back before I even left. Definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful experience! I was really nervous because of all the negative reviews but the check-in went smooth I arrived early because it was my first time I changed birth control everyone was friendly and social it wasnt awkward and it wasnt unorganized the only thing that threw me off besides passing it altogether to find it was when you walk up to check in you call the number on the second door after that everything was great! 👍🏻👍🏻☺️

I would have rated it 5 stars but unfortunately it took longer to actually go and see my doctor. I booked an appointment two months prior and arrived 15 minutes earlier than my booked time and I waited an hour and a half just to receive birth control. Other than that everything was perfect. The staff was very polite and friendly and my doctor Christina was amazing! She deserves a five star rating. She actually cared about what kind of birth control would be best for me that would help me with my monthlys. I would recommend this place to everyone. Also it is a super safe place to go. I was worried for my safety because Ive seen some centers with riots outside but this place had none of those and had all the safety precautions. I felt safe and important. Hopefully in the future they will have more employees to make the wait time shorter. Once again, dont let that stop you from going here. Its a great place.

First time at this planned parenthood location and I was so excited to get a next day cancelation appt. I was disappointed about the cost of my appointment but I understood that things have changed with Planned Parenthood pricing. I had a 2:40 PM appointment and arrived at 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I asked the front check in person if she could confirm that my appointment was at 2:40 and she said I don’t know I haven’t looked. That was unprofessional off the bat. After waiting for what seemed like forever I asked when I was going to be seen, she said there were two people ahead of me. That was at 3:15. I was finally taken back at 3:45 with the office closing at 4 PM. After spending a really long time answering questions with the nurse she told me to get undressed so the doctor could come back in five minutes. 5 minutes? No, 45 minutes.I used my phone to call the front desk after 15 minutes asked where the doctor was and she said they were short staffed and she would be there in five minutes and offered me a blanket. Honestly I’ve just never spent this long in a doctors office and left with so little help. At the end of my visit I was almost over charged from what I was initially told, and what the doctor told me. I wasn’t prepared to afford that. I was also prescribed something and not even told how to use it. I now know it’s not some thing I can use and I have to wait the whole weekend without medicine and call back Monday and hope they will switch it out for me. This has been a very stressful few days, and I hope it can be avoided in the future!

I had to get a D&C done and I originally went to the Florida Womens Center and was ABSOLUTELY TRAUMATIZED there (more later)!!! So I came to PP instead and the difference in experience was insane. The women that work here are amazingly supportive and patient education and comfort is a main priority for them and it is very obvious. I knew what medicines I was going to be given and what they were for at all times and what my next step in the process was going to be at all times. They take their time and are very thorough and make sure you have choices and options in how you would like your experience to be- from whether or not youd like to see the ultrasound to how you would like pain to be managed during procedures. Even when I was in the procedure room the assistants were there with me encouraging me and informing me when there would be discomfort. I actually started to cry because I was so overwhelmed with support from the staff during such a vulnerable and scary time.The place I went to before did not have an education step to their process and the doctor (Patrick Kelly) refused to answer questions about what medications he was giving me, which is a violation of the Florida Patient Bill of Rights, and ultimately led to extreme anxiety and fear and my leaving the facility scared and panicked. He was very arrogant and mocking and didnt care about his patients, he just wanted to get them out. The nurses there were nice but stood behind the doctor, not with me, like at PP. PP turned a traumatizing experience into an experience of support and comfort and I will be forever grateful for that. Please PLEASE make sure you are being informed and you are a part of YOUR process, whatever it may be and wherever you go. Do not be afraid to speak up and leave a practice if you are uncomfortable. I am so thankful I left and came here instead.

Very nice staff, made me feel safe & taken care of. If you’re looking into an abortion (especially in the Jacksonville are) planned parenthood is the only place I would consider. They genuinely care about whoever walks through the door.Just bring a jacket bc it’s a bit chilly, maybe a snack and plan to be there for a few hours each visit.

I visited this location for a non surgical abortion. I had already beat myself up about the situation I got myself into, I expected them to do the same. I was pleasantly surprised that no one seemed to pass judgment on me and everyone supported my decision. The appointment lasted about 4 hours, there was a lot of back and forth between them and my insurance company but in the end they took care of all my needs and were able to bill my insurance. The staff was all helpful. I am so thankful planned parenthood is available for those in need. It is not a bad place. It is a place of empowerment and womens rights. They really helped me through a difficult time. I appreciate them and the services they offer.

This place literally has me in tears right now I’m so frustrated. First, on the appointment day I waited about an hour and a half past my appointment time to be seen. I’m okay with waiting and I know that’s common, but an 1.5 hours was really stretching it. Additionally people that kept coming in after me were being seen before me. I get some appointments might be very quick, but it was frustrating that I was sitting there in pain watching people walk in and out. Then when I called to make an appointment I asked if they had an ultrasound machine because I was concerned about severe pain that I suspect is from my birth control. When I got to the office they told me they can’t give ultrasounds for that reason? My issue with this is what if I was having a medical emergency and you just didn’t give me the ultrasound? The provider wanted to give me one but I guess the office manager said no. They gave me a script to go get an ultrasound done somewhere else but after I left I realized they didn’t tell me where to go. I tried calling them but they are unreachable!!! To top that off I clearly asked them to send any medications to CVS and gave them the address for CVS. Days went by and CVS told me they did not receive an RX for my medication but insurance was showing it was filled somewhere else. I come to find it it’s filled at some Walgreens I’ve NEVER used before. I understand mistakes but I’ve never encountered a more inconvenient and frustrating place in my life. Honestly. Women’s health needs to be better than this.

I made an appointment and then found out later that I needed to change my reason for my appointment. I let them know when they called to confirm my appointment and the lady told me that she would make note. But when I came in for my appointment she didn’t have anything down and then asked me if I called the right number.I also had already answered most of the check in questions online. It was really difficult for me as a woman in crisis having to yell my reasoning over a counter almost as tall as me. And it was also a HIPPA violation to scream my personal information to all of the people in the waiting room . I was very disappointed with the way the office ran as no one seemed to know what was going on and gave me very little direction. When I was leaving I was trying to get a bag of protection to take home with me and another lady came up to me and told me that I needed to go back into my room after the medical assistant already told me I could leave. Then the lady with the bag came back and told me I didn’t have to go back in there. Then the woman who originally told me to go in there said “no I still have some questions to ask her” it was the safety questions. Which I agree are very important but I’d already answered them online. In addition, with the amount of calls/emails to remind me of my appointment; if I was in an unsafe position they could have put me into danger.

I was having lots of trouble with my former ob losing all my info and charging me insane amounts of money. I visited planned parenthood for the first time and it was such an amazing experience! From the time I walked in the door to the time I left everyone introduced themselves and were extremely friendly! They were all very caring and genuine. I highly recommend this place to anyone at any income level, it is very affordable and the facility was one of the cleanest dr offices that I have been in. Excellent service

Very nice staff everyone here is nice and doing great things for the people that come here from all over. I’m helping stand in the fight for All our rights and freedom over our health and mind. Every Woman should have her own birthright to whatever they would like to do with their bodies at anytime especially if it’s going to cause complications in the near future. So to anyone and everyone whom may read this please help us stand in this fight together and stand up for our Rights at all time. While the doctor and nurse were nice the front desk staff wasn’t as pleasant, they were rather dismissive and cold. The time management could definitely be better, as well. My appointment was at 11:20 am and I was seen by the doctor until almost 1 pm.

I came here for a safe abortion and had so much anxiety. The staff here is amazing. It went so much better than I could have ever expected.

I love kadejah, she is an amazing person, I only come there for her. She makes me feel so comfortable and always caring. I wish she was my OB! I will always remember her and her face! I recommend kadejah for anybody coming in. God bless her she is an amazing individual 🥺❤️.And might I also give recognition to the team they are very professional and caring this is my 4th visit and everything is still how it was the first time. I will recommend this place to all my family and friends and will be back again Thankyou !

Megan was super sweet and knowledgeable. she made me feel wrapped. she made me feel she really cares. it was fast and easy and very confidential.

Worst experience ever. The doctor charged me $130.00 just for “talking” and “figure out” what was going on. She didn’t even do a mam or pap check, NOTHING.

Got an iud placed, everyone was so nice and I felt very comfortable. The procedure itself was pretty painless compared to what I was expecting. Thank you !!

I had a really great experience at this place. Everyone is very friendly and genuinely nice. The rooms are all modern and super clean and it didnt feel like a cold empty doctors office. The people working here are all organized and made every process quick and easy. Im very grateful for such good service.

This location is great just like the last one was! Planned parenthood was there for me when I was first looking for birth control options at the age of 18. I was too nervous to speak with my family doctor so I decided to go to planned parenthood. They helped me with all my questions and 6 years later I still go there because of the wonderful ladies that were there for me and guided me when I knew nothing about birth control. I have insurance now and even though it is not accepted here I still go as a self pay patient because of how comfortable they make me feel. I cannot thank you all enough for helping me!

I went yesterday and today to the doctor and has to said that I am very scared with doctors but Celina did an amazing job 😊😊 . Her patience and dedication was wonderful. Thanks for everything. My experience here was excellent. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, courteous and kind. My MA was honest and funny. I had tons of questions about my options for birth control and they were answered in full plus some. Thank you PP Jax for doing what you do!

I’ve been going to this planned parenthood for over three years now and never had issues. I always spent less than 15 minutes inside when it came time for me to get my depo shot every three months. After each appointment, I always scheduled my next visit the very same day which helped me in getting that day off from work need be months in advance. Today I called to let the office staff know I was going to be running a little late for my appointment because traffic was awful & they tell me I’m not scheduled. I get to planned parenthood and show them the physical card proving that I had an appointment scheduled three months prior & they tell me they have a new system and that I have to come in as a walk in because whoever scheduled it didn’t save it in the system. Not only am I inconvenienced but I’m being blamed for something that was out of my control. As I’m talking to one of the office staff another girl jumps in the conversation and catches an attitude with me saying that I’m going to have to wait because I’m not in the system & proceeds to say she understands my frustration when that could never be the case. She attempted to invalidate my feelings & showed no empathy or sympathy. As of being on birth control doesn’t cause enough emotional stress/damage, this was the very last thing I needed. After 30+ minutes of waiting I got my last shot here and Im never going to this planned parenthood again. I will be getting my depo shots from my Obgyn from now on. The service here was never this ghetto until today.

If you’re gonna make an appointment don’t bother doing it on their website , left work early and drove 30 minutes for them to tell me they don’t take my insurance. Very irresponsible

The people here were very nice but your time management sucks. I made an appointment at 9:50 didnt get seen till 11. If I make an appointment at a certain time I would think they would see you at that time. Then they say is going to be 2 to 4 hours of this but really ur just waiting those hour to see someone not really with a doctor. I told them a few times I had to work and couldnt wait all day but did nothing.

Im really not the one to write reviews....but I do think my experience needs to be heard. I have the implanon in my arm and I can say its been the best birth control I have ever had. It did its job and did it well. Really no side affects at all and the recovery was easy . For the past few weeks I have been calling them to get an appointment for the removal and they kept saying I would get a call back in a few days blah blah blah. Well I waiting for a week and when I called I got the same answer. I waited another week and got the same thing!!!!! Finally after a few days I did get someone on the phone to book my appointment for the removal. But I was transferred twice having to repeat what I wanted. The final lady who took my call was so very rude to me. And tried to tell me at first that my removal without insurance is going to cost me 299$ and then she went on to say that its going to cost 300$ and I said no maam last time I was told it was 200$ . (At this point I felt like she was making up numbers) And then she paused and huffed and said ok your appointment is so and so. And I said ok thank you and she just says yep . This lady was beyond rude and just talked over me and made me feel stupid. Now Im worried if I may get the same treatment when it comes time for my appointment. I have never been so disrespected by a customer service representative. Just sad.

Very helpful nurses, they took the time to make sure everything was okay and were very informative. I went here to change my birth control and they offered the best price I could find. I felt very comfortable here. I highly recommend them!

Scheduled appointment using the online system, requesting a telehealth visit that was approved based on the answers I selected for the systems questions. Then, got a call from someone with an accent, very difficult to understand, who had no patience or customer service approach, rushed me through some questions and barely gave me an opportunity to answer them, then she didnt understand or interpret my answers correctly.Based on her incorrect understanding of my current health situation, she told me I would have to go into a clinic to be treated for something I had not been tested for, nor had any known exposure to, which was the purpose of my appointment: routine testing.Now my appointment is canceled and there are no appointments available for two weeks. Why have an online scheduling system for telehealth visits if you are going to staff a call center to call me, with staff who lack the proficiency to understand patients who speak English?

Compassionate and respectful to each person who comes to the clinic. I had insurance complications after giving birth, along with an ob who didn’t give me all the information I needed about birth control after having a baby. (Btw:breast feeding as birth control wasn’t my first choice). I love the staff at this clinic, who helped me when I needed it the most. Sincerely, thank you all

I will say the people are pretty nice….That’s it….my appointment was at 210 I wasn’t seen for almost two hours for just a consultation im like whatever i know they are short staffed but GOODNESS…spoke with 2 nurses and have literally been sitting in a cold room for AN HOUR!!!! if you’re getting a procedure one of them you have to wait 24 hours in case you change your mind (Florida law) but the amount of time they make you sit and wait will give you all the time you need to think about whatever… again i have been in this room no one has walked in to say anything FOR now OVER AN HOUR!!!! For someone who is anxious or worried they do not make it better all you hear is the workers out the door laughing and giggling at this moment over an hour no one has said the doctor would be with me and they close in less than 30 mins…again the staff is very nice and they are short staffed but i think in those events they should take less ppl to not have ppl waiting for soooooo long

I went here a few years ago for an STD panel after I was assaulted, and I know a few people whove went for pregnancy tests, birth control, or cancer screenings. They were loving and kind to me when I was terrified, and made a bad situation more bearable. This clinic is clean and professional, and helped me like it has helped countless others. Im forever grateful they are there for people who are scared and have nowhere else to turn. Thank you for everything you do, and for the care you show and provide.

I used the services of clinics in California for 2 years and I never had anything to complain about, I was always very well attended. But Im a little confused here, I dont have health insurance and in California I could get free care, because my income is small! How does it work here? There is a price list, I would like to know if I can pay for the service.

So clean,professional, and everyone is so nice. I came here to get my nexplanon removed and the depo shot. I was so nervous but everyone helped me to become calm and made sure I didnt have to worry about much. Service was quick. Didnt have to pay a lot. Definitely will be coming back again soon.

Ive never been to this place and Ive already decided I never want to. Ive been trying to call and make an appt for FIVE DAYS! Each time me or my aunt called we sat on hold for an hour or longer. We scheduled callbacks and wouldnt get one until a day or two later, and couldnt answer because I was at work. Tried to make an appt online and it wouldnt let me do that either, it said for what I was doing I had to call. Theres no way theres nobody available to answer a phone for that long, for that many days. I honestly expected better service especially from a planned parenthood that got recommended to me. Absolutely ridiculous.

So nice and personable! Was worried about coming here, but they were so nice and helped me with my birth control. So much better than my doctors office!! The nurse Elizabeth and NP Laura are amazing

While I respect what the clinic does I have not had the best experience with this clinic. I had to wait two weeks for an appointment for birth control and a problem visit. They told me they could do both appointments at once only to find out they could not but, the doctor helped me with the problem anyways. I asked the nurse if I should take a urine test due to having uti symptoms and she said no. This surprised me and didnt sound correct at all. They gave me an antibiotic and birth control. I was called the next day because they should not have given me the birth control they gave me due to having high blood pressure. I told the new doctor Lori that they didnt give me a urine test and she gave me one. Guess what, I did have UTI! This was really neglagent as a simple urine test would have ruled this out. She gave me another antibitotic, the depo shot instead and i left. Dr. Lori was the best! She took two calls from when I was worried about how fatigued and flu-like I was feeling. However, on Friday all of my problems returned along with a new symptom, dispite taking all the drugs as recommended. I called to let them know this and the woman who answered seemed very busy, and pretty much blew me off. All she said was keep taking your meds and then if the symptoms havent gone away call us. Well after four days of treatment, the problem should be getting better not worst. She didnt even tell me what to do to ease the symptoms just take the rest of the meds and call us back if they dont work. Ive had a misrerable weekend just trying to keep myself mildly comfortable despite having really bad symptoms. Dr. Lori and the front desk were the best part but this hasnt been the best experience. Sadly, with my health insurance Im stuck here. I dont know how comfortable I feel following up with them as im on my last day of meds and my symptoms are worst than ever.

My first time visiting. I had an appointment, drove 30 minutes just to be told that the doctor left and I will not be able to be seen. Had to reschedule.. no heads up, no call, NOTHING! Waste of gas and time. Very unprofessional.

I cant speak for the other negative reviews but I have been using Planned Parenthood for all my healthcare needs for over a decade. I LOVE Jacksonville PP! Always warm and friendly, the staff here are excellent! I do not have insurance but have never had a problem. My sole beef has been that since the merger with north and south FL PPs, the call center that handles calls has been a little frustrating but those folks have nothing to do with these folks. From what I understand, they are getting a new call center, which is awesome. Without PP, I doubt I would be able to afford basic womens health care. Much love to PP!

I have been a long time patient of planned parenthood in Missouri. I moved to Jacksonville, and man is it different. So much less regard for the patients here. Apparently the staff took a vote and decided to reduce hours patients can access healthcare here, at the ONLY planned parenthood in Jacksonville. And decided to cancel my appointment. Very disappointing to find out how selfish they are.

Everyone here has been so helpful and kind every time I come for an appointment or to pick up my pills. The negative reviews on here are people clearly trying to trash talk an organization that they have never actually used or visited. The people here are so friendly and help to provide me with services that I otherwise would not be able to afford. Thank you for all the help you provide Planned Parenthood of Jacksonville!

Very professional environment. Gotten the Nexplanon procedure, and the doctor there did the procedure flawlessly. The procedure only took 10 minutes, very quick service.

I love this planned parenthood location! my old location in central florida was the absolute worst, i would sit up to an hour after my appointment time, still waiting. but this one always takes me on time, if not early. everyone is always nice and treats me well. its by far the best.

I love planned parenthood and have been going to clinics in the various cities Ive lived in for years but the Jacksonville center was the most upsetting experience. I set up an appointment for a gyn/annual exam and was quite nervous. Well as soon as I stated I did not have insurance everyone got very rude and I was only given a pap, breast exam and urine dipstick which ended up costing me over $200 dollars (way more then Ive paid in every other state and I make less then $150 a week ) was never given std or anemia testing and when I tried asking some difficult questions about painful vaginal health I was brushed off as the doctor was in a rush. Still very upset but Im breaking up with PP until I move to a new city and can go to a diffrent PP center.

Miranda is the best nurse I’ve had here!! Gave me an injection after I explained bad past experiences and was super nice and quick. Thanks 👍

I went in for STD testing, the planned parenthood i went to last year gave me the questionnaire on paper, and gave me time to fill it out alone and then after i was done, the answers were entered into the system. however, at this location, i was asked all of those personal questions, face to face, while making eye contact, and witnessing the facial expression after each of my answers. this made me uncomfortable and sort of intimidated. The doctor made me feel like i was her first patient that said i was having unprotected sex... why else would i be concerned about an std? gah.

Needed my IUD removed, my normal gynecologist wanted $375 plus a $180 office visit fee. I make $9 with part time hours, work no benefits. At Planned Parenthood, it was $210. I could cry, this is fairly priced and with quality staff.

I always come here for my needs. Only thing I would tell you to keep in mind is the appointments are highly sought after. Book in advance or call.

I felt comfortable and safe, the procedure went smoothly, thankful to had an experience where staff really care about their jobs!! Highly recommend

Im a Genderqueer, trans patient and PP manages my T after a full hysto. This is the most gender affirming medical facility Ive ever frequented. I spent the last year in back to back surgeries for a repoductive condition and it wasnt until I visited Planned Parenthood that I felt secure in knowing how I identified wouldnt confuse, confound or negatively impact the quality medical care I recieved. Strong recommend to any transgender patients looking for a safe affirming spot to do HRT.

I am very disappointed in how staff manages. I called around 11:30am to see if I could come in. They told me to come in as a walk in. They had appointments at 12:30 , 1:30 and so forth. The pregnant receptionist asked if I had an appointment and I said no , Im a walk in. She said theyre short on staff and unable to take walk ins. After I was told to come in and the earliest was 12:30.I told her I was willing to wait and they still wouldnt take me in!You all are UNCARING PEOPLE!

Never had a Healthcare provider be more understanding, kind, and accommodating. Ive had times where I cant pay the full amount for services I needed and they were able to cover it with funding

Tried to call about an appointment for bc and since Ive never done this before I was expecting the woman on the phone to be helpful. She picked up and already sounded aggravated, all I got from her was thanks for calling planned parenthood how can I help and I asked what I could do about seeing a gynecologist and she hangs up. That was incredibly rude and that was literally my first time calling a place like this for help. Thanks -_-

Wait times can be a little long, but everyone is super understanding, friendly, and great with explaining everything. Also the only place I could find to get on HRT!

Honestly one of the best planned parenthoods Ive been to. They were very friendly and seemed like they cared about my health. Also wait time was not bad either.

Very friendly and welcoming, willing to help answer any questions you may have, inform you of everything you should know. My first time here and they even gave me a little goodie bag with some essentials haha. Will definitely be coming back!

It was my first time going to a clinic for a check up and to get birth control pills. They were super nice and very friendly I would rate it a Five but..... unfortunately they take sooo long to release someone from the rooms 😏

The staff was so helpful. Dr. Lori is Amazing!!! She talk with me and gave me some good information. Ill be back at this location. Thank you so much of having a great staff

I drove two hours for my appointment and showed up the day of, and they had a sign on the door saying temporarily closed. They never tried to call, or leave messages and I proceeded to get appointment confirmations the day of from the website.

This place did very well they were very informative and help me through the process the only thing that I did have a downfall with is that I had an appointment and because somebody else came in and needed an appointment they pushed my back or tried to make me reschedule but other than that the whole experience was good

Clean and welcoming atmosphere. However nothing is free if youre older than 25 which they could have told me first. Testing for STDs is 153 which isnt bad.

Everyone is so fun and friendly! They quickly answered any and all of my questions, I would highly recommend them

Their schedule online is completely wrong. fridays it said they close at 6, got there at 5:15 and it was closed; supposedly they close at 5pm, yet online saids otherwise.

I give 10 stars to PP, despite my nerves and the situation I was there for. My experience was incredible. They treated me as if I were at home. Everyone was very kind and very good to me. They explained everything they did to me. I had a The girl speaks Spanish and made me feel protected, both Somer and Mey the doctor and another girl whose name I dont remember, they didnt leave me alone at any time. I am super grateful. I recommend PP. Thank you for helping me so much.
